The property is clean and well maintained given that it is an old building with a fun past! The hotel is located in the business part of downtown so it was quieter that other areas. The hotel staff was attentive. Mike is an EXCELLENT bartender and gave great recommendations for dinner options that were within walking distance.

We had a King Suite which I thought would be great since our teenage daughter was staying with us for a couple of the nights and could sleep on the sofa bed. However, there was no door dividing the two spaces which was a little odd. If this matters, ask the front desk for a Suite with a door.

There is a great exercise room if you lift weights or want cardio equipment. I wish there had been weights that were less than five pounds and yoga mats so I could have taken advantage of the space.

In the first room given, the AC didn't work, but they immediately gave us a bigger new room with good AC. However the view from the window is a narrow wall. But because we stayed only to sleep, it did not really matter.

We couldn't find the hair dryer, they gave one fast. Finally the original hair dryer was found in the drawer inside the bathroom.

We like the room is big.

The ammenities should be asked. Slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste were not provided in the room if we did not ask. Then we realized there was no shower cap either, but we were too lazy to ask.

The buffet breakfast menu was exactly the same for two days in a row, so we decided to go outside on the third day to find breakfast.

The rest is all good. The staffs are friendly, especially in the morning.

We got everything we came here for, so all is good.

The hotel was humid anywhere we went. Our air conditioning couldn't keep up. We were on the 2nd floor & our friends were on the 12 floor & had the same issues. Couldn't find an ice machine anywhere.

I was disappointed with my stay. The entire hotel was uncomfortably hot—the lobby, the hallways, and even the room. It never felt like there was adequate air conditioning anywhere in the building.

The rooms were also much smaller than expected. While there was an elevator to our floor, we still had to carry our luggage up another flight of stairs to reach our room. There was no elevator or ramp for that final section, which made getting luggage to the room very inconvenient.

Another disappointment was that there wasn’t a real refrigerator in the room. Instead, there was only a very small cooler that could barely fit two bottled waters, making it unusable for keeping drinks or leftovers cold.

Overall, the stay was uncomfortable and lacked several basic conveniences I expected. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, but several essentials were missing or not replenished during our stay. We found ourselves without items like toilet paper, washcloths, a hairdryer, and coffee pods when we needed them. While the front desk staff was accommodating, they appeared to be overwhelmed.

Sprinkler was rusted, door hinges were rusted, lightings flickered, outlets sparked when plugging in a phone charger, the front door didn't open when you press the wheelchair button, and the disability transfer elevator right next to the stairs is horrible. There's not enough space to fit a wheel chair. I had to pick up the back just to get her to find inside. She also hurt her hand on the door because it's such a tight fit

The Hyatt Centric was located in the heart of downtown and was especially close to The Armory and some great restaurants. The room was spotless, the bathroom had both a shower and tub and they sparkled. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. Staff was always available and super helpful. The bartender was friendly and made a great martini. We did not use parking, the gym, or take advantage of the breakfast option.

The hotel was very quiet, which was great. The bar was ridiculously quiet, which was strange. No ambiance at all. I think the bar doubles as the restaurant, I never saw a restaurant. No one ever there. The bartender was friendly and provided great service. I ordered room service one night and it was the bartender that delivered it. I think he's kind of a one man show. It was fine but if you're looking for a lively , happy hour or music or anything going on at your hotel, look elsewhere. The food was ok. Maybe the bartender cooked too? Lol. It was very clean and comfortable. Great location.

Beautiful boutique hotel in in Minneapolis. Clean. Helpful staff. Delicious food at the restaurant onsite. I parked at the Capella Tower. Make sure to have the hotel staff validate the parking ticket. This will reduce the cost to $20 per day. Because of it's location in the financial district, the streets will be busy until dinner time. Be aware of frequent ambulance sirens given the proximity to major hospitals. Walking distance to major attractions. On-site gym was nice.

The property itself, lobby area, and rooms are very nice, with plenty of space. The rooms are well laid out and I particularly liked the species bathroom including a nice deep tub. My only concerns were: 1. My room was extremely dark and got almost no natural light despite being on the top floor. 2. Housekeeping was not as thorough as I would like. 3. My room was pretty noisy despite being on a high floor at the end of the hallway.

Good location, friendly and helpful front desk. What sold me on this property was the featured 6000 square foot fitness center so I was disappointed to learn that it was turned into a ballroom a month ago. The pics are still in their marketing material which I think is very misleading. We stayed for 5 nights and only received housekeeping services for one night and that was only after we asked at the front desk, \"isn't housekeeping usually included?\" The front desk was very accommodating with our luggage storage requirements.

The room was clean and the staff was very nice. But the bar closed early every night, your parking was across the street and it’s not even Hyatt’s. You have to go through a different hotel to the parking garage. The room service breakfast wasn’t great at all. I did like the bathroom set up though and the robes were comfy. Overall it was ok but I might look elsewhere just because it’s not exactly what I was expecting from a Hyatt.
