I wasn't even willing to try the breakfast because of too many issues from get go. Main entrance/handicapped pk area blocked off, forcing us to walk around the hotel to a back door; rediculous amount of potholes in drive way, didnt have the 1st floor room requested a month in advance. toilet pressure so low a plunger was requested/didnt have one-had to switch rooms; worst bed Ive ever slept in a hotel-every spring felt. Four fans set up in front of our room door for some unresolved leak. wallpaper falling from lobby walls, all the curtains needed rehanging. it was HORRIBLE. SHOULD NOT HAVE THE LA QUINTA NAME.

Drove up to the front. Door was busted and entrance moved. Very hard to enter.
Also, not your fault, but road construction made it hard to get to. The parking lot was full of bad potholes.

The door to the room would not close. I had to lift it to close the door. The free shuttle to the hotel was horrible. It said you need to call for a pick up, so I did. They said the van would be there in 10 to 15 mins. Myself and another guess waited 45 mins with no one showing up. We tried to call the property and no answer. We then payed for a lift. When we got to the hotel the doors were locked. It to a while to get someone on the phone to open the doors. When we got in they said they the person driving the van stopped at 10pm. The place is really run down. I will never stay there again.

Main entrance was broken, the carpet was ripped up in the hallway. The hallways smelled terrible it was so disgusting, the beds were all sunken in, the bathroom clearly wasn’t been cleaned, the curtains in the room were all stained. Overall I would never go back. Even the parking lot was filled with many potholes.

Parking lot was full of potholes. The front entrances is broken so they have you go around the building. One of the beds it the room seem like it was broken, giant indent in middle of mattress. Housekeeping kept rudely knocking on door once at 8am and then a second time at 9:30am even though check out time is at 11am. Very rude.

I made a reservation to stay for one night in order to catch an early morning flight. When I arrived the sight of the building, the unkept surroundings and decrepit parking lot and overall unappealing atmosphere made me question the safety and cleanliness of the hotel. I left to stay somewhere else. As a solo female traveler I did not have a good feeling about the hotel.

It was said not to smoke within 25 ft but the smokers always stay at the entrance to smoke. As soon as you get out of the car, all the smoke get into your nose. I don’t like second hand smoke and I don’t like smell that nasty smell. Other than that, everything was good.

Parking was inconvient due to pot holes all over and the front door being broken into? We also found the staff was not nice, barely spoke to us and did not have a nice deamener. The room was clean to a point but it was very rundown and it kept up with. The shower was so short my husband who is 6”4 disliked it and felt the shower could be re done and not worth the price. We use to like staying here and only stayed for the price but next time will be thinking twice about staying here now. Just had some hopes for staying here again as we did 2 years ago and it’s significantly gone down hill since then.

Nothing but a drug house. Passed out drug addicts in hallway, whole place smelled of Marijuana, building falling apart, no electricty in room given, front doors didnt work, back door no lights, parking lot all potholes, very dirty, only one worker who refused to refund my money as I was not going to stay in this unsafe place. Calling for a shuttle from the airport took over an hour. The desk phone was either not picked up at all no matter which option I chose. Messages left were not returned in a timely fashion.
There were no hangers available either in the closet or upon request.
Interior and exterior spaces were littered with trash.
The front entrance was broken (evidently for a few weeks) and unable to use. Required to enter in the back near trash bins and littered parking lot.
Check-out time posted differently at front desk and in rooms. Discrepency let to misunderstanding at front desk.
Tattered furniture.
Soiled, rippled hallway carpets.
Broken showerhead.
Scratched, unpainted walls and doors and torn wallpaper.

Entire hotel stunk. I was afraid to touch anything, let alone lay down in a bed. I am not usually a fussy person and never write complaints, but this one was bad. Brown stains on walls, had to enter through back door as front door was broken, old worn through carpet, I could go on. We left without sleeping here and did not get refunded. We continued our drive because as tired as we were, staying here would have been worse.

