Stayed at The Chambers Hotel Minneapolis and had a pretty mixed experience.

When we arrived, the hallway and our room were extremely hot (around 80°), which made it uncomfortable right away. We were also told breakfast ended at 10 AM, but found out the next morning it actually ended at 9—so we missed it entirely due to incorrect information from staff.

The biggest issue, though, was the lack of hot water. Our shower would not warm up at all. When we went downstairs to ask about it, a different employee informed us that there was no hot water in any of the rooms in the building—and that this should have been communicated to us the night before (it wasn’t).

At that point, we decided we couldn’t stay and checked out early. To their credit, the staff member we spoke with was very kind and handled things well. We received about 75% off the first night and a full refund for the second night, which we appreciated.

Overall, I’d rate this stay a 5/10. Not terrible, but definitely frustrating due to multiple communication issues and the lack of basic amenities.

A very nicely appointed fresh artistic property however when we arrived and Checked in we found the room had no air conditioning and it was warm and couldn’t cool the room - we were told it was because they were not allowed to turn on the air until seasonal. Temps improved. Then upon getting to the room again there was no warm water. They did offer a 59% off concession. Stuff happens

Overall, nice hotel, great location, cool and modern rooms with huge showers. No amenities which doesn’t bother me that much but it would be nice if they had a small bar maybe. The breakfast was a bit depressing and the shower could’ve been cleaned up a bit better, but I’m also a bit of a clean freak so most people wouldn’t have noticed; other than that - great place to stay, friendly staff, and overall a great hotel.

Parking is in a city ramp. Would be nice to get a discount or something for the stay but it is a secure ramp and literally right next to the hotel! Breakfast looked good but didnt make it down in time. The room was super nice and clean!

We were able to check in a little early without paying a fee. Staff was very nice. There was no hot water though throughout our entire stay. Front desk was aware and stated they had someone coming out to fix it but next day, it was still not fixed. Not the staffs fault hot water was broken but definitely not ideal. The room also didn’t have AC so it was 75 in our room the entire stay. Thankfully, our room didn’t face he sun and it wasn’t hot out so we could crack the windows. When we checked out we got 50% reimbursed for the no hot water issue, which was nice. I probably wouldn’t stay here again just because it wasn’t really what pictures had shown and the parking ramp behind the building doesn’t have a skywalk connecting, so we had to walk in the pouring rain with all of our stuff.

This was tough! The hotel ran out of hot water on Friday night, our stay was until Sunday. When we realized, we tried to call… the phone had no cord connected to the wall. We had to head down and ask what was going on. Mason was absolutely amazing, he handled every inquiry professionally, if it wasn’t for him I fear the outcome would have been worse. We had to turn the AC off because it was this loud metal cranking sound. Overall we didn’t shower for 2 days, we got a “refund”, breakfast was very sad, the phone didn’t work, the AC was broken, there is no parking and we got the “a mechanic is coming in 30minutes for about 24hrs. I would probably pause on staying here.

Parking is close by but separate from hotel. The rooms are really nice and spacious. It was a busy concert weekend and the heating/cooling wasn’t great, no hot water in the morning and our safe did not work.

The hotel has no onsite parking, but there is a parking garage right next door that was cheap and easy to use. Breakfast is grab and go muffins, cereal, toast. The hotel was a quick walk to the Target Center. We would definitely stay here again!

First time ever - no coffee at the continental breakfast and no effort by staff to do something about it. They did offer extra expresso pods for the room but no effort gets a real solution.

Also would have been helpful to know the main entrance was not on Hennepin, there were no signs indicating this.

The hotel was super clean. Love the decor. The person who checked us in. Was way too talkative and not really listening to what he was asking us as he would ask a question about something we already answered. Also was told the whole fee was now $75 not $50. The person said that that’s on their website. And it may have been but I’ve stayed at this place over three times and it’s always 50. So maybe something happened where they raised it. They were out of ice since Friday. So the water in the lobby was warm as well as the water at breakfast was warm. Also, they no longer have the Fuller continental breakfast. Maybe that’s why they have to feed to cover the breakfast. But all there was cold items not even bagels. I saw a piece of toast in a bag. Cereal, yogurt. Two eggs boiled. Orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice. Oh, and oatmeal. And some sort of cold waffle. I love the location, which is why I went here again and usually had a really good time here, but those things really stuck out to me as things that really mean a lot to customer customers. Probably won’t stay here again because of those things. But if you’re just looking for a nice clean, good looking place and not expecting anything else to go along with that you should definitely stay here.

The room was so nice and clean, and the check in was easy and fast. They mentioned the free grab and go breakfast, but when we went and stopped by, the buffet was not stocked at all and we only could choose from cold cereal or oatmeal packets. The people in front of us complained that they were out of toast, muffins and donuts. It wasn’t necessarily needed, but it would have been nice to have some breakfast, especially since they made a point of mentioning it.

We went to an event at the target center, nice safe walk. We across the street to an Irish Bar (can't remember the name but great friendly staff and pricing, good food. Staff at hotel very helpful all around. Will defiantly make another trip in spring/summer look like a nice outdoor sitting area.

The property never got back to me when I asked to adjust my stay when I messaged through Expedia. The hotel itself is nice and a decent room. However, the hotel and room smelled extremely bad as if it was a damp basement. Fairy disappointing overall.

The rooftop bar and court yard and outside bar were closed, we stayed on a Saturday night and were hoping for a nightcap near us. There is no mention of them not being open on the website. When we stayed 15 years ago it was a booming hotel with at filled walls and movies showing outside with a bar. There was no coffee available for the rooms and none in the lobby until 715. Very disappointed.

First time discovering of and staying at this boutique hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Easy check-in, followed by easy and affordable parking at a ramp a half-block away. Convenience and proximity to Orpheum Theatre was a plus.

Only bad experience--could not figure out how to turn that floor-lamp on.

This was our first time at The Chambers Hotel, and we were impressed. It’s upscale with immaculate, updated rooms. We appreciated that it was close to transportation and multiple dining options. Parking can be tricky so park in the ramp adjacent. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I recommend it and would certainly stay there again.

This is our 2nd time staying at The Chambers.
Location, location, location!
You can walk to the Target Center, many places to eat but still quiet!
The staff is TOP NOTCH, they go above and beyond to make your stay a \"home away from home\".
The rooms are lovely. The bed is comfy. The air worked very well. Nothing negative to stay.

This place had old apartment vibes. Super high ceilings and windows, which was amazing!!!! 2 bathrooms and tons of space, very nice! The courtyard was cool. Although it was on Hennepin Avenue, it was super quiet. The whole hotel was quiet.

Safe stopped working . Had Meds in it . Staff did not get it open until next morning. Lock smith had to break the door open. I felt like I was in jail all night. Very Very uneasy feeling until I got the beeb out of there.

It was a nice room. The main reason i booked this room was for the bath tub. Didnt get to use because the hot water never worked. And then the shower it was opposite. The showers cold water didnt work so i had to stand in corner of shower so i wouldnt get burned by scortching hot water! I rated it 2 stars because from desk checkout did at least refund me a portion of my booking back due to these issues. Otherwise it would have been a 1 for me. I will say it is very clean and staff are super sweet. But on the flip side if i pay over 400 dollars for 1 night for a room it would be nice if everything worked.
