Valerie
Beautiful hotel. Comfortable beds nice big bathroom with the tub and shower. The spa was incredible. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Elizabeth
Everything is top notch here and so convenient. With a bar inside the hotel and 2 restaurants you would never have to leave if you didn’t want to. Staff were exceptional, rooms were beautiful, food was great. Would go back there in an instant.
Bruce
Beautiful hotel and conveniently located down town Minneapolis .
Adrian
Everything was nice and clean. Staff was very accommodating.
John
The employees marching around the front door as we were leaving didn’t help. Sorry. One of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. Not the best location for a downtown hotel.
Jeanne
My room was clean. Had great food for breakfast by way of room service. Quiet hotel. Great beds. Everyone that works there is so nice. I stayed here for four days. I was doing something at the convention center. You can walk outside or by way of skyway.
Matthew
Beautiful hotel. Great spa.
Elizabeth
Super friendly staff. Great on-site food and drinks. Above average fitness center. Nice rooms. Quiet location. Great restaurants in walking distance. I’d stay there again anytime.

We stayed for our anniversary! Staff was so warm and friendly. It was perfect. Our dinner at BREVA was fantastic. Love the gym as well. We will be back! Thank you so much
Andrey
only thing good about this place is the staff and location, hotel itself not worth it
Evan
Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Friendly staff
Andrew
Room was nice and clean. Little bit of wall paper coming off in the bathroom. Room service breakfast was ok. Not hot and pancakes were dry and not enough syrup. Also took 45 min to get.
Spa and hotel were great!

Place is awesome!
Amber
The place was not clean, rooms were very small, no fridge or ice, definitely not worth the money.
Bryan
I am an active duty service member on travel orders and wanted the GSA rate. The hotel staff said this is not possible because I booked through Orbitz. They openly mocked my service with an insincere thank you for your service comment ridiculed with sarcasm. I would like a full refund and want the propery removed from Orbitz listing.
Larissa
Incredibly comfortable, quiet sleep. Excellent location.
Blake
Excellent, as expected.
Mark
Easy access to all convention center
Kiana
Loved the room and staff! We also booked a spa experience and I already can’t wait to go back. Would definitely recommend utilizing the spa so you can utilize all the amenities!!
Kathleen
The rooms were lovely and I appreciated having bottled water in my room every day.
Alex
Charged deposit twice and not refunded full amount
Jon
Very happy
My wife and I had a great stay, we enjoyed the room and views and we also took advantage of the in room service for breakfast. We visited the spa for a couples massage and were very impressed.
Toya
Great location, staff, and amenities!

Excellent place to stay!
Check-in was smooth. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was extremely friendly.
The rooms were amazingly clean and beautiful.

After check in I was sent a text message, which asked the anything I needed could be done through texts. Such a familiar way to communicate! WiFi, food, DoorDash, anything I asked was answered within 2 minutes! Only negative (and no big deal) was no ice buckets or ice machine! They did send some up to me, so that’s why this was no big deal.
Kirsten
They really went out of the way to make us feel special and that device was important.
brian
staff was extremely friendly and helpful
Keegan
I booked this stay for a friend for her birthday. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and gracious in making this a very special stay. I am particularly grateful for David at the front desk who did such a remarkable job and worked with me at every step of the way to make sure my friend's stay was special. I had a lot of questions and he was very patient and knowledgeable. Such amazing care and hospitality. My friend said the amenities were excellent, but for me, it's really about the staff, especially David, who were so, so kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend Hotel Ivy.

Couples Stay
Nice, overpriced for the property though. They really wanted to charge like a 5-star hotel, and it just wasn’t to that level. Still a nice place to stay if you don’t mind an extra fee for “everything.”
John
Good hotel-beware of reserving through Hotels.Com
The hotel was great but they weren’t able to give us the room that we requested because we used a 3rd party reservation company. I wish I knew that beforehand.
christopher
Very good staff

Would return

We visit Minneapolis regularly and ALWAYS stay at Hotel Ivy. The staff is so welcoming and nice, the valet service is fantastic and worth the money, and the rooms are perfect. We love the big bathtub, the robes, and the bed is very comfortable. Couldn’t say enough good things about this hotel. It also has the best gym you could imagine in a hotel.
Christia
Beautiful property with spacious rooms and lots of amenities! Will plan to stay here again!
Ronald

Excellent stay from an unassuming exterior.

