Terrible service, amenities unavailable and wasn’t notified, was told my reservation ended on Sunday and I checked out early only to find out my reservation was until Monday. Terrible stay zero communication and elevators smelled like weed. Had two little girls that were very sad they couldn’t swim and staff gave me the run around all weekend and won’t return my calls. Save yourself the trouble and don’t stay here.

Had booked this hotel through Expedia for a last minute business trip and two are surprise as we were walking through the hallway We recognized that the wallpaper was coming off in most areas and once we entered into the hotel room there was a musty smell so I was suspicious of water damage looking into a lower metal axis panel there was rusty metal indicating lots of moisture and water problems I am a specialist in this area so I further investigated the bathroom right away I peeled back some of the already peeling wallpaper and there was mold and especially black mold which is horrible for your health We immediately left the room went down to the lobby and asked for our money back The hostess didn't hesitate to give a full refund and I also communicated with Expedia to get a full refund. I highly recommend if you are considering staying at this hotel not to you may get sick.!!! Mold is nothing to mess with! And this is not just a one-room problem you can see it throughout the hotel! Shame on them for trying to continue to run business in a very dangerous environment the whole thing needs to be renovated!

The hotel was reasonably priced, not centrally located, quiet, and the staff were very hospitable. There are no microwave ovens in the rooms, but there is one near the front desk. I would gladly stay again. Oh, and the room and common areas were very clean.

They tried to charge my card ELEVEN different times for $50 and they successfully got one of those transactions to go through. I’ve spoken to the manager and the MULTIPLE clerks at the desk. I asked for an itemized sheet when I checked out, they didn’t email it as promise. I have about $200 that they have of mine that I’ve still not gotten back.

The pillows and the floor were covered in blood. It was so much easier to throw everything to the side instead of trying to get help.

No one knows anything and they don’t know why anything ever happens.

Pool was closed for “maintenance,” however there was nothing wrong, they joked it was so they didn’t have to clean it.

They don’t offer a free breakfast for dealing with their illegal bull crap.

Such a bummer, I enjoyed this hotel. I will never be staying here again. You guys lost a loyal, long staying customer. I’m beyond livid.

P.S don’t stay here unless you like sleeping in others blood/bodily fluids. Also they don’t answer for refunds or to help anyone, I’ve had to use Expedia and they are dodging them now as well

Dead trees, weeds everywhere, trash in parking lot.
The amenities advertised, particularly the bar/restaurant and pool, were closed the entirety of our stay.
Their excuses: not enough guests to open restaurant; pool water waiting to be tested.
Police on site 2 days of our weekend stay.
The \"dog run\" had broken gate, not cleaned and broken metal lying around.
Elevator rattled/shook and sounded like it was going to break down.
The \"boutique\" experience is not what we witnessed. It was borderline a dive hotel.

We were looking forward to a 3-night stay at this boutique hotel, with its restaurant and pool. However, upon arrival we learned there was no restaurant, and then were told the pool was closed which was a key amenity in my booking. Disappointed, we headed to our room hoping to make the best of it.

The room had a funky smell despite being non-smoking, so I tried airing it out. Then my daughter noticed a sticky substance on the walls, so she washed her hands and we figured we'd just avoid touching them. The main lamp had burned-out bulbs, though the smaller lamps worked. Next we found a large stain on the floor, pee stains on parts of the mattress, and stains on a pillow. After only five minutes in the room, I decided we needed another option. The front desk said we could cancel and leave, so I went through the hassle of finding another hotel. From our brief time in the lobby, it was clear we weren't the only unhappy guests.

I later called to ask about the refund timeline and was told that because I'd sat on the bed and used their soap, they had changed their mind about refunding us. When I began explaining the long list of issues, they'd heard enough and hung up. Um, what?!? First the hotel wasn't as advertised, then they reversed their promise that we could leave without penalty. I'm happy to pay 5 cents for a bar of soap after touching sticky walls, but how that equals a 3-night stay bewilders me. If you don't like deceptive practices, avoid this hotel at all costs.

We had a very clean room. Although breakfast was advertised, it was not available. Had items you could buy but nothing free of charge. Had a small restaurant but only open if hotel had enough guests. No microwave in room. We were within 10-15 minutes from everywhere we needed to be so location was good. Had some interesting shops/businesses close by also. Does allow dogs and even has an off leash area outside for them.

It's a Budget friendly hotel keep that in mind . The front desk people were very nice I didn't need nothing more than check in on my visit . My room was clean looked close to the picture from the website , beautiful wall paper of Minneaplis and bed clean . The furniture had wear and tire and some spots on the carpet , the TV was outdated but had good cable channels. Only issue the bathroom tub / toilet was not too clean but I did get a different room than the one I booked online . The bathroom had a chemical smell . Cons Pool full of kids /teen and old elevator and not in a close area to things must have a car . Overall would stay again no bugs so I was satisfied .

Staffing issues obvious. Kept his cool but obviously needed help. Weekend very busy for only one person. Pulled in several directions and rude customers. Bar never open. Shortage of towels/no washcloths. Pillows were hard and flat.
Fun idea at meeting table area at entrance but dry erase board doesn’t work with chalk to answer question about where you came from. Scrabble board with no letters to play with.

