Room was generally clean abd very spacious. A few areas not cleaned as well. Our a/c worked well but was very loud - as though someone had put marbles in it and they were moving around. The pool was WAY too warm for a summer day and the tiles on the walls looked like they were badly damaged and quickly put on. But there were clean towels and the general pool/hot tub area were clean.

Guest who used our room before us, spilled a lot of coffee, or something like it on the carpet. Carpet was wet and smelly, apparently the cleaning staff didn't notice it, somehow. I mentioned this to the Hotel helpline, twice. Got nowhere, crickets.

We had a tight meeting schedule or I would have pushed harder for some type of simple resolution. As a person who frequents this area, I'll skip this place on next months trip.

We stayed in a King Suite with a pullout couch. The presentation was nice but the room was set up more for one person. A small table but only one chair. Several decorative lights on the walls but no overhead light. Bathroom shower massage was nice. We had to ask for more than one set of towels, and sheets and blankets for the pullout. It was nice for the price.

The bed linens were clean but disappointing. No top coverlet, just sheets and a very light blanket. The breakfast was ok with enough seating. Would have appreciated Decaf coffee at breakfast.

The room and property were clean. I did not get the room type I reserved. They gave me a double queen suite instead of a king suite. Plus, the room they gave me was an accessible room, so the beds were very low to the ground. The desk had a broken leg and was basically unusable. To me, this was not a big issue, but it might have been to a business traveler. When I reported that I got the wrong room type and that the desk was broken, I was told that I received the very last room available. If I didn’t want the room, they would cancel my reservation and I could get a refund for a non-refundable room. Then, four people checked in after me. So, how did I get the last room? Anyway, the staff was friendly, but unhelpful. The property was clean and looked to be fairly updated. I would probably give them another try.

First off the prices were reasonable and the property was beautiful and luxurious! My first impression after we walked thru the entry way was WOW! High ceilings and open space. Huge area for hanging out with family and friends.

The pool area was small and we didn't have the time to use it however the floor to ceiling windows made the space more appealing and would have been awesome to hang out at in the evening!

The room we had was more than I could have even wished for. For the price we paid for the room I was more than satisfied and wish we could have stayed another night. Black out curtains. King bed pull out couch with a wall in between the two. The bathroom too not h. Microwave, Keurig, and small fridge. Perfect for us.

I would definitely recommend and stay again if I was in the area.

The room was minimally clean. The sheets looked like someone already slept in them. One of the three bath towels was so bleach eaten it was see through. I asked to have 4 towels, a blanket and 4 pillows, but I got two bath towels, no blanket and no pillow.

Who gives a king suite with two people; three pillows, 3 towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth. When I asked at the front desk, I was told I could come get it. One remote for two TV and be told repeatedly, they only give one remote per room. The night staff made it seem like she was doing us a favor to come get a second remote from the front desk

Over all, the quality of this hotel has changed. I stayed here a couple of years ago and had a great time. I suggested this hotel for our stay. Another guest said the same thing.

Breakfast was not that awesome. I could have run to the gas station and gotten better food.

There was only 1 operating elevator with a packed hotel! The landscaping around the building was in horrible shape. with tons of weeds all around the building...looked like a vacant property that was not being taken care of. On Saturday, the front desk worker was more interested in scrolling on her phone than attending to the guests...busy morning, water container empty, garbage cans over-flowing by the dining area. The cleaning service was horrible. Our stay was for 3 nights; I requested fresh towels and for our 1 small garbage can to be emptied. I received the fresh towels, but our garbage was never emptied until we tracked down one of the cleaners and asked for a garbage bag, which stayed in our room full of garbage for the rest of our stay! Due to the condition of the landscaping and the horrible service, I will not stay at this hotel in the future.

Our stay was terrible, my fiancés powder band got stolen and the hotel did nothing about it. And the room did not get clean the whole time we were there! We had to begged them to clean the room and they did it once! The pillows were so uncomfortable and small, the comforter was a mess! And some of the staffs were rude!

We had an ironing board that was broken so we could not use it. The iron was unusable, the pillows (if you want to call them that ) were horrible.

The ice maker was completely filthy.
And to top it all off we had no water on our final morning there. So no showers!!

Will never ever stay there again. Or even recommend it to anyone.

This was the worst experience my family and I have ever had staying at a hotel. The staff and manager at this establishment are aweful! I wish I would have read into more reviews before staying here.

On night one of check in, the staff were very unpleasant, they looked like they didnt want to be there. They had signs up saying that the pool and hot tub were shut down. I was not notified via text or anything that they were shutting the pool down.

When I asked why the pool was shut down they said the health department came in and said their P.H. levels were too high. Immediately called them out on that. They charged my card several times with a $200 incidental Hold, becaise they had a glitch in their system. After getting up to our room, there were beard hairs/public hair on the toilet and sink in the bathroom.

