Parking was packed and no sense of direction. Room was clean though. Water park was way over crowded. 20+ mins waiting for a water slide. Tubes for lazy river was very limited. Life guards very unfriendly. Pop machine broke in water park, so had to use bar. Only one bartender so the wait was ridiculous for a pop fill. Overall my rating would be 3/10. I’ve heard great things about great wolf but it was nothing to brag about. Half the arcade games weren’t working. Donut shop didn’t even sell donuts but donut holes. Elevators wait time was 4+mins. Restaurant prices were ridiculous for the quality. I’d probably never come back or suggest it to others. Unless they made some changes. And furthermore most hotel pools close at 10-11pm. Why does it close at 8pm? That’s only 3hrs of play time day of check in. Checking out and using waterpark isnt as efficient as having a room.

I was double charged for parking, also an employee came to my room claiming a noise complaint my kids were sleep and the other was watching tv. When I told him it wasn’t my kids and please don’t come back knocking at the door for a noise complaint we were not responsible for the noise he told me if he comes back again I will be put out and for what. As my nephew was coming down the hall to go to the other room the man is standing outside of the door just standing there. Why are you harassing my room when you clearly can hear we aren’t the problem and go find the problem. I paid over $1200 dollars for two rooms to be not treated respectfully by staff and accused of noise me or my children weren’t making. Then they turned around and tried to charge me $100 plus dollars for towels that were returned and double charged me for parking. As much money as this place makes and they are beyond greedy. Parking should be included in the stay for at of all since your are charging almost funeral prices for a room and check in is at 4pm with the water park closing at 8pm on weekends and you have to check out at 11am you prices are insane and this place should be shut down because they are literally robbing people blind and no one see it.

All the activities you could want and then some. Staff was friendly. My kids had a blast, heck, even I (Dad) had fun. Rooms were nice, quiet, and clean. The water in the water park was nice and warm, good for the kids to play for hours. Lots of people, but that was expected. Staff does a good job managing crowds and keeping things moving. Our stay was great. 1 thing I am annoyed about- the billing end. First I accidentally picked the wrong nights when booking through Expedia. After literally and hour on hold with great Wolf Lodge, I gave up. Went through Expedia- they were about to fix my mistake but I had to be charged literally double. I admit, it was my mistake. But a small typo by me cost me basically another nights stay. Expedia tried to get Great Wolf Lodge to waive it since I tried to fix immediately after booking, but GWL would not waive the fee. Also, I got charged twice for parking. Tried to call to get it fixed, but was on hold forever. Was only 40 bucks instead of 20 but still...

I was concerned about parking since I heard last year there was an issue but it seemed okay.
The staff honestly were really awesome well the ones I interacted with anyway the cleaning staff.
The side lamps did not work I was hoping they would since I have really bad eyesight.
I was hoping to check out with the front desk so I could get my last bill but the line was horrible and they were really short staffed that was disappointing .The one person I interacted with so I could ask the question was kind of I really, don't know how to put it not rude but not as friendly. But my grandkids had Fun
I guess that's what all that counts.

The room was clean but overall basic. The bunkbed room for the kids was a fun feature. We stayed 4 nights and our room wasn’t serviced once. We needed to ask for garbage bags (to empty our own garbage) and fresh towels. We understand the hotel was very busy (Easter weekend) but having our room attended to once would have been nice.

Our main focus was the Waterpark and it was awesome. Kids had a great time. I had time to relax around the pools because of the fabulous life guard staff. It was a great family get away and we have already made the reservation for our next trip.

We had a great time on our spring break with grandkids. Staff were excellent. You can access the pool when it opens before check in on day of arrival. Lazy River including wave pool & water slides were great. Very close to MOA —so one evening we ate there at food court & went on rides there too. Arcade at GWL was also fun & dance nights in lobby were great for kids & bubble machines. Such a great time. On check out day—you can use pool & activities after checkout to closing. Kids were worn out by early afternoon & slept on way home. So much fun!!!

My son had a great time in the water park and the staff was excellent. The food was good with lots of family friendly activities and with the Mall of America so close there's even more opportunities for family fun. My only complaints were a very uncomfortable bed that was one of the worst I have ever slept on and the fact that everything is so expensive to the point our family ate at MOA most of the time because it was less expensive.

Beds are uncomfortable. The King was okay for a hotel. Bunks and pullout couch were lumpy, uncomfortable, missing linens (when called, twice, nobody brought them). Kids were cold. Most attractiond close early and waterpark does not open until 10 am.

The activities are more for kids but adultes can have fun too. The Room are clean and confortable. They are a bit old. The bath was a little big broken and the wall un the bathroom also a little bit. Staff was really nice. For kids, there are a tons of activities for Them. Really cool hôtel.

