Pool is closed - emptied - used for storage. Kids were disappointed. Sketchy neighborhood. Towels and bedding for the pullout were very hard to come by. You get one towel. Won’t return.

Entry doors/handles were dirty. The room had so much damage from the walls, chairs, towel handle, shower head and shower curtain. The window curtain was soiled. No blow dryer. Stayed 2 nights and no housekeeping until after I left. The desk clerk was friendly on the 2nd day and at checkout.

The lobby was very dirty. Door windows were so dirty you could no see through them.
We ended up getting another set of sheets for our beds. We had no fitted sheets. No towels and half a roll of toilet paper.

The pool was out of order. No breakfast. Room was dirty and smelled really bad. Only had very small pillows. No comforters, just a small brown wool blanket and a cover sheet. The guy working the counter tried to give me a room with only 1 bed when i had paid for 2 beds. Will never go back to this place. The pictures online do not match this place. It's dark and smelly.

Upon arrival, I noticed the hotel had a stinky musk to it. They proceeded to give us our room on the first floor. We went into our room and there was bedbug poo on the sheets and on the mattresses. There was human puke on the floor and mould in the bathroom. We requested a different room. They put us up on the second floor and the room was no better my stay was scheduled for four days. I left the very next day. Definitely never book at the Baymont in Brooklyn Park. This hotel should be shut down permanently.

There were no towels in our rooms when we arrived and had to ask for some and a few times through the stay, the room was very humid the entire trip, thing left from previous visitors were left in the room/bathroom.
I will say when it came time to put out a noise complaint the staff was very quick to resolve the issue.

No sheets on bed only mattress pad duvet, cover and on top of that was a flat sheet. So many things in the room for cracked, broken torn. Apart, huge sticky spots in the floor the room should have been under construction to be fixed. I'm not rented out for a $100 a night. They're free cottonel, breakfast. It was a bottle of water, a chocolate muffin that was expired by 3 months a granola bar in an apple that was so dark. It almost looked black. You only get one towel. One washcloth and 1 hand towel in a king, sweet room. Absolutely, horrible smells throughout the whole place. Our rooms meld absolutely terrible, and it was hotter than a blue blaze's air conditioner barely worked bathtub. It didn't work no remote controls for the tvs

They Worst Hotel I have every stayed in!

The place was very dirty, smelled like weed walking down the hall. No breakfast, pool was closed due to Heath Department, floors were dirty and sticky , 1 light bulb in light fixture in room, Tv didn't work, only a top sheet & mattress cover , other bed didn't have any pillows. Carpet had paint stains all over, paint stains in bathtub, & chair we had was deteriorated and dilapidated.

Came in and it had such a foul smell so I went to the front desk and told them and they gave me another room. That room smelled worse. The bed sheets had stains. One bed had no pillows just 2 small decorative ones. The bathroom was disguised the towels looked used. It was so bad we check in at 3 and checked out at 4 after trying to get a refund! Spent so much on the room and spent so much time trying to get a refund I’m disgusted and disappointed and NEED MY REFUND NOW

This is a terrible hotel. It is old, smelly, and rundown. It is completely broken. The pool and hot tub are permanently closed. We did not have soap, towels, ironing, board, iron, hangers, and other basic amenities. I do not recommend this property and give it a zero out of 10. I am officially working with Expedia to get a refund on our three night stay. We couldn’t change hotels because this was already booked for my mothers funeral. Very unsatisfied.

The pictures made it look much nicer than it was. The bed was uncomfortable, there were a people around that made me feel uncomfortable to the point I had to have a male friend come stay over at 3am because it sounded like someone kept trying to open my door to my room. I wouldn’t recommend for ladies staying solo. I rented a room with a whirlpool tub to relax and the jets didn’t work well. When they started what looked like leaves and black particles appeared in the water so that was a waste.

Booked the hotel room for the specific reason that online it stated that there was a swimming pool! I was not notified that the pool was not open due to construction. I thought we were unlucky to book during the two weeks of construction. I later found out that the pool had been permanently closed for years! I ask for a refund and they refuse!

Additionally, your explanation regarding the 24/7 front desk attendant being away assisting another guest does not address my primary concern. My voicemail, left at 7:24 PM, detailing multiple issues—including a clogged toilet, a non-functional in-room phone, an inoperable jacuzzi light, and a non-working TV—was completely ignored. No one returned my call, nor did anyone attempt to follow up by knocking on my door. When I checked out at 9:00 AM the following morning, I reported these issues in person to the front desk. I was assured that the information would be passed along to the manager, yet more than 24 hours passed with no response. I left another voicemail in the hotel's general mailbox before escalating my concerns to corporate.