This hotel is amazing and I would stay here again! Located only 15 min from the airport, parking was included, and there was plenty. There was always someone at the front desk, ready to help. Check in was easy and seamless. I stayed here for 2 nights on a work trip. The room was clean, and had character with the decor. The bathroom was clean, and the only complaint was that the water was a little spotty in the sink and it took it a second to fully run, but other than that, my stay was amazing and I had no issues at all.

Clean and maintained older property. King suite had a chair, bench, desk/chair, single cup coffee maker, refrigerator, and TV. Small 1/2 bath. Sufficient for the price (78$). I would stay again. Also dog friendly up to 80 lbs. The staff were super friendly.

It’s a room to stay that’s cheap. It’s not dirty but room service isn’t really a thing. Your towels won’t get replenished and beds won’t get made but it’s a place to stay if you’re going to mostly be out.

Nothing about this place screams Amazing stay.
The staff are rude.
The Hotel smells bad.
They have spiders everywhere in the rooms!
They treated my service animal (DOG) bad.
The refrigerator was not cold enough in one room so they switched us to another room and that refrigerator didn't work.
Their pool is never open.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone not even if it was the last resort.

The staff was nice. The property is not in good condition. Peeling paint, stained toilet, the shower was difficult to turn on and off. Unpleasant smell. No breakfast, poor WiFi and even worse television. The pool wasn’t open. We paid $85 but $60 would have been more appropriate for a stay at this hotel which is more inline with a motel quality.

The first impression I got wasn't a good start. I got to the front desk and there was nobody there. There wasnt any bell to ring or anything. Some random guy told me I have to knock on the office door to the side. So I did that, and nobody came out. I waited for nearly 10 minutes until someone arrived at the desk.
The room I was out in was right next to the pool area. My window was connected to it. So the only view I had outside my window was the pool area, which I could hear from my room. Luckily, it was closed. But if there were people there, it would have been annoying to hear right next to me.
The rustic aesthetic is nice. I like the decor. But the desk chair is just a metal bronze colored chair which is very uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Not ideal for a workspace. The bed sheets were very soft. But that didn't make up for the stiff mattress that didn't do my back any favors. Also, the fan im the bathroom rattled like crazy. I couldnt even use it.
Checkout went nearly identical to check in, waiting for 10 minutes. The phone was ringing by the desk the whole time though. The lady checking me out was very nice though.
Overall, this wasnt the worst experience. But for the money I paid, I would rather go somewhere else next time.

The rooms are great. Clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint would be upgrade the TV as the one in the rooms are small like computer monitors and bad reception. The ceiling tiles in bathroom were falling down as well. No breakfast available and parking can be challenging with all the utility trucks around. Great place for the price and close to central St Paul.

The bed was lower at the head, than at the foot. There was a 2nd bed, but it wasn't much better. It's comforter was lumpy. The pillows did not have inner pillow cases and there was hair in the pillow case.
There was also hair left in the shower. A glue trap for pests (not sure what for)was also in the room, behind the dresser.
Was at one time nicely decorated, but it is worn out.
Ceiling tiles were swollen and sagging in the bathroom.
Both of the front desk clerks, were friendly and apologetic. They did offer a change in room, but we decided to cancel our second night.

I’ll start this by saying the staff was wonderful. Very polite, and accommodating. They made us feel welcomed.

Lobby
When you walk into the hotel it looks pretty nice. Had a cute scrabble wall in the lobby to play if you’re bored with friends. And there was a snack and beverage wall if you wanted to purchase something.

Pool
The pool room is cold, but the pool is heated. HOWEVER the water may be warmer than the air, but it was still cold. Can’t last very long in it.
Might be nice in the summer!

Room
The hotel room was decent, we had a 2 bed room. Beds were comfy and pillows were even comfier.
Room did have a lot of scrapes, and dings on the walls, and the arm chair in the corner of the room had questionable stains.
Only major complaint I really had was the bathroom had mold on the ceiling above the toilet.

All in all, for the price I paid of $48 for one night, I would go back if I was on a tight budget again.

The carpet was very frayed in many places and very dirty. The lamp between the beds in our room was broken. In the bathroom the ceiling fan was filthy and falling out if the ceiling. The wallpaper was coming off of the walls in many areas. The ceiling tiles throughout the facility were in bad shape and also falling out. The parking lot and sidewalks were in desperate need of attention for snow removal and sanding. Our room did not get serviced so we had to request towels 2 times.

Staff was courteous, room was clean, the hotel and room has unique decor, location for our travel was convenient! However, there were several maintenance issues. The faucet was not secure onto the vanity, the toilet seat was very loose, the tub did not hold water with the plug in proper position, the fan on the HVAC in the room was very loud, the TV clarity was very fuzzy (on all channels), the smoke/carbon alarm light was annoyingly bright, and then bed was not as comfortable as other comparable hotels. There were three parties going on in the conference areas of the hotel, which was fine, we didn't here much noise in our room even though we were very close to the atrium and main entry. Expecting the parties would be well over or quiet by 10pm we went to bed. But the parities carried into the hallways and right outside our window. One of the parities had a complete band playing the drums right outside and the people were quite loud until about 12:30am. So we didn't get much sleep. Coffee was available in the hotel room. However, if you wanted more coffee in the lobby it was $2.00. We would stay here again if it was our last option.

I never do reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Booked for staying after a wedding and the only one from the wedding who booked here. They all stayed at the venue and there was dead flies and dirt and was gross as the other hotel. I walked in here to a clean room and very kind staff. It was a 2 minute drive from the venue and in a nice quiet area. Definitely recommend and would go back!