The self-service check-in, check-out, and ordering of food was super simple and made for quick servicing. The staff throughout offered to assist the kids when they got stuck on the Magi-Quest activities, which was extremely helpful. Waterpark was a hit with the whole family.

The double room is a joke, it would easily pass as a double queen bed room with a partition with mini bank beds. It’s not worth it. Better get a double queen bed room. Overall rooms are less that most hotels with the same amenities. Unless you are just paying for the waterpark. Not impressed.

Customer service was awful. They didn't have Time to help me find my reservation number. I was on hold for an hour with no response. Not enough tubes or chairs for the pool area. Ridiculous that you have to pay $20 for parking. The activities cost a fortune and the food and liquor was extremely expensive

Overall experience was good, overwhelming. Check in was an absolute joke 3 people doing it while it could allow 6 people doing it, Get it together seriously. Most staff were friendly aside from a few.
The elevators were also a disaster we spent most time waiting for those.
Everything is al a cart come here expecting to spend some $$$.
I don't know what was going on in the pool area but people were puking in the pool area multiple times. I ended up stepping into a pile and that was the end of it for me. Absolutely disgusting.
Come here with zero expectations and you'll have a blast! We will return someday hopefully they read these reviews and adjust a few things.
I will add the rooms are super spacious and clean! So that was fantastic.

Great Wolf Lodge is all about the up-charges. We paid $20 for a parking space as hotel guests and there were not any parking spaces available. All the fluff like magiquest, the arcade, bowling, rock wall, etc were ridiculously expensive. The staff were really unfriendly, for example, I asked the gift shop staff to use scissors to cut the excess off our wristbands. He literally huffed before grabbing scissors and insisting he do it for us, which is fine, but you could immediately tell he was frustrated and contemplated telling me no. It was extremely crowded there and the beds were the worst I've ever slept on. You can tell this is a place that gets you in the door with their water park and gives no care anywhere else.

I will say the waterpark was fun and the water was warm, which made up for their lack of a hot tub.

Very clean room, friendly staff, amazing waterpark! Family friendly, warm water, and excellent life guards. The only reasons I gave it only 4 stars is because the room was pretty drab and run down(clean just old and a bit worn out looking) and because everywhere I turned I felt like I was being asked to spend more money. It was like a constant advertisement trying to get me to buy more everywhere I turned. Overall good though. I plan to return, I would recommend it. Look for quieter times of year to get a deal.

The phone in the room did not work. I could barely hear when trying to call down and get service. They said they were coming up to fix the phone and never did There was a mix-up with the rooms. I got bunk beds for the kids but the kids were not added to the trip and they gave me a hard time. It was extremely crowded but it was a holiday

The game room staff (gabby, Joanne & Judy) were amazingly patient. I randomly gave staff that goes unnoticed (those who mop & sweep) $10 as I saw them. The down side was the main surf attraction & 2 slides were out of service. Non-alcoholic beverages like water and gaterade were ridiculously overpriced ($4.25 for water). The broken attractions should be noted online.

Check in on a Friday night was overly crowded and took a LONG time even after having pre-checked in advance. Would have liked to see clear signage and additional check-in options. One of the elevators broke down leaving folks trapped for over 40minutes despite them calling for help. Had I not been there to let staff know they may have waited longer. For the price, I'll go elsewhere.

Room is terribly outdated. No lamps with outlets or USB ports. Had to go to store to buy power blocks to charge phones. TVs didn't work, cords dangling down so obviously prior issues. Not worth what they charge to stay here.. paid $1,000 for 2 nights in a suite. Paid $16 a day for parking, but cannot ever find a spot to park as lot is full with waterpark guests. King bed had no blankets, only sheets. No one ever answered the phone at the front desk. Terrible service.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Staff were friendly and accommodating; we even got back some items that were left behind when we checked out! I docked one star because the room was not immediately ready when we got there (even though we checked in late evening). When we did get access, it was pretty damp, too. On the whole though, we had a good time and it was worth the price we paid.

This place was an absolute madhouse. We waited nearly an hour just go check in, had only an hour to enjoy the waterpark because they close at 8 and couldn’t return because they open so late. Over half the water slides they weren’t open. The bunks are made for small children exclusively - it would have been nice to know that at booking. It was just so overcrowded and unpleasant. Constant lines and screaming children and very little to actually do other than spend even more money with wristbands that are linked to your credit card that cannot be removed. I will never come back.

This was our second time at this property. We had a great time. There were two water slides that were not open, which was disappointing. However, the rest of the water park was great. The affordability of the resort is non existent. $16 for a cup of candy….

There was a huge amount of marijuana smell coming from our floor, unfortunately.

The arcade is also a bit of a scam. We were there for four days and did not see one prize won at any of the claw machines. I understand that you shouldn’t win every time. However, the clearly have adjusted the settings to make sure nobody wins.

All in all, it was a really good 7.7 out of 10
