The ALoft is great value, but unfortunately my room was subject to a lot of noise, adjacent to elevators and facing a busy street. Front desk staff were all terrific. Bathroom was clean. Room itself could have used better vacuuming; crumbs on carpet from previous guests. I appreciated the in-room coffee!

We had a 2 queen bedroom and there is sheer glass in the bathroom so whenever someone had to use the bathroom late at night and turned the light on to see it shined into the bedroom where everyone slept. The room was not nearly big enough for 4 people. And there was only 1 outlet between the beds. We all had medical devices and it became extremely difficult to figure out where to plug it in. May have to bring a mini generator next time for my medical device.

Pet-owner Friendly with Extra Perks!

The location was great and had easy access to walking/biking paths down to the river. Trader Joe’s is just down the block and we were able to take advantage of that to grab snacks. It was a wonderful stay and we especially loved that our pup stayed for FREE! The pool and hot tub was a plus as well and the lobby has a pool table and other fun board games/activities. One of the most engaging hotel stays I’ve experienced.

First time staying here in the city, loved my room and my stay. It was close to things and near where my conference was, I enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend again if coming back. We get here & have a hard time with parking. We park in the temp spot & try to check in. You need a card to get inside. Luckily someone was walking out when we were checking a 3rd door.

Front desk staff was VERY unprofessional. Asked my name, then asked for a booking #. I give him my phone so he can see my receipt himself. Finally finds it. I ask if he needs my ID or card. He shrugs & takes both, then just says he charged $150 to my card. There was zero warning or explanation of an incidental deposit. I ask about parking, he says “Street parking is free. Sorry if I seem off, just wanna get out of here, ya know?” He hands me the room key then moves on to the next person.

Well, street parking is NOT free. Had to find a parking garage & pay by the hour. Come back inside with our bag & realize he never told us ANYTHING. I ask front desk staff how to find our room & she rudely says “The elevator is right there” like I was bothering her.

We set our stuff in our room & notice an odor but we’re in a hurry so we accept it, change quick, & head to Target Field. Get back close to 12 AM. The floor of our room is now SOAKED (guessing leaking AC by location) & the smell is amplified X10. Smells like death.

I go to tell front desk. After making me wait absurdly long- tries telling me all other rooms are sold out. I show her a video. Rooms not stay-able. Tries forcing me into a queen with attitude. I refused, she was very rude. Another gal came & magically had a king. Awful.

Never received my deposit back of $150 dollars and my spot I paid for parking was taken by someone other then myself and I just want my deposit and the parking spot fee returned my stay was July 6th 2025 and I waited a little over a week to see if I would be reimbursed called the property on July 16 2025 an was told this is something they don’t handle and to contact my bank.

Aloft, more like the BASEMENT OF A BASEMENT LOFT

Shower was filthy/not clean
- my feet turned bright red, swelled, and started to itch. I reported the incident to management, but was told to wait a couple days to talk to another member of management (Ashley). The bathroom vanity was filthy as well. I couldn't get going with my day if I wasnt clean. There were fleas, not flies walking on the door brochures /vanity brochures/advertisements. The tile and grout in the shower room, toilet room, and vanity room was dirty.
The carpet in the bedroom was dirty as well. The carpet was blue and gray. The stains were brown, light brown, black and it has old food from and a previous occupant.
The door did not fit the door frame. The lights/electricity seemed not to work when I clicked the switch.

I got double booked at two different properties. Neither Expedia nor Aloft would bend on a refund even with 24 hours notice. So you got to split $500 between you for absolutely no service rendered whatsoever. I will never use Expedia nor will I ever stay at a Marriott property again. I have nothing positive to say about either of your services.
