This was such a run down place, if we could have left we would have. Curtains didn't shut all the way as light shown in then. Civets in the walls, outlets almost falling off, furniture showing wear, sticky floor, Should I go on?
Others towns we have stayed keep up the buildings much much better. Compared to Naperville, Illinois this was big 0!!

No breakfast provided either morning (staff just scoffed at me when I asked). Coffee wasn’t out till well after 6 am today.
Shower rod in my room was installed poorly and twisted so that the shower curtain wouldn’t stay fully pulled closed. There were hairs on the wall of the shower. Multiple stains on the carpet and walls were dirty.
Really not impressed with anything on this property.

•The building is showing its age.
• our room had no washcloths, and one pillow was missing pillowcase. The staff gave us 1 washcloth and 2 handtowels because they didn't have enough washcloths.
• I couldn't figure out how to make the remote control for the TV. When I asked for help, the staff gave me another remote. One staff member indicated the main reason they don't work is dead battery. I was told someone from maintenance could check it out Monday morning. I finally figured out to manually push buttons on the TV to find a channel to watch.
• The hot water faucet in the bathroom sink was broken and not connected to the sink.
•The microwave was missing the base plate.
•The light above the desk appeared to have a broken lightbulb and wasn't plugged in.
☆ The refridgerator worked and had a temp of 39°.
☆ the bed and pillows were comfortable, the chairs were comfortable and in good repair.
• There were signs advertising \"grab & go\"breakfast, but the only thing available was coffee. The staff told me they hoped there would be more items delivered on the truck coming Tuesday.
☆ the garbage cans were a good size.
• the tub had a cracked floor
☆ the water temp and pressure were good. The tub was not slippery, 1 grab bar was in place & in good position.
☆ electrical outlets were accesible and in working order (important for c-paps)
• phone had no dial tone and could not call front desk.
•staff was difficult to find in the evening.
☆Elevator in working order.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Check-in was confrontational. Room: dirty floor, shabby furniture (except for bed), no safe, not only no shampoo, there was no soap, tub plug removed, shower locked on (i.e. no bath posssible, despite presence of tub). Found LOTS of trash under the bed! No coffee on first day. No breakfast at all, not even grab & go. Tenants loitered out front all day. Noisy tenants. One tenant warned me about bed bugs.

The front desk workers were both friendly and kind. However the people in the lobby when we were checking in were rough. To the point where I almost didn't feel safe staying alone there with my young daughter. There was a man stumbling in the hallway saying nonsensical words at like 6pm. We had to change rooms because of a cigarette smell in our original room and then there were burns in the floor of our second room. Again, I think the workers and owners are trying but it's pretty rough. There was only nasty coffee and hot water for oatmeal in the morning. No ice machines or any amenities.

Our room was near to the front desk area from Midnight to 4:00am there was loud talking swearing, laughing, singing, yelling coming from the front desk area. The curtains in the rooms sliding mechanism had been broken and then poorly repaired so it wouldn’t close. A light had been replaced but the surrounding wall had not been painted or patched where the old light had been. Several holes in the walls not painted or patched. Kitchenette had no pots,pans dishes or utensils. The refrigerator rocked back and forth, the door swung the wrong way. The kitchen light didn’t work. The windows were stuck open. The left window lock didn’t. To it work and secured It was a real chore to get them closed which I had to do. The front desk person told it me was a maintenance issue and did nothing. The room was clean but poorly maintained. It smell of cat. I saw a cat in the window of one of the rooms near by. This place is a flophouse.

I stayed at Extended Stay America - Maple Grove on Friday, February 27th, in room 327, and it was without question the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in.
The moment I walked in, it was obvious the room had not been properly cleaned. The floors were dirty, and the outside of the refrigerator was absolutely filthy. The cabinet door underneath the sink was broken and hanging poorly. The toilet bowl had feces splashed inside it — clearly it had not been cleaned at all. The bathroom mirror wasn’t even fastened to the wall; it was just sitting on the counter. On top of that, the mirror was covered in toothpaste splatter from someone else brushing their teeth. Even the artwork in the bathroom was dirty and splashed.
The bathtub had a slimy scum coating the bottom and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The counter the TV sat on was badly damaged and scratched up. The curtains didn’t even cover the window — they appeared to have been torn down from the hooks and then poorly “repaired” with paper clips, which obviously did not work.
To make matters worse, there was pubic hair in the supposedly clean hand towels. That was the breaking point. The only reason I stayed was because the bed appeared clean and I was completely exhausted.
Although the receptionist was friendly in person, she would not answer the phone when I called from my room or even when I called from the front desk area. There is more but not enough room here.