The door to our room was fully broken and wouldnt shut. You could go in and out with out a key. After expressing all of this to staff, and asked to speak with a manager they told me they didnt have her number. I eventually got a call from the manager named Paulina, who was extremely disrespectful and rude.

I will never be staying at a choice hotels Hotel ever again! There were 6 other families during our Stay that had very unpleasant interactions with staff, and this hotel being a 1 star hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!

If I could rate zero stars I would. When I checked into our room I had a cake and balloons to decorate the room for a birthday. We had FIVE people in our room that sleeps five!! That INCLUDED a five month old baby!! The front desk staff knocked on our door and proceeded to tell me that we would have to leave the hotel because they do not allow parties in the room. Mind you I traveled FOUR hours and only had the five of us in the room but because I had the audacity to bring balloons and a cake I would be “police escorted out” if I didn’t comply. After talking to management they claimed they would break their “own rule” and allow us to stay with a $600 hold on our room. I paid since we were so far from home and I knew we were NOT having a party. We were simply trying to surprise my niece with something special for her golden birthday! I was utterly shocked by the rudeness that management gave and for that I will NEVER stay here again. Also I called the Hampton and they said they would not only allow balloons and a cake but allow me to get into the room early to help with the surprise. It is unfortunate because the hotel was nice but this experience was absolutely horrible!

Staff was absolutely awesome!!! I made the reservation, then realized I would be extremely late. I called to let them know and they accomodated me so well checked me in prior to midnight then confirmed my ID when I arrived just before 3 A.M., in fact made me feel so welcome it was a breath of fresh air when compared to other hotels that have stated they can't even let me stay when I check in after midnight! Room was excellent...not sure if it was intentional but lights were on when I opened up my room which made it feel welcoming as well and the room was nicely updated, breakfast was pretty good included hot food all of which was great! Security guard was awesome!!!

Ended up having to leave. Unbelievable unprofessional staff at check-in. Arrangement had been in place for us to pay at the property and for a late arrival the evening of check-in, approved that day. Arrived to check in and the room with my name attached had someone else in it with a $200 hold as well. Inquired about getting my name removed with someone else had checked in and was not me- staff said she must not have verified their ID and management would have to approve my name being removed, the staff member briefly left the counter to check the room and refused to give us a different room. She said you won’t be happy here you have to leave. She also did not remove my name from the room when I called the hotels corporate office I was still checked in the next morning. I demanded my name be removed from the room and the $200 hold removed under my name when I wasn’t the person utilizing the room. She said she needed management approval. We had to find another hotel at 11PM that night. Scary to say the least! uncertain we would be able to find another property with an open room so late. Another 10 minute drive to a different chain we got lucky. I filed a police report in case our money is not refunded. I would like to utilize the insurance I paid for, due to the inconvenience and for them not properly checking identification upon check in allowing some random person to be in a room with my name and credit card attached.

We got to the hotel and the first thing we encountered was a broken elevator so we had to wait 5 minutes for the elevator. We get to the room and there was no bedding available and we called the front desk and asked for them to send some up to us and they asked us to come get them. The next morning the breakfast was bare- there was no hot food available and it was 7:45 in the morning. We go back upstairs to get our stuff and we wanted ice- no ice in the ice machine. It was a very disappointing experience- we won’t be returning to this hotel.

The rooms were not cleaned adequately. My two year old found dirty socks, water bottles , candy wrappers in our “ cleaned” room. I booked for 4 people. I had 3 towels and two wash cloths that were just thrown on the bathroom sink. Did you see that cool picture of the hot tub? Me too -- That's why I booked this property! I was in Maple Grove for a family function, and the thought of a great hot tub at the end of the day sounded fantastic. Unfortunately, the hot tub and the pool were closed for maintenance. Apparently, there was a notice about it on the hotel website, but because we booked through Expedia we were not given that information. We asked the hotel for a discount, since the primary amenity we were looking for was not available, and they flat out said no.

Breakfast: OK. There was the same tray of Original Flavor Instant Oatmeal every day. No utensils except plastic forks (spoons, anyone?).

The room: OK. My pet peeve is that hotel room designers refuse to recognize that travelers have suitcases. Luggage. Bags. And when you get into your room you want to put that bag somewhere accessible. I HATE putting my suitcase on the floor. It's just stupid. I called the front desk and asked for a luggage rack -- there are none in the hotel. So I put my suitcase on the couch, which means I couldn't sit on the couch.

The mini-fridge (there was one, thank you) was in a curved cabinet that didn't fit the fridge -- one front leg was in mid-air, so the fridge was constantly tipping and banging.

Staff: Housekeeping was great. Front desk was cold and off-putting.

Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but I think you can do better.

That’s never happened to me at a hotel. Then the hot tub didn’t work. I won’t be booking at that hotel again.
