Helpful. Clean. Nice outdoor pool and hot tubs.
Becki
Great hotel and dining options. The outdoor pool, hot tubs and saunas were an added bonus!
ALLISON
Great outdoor pool. Would be nice if the shower doors were frosted, not clear glass.

Exceeded all of my expectations. Already planning a visit back to bring the kids, the outdoor pool area was so much fun.
Daniel
What a lovely stay we happened upon when the AC broke at our planned hotel. Definitely a significant upgrade. Hotel and rooms were modern and clean. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Pool was very nice as well with excellent service. Delicious breakfast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Deonte
I will definitely be staying there again I love the hotel n all the staff that showed so much love
Sonya
This property was so well manicured and maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful especially Gerry. Their is valet up front and 3 self parking lots. There are 3 on site places to eat. Kindred and Hearth its best to make reservations of weekends as it was also open to the public as well. Food was ok. . Service was fast and good. There was in indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool has poolside service with 2 hot tubs and a sauna. There were cabanas for rent as well. Inside the hotel there is awesome and fast communication via text if you need anything !! I was a little disappointed as it took till 2:30 for housekeeping to clean our room on both days of our 3 night stay. BUT the room was immaculate and I am a germ-a phobe that cleans when I arrive with clorox wipes. Not a speck of dust only 1 hair but nothing to complain about. I was so impressed . Our view was overlooking the pool and the Vikings training center and lake. The rooms were quiet. Ice is located on floors 4 and up. Complimentary laundry is only on 4th floor with only 1 machine each. No complimentary breakfast. Wifi was upgraded when we signed up for Omni rewards plan which was freeI would defintely stay again! The room was very clean, nice anesthetic overall. I did not visit the pool but it looked very busy. But it was a July Saturday in Minnesota. Staff was helpful. My only advice would be to bring your own snacks, the 24/7 Market is priced for convenience.

Great stay!
Shad
What an amazing hotel! Great friendly and very accommodating staff. Amazing new outdoor resort style pool!
Margaret
There is a great walking train that is open from 6am to 10pm. It is surrounding a pond, so mosquitoes are an issue during the warmer months. If you are able to, ask for a stadium view. It’s very cool to see the Viking stadium. The room was very clean. The bathroom had a large shower stall with a waterfall shower head. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap were all in large containers and smelled great! It was nice not to have to worry about how much shampoo you need for long hair. The floor hallways could have used some extra attention but it was a busy weekend and probably looks better when it’s not so busy (some gummy bears on the floor and some garbage under some of the chairs near the elevators). The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a little more expensive that what I would expect for what it was ($12-15 for a breakfast sandwich, $3-7 for coffee). One of the restaurants offers a chocolate Italian pudding and it is fantastic!
John
My stay at Omni Viking Lakes was an amazing experience. From the beautiful pools, two relaxing jacuzzis, and sauna to the incredible staff, everything exceeded my expectations. The front desk team was especially welcoming and always took the time to have heartfelt conversations, making me feel truly valued as a guest.
The Viking Lakes ride and attractions were thrilling and added even more excitement to the stay. The exceptional service, outstanding amenities, and warm hospitality deserve more than five stars.
If I could, I would gladly give Omni Viking Lakes 6 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Felt like a resort. Perfect one night getaway for our anniversary

Booked a staycation at this hotel to use the outdoor pool & dine & drinks on-site with friends. The rooms & facilities are extremely nice & clean. The hotel has good backbones but no service to support it beyond aesthetics.
Arrived at the pool shortly after opening for the day & all of the pool lounge chairs were already reserved for the day. Pool service was absurdly slow. Easily took 30-45 minutes for a drink to be delivered after ordering. Long lines at the pool bar to order. We were at the pool for over 5 hours & were only able to get 3 drinks due to how slow the service was. One of our friends ordered a burger & it took nearly an hour to be brought out. There was never an apology or acknowledgement for slow service.
Ember & ice was the same experience - we were sat & waited 30+ minutes with no service. Drinks were overpriced, took forever to be made, & were not good. Ordered late night appetizers which were also not good - pretzel was cold, chicken tenders were soggy, etc.
Dinner at Kyndred was the one positive of the hotel service wise. Good food, drinks & as expected service for the price point of the restaurant.
Overall the vibes of this place are great & it has nice facilties but I would not recommend the hotel restaurants or bars due to lack of service & poor quality which is a bummer. They are charging high prices for far worse service than I have received at any hotel I’ve stayed at.