Girls Staycation
Spent a girls day at the spa then stayed in the hotel. Was a lovely experience where the staff thought of everything! They are such a great place to celebrate any occasion!
Rachel
We Love The Ivy!
A friend and I booked a room at the Ivy as a treat while we were in Minneapolis for a hockey tournament and it did not disappoint! Probably the most attentive, professional and just plain sweet staff you could ask for from the valets / doormen to the front desk and restaurant staff. The building and our room were gorgeous, well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed delicious breakfast at Breva and had dinner one evening at Masa & Agave (we recommend the Tamarind and Classic Margaritas) where the food and staff were outstanding. It was just a fun and relaxing weekend that was upscale but not stuffy in any way. We will be back to stay again and highly recommend The Ivy to anyone staying in Minneapolis who wants an above and beyond hotel experience.
Nyala
Had a great short stay! Highlights were the staff and both restaurants within the hotel.
Mandy
It was ok. The ad to book property is inaccurate when it comes to having a spa/hot tub and sauna. To utilize these services it cost $450 per person and would need to be booked prior to arrival at least 5 days. I was unable to access these details until we arrived at hotel. The soaking tub was a nice amenity to have though. Clean room. The robes were unusable as they were crispy as an old towel that has not been washed. Not fluffy. For a luxury hotel that advertised these wonderful amenities,
They should have been luxury.

Excellent.
This place is amazing and when I come back I am def staying here.
James
We never stayed here. It was a bad reservation. Some kind of computer glitch
James
I've stayed at several MSP hotels over the years (ok maybe decades) and IVY is by far the most luxurious in terms of Quiet / Food / Room Decor and friendly staff. IVY is my 1st choice. Highly recommended !!!
Devan
Was amazing and treated very respectable
Corey
I have no complaints 😌
Aaron
No restock on amenities despite asking - no ice despite asking in person at the desk 4 times - no second bathrobe despite asking - honestly service was way short - baker got there $60 per day but didn't lift a finger to help with a cart to load or unload yet expected a tip - I will go anywhere but this property next time - it's actually a place ran by people that just don't care and at $400 per night - we deserve better
Anthony
No hot tub.

The Hotel Ivy team went above and beyond for our 11th anniversary celebration. We were greeted with welcome drinks at check-in, and the surprise anniversary amenities in our room (cake, Prosecco, and card) were such a thoughtful touch. Dinner at Masa and Agave was excellent, with outstanding service. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained.
However, our experience was significantly impacted by construction noise from the floor above, starting at 7 AM with drilling, pounding, and knocking. The AC/heating unit was also quite loud. For a hotel of this caliber, and especially during a special occasion stay, the early morning construction noise was disappointing and affected our rest.
That said, the staff's exceptional service and attention to detail show the hotel's true potential. We'd love to return and experience the Ivy without the construction disruption, as everything else about our stay was fantastic.

They messed up our massages. They charged us for an upgrade then didn’t do it. After a while they refunded it but did nothing to make up for it. The room service was horrible. They took 45 min longer than the hour they told us. If room service is going to take an hour then I’m fine with that but not if it’s almost double what time they told us. Then when it came the order was wrong.
Martin
Renting rooms knowingly with no heat again and again

Nice room.

The room is large... Cieling is high... Lots of volume, bathroom is big... Bath will take two. Good view of the city uppper floors. Be aware of third party reservation scams... If you think you are on the hotels web site... You might not be and will be charged a huge fee without warning... You will be unable to cancel as well.
Jennifer
Great service. The Valet was super friendly & working really hard.
Molly
We had a fabulous stay including room, staff and yummy dinner at Masa & Agave. Only one minor complaint, hotel said pet friendly. We had to walk a couple blocks to find a grassy area for our dog. I would still give hotel a high rating.