We did not end up spending the night here. There was a hole in the wall about 6 inches wide, the back of the bathroom door had a large sticker in it as wide as the door. The furniture was in so disrepair the drawers in the dresser wouldn't close. The cover for the ceiling fan in the bathroom was in the sink. It was NOT clean we didn't even feel comfortable to sit down. I would like my money back from this property. I'm surprised it's not condemned.

Doesn't bode well when you check in and theres still a fan attempting to dry the soaked carpet still in your room. My room smelled so bad of mildew I couldn't be in there long. My carpet was soaked to where I couldn't take my shoes off unless I wanted wet socks or feet. Don't get me started on the half cleaning that was done to the room. Extended stay has gone DOWNHILL!!!

We had to find a hotel in a hurry as our daughter had surgery and had complications and ended up being admitted, we seen this hotel on expedia and was close by so we decided to go with it, from the the very first impression of walking up to the front desk was bad, there was no one there, there was a sign up that said dial the number for help, we did this 4 times before someone came and was still actively chewing food when she got to the front desk, we were exhausted as we drove several hours to bring our daughter to the hospital so we just wanted to get to our room and go to sleep, we got in the elevator which had burn marks in it, graffiti, and dirty floor, room was filthy,smelled bad, greasy hand prints caked on the bathroom door, cabinet doors were broken and dangling, brown stains on the ceiling, mysterious white stains by the corner of the bed on the floor, we will leave you to your imagination to what those stains were, gross! The chair in the corner was ripped, stains in the carpet, the wall light was dangling and light flickering, there was a marijuana blunt roach on the floor next to the end table,black frizzy hair in the bed, the sheets had stains, and the bed was broken and leaning towards the head board so I barely was able to sleep it was the worst most uncomfortable and disgusting stay I've ever had and that says a lot I'm not a picky person and am usually understanding but for that place to get that bad it had to have been neglected for quite some time.

The bathtub faucet was leaking and not attached the wall, the air conditioner didn’t work, there were holes in the wall painted over, and the dresser drawer handle was broken off. I recently booked a stay at this hotel but had to leave immediately upon arrival due to serious safety concerns. When I reached my assigned room, I found the door wide open, and there were unfamiliar individuals wandering the hallway. This created an atmosphere that felt unsafe and deeply unsettling.

Out of concern for my personal safety, I chose not to enter the room. I went to the front desk to request a different room, hoping for a quick resolution. Unfortunately, my request was denied without any explanation or effort to understand my concerns. I then asked for a refund, which was also refused outright.

What was most troubling about this experience was the complete lack of acknowledgment or support from the hotel staff regarding the safety risks I raised. Their indifference made it clear that guest safety was not a priority.

This experience left me shaken and disappointed. I strongly urge others to think twice before booking a stay here. At the very least, I expected a basic level of care and concern for my wellbeing — but sadly, that was nowhere to be found.

Drawers missing. I had to hook up the drapes with one of the drape pins in order to darken the room as one side was hanging down. Odors from people cooking in their rooms weren't necessarily pleasant. The elevator was pretty beat up and there was no inspection notice. Rate was good but we would have to be desperate to stay there again.

Took 5 minutes for someone to come to the desk at check in and the place is dirty!
The clerk didn’t offer anything to us or even greet us. I said we are here to check in and she said - name? Then proceeded to not say another word. The clerk in the morning was worse! Asked what do you want ? I said checking out and handed her our room keys that she threw on the front counter and started to walk into the back and when I stood there - she said - do you need something else. I told her. Wasn’t comfortable leaving my room keys that had the room number on the holder just laying out. Someone could grab the. And access the room. She never punched anything in the computer that would deactivate the keys she said no one would do that and walked to the back.

We booked it for 5 nights but only stayed there 2 or 3 because it was such a poor experience. Maple Grove and Plymouth are generally safe areas but we did not feel safe there after a couple experiences we had with others. We didn't like that there was no remote for the TV, dishes and utensils in unit, crooked lamp shades, 2 of 3 lamps not working, 2 work station tables but only 1 chair, a shower tub that looked so bad neither of us wanted to use it, the floor mat towel was folded nicely over the tub edge when we arrived but totally soaked wet, the kitchen sink looked awful (apparently hard water stains), the chair for the work station had stains whereby my husband didn't want to sit on it and he said the mesh back of the chair felt sticky. Those were a few of the things we didn't like. We did like that it had working air conditioning. We were grateful that the reception desk could give us a tv remote and dishes and utensils. In general, I really would not recommend staying here.

First, the staff on hand did everything she could to help me, including check at least up to five different rooms for me to have something. I will admit that I did not know that you could not check in past midnight. I had issues to where I couldn’t make it to the property until 1245a. She did everything she could find me a room so I was very appreciative of that. She struggled to find any open rooms because the organization of who was staying on property was almost nonexistent and her iPad that she had to use to check me in was not functioning almost at all, so she physically had to go into rooms to see if people were occupying those rooms so that I could get a room.

