It felt like a nice hotel until we got to the room which was just OK, except the bathroom was rather disappointing. The curved shower curtain rod was installed improperly or worn out and leaning down such that the shower curtain kept falling towards the center allowing water to easily escape the shower on the sides. The showerhead had lots of buildup and had clearly not been cleaned recently; it also sprayed hard and remarkably wide, which exacerbated the aforementioned problem with the curtain rod. The toilet bowl was stained. It would have felt on par with peers if the complementary internet service was capable of basic streaming capabilities, but it was really quite weak and I ended up falling back to the Netflix service provided through the Hotel's TV interface.

I decided to spend more on a room this visit and i was extremely disappointed. The bed was the worst, you could feel springs and had a rubber mattress cover. I expected more from a hilton. The bathroom light was out so i had to stand in front of the windows to put on my makeup. Never anyone at the front desk . And, my room wreaked of cat pee, so someone had a cat in the room.
If i would have asked for a different room but there was never anyone at the desk.
I was so disappointed after spending $500 for 2 nights.

The room was dark? We had 3 girls getting ready for a concert and only a single sink. The glasses were dirty or severely water spotted. The TV kept turning off, and then took 10 minutes to restart? At 8am housekeeping was knocking on our door? This woke up me and all the kids. Considering the price I paid for one night, I will try somewhere else next time!

It’s a great hotel with wonderful staff, but there is very little within walking distance. Had hoped to do some shopping but after driving to find someplace to shop, everything was closed. If you are a hotel snob who lives on room service and the exercise room, it’s just great. For me, however, give me a place with vending machines and a simple microwave located near a bustling shopping mall, not an artwork in the middle of nothing and nowhere. Come on, Minneapolis, you can do better (the city, not the hotel).

Suggestions would be to have more signage tied to exiting underground parking. Longer shower curtain to prevent water on floor.

Only thing missing is a microwave

Love the area and staff are amazing. Only complaint is that a microwave would be nice to have. Other than that, room was very comfortable!

For the price we would UBER home next time.

The room was clean, the mattress was a bit saggy for our taste and the bar food was subpar. The hotel was nice and quiet.

Our room had a very musty smell to it. We also ate dinner at the hotel. Our food and service was HORRIBLE!!!! Chicken was raw and one of the guest in my party got food poisoning WOULD NOT recommend.

Nice property. Friendly staff. The fan in the bathroom runs continuously and has a bad belt bearing or something. very poor night sleep as the sound from the bathroom sounded like two birds fighting.

Stayed here to attend an event at the US Bank stadium. From check in to check out our stay was excellent. It was the fastest check in I have ever experienced. What was a plus was adding parking at check in and using room key to get in and out of the parking lot and not having to keep track of another receipt.
Also, son got sick in middle of the night and I had called down to guest services and within ten minutes had another blanket and back to bed. It was nice when you walked in the room it had a clean smell. Great location! Would stay here again!

Check in was fast and easy. The front desk agent was very nice and friendly. Didn’t catch his name unfortunately but the customer service was great. No valet but they had a parking lot available to guests and plenty of street parking (meter) around the corner.

Not a 4 star hotel

How did this hotel got 4 star rating?? Our room was on 6th floor there was no water pressure, just enough to push it up to the showerhead, after that water just trickles down. Tried at 7pm and 6 am - same story. Everything in that bathroom just unpleasant - towels were small and scratchy, one wall is a matte glass with clear panels on top and bottom and on the other side is an entry hall, glossy grey vinyl wallpaper on the wall, the creepiest photo of woman's face over the toilet. I really relied on Hotels.com rating, and how bad could be a 4 star hotel?? Ok, room was larger but there was no place for a dresser with drawers, just huge bench for suitcases. Beds were comfy but décor and carpet are dirty gray-brown, like design was intended quirky and industrial, but came out cheap, weird and drab. What rooms are repeat guests with 5 star reviews stay - ours wasn't one of them.

Humor to Fight the Tumor Weekend!

The hotel itself was beautiful. The upscale lobby and rooms made for a very luxurious experience before an important fundraising event for a family member.

The one downside was the noise going late into the night. While I know that people will be staying out late in a downtown setting, the loud noise outside our room at 3:00 am - 4:00 am made it difficult to sleep.

For the cost of this hotel I would expect daily room cleaning, rather than by request only. I would also expect in-room dining from the restaurant in the hotel; the food is pick-up or dine-in only. The doors are extremely heavy and make a loud noise when shut; this kept me up throughout the night with people coming and going. The hotel signage is confusing. It is labelled on the tower as The Depot, Residence Inn and on the awnings in front labelled as the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing would be to be sure you figure out what room you’re in and where it’s at before you park. We were told to park anywhere in the large lot and you’ll find your way to your room … well yes this is true.. but we parked and went inside one of the doors (our key fob got us in) and had loads of baggage wandering trying to find our room. We finally saw someone and asked and they said we were in the “2nd hotel part” - we needed to be in the front part. So we ended up walking awhile to find our room etc.
Great stay! Just ask specifically about where your room is compared to the middle large parking lot.
