Shuttle with very few seatbelts, breakfast with only a few pieces of fruit, no whole grains. Stairwells smell. Ice machine okay. Staff nice. Hotel just felt old. No shampoo in bathroom.

The hallways and stair cases smelt like mold/musk/smoke. The walls in the hallway were cut out in spots with a heater running. Had a horrible smell. The room itself did not smell but it sure was not the cleanest. The bath tub had dirt in it, and hair. The toilet took forever to refill once flushed. Beds were okay. The pool had caution tape blocking it off so my child could not swim. And we were there for spring break- he was not happy that he couldn’t swim.
I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend this hotel

Let guests know ahead of time if pool is going to be closed for cleaning. Our plan for spring break was swimming at hotel, our kids were swimming for 10 minutes then told to get out for cleaning- they were very disappointed.

The shuttle is filthy and rundown. There are renovations going on in the hotel. Right around us actually. Something they might have made us aware of. When we complained we were told quiet time is 7pm. We had little sleep coming in and needed to be up at 5. Not impressed

Room is marketed as “soundproof”, but you can hear every little thing happening in the hallway and the rooms around you. Requested an extra blanket sent to the room, staff said I have to come get it myself. Not the most clean, lots of spots and strange things on the floor and walls… if it weren’t so price-friendly, I would’ve given lower ratings

We got here later in the evening, so we just went to bed, had breakfast in the morning, then left fairly early. Check-in was easy, the rooms were great and we enjoyed the complementary breakfast. The two issues we had while we were there is that some areas of the hotel were absolutely freezing! The free shuttle service works well on the way to the airport, but the shuttle picking us up after our trip has been a very negative experience every time. So for that reason alone, we may look for a different place to stay next time. If you book online, long-term parking here is very reasonable, though.

Then, before taking the 5am shuttle the next morning, no coffee (broken machine) and the included breakfast was not available until 6am. They could at least have had some fruit or cereal bars available. No shuttle, no breakfast, no coffee. 3 strikes!

While the fellow who did the check-in was knowledgeable and friendly, it would have helped if there were two people taking care of the front desk at 5 pm on a Friday night.
The interior of the building was clearly aged and not well maintained.
The room and bathroom were clean and adequate though there were absolutely no USB jacks to be found except one on the phone which did not work since the phone had no 120 volt power adapter connected.
There was no map in the room of where to find things like the exercise room, pool or breakfast area.
It was EXTREMELY cold this day and night, in the teens below zero. There was no hot water on Saturday morning, according to the guy at the front desk it appeared the boiler gas was not keeping lit or something to that effect. There was no suggestion of how to get hot water in the room or that there may be a refund on part of the room cost. I used the parts of the ice bucket to heat water in the microwave for a washcloth bath, and I could not do it in the sink since the drain in the bathroom sink would not seal. I am not blaming the management for nature and things breaking down but I paid for two rooms that had everything working, especially hot water. I will be looking for anyplace other than this hotel in Minneapolis in the future.

Staff very helpful. Stayed night before our flight. 1/2 hour before shuttle left for airport suitcase zipper broke. Front desk gentleman gave us packing tape to tape suitcase shut and we headed to autport on time. Very clean and comfortable. Shuttle service great. Have stayed there many times when we travel.

Check in staff was great! Appreciated the attached (outback steakhouse) restaurant for dinner. Chose this location for shuttle and extended parking. Shuttle was over capacity in the a.m. and could have affected our flight, but they found another driver. The front desk communication about this was extremely confusing to guests who did not make it on the first shuttle and waited for the next. Appreciate the service, though and the ride back was extremely smooth-no issues, great communication with driver and app.

I did have trouble talking to someone to ensure a late checkin.

The hotel is maintained but is showing signs of age.

I would stay there again but only if the cost was correct for a value hotel.

There is no hot water for hours and hours. We have to leave somewhere and my baby and wife was with me we are unable to do anything. I called many times at reception she just replied she can't do anything and just wait. Unprofessional people with terribale services. Because of that i checked out early

Room wasnt clean, burn marks on the floor, shower curtain rod looked like it was hanging by a thread off the wall, phone in room didnt work. The entire hotel was dirty especially the elevators. Oh and the pool was closed and we were not notfied about it either on their website or on here. Will not be staying here again.

When we arrived the desk worker was very nice and friendly. Once we were in our room, it was obvious the photos were deceiving. The place definitely needs some updates. We needed to have the maintenance person sent to our room as soon as we arrived because the toilet was not flushing appropriately and our joining room door would not work. He was able to fix the door but looked at the toilet and said it was fine. We had to sit there and hold the handle down for way longer than was normal just to get it to flush. Our parents room was no better. The shower curtains did not want to stay shut and the water pressure in our parents' room was low. We chose this hotel for the shuttle system to the mall. I had called ahead to the main # and they said it was an on call shuttle. When we went to use it, we were told it left on the hour only. The desk employee \"Angela\" was rude. Did not want to tell me when the manager was on duty. She finally gave me the phone number for the manager. I called, left a message and never hear back from the manager. Durning our stay we had some bugs in our room, the tv stations were hit and miss and different between our two rooms. It was just not the best stay over all. We decided we would not be staying there again. The only staff we interacted with that was rude was Angela. The others were very helpfull on our first night there. After dealing with Angela and not hearing back from the manager after our first day there we just delt with the issues.

Desk staff very friendly. Prompt service. No-pressure check-in. Asked for non-smoking room, clerk says entire property is smoke-free... I could smell cigarette smoke as soon as the 2nd floor elevator door opened.
Room was clean-ish: not sparkling or perfect (carpet stained, curtains dirty, window seal dirty, spider webs in corners, dust on lamp shades), tub only had a few hairs in it, head board just a little greasy. I didn't sleep well (too much static cling in sheets). Heater kept going hot/cold/hot/cold...all night. Ironing board was left broken in the closet (one of the legs was off); I had to lay the board on the bathroom sink to iron.
Shuttle driver prompt and courteous.
I paid $97 for my stay, so I got what I paid for. No hard feelings.

Halls smelled of Marijuana. Floors in the room were not cleaned well, we found trash under our night stand. Only found 1 ice maker that worked on the 1st floor, we were on the 3rd floor. We were there 2 nights and asked for clean towels, we had to get them from the front desk. Beds were not comfortable at all.

Comfortable, clean room and very quiet hotel.
The airport shuttle was very important to us, a definite plus.
This was our second stay at the Comfort Inn at MSP. Each time we were just there for one night, and onto Europe or the eastern US.
The van driver, Alberto and the gentleman working the front desk were very helpful. I had dropped my wallet while exiting the shuttle. Alberto found it and with the help of the person working the front desk, brought it back to me right away.
I highly recommend this hotel and the wonderful staff.
The housekeeping staff was thorough and pleasant as well.