Absolutely beautiful from start to finish, the design of the building is tasteful and unique, the rooms are clean and comfortable while still feeling upscale, and the property is gorgeous, with flower-adorned trails and a gorgeous lake. I didn’t get the chance to use the spa but it looked incredible. Would definitely stay here again!
Adam
The staff was very helpful and the amenities were beautiful !
LAKSHMI
Nice location and very cleanly maintained . The outdoor pool and hot tub is great
Claire
Stay was absolutely amazing. Staff are very accommodating and lovely. One thing I would say is the communication with the kitchen staff could use some work. At least once per meal something wasn’t as requested when it was very basic request. Ex. No tomatoes, or sauce on the side.
jesse
loved the vibe, outdoor sauna and hot tub in the cold was great.. restaurants weren't open when we were hungry. it was weird. understaffed.

Rooms are always clean plus you get floor to ceiling windows. Robes are in the closet, freakin sweet! We celebrated our 8 year anniversary and when I inquired about a room upgrade, not only were they able to accommodate; but we checked in early AND there was a little super thoughtful note with chocolate dipped strawberries/macaroons/truffles... everyone is so darn nice!!
Jon
Very clean. Staff was very friendly!

Impeccable property that was an excellent venue for a family reunion and our own family getaway, all in one. Kindred Hearth’s food was delicious and gourmet-quality. This is our go-to the next time we are in MN!
Hayley
Great overall in all aspects. Pools should be opened later.

The hotel was very clean & the staff was very kind & helpful! The hotel has an outdoor pool & hot tub (the hot tub was open when I went but the pool wasn’t in April). We could view the Vikings practice field from our hotel room window. Overall nice stay!
Therese
Enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the floors are very quiet, and the beds are really comfortable. I want to go back and just spend a day enjoying the property and its amenities.
Erisa
Loved the pool

I have never written a hotel review before, but I felt obligated to after this stay. For a hotel that is priced competitively with other "normal" hotels, the Viking Lakes Hotel clears the competition by a considerable margin. The staff, cleanliness, parking, and amenities are top notch. A free continental breakfast option was all that kept this from being a perfect stay, but it was still the best hotel experience that I have ever had.
Mariana
Best expert ever, great restaurant, and amenities
Britta
It was a wonderful stay! Love the new outdoor pool area and the restaurant was delicious.
Robert
Best hotel we have ever stayed at
Brian

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel. The property is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally well maintained. My room was excellent, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully designed. Everything was spotless, and the bed provided a great night’s sleep.
The staff was professional and welcoming throughout my stay, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt upscale while still being comfortable and inviting.
The only area where I was disappointed was the in-house dining. While the hotel itself exceeded my expectations, I found the food options on property to be underwhelming compared to the quality of the accommodations and service.
That said, I would absolutely stay here again. The outstanding rooms, beautiful facilities, and overall guest experience made for a wonderful visit.

Beautiful campus, clean fresh rooms, hot tubs were actually hot!, food options felt limited but there were plenty of other places to eat at in the vicinity
Bob
Found out after we checked in the hot tub and spa was not available until June 1 due to our renovation. We were a little bit, disappointed about that part but otherwise everything else was perfect.
MITCHELL

Great service
Melissa
Great room, great hotel. We ended up forgetting our cell phone charging cube and cord. The hotel has a very difficult policy for getting your property back. It is not likely we will be able to get it back. :(
Justin
Excellent property with incredibly clean rooms. With multiple restaurants onsite, this is an excellent spot for a staycation or a trip to the Twin Cities.
Lacey
The front staff was incredible! Softest carpet ever, great amenities!
Rebecca
Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and sauna which was so nice on a chilly evening. Dinner at Kyndred was delicious…do not skip over the Baked Alaska. Pizza and pasta were both perfection. Rooms are always spotless. We had some tech issues with the TV which doesn’t normally happen here.
Ten drops was convenient for a quick cup of coffee and parfait. We always enjoy coming to this Omni. It’s top of the line.

Beautiful hotel! Wish there was a hot tub on 2nd floor with pool, but took only a few minutes to go down a floor and then outside to the 2 big hot tubs. Love that we were able to use the saunas as well. Great stay!
Lisa

Debra
Our room was ok. We've stayed there many times as our grandkids live in inver grove heights. We did notice it wasnt as clean as usual and it was showing much wear and tear. It was so nice and beautiful when it was new. It now seems like its just like a 4 star hotel that we could get in the area for a much cheaper price. We also noticed the pool area was dinge, the water was cloudy and the chairs looked older and dirty. Like i said before we loved the place when we first started going tgere but it seems like nothing is special anymore. We had a great view of the Viking Training area although we are from WI and Packers fans :)
Sandra
Excellent staff, clean room and great amenities
