Staff was VERY accommodating when we asked for a room on the first floor. We didn't use the pool/hot tub or have breakfast in the morning so I cannot comment on that. The room was quiet and clean.

The pool was like an ice box and the hot tub was down, the fridge didn’t work, there was men’s pee on the back of the toilet in our room, we asked for extra towels the front desk person gave us wet ones, the breakfast was limited and wasn’t even hot, and the ice machine was down.

Beautiful hotel, clean quiet area with food/gas nearby. My room was big and clean with comfortable furniture/bed. Friendly, helpful staff and reasonably priced. Only complaint I have, was the smell of grease/food that filled the hotel, including my room the one night. It was strong enough to wake me up. Not sure what it was, but glad I wasn't staying another night.

The room was not clean at all and it smelled extremely stale like no one had been in there for months. The staff told me they would try to find me a “good” room after I said it was unacceptable. My response was why didn’t I get a “good” room in the first place. We ended up not staying and insisting a refund.

I believe this hotel is under new ownership. It appears that they are making improvements. The carpets look fresh and there are new chairs in the sitting area. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, tea and coffee
The pool was open but the hot tub was not.

Absolutely terrible experience- if I could give zero stars, I would! The hotel smelled very strongly of cleaning agents which resulted in me getting a terrible headache after 30 minutes of being there. We traveled with a group for a sports event. One of the rooms had a clogged toilet- how could they have cleaned the room and not notice?! Comforters were also dirty, as were the remaining bathrooms (sinks and toilets. Breakfast is minimal and bad - only toast, bagel with only cream cheese and powder eggs as option. The hot tub is permanently closed and wrapped in caution tape. They charge an extra $10 per person per use for pool use! We had to leave after 1 night (we had booked 2) because of the unbearable smell. Staff were very unfriendly and unaccommodating when I tried to explain the situation.
Would never return- stay away!!!

This property is very average. Clean rooms and hallways. Breakfast is very ordinary. Bagels, packaged cinnamon rolls, brown bread and white bread, scrambled eggs probably made from powder, sausage patties with no taste, and do it yourself waffles, which nobody used. Coffee, hot water for tea and orange juice are available. Very blah. There was no other hotel nearby so if it’s the only choice, it’s probably fine for sleeping and showering.

The bathroom smelled so strongly of mold I left and found other accommodations. The room had a window on the ground floor that didn't feel secure at all. When I arrived I had to call the front desk staff to check in. Which meant no one was keeping an eye on who wad entering and leaving the building. As a single woman I felt extremely unsafe.

Did not appreciate a passive aggressive note on ice machine in lobby after i filled a small cooler with ice. I paid more than a fair price to stay there and if i need ice i will get what i need, if yhe management has a problem with that they need to find a different line of work.

The proprietor was not at the front desk when we arrived. You had to call for him on a phone. The instructions for doing this were clear. Breakfast was ok. Several lightbulbs were burned out through out the hotel. The air conditioning was not plugged in. Two conditioners instead of shampoo. Not a big deal until your in the shower. Just an ok place.

Couldn’t even stay there, cause we had someone under 18 with us, and we weren’t her guardians. Had to stay somewhere else. Asked for money back with this protection plan we purchased, but said they could not cause I booked from a third party. Very sad and unfortunate. That was no where posted on their website, or Expedia’s website.

Took a long time to check in, walls are very thin, breakfast did not taste good and thay did not have much food, hot tub was not working our entire stay, they charged $10 for each extra person in the pool that were not staying there. Workers spoke very little english at front desk.

Did not swap towels per day. They claim they do not do this because of Covid. Creepy family living in the property wandering the halls at night. No towels in the pool area. Rude receptionist. Room door keys would constantly stop working, so we had to exchange. They kept telling us to stop putting in by our cell phones. Not our first hotel stay. Carpet in our room was buckling. Beds were garbage. $200 per night. Way overpriced. Stay away.

I wanted to get a hotel on NYE that was close by a local concert we where going to attend.We wanted a two person jacuzzi and and continental breakfast in the morning. I found a suit online on Expedia at the American Inn with a fireplace and a jacuzzi but the jacuzzi wouldnt fit two people:(but fire was a nice bonus for us!!All of this for $200…We got there and there was nobody up front and we had to call them to get someone to check us in.When we got to our room it was freezing they turn off all the heat in the rooms,so we quickly turned on the heat and the fireplace(thank goodnesses for the fireplace)the room warmed up quickly,with out it,the heater would

The hotel is seriously overpriced! Paid about $175 with Hotel.com. Americinn price was $211 + tax. Ridiculous for a 30 year old motel. The breakfast was awful. “Take and go”! Never again will we stay there!

Had such a nice stay at the AmericInn. Extremely accommodating staff. I had 2 separate reservations for 2 rooms and they were able to put us in rooms next to each other with a conjoined door. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in town

A so-so hotel for a premium price. Hotel was nothing fancy, but expensive for the condition it was in. Beds were great, HVAC was adequate, and nice and quiet. Pool was open and had to ourselves, and breakfast in the morning was average. The only hang-up was the price. Meh overall

The location is great. Its not in a big city or anything, but its not a bad neighborhood. My husband asked the lady at the front desk if it was possible to get a late check out since it was Valentine's day and she immediately replied \"NO!\" not \"sorry, but we can't do that, i apologize\", it was rude. The room was decent, the faucet handles were dirty, so that was gross. There was a homeless looking dude taking stuff off the cart that had the room supplies, then my husband said he saw him in a room \"cleaning\" it for a really long time, not sure what that was about. The halls smelled like bar soap in the morning. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless i really had to. I typically love Americinn's but this one kind of turned me off.

Breakfast worker did not show for work and desk clerk was struggling to care for guests and get very limited breakfast out. I had an early meeting, so was quite disappointed with lack of any protein option before I had to go. Bed was okay and room was clean. That rooms machinery was a bit quieter than some places I have been.
