Incredible Stay, front desk was very hospitable, amenities available late into the evening, very stylish rooms and building. Loved it
Paul
Such a warm and friendly staff from check in to check out. Went above and beyond to help when our plane was late.
Connor
Great hotel with a very cool vibe. No complaints; we would definitely stay here again.
Anna
We had the AC on the lowest setting at 65 and it was still muggy in the room. Definitely wasn’t working properly, and the hallway was hot too so perhaps an issue on the entire floor. The onsite Starbucks was also closed for the week for renovations. Honestly the main reason I stayed there was the convenience of having coffee right there. Disappointing and unimpressed with the hotel
Charles
Clean room & beds OK ...
Budd
Close meaning in the heart of the U of MN and surrounded by the stadiums. with access to the light rail and bus directly in front of the hotel.

Hotel is literally in the University of Minnesota campus so it was super convenient, rooms are spacious and clean and beds are very comfortable, the loony is very nice and they have free lemonade and popcorn and there is a chic filet and Starbucks right downstairs and a Dunkin across the street, I also tried their restaurant and liked it a lot, highly recommend for U of M parents
Stacy
Our room was clean and staff were nice. The beds were extremely firm and the bedding was stiff.
Kaylena

Fantastic ambience. You wonder sometimes if you’re at a hotel or a lecture hall. Super convenient location. To the university, to restaurants, accessible to public transit.
Erin
We absolutely love our stay at the Graduate! The staff was amazing so happy and helpful. The whole theme of Mn was a treat! We highly recommend it!
Hilal
We had a happy experience at the graduate Minneapolis. Courteous staff, wonderful amenities, great location. Thank you!
Michael
Always wonderful service here
Jenna
Great stay. Staff was very friendly.
Elizabeth
Did not clean the room the icemaker were not working for the amount that we paid the service was poor
Nicole
The hotel was located right off the metro line making it a quick trip from Union Depot and extremely convenient for traveling to other locations in the city. The room was clean and quiet during the night. The staff were all polite and pleasant to interact with.
Susan
The Graduate is always a fun place to stay with a lobby that welcomes nearby college students with a big fireplace, air hockey, study tables, etc. Unfortunately, although we were there for 3 days, we received no maid service, none. The main thing we wanted was a replenishment of our meagre coffee supplies (instant coffee only in the room, no free coffee in the lobby). The room was large and clean with nice bedding. The decor is fun, but we need more than that to pay premium rates.
Taunya
The room was well furnished. The restaurant was ok but the service was slow.
BARRY
The breakfast was only Luke warm
Darla
It was a clean motel, which probably reflects on being overpriced. You will also have to pay a fee nightly to park near the Graduate Motel. Otherwise you can park across the block in a parking ramp, which also costs. My family stayed down the street at The Hampton for a cheaper cost and they had breakfast included with their stay.
Jamella
I will never stay anywhere else after traveling to Minneapolis several times for family vacation and my son attending the U. This is a great hotel! Beautiful, and to top it off, Starbucks is attached.
Ann Marie
Our stay was great! The hotel always does an amazing job accommodating guest.
Gladys
I highly recommend. Love the couches in the Libby. Staff were extra helpful and attentive. Fresh popcorn was a smart touch.
Cheri
Yes Breakfast is great

Decent place to stay convienent to campus
S
We were told that even though we paid for breakfast with our reservation, it was only $22 per person and therefore we would be charged for anything above $22. This after I confirmed with the host that we had breakfast included with the reservation and she instructed us that we could choose one item and a drink. They tallied up all our breakfast for 5 days and would only give $22 per person. I was informed that I was misunderstanding and mistaken, and that I didn’t understand the language or small print It was only after a lot of back and forth that I was able to take those charges off. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful. You have to buy your own water as the hotel does not supply that like some hotels do. The restaurant on site is ok in terms of food choices and flavors.
Traci
Love the location and overall feel at The Graduate. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Daniel
Customer service was grade A just a little pricey
Tracie

