The night staff is very unapolegetic with his first mistake by giving us a room which is not ready to be occupied. The next room he gave us the door is not opening. Knob has it’s weird way to open that the night staff can only open it and even gave us attitude when he did it. Sink faucet not working so is the hair dryer. Floor is very sticky.

Didn’t get the type of room I booked and even I brought it to the attention of hotel staff they lied and told me they upgraded me to a room with two double beds. I didn’t want two double beds and that room actually rented for less than The room with one king bed I looked it up. Hotel stunk like pot and floors were sticky. Terrible experience won’t advise anyone stay here.

We booked a room to stay the evening before flying out and have a shuttle ride to the airport. Out front was a bunch of people smoking and loitering around. We got there at 10:20pm. We checking in and were on the 3rd floor. The whole floor smelled of cigarette and marajuana. Our room was disgusting. No coffee machine- cups only. The walls were splattered with who knows what and were very dirty! Everywhere. Cigarettes burns in the tub. The shower was a very small drizzle coming out- couldn’t even shower. So disappointed in this Super 8. Had it not been so late we would have went elsewhere. In the morning we went down for 530 shuttle , we were down at 520. The shuttle came a little late , pulled up and went to take luggage to back and there was a big puddle of vomit. On the bench was some guy smoking marijuana and then passed out while we were waiting so couldn’t even sit and wait! I would like a refund !!

Second floor carpet was coming up and can trip on it
Room was dirty made our feet black
Tub was stain brown at bottom
Didn’t have extra blanket or even an extra sheet when asked said they were completely booked and had nothing when that’s pretty hard to believe to not even have an extra sheet.
Breakfast don’t believe the photos: no waffles, limited bakery items and only two cereals to choose from for the kids.

From the front desk to the room every step was terrible, I’ve never been in a hotel room where I wished I had sandals to walk around in, and the bed was caved in the middle, the whole building reeked of questionable smells from mildew to cigarettes to old food. I would give this place no stars if I could but since the manager did finally refund one of my rooms after I told the guy I was just going to go to my bank and do a charge back. The day time guy was a total a$$. My mistake for booking the wrong room. I thought I was getting 2 queen not 2 doubles. Is what it is. One of the rooms that my daughter was going to stay in, mind you she just turned 18, the window would not shut all the way, I had to go force it shut and move it in a way to where it could not be opened. The ac unit was disgusting. Not only did it not work very well but it was full of mold and the whole face of the unit was on the floor. The day guy did offer a different room but all the way on the 3rd floor. She did not feel safe in a place she had never been. So she stayed the one night. The manager did finally get back to me and said he refunded the one night which is great but clean up the place and get that day guy some customer service training.

Amenities are basic - no smart TV or tea/coffee facilities in the room - and the furniture has definitely seen better days, but in terms of the things you actually need, the rooms have everything. Fridge (larger than at most hotels), microwave, outlets to charge devices including USB, alarm clock, hotel shuttle, free breakfast - it's all there. If you're okay with a no-frills experience, this is undoubtedly the best value place you'll find near the airport.
Unfortunately, there was a cleanliness issue on my visit. The room seemed clean, but when I got into the bed I noticed a number of hairs on the bedsheet that immediately made me question whether the housekeeping had fully changed the bedding. It made for an uneasy night's sleep on what would otherwise have been a lovely visit.

The photos are deceiving. The building is run down and in need of a total renovation. The towels are filthy. Not sure exactly how they “wash” them, but every new towel we asked for had stains. I understand it’s probably not the staff’s fault, but their resources are just lacking—we felt bad for them. Housekeeping was also scarce—couldn’t even get out trash changed out after asking. Most of the time, staff couldn’t respond to us about getting the room cleaned or getting a new set of towels. Overall, poorly managed property.

Room was clean but things were falling apart and had a weird smell. The smell walking down the hallway was either mildew, bleach, or cannabis. Staff just seemed to hate their job. The breakfast was basic and by the end, food was running out and the room was a mess.

The biggest issue was that when I booked it, the listing said it had a hot tub. It doesn’t, but even if it did, I would be hesitant to go in it due to the maintenance issues I saw around the place. Has a fitness center but wasnt much in it.

I can see why it was so cheap.

Also infuriating was the airport shuttle. I was told it only runs once an hour at the 30 but you still have to request it for it to even run. I had to go down and request at 10 am, then wait in the lobby to get picked up at 1030.

The place is moderately walkable. A pedestrian bridge spans the freeway. A bus stops right in front.

Pictures showed a hot tub there isn’t one. Cops were there when we arrived as well as someone sleeping outside across on the lawn so probably not a safe place to be a single woman or bring kids to.

I really liked this inexpensive hotel.. It was on the bus lines and easy to get to from the airport or you could take their shuttle. They shuttled to you the Mall of American on the half hours and you get easy light rail transit downtown or to St. Paul to all the stadiums. Bus routes ran in front of the hotel or a block and a half away. The breakfast was standard but no waffle maker. My room was clean, the furniture was older.

Not much of a choice for eating except burgers in close walking area. The area was safe.
taking bus 18 downtown another option went through some rough areas especially at night.

I would stay there again.

The shuttle was very nice! Had a very bad night at the airport and was still able to call for one at 2am. During the day it came every 30 minutes and scheduling a pickup was easy and only took a few seconds.

Our room itself was clean, but the beds werent made. So at 2am we had to fumble with the sheets and blankets to prep the beds. It wasnt a fun experience after a 14 hour travel day being absolutely exhausted.

A lot of reviews commented on the cleanliness of the property and I have to agree they need to do way better with the rooms and the entire building. Just because it’s a 2 star hotel doesn’t mean it needs to look run down. The owners know the property needs a makeover asap. Stop being trifling and fix the place up.

The plus was the 24 hour shuttle that can take you back and forth to the airport and mall of America, their coffee is oddly very good, and the staff was cool. The location was perfect.

I wouldn’t stay again because this place needs to be fixed up. I seen bugs in the bathroom, they need new towels and sheets, my face and upper body broke out from sleeping there. And some of the other occupants are very sketchy, some were drunk and on something. And a few normal people passing through as well. It was an odd mix. Oh and there was an ICE/Drug bust during my two nights there…so theres that. You get what you pay for.
