I got my room key. On way to room - elevator lights broken and walkways smelled of urine. The door wouldn't open and it was clear.the door had been damaged. I returned the key to the office and left. The office staff was very helpful and polite - they were in a tought situation - apologized for conditions over which they had no control. They helped me file for a refund.

Lobby was full of angry guests upon arrival. We went to the room to find a smashed tv, curtains falling down, and mold growing on the lampshade. I decided not to stay and went to the desk to get my money back. The person in charge said I needed to get the refund from Expedia. I tried, but Expedia thinks I'm a the Motel 6. I contacted the hotel to tell Expedia we didn't stay. They have not responded. Worst hotel ever!

Check in went well and the room itself was clean - bedding, toilet, sink, shower. Things were obviously run down though and there was no carpeting on the floor (probably a good thing to be honest). I was suspecting as much from my walk to the room - lots of rust showing on the stairs to the second floor, pool covered and not available despite a hot July. Unfortunately, there was a strong, negative odor in the room which is what really put me off. I will tolerate a fair amount to be inexpensive, but if I can't sleep well due to the odor, then what's the point?

The room was horrible. It had holes in the ceiling, the doors were rotting, surfaces were sticky, there were bugs smashed on the walls and an unidentifiable stain on the towels. The overwhelming smell of urine permeated the room. The front desk clerk was pleasant and I guess the perk was that there weren't any bed bugs. I wish I could give it negative stars.

I had an older woman that was very helpful, on the second night. I had a younger man on check in and he was rude and not helpful at all, put in a room with no TV and said I could either take it or go somewhere else, it is your call. Reservation was made way ahead of time. Vending area smelled of urine terrible, 1 machine out of order, another machine empty, pool not open, no breakfast. There were not any towels in the room the first night, enough for one person in the new room on the 2nd night.

The staff person told me she wasn’t sure if my room had a tv or if it worked, but I couldn’t switch rooms as they were booked full so I was stuck with what I had

The sheets had brown spots on them
I luckily had a tarp in my truck that I used as my bed sheet and covered in it
Messy all around the location
No way was I using the fridge as I noticed it wasn’t plugged in, but I wasn’t going to dig for the plug or find the outlet as it looked dirty in that area
I didn’t feel safe at all

I have never even imagined a hotel to ever be this bad. Room reeked of pee and cigarettes, all the sheets and pillows were stained and not even washed, stains all over the walls, no towels in our room AT ALL, floor was dirty and the first night we killed 5 cockroaches! Staff was terrible and argued with us over the condition of our room, gave us a new room and that one was just as gross- toilet didn’t work, stains all over, No TV??????? This place should be condemned and burned, and then burned again.

I didn't like my stay at the Motel 6 in Roseville MN. My 1st night there, there was NO hot water. I was never informed of the hot water. Thought out my stay I shower a couple days. Staff Valerie very very poor professional skill in managing the property are employee. I would ask for different item for the room, she would say and I quote \" I got you, I bring it myself and never receive it. This happened ok n 3 different occasions. Drugs users and dealer on the property securty there looked the other way. The stay and the conditions of the rooms for the amount of money I paid wasn't worth it. The room was affordable for my money but the stay was TERRIBLE. I took a video of the condition of the room.

We stayed here last minute for a concert. The sink was dirty with toothpaste, the shower was not cleaned, the floor was sticky, when we opened the fridge there was a large Raising Cane cup full of sauce left in there. When we came back to go to bed there was stains on the sheets. Luckily we had extra sheets in the car to put over the bed. Also 1 pillow for a queen size bed. 10/10 would not recommend this place.

Run, don’t walk away from this hotel. We booked a non smoking room because it was pet friendly and we were on a road trip. The room reaked of cigarette smoke as the occupant next door was smoking so much you could smell it just standing outside the door. The room they put us looked nothing like what was advertised on this site. The walls were dirty, there was dirt and hair in the shower, a dead fly on the bed. When we lifted the sheets to check for bedbugs, I was so disgusted I almost cried. The mattress had so many bodily fluid stains and dried blood stains that it scared our kid.

After going to dinner and contemplating if we could actually stay there, we decided to ask for a room change. The second room was better and looked a little like the photos. The was an odd mold smell, but we dealt with it. The shower curtain was filthy, but the water was hot. The shower was ok… after showering I noticed some dried yellow stains on the shower stall which made me believe it was probably dried urine. The mattress in this room was clean, but when I was about to sleep for the night I noticed a blood stain on the sheet. The outlet near the sinks didn’t work. The lamps flickered. We got the hell out ASAP in the morning.

