This hotel very nice for the price point I booked at which is greatly appreciated when overall travel expenses are on the rise. Complimentary parking is also a great perk! The only two disappointments I had was the low water pressure for the shower and that the TVs did not have the capability for streaming services.
It would be helpful if the front desk had a cheat sheet of amenities, especially more info on the breakfast buffet.
Overall, great stay and would book here again if able to get the same competitive rate.

The shuttle bus driver has some great suggestions on where to dine and things to do in the area.
The beds are wonderful and clean.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very close to the airport so you will hear the plains going overhead, and they do come overhead low. But the noise is not disturbing.
I will always stay at this hotel when I am in the area.

Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff was courteous, but our stay was unfortunately cut short after we discovered what appeared to be a baby roach crawling on the wall in our room. Because of this, we left very early the following morning rather than completing our planned stay.
Additionally, the breakfast did not meet expectations. Given the quality and selection, it would be more appropriate as a complimentary amenity rather than a separately charged offering.
I hope these concerns are addressed, as they significantly impacted our experience.

Absolutely amazing stay. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was clean, as was all of the hotel I visited. The breakfast buffet, while not free, was reasonable ($11-12) and had a good selection of food. The hotel is located right next to Mall of America and other attractions. It is not far from the airport. This hotel is a great value and a fun place to have a safe stay for whatever you need.

Instead of them saying, \"Safe travels. thanks for staying\", or \"have a great day, beautiful safe\", they proceeded instead to stare as I walked away with no pleasantries at all. Let's try greeting every guest , coming and going.

The hotel seems new, all the finishes and furnishings are fresh and clean, and somewhat dramatic. The price was reasonable. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, and the HVAC worked fine. It is very convenient to the metro/light rail system (an easy block-long walk) and close to the MOA as well as nice restaurant.
Sorry, but there are negatives you should be aware of so you won't be caught off guard. The room could best be described as minimalist, as are some of the expected services. There are only 2 tiny drawers in the room, and they are in the coffee/microwave/fridge cabinet. No other drawers for clothing, personal effects, toilet articles in the bedroom or bath. The lighting is minimal, not enough to read in bed. The nightstands have USB ports, but the desk does not. We were told housekeeping would clean the room on our 3rd day (of a 4-night stay) but on the other days, no one visited to pull the trash, refresh the coffee station, replace drinking glasses, etc. We cancelled the cleaning on Day 3 since we were leaving on Day 4. On Day 2, I asked for fresh towels and they brought them to the room. Very necessary because the bathroom has only one towel rod and no exhaust fan. We ended up spreading damp towels throughout the room so they would dry while we were gone during the day.
It's a nice place and we might stay here again but would compare to other options; there are many within a block or two.

Have stayed here on many occasions and never had an issue. The room was not very clean upon check in. I did not make a big deal at the time since I checked in at 2 am. I checked with the front desk about housekeeping since I had been there 3 days and they assured me that I was on the list. Well after getting back late that night it was not done and when brought to their attention it seemed like not a big deal. Very disappointing!

On a positive note the bartender is a true asset to your team. He has a great personality and makes it a very fun environment.

Called again, they brought a new mini fridge, that also did not cool. They removed all of the temperature control knobs from it and stated it worked on detection. It did not keep a bottle of soda cold and our food had to be thrown out. Told them at check out, they didn't seem to care.

Here’s a polished hotel review you can use:

“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The facility was very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep after a long day. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food—the meals were fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding dining experience.

This property was OK and most regards. The big negative was the noise, a constant drone jets taking off. Even earplugs, a white noise machine, and a pillow over the head would not muffle the sound. It’s tolerable between 12 am and 6 am, but if you want to go to sleep earlier than that range or later, it’s going to be problematic. We were needing to stay for two nights due to Delta cancelling a flight, but we decided to cut our losses and got another hotel for the second night. The high numerical rating given the property was misleading. I wish I had looked at the reviews before booking.

Stayed for 1 week on 5th floor.

The Pros:
Convenient
Light rail 1 block away
Breakfast (not free, decent)
On site bar with small menu
Air temp control in room
Reliable internet
Staff at all levels were ALL really, really nice - consistently so
96% of the time it was quiet

The Cons:
Saggy mattress, way too soft, hard to get comfortable
Eco friendly soap/shampoo containers didn't work (empty/bad pumps)
Takes FOREVER to get hot water in sink or shower, wasteful (it got scalding hot but took 4 full minutes to do so)
Fixed running toilet myself 7 times (easy but annoying)
In room coffee pot broke on my last morning there right when I dearly needed a 5am cuppa joe

Lots to like but the bad/saggy mattress and cold water are deal breakers for me.

Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, comfortable, and in a great location near the Mall of America and the airport. However, I had a serious issue during my stay that needs to be addressed.

At check-in, the front desk agent asked if I wanted to use the card on file to cover charges, and I said yes. There was no clear explanation that I needed to physically present my card later to pay the pet fee. Because of that miscommunication, I thought everything was taken care of.

The next day, after leaving for breakfast and shopping, I returned and couldn’t access my room. When I went downstairs, I was told my key had been deactivated because they needed my credit card for the pet fee since I booked through a third party. This was extremely frustrating and inconvenient—especially since all of my belongings, including my child’s medical equipment, were locked inside. Thankfully, it wasn’t an emergency, but it easily could have been.

This situation could have been avoided with proper communication. A simple phone call or email would have resolved the issue instead of locking me out of my room.

To make matters more frustrating, my pet didn’t even stay on the property—I had him checked into a doggy daycare for the entire trip.

While the hotel itself was nice, this experience at the front desk left a negative impression. I hope management improves communication and handles situations like this more appropriately in the future.

Good afternoon,

My wife, our kids, and I booked a stay at the Cambria in their junior suite, and the presentation proved memorable. Upon opening the room door, we viewed a clean modern living room, shower, and bedroom. We would definitely rate this stay as one of our top experiences. The only thing we would change is the absence of streaming service; there are free options the hotel could make use of.

Thanks for reading,
