The Sheraton Bloomington as always is clean, cool, quiet and comfortable. Especially that it is a good pet friendly hotel. The pet friendly rooms are as clean as the other rooms, I should add. The staff is friendly and professional, it’s like a home away from home, as this hotel has been our preferred Minneapolis place for about the past ten years.
Our chihuahuas love the place, and having a clean, grassy area to walk and do business on. We love the location, and the morning coffee in the club room.

Pros: comfy beds, allows dogs with no extra charge, plenty of parking, staff was mostly friendly, plenty of room in the room, late check out only 25.00.

Cons: very dated hotel with some upgrades, furnace in bedroom (prefer ind. window unit), hotel had a strange vibe, ghost staff.

It was fine for this trip, but we won't be staying there again. Hotel is very old with some updates (paint, carpet, etc). We prefer newer and fully staffed hotels. It felt like a ghost town.

always comfortable to be at the hotel. Our little dogs actually know the place, and treat it as their home away from home. The staff knows us, our dogs, and treat us great. The area is safe, no rowdy partiers, and is it quiet. Also the bed is comfortable.

We had a nice comfortable room with comfortable beds. Unfortunately, it smelled like it might’ve been previously a smoking room because there was the scent of a smoker in the room. We were too tired to ask for a room switch so we stayed.
Furthermore, there is an accidental fire alarm at 3 AM where we had to get out of bed and stand outside the building for about 15 to 30 minutes.

Comfortable bed and a nice walk-in shower with plenty of hot water, my top two criteria. That said, I expected a little more from a Sheraton - maybe breakfast, or a pool. This place was fine, and a convenient location for this trip, just nothing special.

Overpriced and old, but clean

The hotel is old but clean- I paid extra for the club lounge- which was a room with a tv and bottle water- the same as my actual room. The window actually looked into the foyer of the hotel- so that made the room somewhat dark and devoid of natural sunlight. The front desk would not allow uber to deliver my breakfast - so I had to go down 6 floors - walk across an indoor bridge and then back to my room ( a 5 min walk) due to security. It’s wasn’t that far, but first thing in the morning without my coffee- it was more work then I wanted to do for $300 a night

Holiday Weekend

Always a great stay at the Sheraton. Our chihuahuas know the place as we have stayed here for the past 8 years. Quiet, cool, and comfortable, with a. great and friendly staff. It's too bad the fancy coffee machine was broken.. but that is something that life deals. The Lela restaurant was great for breakfast, though.

Morning staff was rude. Also: we arrived 20 minutes before they stopped serving breakfast and were not allowed to have breakfast. It was clear the staff wanted to leave early.

I’m a bit surprised that this place has the ratings it does. The location was fine and the hotel itself met decent standards for cleanliness. However, it was hot and muggy thoroughout the building and despite having set our room thermostat to 60, the room never cooled down. I know there was a heat wave, but I’m also wondering if the building needs an upgrade. We also lost power for about 30-45 minutes making the room even more warm. Though the power loss was out of the hotels control, staff were not helpful. The rooms also lacked a microwave and the TV was very old, lacking Netflix, Hulu, etc.

I asked if there was room service at check in, and was told the kitchen was open 4-10, no mention of any cutoff times. At 9:37, after rushing back to the room in time, we called and were told the kitchen was closed, and that room service wasn’t an option.
Then, about 30 minutes later, decided to utilize the 24/7 fitness studio, and there were 2 pedestals with the fabric band between blocking off the fitness room.

Frustrating that the amenities were not available as advertised.
