It's okay I guess if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep, but I've stayed in nicer places for about the same price. You can tell the rooms, even though they are clean, are given the bare minimum maintenance wise. The bathroom light sometimes just didn't turn on, the carpet is pulled up at certain areas, the bathroom wall looked torn in certain parts. And I have a large fear of mice, so seeing easily accessible cracks and stuff definitely makes me paranoid. It's okay if you need just the bare minimum of bed and a very small bathroom though. The vending machine on the mainfloor had a lot of nice stuff

Avoid this hotel — car break-ins ignored, no accountability

I stayed at this hotel and my car window was smashed and my belongings stolen, along with 30-40 other guests’ vehicles in the same incident. This happened overnight, and even cars parked right in front of the entrance — including mine — were not spared.

What’s most disturbing is that this was NOT an isolated incident. Talking to police and other affected guests the next morning, I learned the same thing had already happened the Wednesday before I arrived. The hotel knew about a prior break-in spree in their own parking lot and said absolutely nothing to guests. No warning, no extra security, nothing. They let dozens more cars get hit because they couldn’t be bothered to tell people their parking lot wasn’t safe.

When I asked staff directly if they would take any responsibility, I was told they would “talk to the police” — as if that undoes the damage or explains why they hid a known, repeated security problem from paying guests. No compensation, no discount, not even a basic gesture of goodwill was offered to any of the affected guests I spoke with. It’s clear customer experience and guest safety are not priorities here.

If you value your vehicle and your belongings, park elsewhere or stay elsewhere. I would not trust this property to protect your property or to be honest with you if something goes wrong

The room was ok. Beds were much smaller than expected. They seemed to be full size not Queen as advertised. Exterior security was nonexistent! 30 vehicles had their windows broken out overnight! It was suggested to my husband this was not the 1st time. Needless to say we left the next morning. Won't be staying there again.

The provided breakfast had low or no stock on many items, there was no staff available to clean the room on 1 of 4 days, a number of cars were broken into in the parking lot and there were a number of nights that we didnt get much sleep due to other patrons arguing and or fighting all hours of the night.

The front counter staff was very friendly.

When I decided to leave before our pre-paid reservation ended the manager was kind, understanding and helpful.

The location of this hotel is prime! Its in the heat of UofM stadiums and is very nice.

This is not a hotel - it is a motel/inn. Our room set up is odd. The door opens right to the beds and the bathroom is at the end of the room. This setup allows us to hear everything outside the door (we are on the ground floor so lots of foot traffic). The toilet needs to be flushed twice in order to flush completely. The bathroom is extremely small and worn. Really expensive for the quality of the inn but it was during convocation ceremony season. Great proximity to university campus. Will not stay again.

My rental car was stolen in broad daylight, at about 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon. I was notified by university police - no one from the hotel thought to communicate it to me? And the camera footage of the incident “can’t be reviewed” for a full 4 days after the incident occurred, despite the fact that police need the footage to pursue an investigation. I am beyond disappointed in how this situation was handled and will never stay at a Days branded hotel ever again.

We stared here partly based on the breakfast reviews, now I don't know about most travelers but I don't consider cold cereal and toast as a excellent breakfast. That was what their breakfast consisted of, and of course coffee, juice, etc. The desk clerk that checked us in was less than friendly, but all the other staff were interacted with were very friendly. The room was clean, but it was the first hotel I've stayed at with no clock radio, plus our tv had a terrible picture, also the first hotel I've stayed at with no movie channels at all, only local channels and the Fox channel was just static, not a clear picture. It was very busy and they only had one working elevator for a busy six story hotel, very aggravating. Also the rooms need updating imo, didn't like the totally laminate floors throughout, I understood from a cleaning standpoint, but not from a comfort one. The good thing is parking was great so long as you put the paper they give you on your dashboard, or I bet you'll get towed.

I appreciated the safety measures and the calm, quiet feel of the lobby and hotel overall. The room was clean and comfortable. It was clear it's not a new or luxury hotel but was it had a pleasant atmosphere overall. However, the breakfast was clearly just the minimum to be able to call it a breakfast. It didn't open until 7; the choices were cold cereal, oatmeal packets, or white bread/toast. Small cups of yogurt and apples apparently were supposed to round out this \"breakfast\". Beverages were halfway decent - coffee, milk, and some weird-tasting orange juice, plus a couple of other juice options I didn't try. I was disappointed and would have preferred no breakfast was offered, so I could have brought something more palatable to eat in my room.

The room is small and exceedingly dated. This is an old Days Inn that is in desperate need of updates. Barely any working outlets. Old carpet. But the worst is the bath and shower. Tiny. And forget about taking a shower. The water pressure is absurdly low. Someone spitting on me would have been better. But on the plus side there is no hot water so it really wakes u up. We stayed, over night, and were rather disappointed. We had been here about 10 years ago, and because we did not have any complaints then, we rebooked for this stay. When you arrive, even in the middle of the afternoon, you have to push a buzzer to enter. We had to wait 15 minutes to get checked in. The toilet was an inch or two lower than the edge of the tub, and I had to use the tub wall to help me climb off the stool and the first time we flushed, it backed up. My husband complained because certain of his parts hit the water when he sat down. The toilet paper roll kept popping off the holder because the left side was loose and the moment you pulled on the paper the roll fell on the floor. The room seemed clean, but the floors were vinyl plank, so they were cold, the microwave clock had not been reset to Daylight Savings Time, the left hand faucet knob squeaked (you could hear it across to the far corner of the bedroom). When we arrived for breakfast, the only warm things were coffee and toast. We saw dry cereal, toast, yogurt, and juice. We didn't see hot water for tea. The Dining area was so small that if everyone we saw gathering their breakfast had tried to sit down, there would not have been nearly enough room. We have been in 17 hotels this last year, and I'd say this one was the worst.

First, the positives:
It was the most convenient hotel to the people I was visiting.
It was clean.
It was safe.
The staff was friendly.
The fitness center had a treadmill.
Now, the negatives:
This hotel is in serious need of upgrading.
The carpet in my room was shot- it literally had holes in spots because of wear.
The TV remote didn't work.
The sink hot water handle was resistant and creaked when turned.
The shower handle was so hard to operate they had literally posted instructions on the wall above it, and it was still almost impossible to adjust it to the temp I wanted.
The picture of the complimentary breakfast (with hot trays for eggs, bacon, etc.) was nothing like what was actually offered. The only \"hot\" food was the white bread you could toast. When someone asked the staff what happened, they said it had been \"discontinued for the season.\"
