It’s a room to stay that’s cheap. It’s not dirty but room service isn’t really a thing. Your towels won’t get replenished and beds won’t get made but it’s a place to stay if you’re going to mostly be out.

Nothing about this place screams Amazing stay.
The staff are rude.
The Hotel smells bad.
They have spiders everywhere in the rooms!
They treated my service animal (DOG) bad.
The refrigerator was not cold enough in one room so they switched us to another room and that refrigerator didn't work.
Their pool is never open.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone not even if it was the last resort.

The staff was nice. The property is not in good condition. Peeling paint, stained toilet, the shower was difficult to turn on and off. Unpleasant smell. No breakfast, poor WiFi and even worse television. The pool wasn’t open. We paid $85 but $60 would have been more appropriate for a stay at this hotel which is more inline with a motel quality.

The first impression I got wasn't a good start. I got to the front desk and there was nobody there. There wasnt any bell to ring or anything. Some random guy told me I have to knock on the office door to the side. So I did that, and nobody came out. I waited for nearly 10 minutes until someone arrived at the desk.
The room I was out in was right next to the pool area. My window was connected to it. So the only view I had outside my window was the pool area, which I could hear from my room. Luckily, it was closed. But if there were people there, it would have been annoying to hear right next to me.
The rustic aesthetic is nice. I like the decor. But the desk chair is just a metal bronze colored chair which is very uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Not ideal for a workspace. The bed sheets were very soft. But that didn't make up for the stiff mattress that didn't do my back any favors. Also, the fan im the bathroom rattled like crazy. I couldnt even use it.
Checkout went nearly identical to check in, waiting for 10 minutes. The phone was ringing by the desk the whole time though. The lady checking me out was very nice though.
Overall, this wasnt the worst experience. But for the money I paid, I would rather go somewhere else next time.

The rooms are great. Clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint would be upgrade the TV as the one in the rooms are small like computer monitors and bad reception. The ceiling tiles in bathroom were falling down as well. No breakfast available and parking can be challenging with all the utility trucks around. Great place for the price and close to central St Paul.

The bed was lower at the head, than at the foot. There was a 2nd bed, but it wasn't much better. It's comforter was lumpy. The pillows did not have inner pillow cases and there was hair in the pillow case.
There was also hair left in the shower. A glue trap for pests (not sure what for)was also in the room, behind the dresser.
Was at one time nicely decorated, but it is worn out.
Ceiling tiles were swollen and sagging in the bathroom.
Both of the front desk clerks, were friendly and apologetic. They did offer a change in room, but we decided to cancel our second night.

I’ll start this by saying the staff was wonderful. Very polite, and accommodating. They made us feel welcomed.

Lobby
When you walk into the hotel it looks pretty nice. Had a cute scrabble wall in the lobby to play if you’re bored with friends. And there was a snack and beverage wall if you wanted to purchase something.

Pool
The pool room is cold, but the pool is heated. HOWEVER the water may be warmer than the air, but it was still cold. Can’t last very long in it.
Might be nice in the summer!

Room
The hotel room was decent, we had a 2 bed room. Beds were comfy and pillows were even comfier.
Room did have a lot of scrapes, and dings on the walls, and the arm chair in the corner of the room had questionable stains.
Only major complaint I really had was the bathroom had mold on the ceiling above the toilet.

All in all, for the price I paid of $48 for one night, I would go back if I was on a tight budget again.

I had stayed here for 2 nights and the staff wasn’t the problem it was the horrible quality of the rooms and how they lacked cleanliness. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling, the ceiling even looked like it was going to cave in. Not to mention this morning seeing a cockroach. Needless to say they need better cleaning and some repairs done.

The carpet was very frayed in many places and very dirty. The lamp between the beds in our room was broken. In the bathroom the ceiling fan was filthy and falling out if the ceiling. The wallpaper was coming off of the walls in many areas. The ceiling tiles throughout the facility were in bad shape and also falling out. The parking lot and sidewalks were in desperate need of attention for snow removal and sanding. Our room did not get serviced so we had to request towels 2 times.

Staff was courteous, room was clean, the hotel and room has unique decor, location for our travel was convenient! However, there were several maintenance issues. The faucet was not secure onto the vanity, the toilet seat was very loose, the tub did not hold water with the plug in proper position, the fan on the HVAC in the room was very loud, the TV clarity was very fuzzy (on all channels), the smoke/carbon alarm light was annoyingly bright, and then bed was not as comfortable as other comparable hotels. There were three parties going on in the conference areas of the hotel, which was fine, we didn't here much noise in our room even though we were very close to the atrium and main entry. Expecting the parties would be well over or quiet by 10pm we went to bed. But the parities carried into the hallways and right outside our window. One of the parities had a complete band playing the drums right outside and the people were quite loud until about 12:30am. So we didn't get much sleep. Coffee was available in the hotel room. However, if you wanted more coffee in the lobby it was $2.00. We would stay here again if it was our last option.