I went there for a meeting. The property is located very close to the convention center, making it very practical. Overall, a very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly. And particular, Patricia was very helpful.
Eric
Amazing friendly hospitable staff. Excellent property
Casandra
This hotel has the best customer service. The valet is so friendly and goes into the street to open my passenger door so I can get out without cars passing by me. The people at the front desk always have a smile to greet you and they are very accommodating. This is our go to hotel whenever we stay in Minneapolis!
Cheryl
Great service. Lovely rooms and lobby.
Tasha
Best hotel I've ever stayed at. If you're in between this and another hotel, please choose this one and you will not regret it.
The on site restaurants, in room amenities (alcohol options), room service with top notch guest service, quiet rooms with blackout curtains, the ambiance of the lobby. It is divine and was perfect for a extra special weekend spoiling ourselves. Thank you! Will come again.

The hotel does not provide quality service. The room and bathroom is not clean. I slept on the bed and had a reaction to the sheets, my skin kept itching.
Ashley
We very much enjoyed our stay at hotel ivy this past weekend and look forward to our next visit.

Staff is great.

Beautiful, clean room with a breathtaking view. Couldn't recommend more highly!
Savanna
Everyone was very helpful checking in and they helped make the stay memorable for my boyfriend’s birthday! Thanks so much to them!!

The property itself is fine. Things inside the room are getting a little beat up. I wouldn't necessarily rank it as \"luxury\".
I booked my 1 King Bed Superior Room a week in advance. At check in the guy at the desk said I was booked for a queen bed. I told him I booked a King. He said he would \"upgrade\" me to a double queen room! I then got out my confirmation and showed him I specifically booked a king. He said he'd \"see what's available\". After we said we'd just cancel he then found me a king...that I had booked! Im not sure what they were trying to do but I'll definitely be booking elsewhere for future downtown stays.

Everything was wonderful at the hotel ivy, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. If they get better more comfortable mattresses I would consider staying at the hotel again in the future….

Well Designed Rooms
Two day get away for my son and I. Nice property… not super fab luxurious but boutique(ish) and a solid 9.0. The best features are the oversized doors to the rooms and the drop ceilings with cove lighting above the beds. Both features give you the feel of much larger space. Well designed.
Verified traveler
Not worth the price.
The bed was awful! Super hard, not what we expected with what we paid for. Masa and Agave was excellent! The breakfast was really good and staff were all wonderful. Nice place but it’s aged and shows. The bench in our room was broken, stuff on the ceilings, paint touch ups were done horribly, the furniture was all aged and stained, bedding was torn. I don’t think we would have minded all the tedious stuff if the bed was comfortable, it really set us off.
George
All was good, but there was no coffee or coffee maker in the room. I would get out dizzy every day.
Dennis
Nice
Lydia
For rating and price, I expected more from the property. There wasn’t a great seating area in the lobby. We had spa appointments and was very disappointed in the cleanliness of that area and my massage.
Johnathon
I was quite disappointed that there isn’t a better deal for those who just want to use the spa ammenities. You have to book a full price spa service to use the spa amenities. Not even a discount for guests?
GFCI was broken in the bathroom. Be sure if you use valet, call like 15 min before (wait time was February on a Thursday imagine peak season). That’s if there is no one else is ahead of you
I wouldn’t have booked my stay knowing we can’t use the spa with out paying an extra min $100 each even just for an hour. There are other hotels that have these type of amenities included.

The staff was amazing and helped set up my proposal, couldn’t have had a better experience with Hotel Ivy and Masa & Agave. Thank you all so much!!:)

Very luxurious hotel
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was great. The valet parking is overpriced and there is parking across the street for $40 less. The water bottles in the room are not free, even if they don't have a price tag.

Close to the event we were attending

Bed was not comfortable and pillow were really flat. Bad service at front breakfast restaurant and basement Mexican restaurant. Extremely expensive hotel stay for sub par results.
Sara
Mattress was really firm.

Fruit flies were flying around in the bar. Light bulbs in the bathroom didn’t work when arrived. They were replaced promptly though. I was able to adjust the temperature only upon entry the first day, was super cold. Heard someone being robbed outside across the street. Waited 2 hours for the Masa restaurant to open at 5pm after told by staff, just to google that they didn’t open until Tuesday at 5pm.
Cynthia
The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. There was a big bathroom which included a nice tub. We enjoyed the bathrobe and slippers. They checked with us by text to see if we needed anything. Very professional and gracious.
Usha
The staff is so courteous and responsive. We were so happy to stay at a Ivy.