This is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hallways and elevator all had the vague smell of animal urine as well as cigarettes and marijuana. The stairwell smelled as if an adult human male had emptied his entire bladder on the carpeting.

When informed of the smell, the hotel staff did not clean the stairwell but did spray some air freshener.

The front door was broken and did not correctly open or close. There was no dolly to move our luggage. The door to our hotel room did not correctly close, so we took the advice of the multiple signs throughout the hotel and used both deadbolts to secure the door.

The elevator broke down and was inoperable, and luggage had to be hauled by stairwell (which, as a reminder, reeked of urine).

There was a security guard and police officers on site, apparently in relation to a domestic dispute. Another hotel guest solicited us for drugs.

The rooms are quite small and the AC was inoperable from our room. There was yellow stains on the sheets and minimal amenities. I do not recommend this hotel in any capacity.

After check in to room 111..(at the very back of the hotel
.which is relevant after telling the agent and her seeing me with a cane)...took a shower...wait..no I didn't..there was NO hot water...well I'll tough it out..oh wait..no towels..after slowly walking back to the office I was informed the cleaning staff had gone for the day and there was no towels...next morning..they don't come in til 9AM...(checkout is 11AM..one kind soul was able to find me a washcloth and small hand towel...oh well...no shower I guess...after checking out I was informed the 75$ \"deposit\" would be back on my debit card on 7 to 10 business days..so in 2 weeks I hope to get the entire 75$...any other questions? 'nuff said

The first room I was in had no TV on the wall mount, the headboard was off the wall behind the bed and the metal mounts were poking out toward the pillow area, there were old stains on the sheets and towels, the floor was kind of sticky, and there was no hot water in the shower. I switched to another room, which had the TV and the headboard and was cleaner, but smelled of smoke even though it was nonsmoking (maybe from neighbors smoking on the patio), there were cigarette burns on the bedspread, and the shower only ever reached barely lukewarm. Almost every night I had to get my key card reset as well, somehow the ones they use just didn't stay magnetized even when kept away from my phone etc. Seemed like a number of rooms were occupied by longer-term residents, the outer walkways and stairways were not particularly clean, and the police were on site one evening I got back.

I will say that through all this the staff were very polite and accommodating.

The room wasn’t clean, no towels in room and asked for towels at 7am and were told there wasn’t any til later in day, when came back to room that evening had to go ask for towels again. Was given 1 towel and several bath mats. When asked for another towel was told had to return the ones given before, informed the staff at front desk I was given one towel and several bath mats instead of 2 towels then they got 2 towels. Room was supposed to be non smoking and there were ashes on the night stand and many burn marks on the floor throughout the room. Found 2 live cockroaches in the room on the desk. The tv couldn’t hardly be watched was very dark and had 2 bright spots in it. When we tried to take a shower there was no hot water. When checking out couldn’t get a receipt for the bill that will go on my credit card. Will never stay at this place again. Will think twice about staying at another motel 6. DO NOT STAY HERE. Upon pulling into the parking lot I knew I had made a mistake...went to check in and got the keys. Opened the door and there was no TV. Went back to the front desk and asked to be moved to a room with a TV...then walked into the second room and there was 1 double bed...I paid for two beds in the room. Went back down to the front desk and got moved for a third time...got to the third room to find it utterly disgusting and filthy. The linens and carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. AVOID THIS motel at all costs. Got my money back and found a nicer place for a few bucks more down the street.

Regina at the front desk was friendly and understanding and a great employee, even though she couldn’t help.

The mattresses were yellow in spots. No blankets on the bed. Just a sheet. No fitted sheet on the mattress. They allow dogs which is normally not an issue,but one lunged at my husband and tried to bite him,as he was trying to walk downstairs. There were “deals” going on outside the hotel rooms. The room smelled like marijuana as soon as we walked in. The walls are thin and we could here other guests conversations.

The room had fake wood floors that were so sticky it sounded like we were walking thru a beer tent. There was some type of food (I hope) splattered on the wall behind the door and the headboard for the bed was ripped off the wall and was left proped on the floor between the bed and the wall. It was a large room yet there was no secondary seating only the bed. When we left for work on the next day our room was completely cleaned out and all of our things thrown away. We rented the room for 5 days while our place was having plumbing done and honestly it was so gross that we spent 3 of the nights camping out in our garage and using the room to shower . The staff that we interacted with at the desk were very polite and helpful otherwise this would have been a 0 across the board.

