Amazing place. I enjoyed the city view. Finding parking at the hotel is hard at times due to other events happening. Location is close to lots of attractions! Biggest con for me was that the shower door kept sliding open when showering. Overall, great location, friendly staff and I would stay here again.

I have made a report to my bank regarding this property for fraudulent charges. My closing statement was 102 dollars for parking and a cocktail and I received documentation for it. However, upon reviewing my credit card account, I discovered that I was charged an additional 502 dollars for nothing. I plan to call them to ask for a refund.

I definitely would not consider this hotel upscale, and had I known it was part of Choice Hotels, I would have stayed in their standard brand hotels and saved a lot of money. The lobby smelled unpleasant upon entering, it is really loud - and I don't mean downtown noise. The room next to kept slamming their door and someone was stomping from 12 am to as early as 5 am. The bathroom was nice and the bed was decent, but the fitted sheet was scratchy and the floor definitely could have been cleaner. There is no way to reach the front desk. They have a text system but it is limited with responding. They don't even have complimentary coffee and water, either, and upon checking out, the desk person didn't even ask me about my stay. They may as well make it 100% contact-less (remove the humans at the desk). If you want upscale and better customer service, there are better options like the Elliott Park Hotel.

The hotel was excellent! The only thing that I noticed that I didn't like was the air conditioner in my room was weak. My room would not go below 76 degrees F. Only on the last day did it go to 72 degrees F. It was odd but I would imagine the room would be unbearable if the temps were in the 90s vs 70s.

The shower was abysmal. Long dark hairs in the shower which definitely weren’t ours. The shower door kept sliding open unless you wedged something in it. Which is apparently a well known problem by the staff. The ironing board literally fell apart. The iron left some kind of weird residue on my dress, probably because it either hasn’t been properly cleaned in a while or it doesn’t have distilled water in it or both. The desk staff are very nice though. They were the best part of the stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Cambria downtown Minneapolis. It was the perfect place to stay and walk to the baseball game at Target Field. The staff was wonderful and pleasant. Our bartender was excellent and the drinks were very well made. If we ever go back to Minneapolis, we will definitely stay here. The only issue we had, was we received a parking ticket, even though we paid for parking. However, we spoke to the front desk and they took care of the problem.

So, when I got to my room I saw that there were old nuts and pills on the floor, under the bed by the window. The beds have a wooden platform so there is no real bed space under, just the overhang of the bed. That kind of grossed me out for the rest of my stay, but I didn’t feel like making an issue of it. The pills looked like ibuprofen tablets. The other issues I had was the complimentary toiletries. The lotion that is left by sink looked half full. Gross. Didn’t use that. Then when I took shower the attached shower gel container was empty. So I used the bar soap.
I expected just a little bit better. Staff working the front desk was really friendly and kind.

I wish you guys had baby cribs, lots of parents are traveling with kids under the age of 1. Other than as well i wish. You guys had like an actual restaurant or dining room where you service breakfast, the prices of the hotel is a bit high for you guys not to have free breakfast included, a pool, or any baby cribs. We well we got charged an extra $100 upon arrival and nowhere in the booking info did it say anything about an extra $100 “just incase of room damages” so that should be stated beforehand because not everyone has an extra $100, as well that is misleading.

The hotel itself was great, and the staff was wonderful. However, the parking lot appeared to have a large number of homeless individuals staying there, which made the experience less comfortable. We also received a parking ticket on our last night, despite providing our license plate number to the front desk upon check-in. We were told the ticket should be cleared, but it was unclear why it was issued in the first place.

I have never left a bad review anywhere and was trying to send a message directly to the staff but its pushing me here. We accidentally screwed up the dates, I was gone from my room working all day and evening and came back late to find out they had packed (terribly) up all my things and vacated the room without ever calling or checking in. They lost my phone and computer charger in doing so. Came back late to find someone else in \"My room\". They obviously had other room available and I then had to book another night. Was a MASSIVE pain in my travels, had to order and have new chargers sent / delivered late night so I could even charge my phone so I could have an alarm for my early morning flight and boarding pass. I was a simple mistake that could have been easily resolved with a phone call. That was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room and hotel was totally fine, I had actually been complementing it for the cost to friends earlier that day. But sadly them removing all my things from the room and jamming all my things into the bag was such a mess. I even had a suit pressed for a wedding and it was all just jammed into bags and was a terrible mess. Very very unfortunate. Have never left a bad review anywhere but that was a terrible experience especially when I had to be up in just 6 hours to catch a flight.

The shower was kind of gross. Hair in the showing. Other than that clean. Not very happy with the $30 parking. I feel as tho parking should be included. Then the same lot i parked in is $5 if you pay through the parking place vs the hotel. Kind of a scam if you ask me. I asked about it and they said that they charge different prices even tho it’s the same lot. The hotel charges more. The staff was very nice tho. We liked the snack place downstairs very convenient.

We didn’t like the location of the unsecured parking near a large homeless population. The price was double had we paid using the app. Our room was small but took care of our needs. Mattress was a deep dive into the center so rest did not come easy.

Get ready to be around Staff that are ready to kick you out for no reason and think they always right other than that room was decent but the experience wasn’t.

Check-in was easy and the front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean, spacious, with comfy beds and plenty of towels. This hotel is conveniently located near Target Field, and lots of food options within walking distance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I was charged a smoking fee and it was removed. Hear me out now, this experience was Unacceptable, wrong, and unprofessional. considering I DID NOT SMOKE IN THE ROOM, I WENT OUTSIDE IN THE PARKING LOT. The failure to inform me of the $400 attempted fee for something I did NOT do (even though it was removed) is disrespectful. A simple phone call and apology would have been the least you could do instead of not communicating with me at all.

Affordable hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Close to Target Center if attending an event there. Close to transit so easy to get around. Fridge and microwave in room was helpful.

I liked that the property was clean, and location was in downtown and near expressways. I was not pleased with the ambiguity of late checkout times (we will not know until 8am the following morning). Secondly, the only place to secure ice was on the 2nd FL, and we were on FL5. finally, I sensed an overall reluctance and inflexibility to being accommodating as possible, Overall, this was my first and last stay at this hotel.

Got there late the bar was open until midnight. The room was really cool and the best bed I have slept in a while. The shower was really nice and the mirror had bluetooth speaker in it. The rating isnt 5 because the parking was hard and the entrence wasnt clear. There is construction so not thier falt, but still.

The person who checked me in was very unfriendly - didn’t return my greeting, wouldn’t make eye contact or answer my questions, didn’t give me any information about the property - just thrust my keys at me and pointed to the elevator. Another guest had to show me how to use my key to get to my floor. There was no clock in the room at all, and the phone didn’t work. The room was clean but everything looks really cheap and the whole place looks like it was built in two weeks. I had to run a fan sound on my phone because you can hear every hiccup from the hall. It’s cheap compared to other hotels but there are reasons for that, I guess.

Well, upon checking in they gave me a room someone was already in. Embarrassing! The new room was clean and nice though. Parking is $30/ nightly which is insane to me especially given the area the hotel’s location is in. Only had 1 issue with one staff member. He wasn’t the best. Security they have over night was nice.
