When we stayed, the hotel was undergoing renovations, so it was not as clean as usual, and some of the amenities were unavailable. However, the room itself was very clean and fully functional. In addition, the hotel staff was extrememly helpful and friendly. As an example, we witnessed several people request food from the restaurant as it was closing up, but the staff stayed late to serve the people.

Hotel was a good stop for a quick trip. If you’re planning to go to the nearby lake, it’s a nice spot. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. There’s a great trail to follow near the hotel and the hotel is close to the freeway.
Lauren
Front desk staff were very friendly, updated room with very comfortable beds! Spa was down however the pool was enjoyable and good temperature.
LaTona
Property was under construction, but what was done was nice. There was a lacrosse team that was staying there and the children were very rowdy during the stay and at the pool maybe some stricter rules on parents watch in their children.
Scott
Staff was courteous. Room was very comfortable. Wait to check in was a bit long, but we checked in at busy time.
Jakab
Good place

The room was pretty clean and it was quiet there for a Saturday night. There was confusion if we had a free breakfast or not so we didn't bother.
Remy
Disappointed
Ben
We had a horrible stay. The pool was being renovated and the hotel did not disclose this information prior to us booking the room. There were ICE protestors right outside our room both nights we stayed and woke us up at midnight. Also, the treadmill and peloton bike were not working. We are extremely disappointed and we will not be staying here again.

The staff is super nice, helpful and knowledgeable.
The room was clean and have all the necessary supplies, it was quiet and pleasant.
- About the amenities the fitness room had a strong smell of Clorox that was very uncomfortable. Truly make you sick.
- it came to our attention that the hot water used for hot drinks comes from the faucet, they don boil the water, it is terrible and completely unhealthy. I hope they change this

Great service. Bed was comfortable. Food was pretty good as well

Staff is super friendly. The beds were comfy. We stayed on the third floor and it was pretty quiet. Breakfast is good but I recommend buying the breakfast with Expedia. You will save $4 per a person.
Benjamin
Staff was helpful. However, someone programmed the alarm clock to go off at 4 AM & we couldn't seem to turn it off. When we returned the clock to the desk & told them we didn't want an alarm clock in the room, a maintenance person tried to put one back & it took some convincing to get him to leave with the clock. Also, the HVAC system took a long time to adjust the temperature. Also, no housekeeping on Thanksgiving & we had to pick up new towels at the desk. Several of the gym machines were non-functional & the printer in the business center also didn't work (although the staff helped with a work around). Just seemed a bit much for a hotel charging extra for breakfast.
Robert
In need of upgrade and repair. Temperature poorly regulated. Fitness center with several non-working machines. Alarm clock woke us up several times at 4 AM. HOWEVER, STAFF WAS PLEASANT & HELPFUL
Irene
Room was spotless, shampoo container was near empty and wouldn’t pump but I let front desk know, staff was courteous and helpful .. I’d stay again if need too!
Tami
The personal touch from the office staff texting and asking if there was anything they could help with. When I needed printer assistance, they made it happen even though their system was down. The food in the restaurant was superb!
Jean
We appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Property was clean, although our room could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly.
Hugo
Quick check in and property very clean and good around here.
Bonnie
Staff was amazing but breakfast was not worth it.
Patrick
Friendly, attentive staff. Fabulous location for my trip. I liked it so much I booked a future stay.
Laurie
The nightly charge was reasonable. The staff was friendly. All areas were clean. I would stay here again!!

Paid extea to have in room jacuzzi. It did not work. Reported to front desk. Was told they would look into it. Never heard a word from them. Would never stay in a place that doesnt deliver what was paid for.
James
Location worked welm for us. Price was reasonable. Staff was super friendly.

