We had bed bugs on the first night. We found out the hard way when we woke up with welps all over our face, neck, hands, and arms. The front desk did move us to another room. When we asked about cleaning our bed clothes and any other clothes items etc that had been on the bed they said they had a pay washer/dryer on the 2nd floor. We asked about soap and they said we would have to buy it. We went up to the washer/dryer and they had one of each. It took most of one day to move rooms and wait for hours for the washer/dryer to come open. Then the dryer did not come close to getting our clothes dry. We checked out 2 days early. They said they were going to reimburse us for those 2 days but when they saw we had booked on hotels.com they said they could not do anything for us. It has been a week and my wife and I are just now not itching so bad. It was intense and miserable for about 5 days. We could not wait to get out of the hotel. The staff was nice, the pool and hot tub was nice, and the breakfast was fantastic. But the bed bugs were gross.

Our stay was comfortable and nice. We had a crowded room with a family of 5 and luggage to fly out. The couch and trundle were a great help. The shuttle service was right on time and we had no issues getting to the airport. Security lines at 7am were also under 5 minute wait. We used the same hotel the week before for my dad flying out. Walking distance to both Chili's and Wendy's. About a block from Walmart for walking. Great location. Our hall was quiet.

Stayed here over the holiday weekend and overall had a good experience. The hotel was clean, check-in and check-out were both fast and simple, and the water was consistently hot for showers every morning which was appreciated.

The only issue during our stay was that our room was turned over late on the second day, but it was only that one time. There were also a lot of kids at the hotel, but that was expected due to the holiday weekend.

The pool area on the first level had a pretty strong chlorine smell at first, although we seemed to get used to it as the stay went on. But honestly not a bad thing if you really think about it. Breakfast was hot and decent each morning. My only suggestion would be to offer more non-pork breakfast options.

Overall, still a pleasant stay and I would consider staying again.

This hotel was ok for us. We got a king suite and the couch that was supposed to be a pull out into a double bed was insufficient. The room claims to sleep 4, but I don’t think they mean 4 adults. The “pull out” was not even a pull out but more of a couch where the cushions can be removed to create a “double bed”. The staff was accommodating. The pool is quite small. The continental breakfast was great.

Pool was closed for maintenance. A guest said they heard it may be closed until August. Breakfast was difficult as there were multiple sports teams staying and only 1 waffle maker. I and another guest waited in line 20 minutes to make 1 waffle each. By then there was hardly any batter left. We asked if there was more but we were told no because they were closing. Two machines would have helped speed this up and solved that problem especially when there were SO many kids staying there. Otherwise I thought the lobby and my room were nice. I didn't use the gym or any other amenities. Also I was charged $5 plus tax to park on their parking lot and no one mentioned they charge for parking. I didn't find out until I saw an email receipt after my departure. It's the suburbs so why the charge?

This is usually our go-to place to stay when we are in the area. The kids like the pool area, and the price is great. Unfortunately this time our kids were disappointed as the pool area was closed. No mention of it when we checked in. The put a sign out stating it was closed after we checked in and called the front desk to see if it would be open at all that weekend. Had I seen that beforehand, I wouldnt have stayed there. The lady as the front desk was not personable at all, and when I asked for a partial refund at least.. she gave me $20 off our room. A little disappointed to say the least.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The property was very clean, quiet, and felt safe and elegant. The price was also very reasonable for the quality offered.

Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by the attitude of the staff member working the night check-in. She was unfriendly and unwelcoming, and it felt as though assisting guests was an inconvenience. After a long day of driving, a basic level of courtesy and warmth is something travelers truly appreciate.

Everything about the hotel itself was excellent, but the lack of friendliness at check-in took away from an otherwise great stay.

The property itself is definitely a budget property. Which I found surprising because I have always liked Springhill Suites but maybe this one is just due for an update. Where this place shines is the staff. There was someone different every time I went to the desk, called, or took the shuttle. But every single one of them went out of their way to be helpful and were kind. The hot tub was nice but many kids in it. The breakfast was so/so. Also typical. My recommendation is, do not make any special requests as they will give you the exact opposite. Since I am a very light sleeper, I requested a quiet room away from the expressway and away from the elevator, preferably on the top floor. I was given the closest room to the elevator on the side closest to the expressway, on the middle floor. Very thin walls, so I could here all of the guests on their phones getting on and off the elevator, as well the guest above us stomping across the floor late at night and early in the morning. The hotel was fairly empty, so no other options was not a viable excuse.

When we checked in, the front desk person didn’t even acknowledge us for 5-10 minutes as we awkwardly stood there waiting to get checking in. The rest of the stay was great, but the staff at the front desk and breakfast areas weren’t very friendly. The website stated it slept 4, but the pull out couch was an uncomfortable trundle for 1, so the 4th person was on the couch. Unfortunately no one slept well. Hot tub was nice and hot albeit a little extra chlorinated for my eyes and lungs. The breakfast spread was fabulous and even included GF options!

Room was dirty, crumbs all over couch and literal gobs of hair on the shower wall (will post a picture if I can.) Poor was so cold and filthy, kids even said they were taking their goggles off so they did t have to see all the stuff floating in it. We only swam 20-30 mins before one was so grossed out by “chunks” touching her lips when she tried swimming under water. I rarely write negative reviews, but our stay was truly disappointing. The room had a strong, musty smell, and we quickly discovered why: the AC unit was leaking onto the floor, and there was black mold on the ceiling above the shower.
We were offered a replacement room, but it had clearly been smoked in recently, and the smoke detector had its battery taken out, which was a huge safety concern. We were stuck and couldn't leave, so we had to make the best of it. The staff was generally accommodating, but the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