After she found me an After she found me, the bathroom door handle was broken off and sitting on the counter. The bathroom counter has stains all over it. The bathtub where I was supposed to take a shower was ridiculously dirty and moldy. There were numerous punctures or holes in the walls. One outlet near a bed. The other outlet wasn’t even installed correctly and was literally in the wall by wires only. The mattress that I slept on hasn’t been changed out in years and you could tell.

I normally don’t expect much for a room at that rate however, I do expect a room to be somewhat clean and usable. Honestly, the room that I had was a complete joke and the pictures that I see on Expedia are either one or two rooms that they’ve updated or don’t actually exist. I have no idea to be honest. Staff took note of it but seemed too busy to actually fix anything. The on the go breakfast lacked options so i was glad i brought my own food.

This property needs a huge influx of money and TLC to bring it back to a desirable place to stay. The room was not just dirty but the door handle on the bathroom fell off, the tub was rusted and dripping, and the bed was old and saggy with ripped linens and poorly made. The lobby had a caution wet floor sign but the floor was actually dirty and the glass doors were filthy. The staff was pleasant but didn't appear to take a lot of pride in the place. I could not recommend this place and regret making the reservation here.

Things that did not work, half the lamps and the tv. The carpet was disgusting, I’d only wear my flip flops in the room. The bath tub leaked all night. I had to request the front desk guy around 11pm to ask guests who were parting on the front porch to leave they were so loud. I had to be up at 5am and couldn’t fall asleep until midnight. I’ve stayed in many ESAS across the country and never had an experience like this.
Front desk guy was great, only good thing about my stay. I’d actually like my money back.

Property was conveniently located for our needs, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. ( Especially Kevin on the afternoon shift) The room was spacious and the king sized bed was very comfortable.
However, there were multiple things in the room in need of repair. The kitchen faucet constantly dripped, the sink was stained and kind of gross, and the countertop was bubbling up...needing to be replaced. The picture online shows a coffee pot in the room....but there wasn't one. ( Thank you Kevin for finding that for us) Also the shower head needs replacing. And there was a hole in the wall where someone before us had opened the bathroom door and smashed the wall with the handle.
We were in the area to visit family, so really didn't spend much time in the room. As long as the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, that was what mattered most for us. (And, of course the coffee pot)
We will research other options before booking here again

The property was surprisingly run down for the area. I originally only rented a room for one night and check f out the next morning. Later that day I needed another room so I rebooked. The next morning some rude lady was banging on my door long before check out to find out if I was staying again and told me if I was then I couldn’t check out and rebook. I wasn’t sure at that moment so I just decided to check out and when I needed a room again that night I went elsewhere. I didn’t get a discount for multiple nights so why would it matter if I book separately? I hardly make any mess so it’s not like they have to deep clean each room when I check out. Needless to say since they don’t want to do the job they are being paid to do, I’ll stay somewhere I’m more welcomed.

The hotel furniture wasnt the greatest. The TV looked like from the early 2000s, Bathroom tub was just dirty. The sink had lime buildup. I liked that they were willing to accommodate. What i did not like was the disorganization, service was limited, walls looked dirty, there was a hole in the wall in one of the rooms. The bathroom doors didnt close properly or lock at all. Certain staff members were less than professional.

Not clean and things didn’t work

Not real impressed with the room. I wasn’t expecting luxury at this price point, but clean and working should be the basics at any price point. The carpet had multiple large stains, two of the four lamps didn’t work, and the TV remote was missing a battery so we couldn’t watch TV.

Never Stay Here Again!!

There was garbage in the garbage can from the previous person—hole in the wall from the bathroom door—the trim was coming off the wall—the carpet was away from the wall and coming off the wall (used as trim) — the mattress pad/cover was dirty looked like never changed

Property was extremely outdated and in poor repair. I cannot believe it is offered on Expedia. Room had heat turned off and it was extremely cold. No hair dryer, smelled horrible, and received a notice 5mins after checking in that water was being turned off at 8am the next morning so “plan accordingly.” So I did and left immediately.

First impression, reeks like weed. It’s legal, but yuck! Parking lot was has garbage and cigarette buttes everywhere Gal checking us in was pleasant. Most of the Lights in room don’t work. Tub/shower, not sure I want to use it.

Umm there was no customer service at desk took over half hour just to get check in then when family was checked in the room was dirty not clean at all the shower was horrible literally shaving of hair thru out the tub with red seem like blood stain the shower didn’t work in the morning the bed sheets definitely wasn’t changed honestly it was a horrible experience to be honest wasn’t happy at all very disappointed

The staff was helpful, but when I went to check out there was a sign saying someone would be back. I had to get to work so couldn’t wait.
The kitchen sink had a significant leak.
Employees were very nice, just not well handled.