The bar and kitchen staff were absolutely phenomenal, and the food was great. However, I found the hotel's approach to breakfast to be quite misleading. Many frequent travelers expect a hot breakfast to be included with their stay, but here, you walk down to grab a plate of eggs and bacon, only to be hit with a $16 bill. While the quality of the breakfast was excellent, the cost feels excessive and should be made much clearer upfront.
Sheila
These team members are extra special! Love this place.
Dennie
Pool looked nice but chemicals hurt your eyes when entering
KIM
The staff were all so wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and went out of their way to make our 5 night stay pleasant.
Stephanie
I had just checked out from the filthiest hotel room I have ever seen. My experience here was a complete 180. From the grounds pulling up, entrance and lobby, staff, hallways, room, everything was so much more homey. I immediately felt safer, cleaner, and more at home. Will stay here again!
Scott
This is an older Hilton property but it was well maintained. I asked at check in on breakfast was included (because I know at Garden in s it is typically not) and the attendant told me yes and gave me the hours. Much to my surprise it was not included because I did not have a voucher.
eleana
The front desk Staff was nice. The room tho we noticed when we left there were ants in the bathroom and on the counter. My husband had ants in his shirt. And my son had ants in his pants that we noticed in the car.
Cindy
This was a nice property. It was quiet and and the beds were clean and comfortable. It is a bit dated, tiny tv’s!

Decent stay
Clean room, nice staff. Somebody had their tv turned up all the way, so didn’t sleep well. The comforter was a little thin.

The left buttons on the elevator don’t always work on the first and second floor.
We got back to the hotel after 11 but our key card didn’t work to get in the side door.
The pancakes for breakfast were not very good.
The beds were kinda hard and uncomfortable.
The staff were all very nice.
The hotel looked very clean.

Staff is super friendly and go out of their way to help and be nice. Love the indoor pool and jacuzzi.
Randall
The bar and restaurant staff were excellent! Their kindness and hospitality was one of the best I have ever seen! I truly enjoyed myself! The downside is the property needed some work. Ice machine was broken on 2nd floor and noticed some work needed to be done internally.

Excellent

Expedia did what they do. They change selected reservations. Twice since November they have changed my flights to one I didn't select. Their whim applies to hotel bookings. I selected a corner suite for this hotel only to arrive and have a totally different room. The answer is always the same. \"You booked with a third party.agent.\" Book direct. Thats my advice. This Hilton is a.flop hotel for high-school sports teams. Avoid it unless you're traveling for sports. Its loud and messy.
Amy
This is a lovely hotel that is pet friendly. It was easy to take the dogs outside and well-lit. I definitely felt safe. The staff was very friendly as well. I definitely can recommend the Hilton Garden Inn in Eden Prairie!
Julie
Slipped and fell hard on the steps getting into the hot tub. They are slippery as heck as well as the tile around the general pool area. Bed in our room had no box spring, sat on cut plywood boards on a frame. The most uncomfortable nights sleep ever at a hotel. No Manager on staff to discuss our issues.
Tami
Conveniently close to people I was visiting.
Jean
Property was clean but missing some bathroom items (no kleenex), mattress sagged to the middle and was too soft, pillows were old and obviously seen better days.
Deborah
Hilton gardens was in an ideal location; however, the hotel needed much updating.
Tabitha
Overall a good place to stay. Rooms were average, need some updating, but pretty clean. We paid for breakfast when we booked, but were handed a $30 bill at breakfast. Turns out the front desk was supposed to give us vouchers. I wish they would have done this at check in. Otherwise, everything with our stay was pretty good. Staff was very friendly.
Noel
Good and enjoyable
Robert
People are very friendly behind the counter and serving you dinner!
Barbara
Overall not good
Insufficient suuply of toilet paper. Refrigerator leaked. Coffee suuplies inadequate; the packet was missing creamer and a stir stick. No ammenties for the price, i.e. fre breakfast. No advance info regarding they hold 50.00 for incidents until check out. Would not stay here again.
JOHN
I had a good stay. The property is a little old and showing some age, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is a big deal to me and the room was alright. Not great but alright. I didn’t have a TV remote in my room, which is not a big deal but take note I couldn’t use my TV. I did use the gym twice—it’s small but if yo’re resourceful you can get a full workout.
Dana
Very nice place!
Alecia
The bartender provided good service. Overall very nice facility. Chair in the room was in poor condition

Comfortable Place and Friendly Staff
Very clean, very comfortable, very friendly staff! I wish they had a free breakfast, but the food was delicious!

Only wish breakfast was included.

Very nice hotel!
The only thing that surprised me was the slippery pool deck. My sister slipped on her way to get a towel. The girls we visited with in the hot tub said that the last time they stayed one of them fell getting into the hot tub (because the steps are slanted) and bruised her hip, and they witnessed a lady who slipped and fell hitting her head on the concrete wall!
These are safety issues that should be addressed immediately. There is no excuse for this!