Everything about it was great! Perfect place to stay when visiting the University.
Melissa
Nice hotel bar with lots of TVs
Sheryl
Perfect stay & ideal location
Michael G
Lovely staff and comfortable stay.
Maria
I just wish I knew when hotels stopped having microwaves in rooms. Its annoying to walk back and forth to the lobby to use it. But this is all hotels anymore. Aside from that this is a lovely hotel and I would stay again should I ever return to the area.
Sue
The beds were uncomfortable. We were charged a parking fee that we were never told about. Too expensive
Catherine
What a great hotel located right in Stadium Village on the University of Minnesota campus! It is walking distance to the start of campus tours and the Gopher stadium. I love that U of M students can also use the space to study and relax. Starbucks and Chick-fil-A and a nice restaurant are all in the same building. Great place. Loved it! 5 stars!
Melissa
The hotel room smelled musty and the AC barely worked. Otherwise, the staff was amazing. If you book through Expedia; however, you do not get any of your Hilton Diamond benefits nor do you get points for your stay - I'd book direct.
Michael Todd
Great location.
Thomas
Good room
Daniel
Clean room, comfy beds (small tho), staff was great, restaurant had great food! Definitely will stay again.
Kelly
Great location, incredibly friendly staff.
Kawalpreet
No breakfast
Cynthia
Property is very nice. Some paint peeling. Parking is expensive and limited. Park in the ramp next door. Air conditioning only turns down to 65, but I don’t think it ever reached that.
Casey
The restaurant was great. The lobby was always busy with lots of students milling around. Not clear that these students were even staying at the hotel
Ann
Pleasant stay. Staff very friendly especially Nick at the bar in the restaurant.
Nathan

First class hotel
Rebecca
The hotel is well located and attractive. They don’t tell you in advance that you may not be able to park in their lot (with in-and-out privileges) and may have to park in the UM deck instead.
Water pressure left something to be desired.
It was crowded and hard to catch an elevator.
Lots of high school kids stayed for competitions while we were there and it was very loud. They congregated in the halls without regard to other guests.

Room was great. Bed was comfortable, variety of pillows, and they had the single best black out blinds/curtain combo I have ever experienced in any hotel and I travel a lot. Really thoughtful staff.
brandi lee
Absolutely amazing
AJ
The concept is great, location is exactly where you think it is. The staff is fantastic, the food is great if a bit expensive, honestly we'll be back
Steven
Was sad to see many cancel rooms from the chaos 12 arrests to clear out agitators but baricades removed from the perimeter and empty hotel remains top tier 😢 and a broken front rotary glass entrance for absolutely no reason....great place and paid protesters leaving a pathetic pathway
Michael
Excellent staff
Stacey
The room was very nice, the location was convent and the price was comparable to other hotel options. I do have a few complaint, one issue was the thermostats in the room. It was either running all the time and increasingly getting hot in the room at night even though I turned it down to 69. The other misfortune was the events on Wednesday Jan 27 and lack of what was going on at the hotel with the police presences, boarded up first floor and barricades out front. I felt if I was receiving texts to see how my stay was going, I surely should have received a text about the anticipated events taking place around the Graduate hotel ground along Washington street and front parking lot. Lastly, service in the Beacon was suboptimal. I waited over 20 minutes for a server to even approach me on Jan 26 and then when she did bring me a menu and took my order, she never once came back to see if I needed anything after bring the meal out from the kitchen. When I was ready for the bill, I again waited close to 20 minutes and finally asked the hostess if she could check me out.
CURTIS
The room is so well decorated with pictures, wallpaper, furnishings. The lobby is very comfortable and relaxing. I love staying here
Serra
Would have given 5 stars if we hadn't been woken up at 1am by protesters screaming outside our window for 45 min. Otherwise room was comfy and restaurant was great, would eat there again!
Melanie
The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We liked the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.
Terrence
Very nice staff in the lobby, the security was professional and courteous. Loved the paintings throughout! Immaculate rooms and comfortable beds. Will definitely return and stay.

Molly
Room was clean and really liked the decor. Nick, the bartender was great.
Rosemarie
The hotel is in a great location. We were there to attend the world junior games. Walking distance to the arena. Green line across the street and took it to several spots of interest. The restaurant on site had a good selection of food but had the best margarita ever.
Katherine
The room was clean and comfortable.
Very quiet, no noise in the hallways or from the nearby rooms.
Christian at the front desk was very personable and helpful!

As always very clean and staff is very nice.

I reserved a room with a king bed for my husband and myself, but was told at the property at check-in that only rooms with two doubles were available. We were tired and still chilled from traveling in Minnesota wintertime, so accepted the room, which was at the end of a very, very long hallway on the fourth floor. Unfortunately, the thermostat and heater unit did not work properly and the room stayed at 58 degrees. The front desk attendant reluctantly gave us a different room, which was on the third floor immediately beneath the permafrost room. That room’s thermostat only toggled between “off” and “auto,” and the temp did not get above 61 degrees. We were exhausted by then so just pulled all of the blankets from the other bed and pretended we were camping in the north woods in winter.
The front desk attendants at check-in and check out seemed indifferent but said they would let the maintenance team know. We were offered a couple of snacks from the sundries shop at check-out for our trouble.
We’ve stayed at this Graduate hotel and one other several times before, and this experience was disappointing. We will be staying at a different hotel next time.
