Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. The front desk person went out of her way to accommodate all of our needs. Loved the free shuttle to the airport.

We were told that we would have an express clean on the third day and a full clean on the fifth day. We were there for eight days and I had to go to the front desk 3 times to get clean towels. At that time our bed was made and trash was emptied. That was the only time anything was done. No trash emptied, no clean glasses, no clean sheets. I know that help is a problem but at a hotel as nice as the Hyatt House, there should be better service. Other than that we had a good stay in Minneapolis. Also in the bathroom there was a gap of approximately 1/2 inch between the glass wall associated with the shower door and the shower wall from floor to ceiling. This was where the shower head sprayed, so that the water came through the gap and puddled on the floor. This was obviously a design error that made for a very wet floor. The front desk staff was helpful and apologetic for the lack of housekeeping staff.

The breakfast was one of the best I've been offered at similar hotels. The room was spacious and comfortable. I was surprised at only getting maid service every 4 days. Initially, we didn't get enough towels and had to get some from the front desk. The clock and TV also weren't working and when we informed the front desk, the agent seemed unable to help us. She did offer to have us move rooms but I didn't want to do that as I had already unpacked. My husband ended up fixing the TV and the clock never was replaced. Maid service didn't happen when it was scheduled so we had to request a resupply (1 washcloth for 2 people for 6 days isn't enough). Despite this, I enjoyed my stay enough to stay there again in the future.

The room was great. Breakfast was standard fare for a hotel. The seating for breakfast was not comfortable for eating a meal. A bar, a few 2 people tables and a high top table. The rest of the seating area was more for a lounge and not eating a meal. Housekeeping was a no show. Most hotels we have stayed at, housekeeping would come in, clean bathroom, empty out trash cans. Not here. When we requested that trash be emptied, the front desk told us to leave trash can outside of door. Great; except we never received a new trash can liner. Went to the front desk to ask for housekeeping to pick up trash and clean bathroom. When we came back to room, it had been completed. The floor of the shower was so slick, it required a shower mat. The one provided was very small for the size of shower. One misstep may have caused a fall. Requested shuttle service for a particular time for dinner reservations that we had. When we got downstairs, no shuttle. Staff person at front desk said, \"Oh, I didn't call them yet\" What?? The shuttle driver, Huso, was GREAT!! Just a delight. When checking out, Front desk gave us our receipt; never asked how our stay was. She acted like she really wasn't interested in service. We have stayed at a Hyatt in the past, No problems. Won't stay at this one again.

They are short staffed thus plan to take out your own trash, get your own towels ands tp from the front desk. Requested a room with a full fridge for the week plus that we were there but they only have four rooms with such and put others in those. Located right next to the fire station which is a bit noisy for sensitive sleepers.

I checked in for a single night with a friend to see a concert in the area. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Minneapolis from the hotel, so not terribly far away. It is competitively priced for the area and for being a newly built hotel. My room was clean and came with all the amenities I expected it to. The bathroom was slightly awkward and on the small side but still very nice and completely functional. I didn’t eat the complimentary breakfast, use the gym, or really lounge in the lobby downstairs but upon first glance they all seemed fine. There’s a couple of key card accessible entrances across the building to make sure you don’t have to walk very far from where you parked. The elevators are large and accessible. My only gripe about my stay is the parking. It is paid and not complimentary. Perhaps they can entice more guests in the future by allowing the option of choosing the breakfast or parking in their booking. Otherwise my stay was good. I really liked the touch of the TV being set up with a personalized welcome screen. Hyatt loves that little detail.

The only complaints I have are:
1). within 10 minutes of arriving, a housekeeper barged in while I was in the bathroom for some reason.
2) I was on the ground floor, and when people parked their cars in front of my window, their headlights brightened up the entire room. Some blackout shades would be helpful for those rooms.

We were pleasantly surprised at how spotlessly clean our room was. In addition we felt the layout of the room was very well planned with plenty of space for clothes to be out away, and my any amenities. We especially liked the bar and grill for quick food when we got in. The full breakfast was also appreciated.

If you enjoy hiking and birding this hotel is an ideal spot to do that in an otherwise urban area.

I would give this hotel a higher rating but the charge they do for parking is ridiculous, especially since you can find other hotels that are same distance that do not do that. Youre already paying for the hotel. I could see them requiring you to register the vehicle to make sure people who stay there are actually parked there but the charge was unecessary. Unfortuantely i wont be going back to this location becuase of it. Otherwise the staff was courteous and very helpful, and the rooms were kept up very well.

The room was clean, the hotel was well maintained, the breakfast was good. Overall it was a very good hotel. I’m a little disappointed I had to pay for parking with a giant surface lot and it was not in the description of the listing. They said it was because of the mall shuttle, but the mall was a block away for walking distance and the mall parking lot is so huge, why would they restrict parking to paid.

Dissatisfied, disappointed, and disgusted with the condition of our room. The bathroom was covered in long curly black hair, which I had to spend 20 minutes cleaning myself. The room had clearly not been vacuumed, and to make matters worse, the dishes left in the dishwasher were still dirty. I realize we are using Hotels.com third party website, but we shouldnt get a less than acceptable room.
There were also no regular coffee packs provided — only decaf. At that point it really made me wonder: Did anyone actually clean this room, or did they just change the bedding and linens and call it done?
For a Hyatt property, this level of cleanliness and lack of attention to detail is embarrassing. Guests should not have to clean their own room upon arrival or question whether basic housekeeping was done at all. Very disappointing experience.