Waited to be checked in....the attendant was too busy with friends outside while smoking weed. I had to avoid that entrance due to the strong vapor which I was unaware of when I first entered the building. Not professional maybe it was all due to me being there during the week instead of the busier weekend....overall, the room and amenities were nice.

Beds were uncomfortable and creaky when you move. No working usb charge ports. Some of the outlets were highly worn and could barely hold a plug in, which makes it a fire hazard. Mold on bathroom ceiling.

I never do reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Booked for staying after a wedding and the only one from the wedding who booked here. They all stayed at the venue and there was dead flies and dirt and was gross as the other hotel. I walked in here to a clean room and very kind staff. It was a 2 minute drive from the venue and in a nice quiet area. Definitely recommend and would go back!

Room was so damp/humid that the carpet still felt moist with the air conditioner and the bathroom fan running. There was mold in the bathroom. The room was not thoroughly cleaned, debris noted in corners and on the plush chair. No garbage can in the bathroom was weird. The one nice feature was good water pressure.

My husband and I checked in after hours due to us just getting in town. When we were escorted to our room, the room was very hot. We turned on the AC only to realize that the AC was not working, the room was extremely hot and had a smell of dogs. I went down and spoke with the lady at the front desk and she told me that the AC Was not working, but she’ll send maintenance up in the morning. She said she could not send us to another room because she was sold out. Because it was so late my husband and I went back to the room to try to make the best of the night however, the room reeked of dog urine. When you laid on the bed, you could smell it on the carpet. Once I get up in the morning, I realize how unclean the room was. Staff apologized to me and said the previous person must have allowed their dog to pee in the room. I was told that the person will come in at 9am to fix the AC and housekeeping will come to take care of the smell. At 11 am when NO ONE CAME. I was over it! I asked for my money back because we had prepaid. I was told that if I left I could not get refunded. I asked for the manager and was told that she wasn’t coming in until 12 maybe 1pm but but she will come up to the room no later than 3pm. I was very hot and upset at this point. I demanded my money back. And had to book another hotel two hours before the wedding that I was attending started. Horrible experience!

I never leave negative reviews but this might be one of the worst places I’ve stayed. It looks great in the pictures online but it is so dirty. The ceiling above the shower is suspended tiles. They were moldy and looked like they were going to fall in. The toilet didn’t want to flush and overflowed from just a small amount of toilet paper. It’s way more run down than the pictures make it look. The front desk person was nice though. But I won’t stay here again.

The staff that we met were kind. It was not their fault.

The hotel had noises coming from every end. Not what you'd expect. There was a constant beeping at the front desk. The breakfast was closed. The elevator was terrifying and smelt like old milk. All of the carpet smelt like old milk. Our room was incredibly gross. The corners of the bathroom looked like they were never cleaned ever. We got multiple calls to our room and just had the person on the other line hang up or hang up and call again. The front desk called us before 8am and said that our room was never paid for which is unexpected but also not their fault. Again, the front staff members were kind and doing their best. The hotel itself its just pretty gross.

Staff at the counter were nice and helpful. Unfortunately, that is where it pretty much stopped. After check-in we started to question our choice of hotels. The hotel smelled damp and musty throughout, they had numerous fans in our hall on the third floor assuming trying to dry it out. Once checked into our room, I mistakenly was walking barefoot and stepped on an exposed tack strip that was not doing its job holding the carpet down in place. We laid a towel over this for the remainder of the stay to prevent our daughter from stepping on it as well. There was strange tape all over the ceiling as well as dried boogers on the wall around the sink. The bathroom was very tight quarters; only slightly bigger than a bathroom you would find in a camper. I'm 6'2\" and had to bend down to wash my hair so that I didn't hit the ceiling. I'm usually not that picky on places to stay but this one is definitely one of the bottom ones for me and I'm sure to flag as a no go for future trips, which is a bummer due to location to family.

Amazing look falling apart

I had an amazing time, but one of the tiles in the shower was broken. Otherwise it was an amazing room with industrial look and feel. Tried to inform management about the tile issue, but no one was there so left the keys in the drop box. The check-in lady was nice.

To the side of the property it looked like a homeless camp. Bikes, trash, a grill. Walked in and the place smelled of weed and dirty diapers. I had a hard time sleeping with the kind of clientele this place had. Pictures looked like a cute boutique hotel, it is not.
