Good location

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The room itself was not well maintained—we found mold in the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel.
Another major inconvenience was that there were no easily accessible water refill stations. Every time we needed to refill our water bottles, we had to go all the way down to the gym floor, which became frustrating very quickly.
The Wi-Fi situation was another disaster. We couldn’t connect at all, and there were no instructions provided at check-in or in the room. When I called the front desk for help, the staff seemed completely clueless. Instead of offering a solution, I was told that an engineer could possibly come by the next morning to assist us. Seriously, how hard should it be to help guests connect to Wi-Fi?
The food service was just as frustrating. Around 9:30–10:00 PM, we tried ordering two grilled cheese sandwiches. We were first told to order online, but when we tried, the website gave us an error because online ordering had apparently already closed. We then went downstairs, only to be met with a rude bartender who was unhelpful and dismissive. After being sent in circles just trying to order something as simple as grilled cheese, we gave up and canceled our order.
Overall, between the mold, the lack of convenient amenities, the Wi-Fi issues, and the poor customer service, this was a very frustrating stay. I expected much better and would not choose to stay here again.

Love the security and friendly staff.
Shandon
Friendly front desk staff. We were able to check in a little early and offered a high floor, which was nice. The omelets in the morning and the evening reception drinks were awesome. The fitness center was nice too. I enjoyed the Peloton bike.
India
The staff was not nice - especially the bartender during the happy hours. The room had a stale scent to it and the floors sloped. The breakfast attendants were really nice and the check in staff were okay. Not super friendly but not helpful either - they often walked away from the desk.
jessica
My kids called this hotel \"fancy\"... overall I liked the set up, the breakfast was out of this park, and staff was nice. Downside was parking, and no hot tub. Overall the price, breakfast, and how nice the rooms were made this a five star!
Walter
Room and location were great. Continental breakfast was amazing. Could have used a room cleaning more than once during our stay. And as mentioned by others, parking is difficult or expensive. Otherwise a great experience!

Best place to stay in downtown Minneapolis
Michael
Great experience
Debra
Great place to stay. Close to Twins stadium and great restaurants. We love the Lyons Pub, next door. Great food and amazing staff. Embassy stands behind their service. We stayed a few months ago and didn't have blankets on the pull out couch for in our grandson. We called and they never delivered bedding. The GM compensated us for our inconvenience. Great place!
Kenneth
Parking fees are outrageous for what you get: you go in basement to pick it up, closed at 11 or 12. Got in late and to park on the street. Left early and security had to get the vehicle from the park area.
Angie
Breakfast was great. Happy hour was great. Would stay again!

Overall the stay was great. A busy weekend (Pride Parade) so more working elevators would have been helpful.
Joseph
I love the location.
Melanie
Pool closed early every night we were there, 6 elevators and only 4 working for 13 floors. Waited 10-15 min for one that was open cuz the hotel was so busy. Had TP in our lamp over the couch when we checked in. Burn hole in back of couch but other than that it was a good stay!
Jose
Good!

Clean, convenient location, great continental breakfast, and free happy hour drinks make this hotel a great value.

Property was nice... parking at the hotel was expensive!!!
TAMMY
Rooms were very fresh and clean. Easy access to the surrounding area which met all of our needs and even able to explore new adventures. Breakfast was AMAZING! and superb friendly staff! Great way to start your day and the Bar was nice and quaint. My family and I had an amazing time. THANK YOUS. AND WE WILL BE BACK!
Paul
The rooms offer a microwave, which is great if you want to heat a ready meal, however they dont supply you with any knives or forks etc. No kettle, only a coffee machine to get hot water which isn't much good if you are having a tea, as water reservoir is very small. Cardboard cups are provided in the room but is not changed regularly. The breakfast, which is free is good but would be nice if they offered gluten free bread and maybe lactose free milk or substitute milk if you have an intolerance. We had a very deep window behind our headboard and noticed it was thick with dust and had not been cleaned for along time. Some staff very helpful, but while we were waiting for our taxi in lounge area we were aware of a young member of staff walking around with phone in hand not doing anything, just walking around in circles for at least 20 minutes, this did not give a very good impression of hotel and we found it quite annoying
Jeremy
Highly recommended
Brett
My stay at the property was excellent overall. The room was exceptionally clean, well‑maintained, and comfortable, creating a relaxing environment throughout the visit. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, well‑prepared, and offering a great variety to start the day strong.
The only drawback was the significant street noise, which was noticeable during the late evening and early morning hours. While it didn’t ruin the stay and it was out of the hotel's control, it is worth noting for the light sleepers.

