Ok so it's been a while since we were here at the bar. Here's a snippet of our experience: there weren't bar stools open so we day at a table next to the bar. The bartender ignored us for about 10 mins then sighed and leaned over the bar waving at us with a few menus. Let me know what your want. About 10 mins later she looked at us again - let me know when you want to order. Then disappered again. While i stood waiting at the bar for her attention she dropped off a plate of wings to a couple sitting at the bar. She asked the couple of they wanted plates for their wings because \"if you take the sauce cups off that big plate there you can share that one\"

Nice room and great location, but a bit chaotic if there are local flight cancellations. Although the staff did their best to manage the chaos, the shuttle took a while to get and then all of the morning shuttles were booked. So, I ended up getting to stay for only a few hours before returning to the airport. Truly not an issue with the hotel, but be aware that you may be impacted if you choose to stay here and there is bad weather or other problems at MSP.

The room needed work. While it was very clean. The mattresses were very hard. The shower made alot on noise when you turned the handle. Apparently it was a issue with the room above as i heard the same nosie when they ran the water. The parking lot was not cleared of snow even near the drive up. Some how the target and chik fil a were able to clear thier lot. Consider they charge you $15 to park there. Some of the walls near the elevators needed some paint and patch work.

This site does not inform people there is a 30$ a day for parking at this hotel if you are staying for sleep and fly. Beware of this additional cost. The hotel clerk was very helpful. There is no coffee in the lobby area. Not for sale or complimentary. It’s a clean hotel and staff are great. But really nothing special for a Hilton.