Non smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Unironically the smoke detector was covered in plastic. There were stains on the curtains as well which was interesting. Paid for a queen and I’m pretty certain that bed was not a queen. Restroom door did not close unless you lifted and body slammed it. It didn’t lock regardless. Checked in and there was no tv in the room. Told the front desk person, and they said maintenance probably took it out. Didnt offer another room, or anyrhing. I stayed 2 nights, and never did get a tv. There were lady bugs crawling on the walls and ceiiling. I got rid of them, but more kept getting in. It was definately a cheap motel. The bed was uncomfortable, the stairways were dirty, it should have been about a $40 a night stay, but it was twice that. Would never sty there again.

The toilet seat was broken and not attached to the toilet, the laminate counter tops of the dresser cabinets was delaminating. The pool was not open. The place looked worn out and unsafe. There was a man out on the balcony watching us the entire time. Even when we made it up to our floor and to our room. We talked briefly about the situation and decided to leave. Ww just did not feel comfortable to stay. The photos from when i booked the reservation absolutely do not match what we saw when we checked in our room. Even my bottom sheet of my bed looked crumpled and slept on. Including someone elses hair in the bed. Just ish. We did not ask for our money back, we just checked out at the desk and left. Surprisingly the guy behind the desk didn't even ask why since we had just checked in. Very disappointed and would not recommend. Sorry.

Location is pretty convenient.
Theis place is doing renovations, some rooms have been done but not the rooms on the back side. Landscaping could stand some sprucing up. Some rooms have refrigerators but not all. Pool was drained & covered while I was there in July for repairs.
Housekeeping... or lack of it. You do not get any housekeeping while you stay there. There's a rolling bin at the bottom of the stairs for you to place your trash. Apparently when housekeeping is done for the day, they just leave, rooms left open without pillows and don't mop. What they do clean is not up to most Mom's expect.

Upon entering the room it was evident the room was not cleaned properly after the previous guests. The towels were refolded but covered in hair. It appeared other towels had been used due to a crusty substance. The bed sheets had hair on them. Even if it was clean the outside lights were bright all night and the beds were no better than sleeping on plain springs. Worst night of sleep. I will never go back to that disgusting place.

No covers. Dirty. Smelled like cigars. Staff lied about other available rooms. Transients and drug users staying longer term and around pool. Pool out of order. Laundry out of order. Staff couldnt produce a receipt on checkout. Should be torn down. Never will stay there again.

Bit deceiving based off the pictures but also if you know the area at all shouldnt come as surprise. Check in was seamless and our room was in order but bring a flyswatter and probably air freshener (room reeked of unknown odor that may have been urine mixed with cigarette smoke ~ who knows tho.) we just needed a place to lay our heads for the night on our roadtrip so could have done worse but for sure could have done just a bit better. Definitely a grungey place so if you need a cheap room it’ll do but might be better off splurging bit more on a room to be in a safer area.

I was in meed of a room for a few nights. I decided on Motel 6 becasue it was near where i needed to be and they had a pool. Rates were decent. Not great for the room after the fact, but when i booked it, they seemed fair.
Part of the reasom i deciced on Motel 6 was becasue they had an outdoor pool. Advertised on their web site, etc. Upon arrival, it turns out the pool was close \"indefinitely.\" In hind sight, that was probably a good thing.
The enployees seemed indifferent, except for housekeeping. It was obvious they worked their ass off and did a good job.
But the front desk seems \"put out\" and it felt like they were there for a paycheck only. One of the guys when i checked in late at night, was completely oblivious it seemed.
Also, they didmt check license plates, amd the lot felt like there were quite a few abandoned vehicles, people sitting in their car all night, etc.
Im normally not one to complain or leave bad reviews, but i couldn't ne quiet on this one. I wont say i will never use Motel 6 again, but i will MOST CERTAINLY never go to this location again.
I should mention the fact that i had to go to a local store and buy \"fly strips\" due to the fact that were an inordinate amount of house flys AND fruit flys in the room. When there wasnt any fruit. I am not sure where they were coming from, I believe they were coming in through the drain pipes in the sink.

Property was dirty, looked unsafe, doors didnt close or lock properly. Room was never cleaned even when I asked, upstairs tenant kept yelling and screaming profanities everyday at 3am. Seems like people live at that property and leave trash all over.

it is going to take a lot more to save thar place that poor remodel. there three days two nights, cops there each night.I had elelctrical conduit blocking a doorway, concrete you could look thru, poor workmanship. Water running across the floor from the tolient reported but on one came.we would have moved if there was a place to go. it was bad, vendeing room was so hot, the bars were melted in the machine, the pop machine got me for five bucks. kinda sad and difetinly will change motel picks?