Great place, we'll stay again.

I have a group of 15-20 that stay here once or twice a year for events and we are always happy with our stay. Great location, nice reception, GREAT breakfast with custom order omelets - rooms are spacious and clean, staff is always incredibly nice & accommodating.
Susan
Everything was great. Room Hallways were a little dark.
Shelle
We always love the Embassy!!! Great hotel with awesome amenities!
Ronda
The breakfast buffet was good they even had a omelette station. I didn’t see an onsite restaurant for evening time so we had to go out for that. It is in walking distance to the metro train system that takes you to mall of America or even the Vikings football games. Target center and field are right near by. It is a great location
Matthew
The Hotel location very convenient for many things in the area. The Valet service for parking was a nice option but trying to locate the valet was a challenge. Check in was done online, but still took over 10 minutes to get my card activated. We checked in late in evening and had to run to theatre right away so it wasn't until late after the show that we got back to our room. At which time it was after midnight to find a Black Bra stuffed into the seat of the chair in the room. If it hadn't been so late we would have asked for a new room.
My wife accidently left her purse in our friends room, we called the front desk to inform them that they would be bringing it down to the front desk. We were told we needed to fill out the LOST & FOUND form online which we did immediately and informed our friends. When they brought the purse to the front desk the person there knew nothing about our call earlier and they were telling us that we need to fill out the form. Once we talked with the front desk and explained that we had already done that they said they would place the purse in the safe until Cleaning Mgr came in on Monday to then process to sent back. I am still waiting to hear back from the Hotel that the purse has been shipped.

Rooms are older for sure and no wow factor. It's a place to stay down town that can be reasonably priced. breakfast is ok and fills an early morning need of something in your stomach.
Chris
This is our favorite place to stay when we go to the target center

I’ve never been to a Hilton that didn’t not have parking for guest. The staff was not helpful when I came to rinsing parking. Also I’ve never had to pay a $250 deposit. Maybe $50 or $100, but never $250. I’d never stay there again.
Monica
I appreciated how well maintained their property was. I enjoyed the indoor pool and was able to do my water therapy!
Great job.
Great job.

This is a great property in downtown Minneapolis. Close enough to walk to restaurants and sports/concert venues. The rooms are large and well cared for. Absolutely staying here again.
Brigette
This property is beautiful with a lobby bar and large clean rooms with nice products in the shower. We checked in around 7:30-8pm and found we could not get in the building without setting up contactless check in through the app. Luckily some one from inside was able to open the door for us and there was a human at the desk to check in with. I'm not a fan of contactless any thing, I would rather deal with a person every time, but I get it may have been for evening security that the doors were locked because in the morning everything was open again. If you stay here and are parking a car, the valet service is good you use an app for payment and to request the car again, just remember that pickup is not in the front, its at the back behind the elevators in the parkade on the lobby level (just a small detail we weren't told so we waited on the street for quite awhile before the valet came to find us). Breakfast was very good in a beautiful space. Great variety, nice juices and delicious coffee, just wish there were ceramic mugs instead of paper cups. Overall a great experience,
Laurie
The staff did not seem to enjoy their work and the parking situation is really expensive.
Don
Only problem was parking a block away
Debra
Nice location for events at Target Center. Public parking about 2 blocks away, easy... great breakfast, very good options. A little pricey, but for right downtown, it's expected. Would stay here again for events at Target Center
Deb
We loved both the reception in the evening and the breakfast offerings.
The larger suite was perfect for us.