Not terrible, but not spectacular either
Our stay was okay. I forgot that Hilton charges for Wi-Fi access if you aren't a rewards member -- I became one, but didn't want to. I hate that nickle-and-diming nonsense. Also not thrilled with a $13 breakfast buffet that wasn't any better than what most chains provide free with your room. Conditioner was empty in the shower, which wasn't discovered until taking a shower. :-(. Housekeeping was annoying wanting to clean the room while our do not disturb sign was out.
Highlights were a comfortable bed, spacious room, good location, and a nicely heated pool.

Very few places to eat. Ice maker not working. 1 elevator Not working. No kitchen staff for happy hour even though they were advertising for it. Very loud with banquet going on. Lots of kids running up and down the hallways.
Michael
One elevator not working. Ice machine not working. Said there was appetizer specials at a specific time but did not have it.

Perfect location for suburban neighborhood stay!
I love the location of this hotel. It’s 3-4 miles from the neighborhood my parents live in and I grew up in, so it was the ideal place to stay when in town visiting my parents. VERY close to food options, shopping options and accessible to get around town.
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms fairly updated.
My only frustration is with the toilet that ran until the stopped was shut manually a few times and some of the bathroom floor tiling coming up.
The suite with a living room had a lot of space when planning to stay more than a few days.

Dining in hotel. Staff very helpful
Melissa
The only thing that is unfortunate about our stay, is the $9 breakfast, instead of it being complimentary. We are away from home, and a complimentary hot meal would be wonderful.
Lynn
It was only 3 miles from the event we were attending the next day.
David
Everything was great until i had to pay for breakfest
Kimberly
Great Stay
Great front desk experience upon checkin, super clean and comfortable room. Only minus was the pillows which we didn’t find comfortable at all, but that’s personal preference. Overall great stay.

Amazing rooms and great service! We did have an issue with opening the room door after using the key card. 5 trips to the lobby to get help. No one could get the door open. Finally the manager found a way to help.

Girls mud run trip
It was wonderful. My daughters enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed that the pool area wasn’t overly warm but also that the pool didn’t feel like ice. It was great! The staff were wonderful as well. Everyone was helpful when needed and pleasant to interact with.

Nice stay. Cant complain.

Very nice hotel and room very clean. We would definitely stay again. Maybe more attention to detail (at least at the time of our stay) would be nice. First room we were given the air/heat control was not working for the lack of batteries, but once replaced it still was not functioning so we were given a new room. Also the hair conditioner dispenser had no conditioner.
Ellen
always satisfied
room was clean and nice, staff was helpful

Disappointed in Hilton
Hot tub broken but instead of draining it it has clearly been broken with stale water for a while. Green scum is building up in it. Our room was clean looking but trash wasn’t emptied so not Sure how thoroughly it was cleaned. Hot water took a long time (5+ mins) before shower was warm.
Verified traveler
The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Our only complaint was the overabundance of chemicals in the hot tub making the second night of our stay making it hard to stay in it as our eyes started burning and watering.
Werner
Very nice accommodations
Julienne
Nothing unique here.. older property, broken ice machine, limited amenities. Was not told at check in that we had to request maid service a day ahead so we had no maid service all weekend.
Dorothy
Great staff. Love the hot tub and patio area. Laundry was convenient.
Mark
Had a good stay. Location served my needs.
Kelly
Close enough to downtown to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet
Kevin
Staff was very friendly, though house keeping tried coming into room prior to us checking out and didn't hear them knock.
Biggest complaint is the breakfast, was not impressed or pleased that i had to pay $20 for me and my 2 kids to eat crappy milk carton eggs (which i later got sick from) over heated, sausage patties so thin the tongs couldn't even pick them up. If you're going to charge ppl for breakfast, at least have fresh eggs and better sausage.

Nice property, in a quiet part of Eden Prairie. Clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Would stay again.
Nathan
Wonderful but terrible mattresses
Hotel was super nice. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great location. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The only thing to complain about was the mattress. The most uncomfortable mattress ever. Like sleeping on a board.
jq
all staff was very friendly and helpful. very nice rooms and public areas. will definitely stay again
Lisa