To reiterate, I do not want points. I want a full refund to my card immediately. This was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I have ever experienced, and I have only outlined the most critical issues. Additionally, we specifically booked this hotel because of the advertised pool, which, unbeknownst to us, had been shut down by the health department for an extended period. This misleading information further added to the disappointment.

What was intended to be a relaxing night after a stressful day at Shriners Hospital for my child turned into the opposite. Given the unacceptable service, unaddressed safety concerns, and the misrepresentation of amenities, I expect a full refund.

This property is beneath any Baymont I have ever stayed in. The room was not clean stained sheets they said we do not have fitted sheets for the bed. Shower was nasty. I reserved a jacuzzi that I refused to use. I tried to get ice and he came from the back with a glove and offered a hand of ice. No machines work in the hotel. Also breakfast was cereal toast they had in cooked bacon and eggs that were chopped up to crumb's. I took pictures it was not worth my money. Then when you call customer service the try to see you Medicare and you can't get anyone on the line. A total disaster

We asked for the highest floor and away from the elevator when making reservation. Had even stayed here previously on the 4th floor. However. no matter what we said, the receptionist was only going to put us on the first floor. After some conversations, he finally yielded a room on the second floor. The TV in the room does not work with the remote. He came into the room and tried it out himself. Clearly it's not working. He said he will look for another one. 15-20 minutes passed and no response. Went down to the lobby, he and the other person were actually chatting and enjoying the pizza from Casey's. You could tell he was lying about rooms not available on the third or fourth floor because the parking lot was only half-full at best later that night and also lying about looking for the remote. We later found that the toilet doesn't flush because the connector inside is broken as pictured, so you would have to open top of the tank and pull the chain manually. There's also some spot on the carpet near the TV and fridge areas that's sticky. Not an enjoyable night at all.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE HOTEL I'VE BEEN TO. They say the offer a pool and hot tub both were closed down for days were told that they should be up and running by day three. Only the pool was opened in the evening. The breakfest was a joke only offered milk, brown bread and eggs. Plus we needed tickets to get breakfast The room was outdated with lots of things broken, tv didnt work properly, couldnt use the phone, lights burnt out and light fixures were coming off the ceiling. On top of that our key cards didnt work had to go up to the front desk multiple times to get it re set. By our last night they had to use a master key to let us in. Do Not stay here its not worth it!!!

terrible, disgusting hotel

the tv and the hot tub in the room didn't work. they only gave is 2 pillows for a king bed and a pull out, along with one towel. when we called to ask for more pillows and towels and to ask for the tv to be fixed we were told only one person was working and nobody showed up. the pool was filthy, there was actual debris floating in it. the hot tub in the pool area was taped off. when we went to ask for more towels we were told they were out.

Room we were given was so bad we asked for a change in rooms. Dirty curtains, unknown \"stuff\" on one wall and the mirror. Smelled. The second room was much better but the staff member was not the nicest about it. The pool was closed but we were not informed of that at check in. Two of us specifically had looked for a hotel with a pool. When asked why the pool was closed we were told it needed to be shocked but they didn't have the chemicals and the staff member was again not very nice about explaining the situation. We did find enjoyment watching the squirrels who had built their home along one of the exterior pieces of wood.

The elevator was broken for three days. There were water spots around the place. They do not clean the room after you check out, so expect a dirty room for your whole stay. I have stayed here before and for some reason, they never have clean towels available. Breakfast was ok.

There was no housekeeping. Nobody came to empty garbage or replace towels. We had to ask for towels and in order to get them we had to take dirty ones back. Ran out of toilet paper. Ice machine doesnt work. Towel bar was falling off the wall. No holder in bathroom for toilet paper and the stuff in refrigerator was freezing due to the freezer part not able to shut .there was over abundance of ice frosted over. The hallways smelled of pot. Not a good thing with a toddler.

Hotel was not as advertised. Our first room's washroom was very evidently not cleaned between occupants as the toilet had an unpleasant surprise still in it.

Hot tob was not operational, and clearly hasn't been for a while. No warning or notice.

Common area floors and a walls were sticky, had old foot print stains. Whole hotel still smelt of cigarettes and marijuana. 2 days worth of garbage bags were left in the main stairwell next to the elevators.

Was still being renovated three years later. Had damage to vehicle in parking lot. Refrigerator was not working. The tv had to get replaced that didn't work and took 4 hours to get taken care of.
