The place very run down.. holes in the walls, beds had stains and looked like grease on them. Smelled like a chain smokers home and we didnt even lay in the bed. No towels, soap or anything in rooms windows didnt fully close so you could hear everything. People working on cars in thw parking lot.. someone had ran into the exterior of the building. Place screamed bed bugs

Arrived around 10pm to check in. Two police officers were watching security footage of an incident. Condition of hotel is between a 1-2 star. Front Desk staff handed me a single key rattled off the room number and walked away. No instructions on direction of room, where to park, etc... The elevator was out of service and I was given a 3rd floor handicap accessible room...Chose this location due to the Sonesta Brand's consistency and having a kitchen. The \"stocked\" kitchen included 1 fork, 1 spoon and 1 butter knife, and a saucepan with food stuck on the bottom. The room door has 2 security latches and a deadbolt, so safety in the room was not an issue. Stayed through the night and left at 6am in the morning for a different hotel. I travel weekly for work, and this was one of the worst experiences in a hotel in a very long time.

The back door on the main floor does not let you in from the outside.And even when I complained to the front desk , they told me that it just does that sometimes as I got locked out in the f****** rain twice

The 1st room I was given didn’t have towels, hairdryers or shower curtain. The chairs were peeling & a box of open pasta was on the counter.
The 2nd room had a broken toilet & peeling furniture.
The 3rd room had dirty water coming from bathroom sink spigot but eventually came clear. I didn’t have to sleep in my clothes because I got cold & didn’t have another blanket-I just needed to go to sleep.
The front desk attendant was very kind & I felt bad that I had to contact him so many times.

Broken walls, furniture, floor. Luhhbilbs burned out. One bed did not have sheets or blankets. Bathroom only had one towel and no soap. The property smells bad and is in bad condition pretty much everywhere you look. It is way overpriced for what you get! If I wanted to stay in a disgusting hole, I'd expect to pay half as much as I did.

Kitchen amenities were good, fridge was noisy and running loud all night, toilet didn't flush half the time. No pillows, soap, alarm clock, phone to call front desk, no ice bucket or plastic cups. Light by bed was missing a bulb all together, all mounted shower soaps were empty, door would not close, and door handle on outside was broken.
Zero facial tissues, or paper towels.
Ice maker did not work
Chair in room was broken, almost feel off first time I tried it
TV had dark picture issue that couldn't be adjusted.
No hand soap on bathroom
Overall the room was clean, just looks like they are cutting a lot of corners and not keeping up with building maintenance at all.

The room they initially sent us to was not cleaned yet. The bed wasn’t made, and there were pubic hair on the bathroom floor and toilet. So we went back down to the front desk, and the gentleman working made the appropriate accommodations. The second room was great!

Pretty awful. I got there- they didn't have a room so they upgraded but said -- tommorow you need to come back so we can put you in the room you paid for. (I was there for the weekend to see my son, not play hotel swap). Room clearly smelled heavily of smoking, There were no towels, soaps, a hole in the door, and basically pretty awesomely terrible. But crazy enough, it's in a really nice neighborhoo.

I was completely disgusted by this property. I found a dirty diaper under the sink in the garbage, which clearly shows the place was not cleaned properly before my stay. The smell was so bad I literally gagged — and I have video proof of this. This is completely unacceptable, unsanitary, and not what I paid for. I demand a full refund.

Dirty, run down building, inside and out. The bed had no blankets; I had to push my wheelchair aLL THE WAY BACK TO THE LOBBY TO ASK FOR SOME BECAUSE THERE WAS NO PHONE IN THE ROOM. Waited and waited - it was late at night, I'd had a huge day, I needed to lie down and rest and had just paid $167 to do just that. But the blankets didn't arrive, and the room was freezing. Finally canceled my reservation, left, slept in my car.

The floors in the entry way were visibly dirty which was off putting but still gave it a chance that the rooms would be clean and oh was I wrong…. There was no towels or wash cloths in the room, there was dirty dishes in the dish washer from the previous guest and a dirty wash cloth in the tub.

Fine from afar but far from fine.

The hotel definitely doesn’t look as nice as the pictures in the listing. Maybe 15 years ago but not today. It’s a bit run down and a little dirty in some places but the staff really did try to make the stay as good as it was going to get. Can’t complain much because it was cheap.

This would be an okay property, if it was half the price of what I paid. The parking lot and outside were dirty with trash and there were a couple broken down cars. The entrance was not secure and smelled like marijuana. It was just a rundown property in general. The staff was very nice though and apologized over and over when I went to the room he assigned me and the bed was not made. I was assigned another room and there were no problems with it except for it needing to be updated. There was a hole in the bathroom door and the walls were stained and dirty. The lampshade next to the bed was broken and stained which was kinda gross. I will say on the positive side though... There were no bugs and the bed was comfortable.

Literally a guy on fentanyl slumping in the hallway outside of my room, dirty bedding, room wasnt stocked at all, no towels, no toilet paper, a hole kicked through ojr bathroom door, an open bottle of vodka sitting in the stairwell with cigarettes unattended. I refused to stay and we left.

The wastebasket was hidden inside a cabinet in the bathroom. On the first night, electrical maintenance was being performed and cords were sticking out of the ceiling like stalactites. There was no fork amongst the silverware in the room, so I had to request one from the front desk. However, things improved during my stay. The carpets were vacuumed, and the maintenance was completed.

My second stay, fine for the price. Cons are the building is dated, the amenities are fine but the gym equipment is well loved and children came in to play on equipment. Didn’t use the laundry room but its near the gym and got a lot of use. Kitchen had different dishes and utensils than my previous visit.

Pros are staff is friendly and helpful, good for the price, and walkable to restaurants and stores. The neighborhood is not really all that unsafe despite folks hanging out in the parking lot. Relatively quiet despite being near 494. Again affordable and nice people.

Fine for the price, the gym is a little run down and the general decor is dated. Some of the kitchens in rooms don’t have similar utensils or pots/pans. Otherwise a fine hotel, it’s walkable to a nearby Aldis and other stores. Not super noisy, but occasionally has people milling around in the parking lot. Staff is very friendly and helpful though!