Photos online are not indicative of the property. Front door is broken, looked like a drug hotel from the 70’s. Stained carpet, dirty towel in the room, no elevator to the 2nd floor, potholes the size of craters in the parking lot. Debated just going somewhere else but was only going to be there for 6 hours so sucked it up.

I had assumed this hotel would be mostly for people going to the airport like me but it was not actually convenient at all. The front door was broken so i had to go around back to get in and out. There were bo rooms available except the upper floor and no elevator, in spite of me arriving slightly before check in time. When i asked if there was anything that could be done because of my heavy suitcase, the staff person was unpleasant to me. It was noisy at night and the police showed up at one point. The breakfast had nothing fresh, just packaged oatmeal and bagels.

The room was never clear during my 2 days stay. The toilet stopper was old it kept running every night so I ended up having to close the bathroom door. I called for the cable to be fixed, no one came up. Their appeared to be someone sleeping in the hallway the previous night he was there when I returned la to we that day. The AC kept shutting off and never really got cold. The parking lot had potholes the size of small mountains. Several car had broken windows as well.
Breakfast their was only toast, cereal, begals orange juice and apple. Their was no other fruit or other breakfast items available.

Rooms were standard yet clean. Beds sunk in middle yet.. i slept. Property.. POTHOLES EVERYWHERE! DOG FECES OUTSIDE DOORS HARD NOT TO STEP IN. This hotel was awful. There were no microwave or refrigerator in the room. People were noisey and loud. I was scared to go to sleep. There was a man sitting on the floor at the end of the hallway with no shirt on. The customers look like they on drugs. I smelled marijuana in the hallways. The next morning when I was trying to leave there were police everywhere on the premises. I felt unsafe the whole time.

The front entrance was broken and you had to go through the back door which was not secured. It allowed anyone to walk in if they wanted to and the front desk faced the opposite way so the rooms were easily accessible if someone wanted to approach them. The entire hotel smelled of weed and as a woman who was traveling alone and also expecting, and just needed to stay overnight due to a flight issue I did not appreciate all of my belongings smelling when I departed. I had to call the hotel 9 times to get ahold of someone when my airplane arrived and waited 45 minutes before it came. My room had to be switched due to doors not locking/keys not working and still the new room’s deadbolt was not secure at all. I ended up cancelling my second night there because of the safety concerns and just overall surroundings and rebooked somewhere else.

I stayed here for a couple of weeks while waiting for my new apartment. The staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly especially the overnight attendant and the tall gentleman who works in the mornings. The place is very quiet, and I was fortunate enough to get work done remotely without any issues. Highly recommended!

What could improve? Everything. It was dirty, broken, including the parking lot. It was one of the most disgusting places I've stayed- ever. The towels were stained and mold in the shower. The vents were covered with dust and gunk. The curtains had cigarette burns where people had obviously smoked- evident by being woken up by the smell of someone smoking. Front door is broken. Took me 15 minutes to check in and one guy ahead of me. Really. Don't stay here. Posting pictures.

We were supposed to get airport shuttle. When we checked in at 3:45 we were told they were all filled up for the next day. That is the reason we booked this hotel. We then had to pay for our own transportation.
We also didn't know that it was a homeless shelter. The police were there when we left for the airport at 3:45am. Terrible scary stay.

It started terribly. We called for the shuttle from the airport telling the dispatcher our names, our arrival flight, and the hotel name. She dispatched the shuttle to the wrong terminal, then when he ( Hector-a lovely guy) dropped us off, it was at the wrong hotel. Hector got us to our actual hotel and we were disappointed. It’s barely passable and we are used to 3 star places… this is more like a -2 or 1.

First off when we arrived at the hotel the parking lot was full of snow and ice. The front loby was in very poor condition with peeling wall paper and water damage on the walls. It is pretty rundown and shabby, and the shuttle was late, and no return shuttle available to pick us up after our flight was delayed and returned at 10:45 pm. Front desk clerk left and unavailable for a long time. A strange lady with a dog was arguing loudly with her when we tried to check in. It was quite disturbing in general and not a good experience. Breakfast was terrible.