Helpful staff, great location, loved the cocktail reception and breakfast!!
Paul
Excellent breakfast with omelets made to you liking. Really nice!
Derek
Room wasn’t clean. Items from previous guest still in room. Door battery was constantly broken. Wasn’t fixed until checkout. Bar wasn’t sufficiently staffed. Bartender did not want to wait on tables. Wasn’t busy in there, yet he made guests feel like it was an inconvenience to be sitting at the table. In the morning when trying trying to get back into room but couldn’t, due to battery issue, had to wait because front desk didn’t have a radio to get in contact with maintenance. Then the front desk girl acted as if we were the problem when waiting on valet parking. Had no clue that the front door wasn’t where I pick my truck up at. All in all, I won’t recommend this establishment nor will I ever stay here again.
Kimberly
Wish there would’ve been more bedding. Otherwise wonderful stay , great location!
Anthony
Location of the hotel is perfect if you are going to Trget Field, Target Center or US Bank Stadium. The breakfast is always great with plenty of selections and it has always been fresh each time I've stayed here.
Gail
The woman with long hair at the desk who checked us in was snippy and unhelpful. Her hair covered her name tag. The rooms are hard worn, water pressure was terrible, doors are dinged, the flip lock on the door was hanging by the screws. No remote in the bedroom for the TV. Had to call for it. The pullout bed had one pillow and the case left for it barely fit it and there should have been two pillows. The blanket was very worn. Parking was tough, double parked cars waiting on 6th for valet so we walked it with kids. The breakfast was very good and the kids enjoyed the pool but at 8:30 am only 3 towels were left to use.

Rooms are nice. Bed was super compfy, as well as the pillows. When we first got to the hotel the checkin lady was short and she made sure to stress that we booked second party, like it was a terrible thing. I compared prices from their sight and expedia.com and there was a significant difference for the same reservation, so i chose Expedia. The breakfast was good. Made to order eggs, any way you like them. There was an extremely LOUD fight in the hallway at 2 a.m. that went on for at least 20 min. Finally staff came up and they stopped fighting for a good 5 minutes before they started in again and i decided to turn my fan on high and try to sleep through it. Parking is EXPENSIVE! $60 per day. Be prepared for that. Ambience was great! Pool is good sized, but we never used it.

Clean room, short distance to target center

Wonderful room and amenities

The breakfast and happy hour were excellent. The one front desk fellow could be friendlier, but it may be his personality. Our room wasn’t overly clean and housekeeping was inconsistent.
We loved the location to restaurants and Target Field.

I travel a great deal. I believe the Downtown Minneapolis Embassy Suites is the best hotel experience - - staff, room, breakfast - - I have had in several years.
Matt
Parking was a little steep on the price scale.
Sarah

Great stay. The Management special 5-630pm and complimentary breakfast is what keeps me coming back to the brand. Parking was tricky, and rhe valet parking was steep. Apparently, the valet group and front desk folks don't really communicate. It was a bit cumbersome dealing with a female front desk representative trying to verify the process of getting my rental car keys in the morning BEFORE valet folks show up at 7am. Also, the communication with the valet (young) folks was also cumbersome, as there was very little information provided on where to pick up car and how to inform them for pick up. The bartenders and wait staff in the restaurant was outstanding. Definitely made our stay enjoyable!!! The hotel location is awesome! I will make this my primary hotel when I come to Minneapolis.

El desayuno muy rico!

Our room was clean and spacious. We had a fridge and microwave. The blankets were thin. I should have asked for another. The breakfast was great. They had fresh made omelets and tasty muffins among many other options. The gym facility was nice. The pool was ok. No hot tube. They need to replace the pool chair loungers. They need to do a pool room refresh but otherwise the hotel was nice.

Very good breakfast options and staff was friendly.
Rooms missing simple things like kleenex.
There was no extra pillows for sofa bed and when asked for them, received sofa pillows instead.

Very clean and efficient.

They stand by their product. We had an issue with one of our rooms and they made it right. This is our favorite hotel downtown and have stayed many times.
Molly
Breakfast was great but the front staff were not pleasant.
Christina
Our room was dirty. Dirty socks in the bed. Not ok for the price we paid. Hotel check in person was rude.
Elizabeth
Wonderful, free, help yourself or made to order breakfast. Lovely view from my table. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, clean and beautiful room.
Theresa

The location is ideal. Steps from the target center and target field. Accommodations were what we come to expect from an embassy suites. Breakfast is wonderful. We would stay again
Gina
Friendly staff, very fast valet, several breakfast options including a made-to-order omelet and clean rooms. Close to many downtown food and entertainment options.
Gerry
I arrived and was unable to enter the lobby for about 10 minutes, continued knocking. As i retreated to car a valet showed up and let me in. Mind you i was parked on street in downtown minneapolis in valet spot. Breakfast and evening reception were great. EXTREMELY scented shower products caused by daughter an extreme asthma attack the first in 10 plus years and myself breathing issues.
Molly
clipped toenails on the floor when we first arrived to our room
Devin
It was good