No airport .bus after long wait. Paid taxi to take me to Minneapolis Airport La Quinta. There must be two. Best to clarify. It was roo late bur he saw that i
had psid La Quinta in advance and let me stay. Idid not even check into the above Bloomingdale one.
I stayed in the other Airport La Quita for about 5 hours because of storm and late plane had a 5am shuttle. Please no charge for a late? Checkout.

You get a free contact high upon check-in in and walk to your room. I was given a room someone was already in, my second room the deadbolt didn't work and the safety bar was broken on one screw, my third room the electric outlets did not work. There are holes in the walls and peeling/molding wallpaper all over the hotel.

There is peeling wallpaper throughout the lobby. They don’t have an elevator so you have to carry suitcases up the stairs. The wifi was “out” according to the desk clerk. The hallways are dated, smelly and the carpets are stained. When we got to our room and checked the mattress there was no mattress cover and it was full of stains. We asked for more bedding so we could have more layers between us and the stains. At first the lady at the front desk refused because there was no housekeeping staff available. Eventually, after rolling her eyes several times, she relented but informed us we would have to bring it up ourselves. There was no staff at the front desk when we checked out in the morning and so we left our keys as instructed. We got an email 10 hours later asking when we were checking out. If you can make it to your room without running out, it’s clean enough.

The building is in extremely bad condition. Wallpaper peeling off the walls showing mold underneath. The coat rack was broken. The bathroom sink was so broken that water spilled out the sides and bottom. The bathroom towel bar was just on the floor. Despite having the do not disturb sign out, a cleaning person came in but only took the living area trash and nothing else.

I have never stayed in a room, dirtier and more neglected. There was dried blood on the pillow, the sheets were stained and dirty the lampshade was busted. The bed was stained with no mattress, cover. The room smelled of mold and cigarettes. I slept with my clothes on, and a hat out of fear of bedbugs. The bathroom ceiling was stained and coming apart. The carpet was stained throughout the entire motel. The waiting area ceiling was falling in. Just awful!

Staff was great! Even the rooms assigned me looked great! I’ve stayed at this La Quinta many times, and I like what it has offered. But, there was a glitch this time. The first room assigned me, when I turned bathroom light on, there was a large cockroach in the bathtub. There were 2 more on the dresser by the TV, and a 4 th behind the toilet. I was discreet when I spoke to front office people and they immediately changed my room. However, upon turning on the bathroom light in different room, there was a cockroach on the wall. I have never run into this before at this place. Sadly, I won’t go back unless this problem is fixed.

We ended up checking out because of rooms not being cleaned, 1 bed was stripped bare and bedding was in the room, but all over the place. I was unsure if bedding was the clean or dirty bedding. I found a pill under the sink in plain sight. Both bathrooms had hair in the showers. Issues with rude staff regarding shuttle ride for 3rd occupant flying in. Shuttle left him at the airport and i was told it would be at least another 45 minutes for him to get picked up, so we checked out and did it ourselves. Staff didnt communicate this to shuttle driver, so 2 more rude calls were received demanding he come out of airport NOW. Even after being told it wasnt needed now, another call came demanding the same! When checking out, i told front desk staff why we were leaving without staying the night, and he just said \"thank you\" ?!?

There were people off the street sleeping on the chairs and sofa in the lobby. There were people, off the street sleeping in the hallways. I took pictures of it all. The carpet has many stains throughout the hallways. Receptionist had a hard time understanding English. This is not a hotel I would ever bring my family to, I booked online because I was flying out, I almost stayed at another hotel once I saw it, but was flying out the next day so I stayed.

Room was good. The lobby had black mold by windows with wallpaper pealing. Carpets in hallway very old. Very strong of cannabis everywhere but room. Again, room was nice, clean. Basic breakfast, no waffles. Cereal, yogurt, bagels etc.
