The bed was comfortable and the hot breakfast was fine.
There were a few minor repairs needed in the room, like torn Formica on the night tables. My key card malfunctioned several times but the staff quickly fixed that. I wish there had been a few hooks in the bathroom. And an alarm clock and a TV guide.

There was not a hot tub, it looked like it had recently been filled in

Very nice and clean
Jennifer
The rooms and hallways smell terrible. Dirty smell. They shower doesn't stay warm. The rooms are run down with mismatched paint everywhere that they had holes etc. The beds are so uncomfortable I woke up with my hips hurting. The toilet seats are not properly attached and it makes you feel like you're falling on the way up and down. They have bathtubs but no stoppers so you can't actually take a bath.
Peter
The room was musty smells like mold, the carpets were dirty. Breakfast was served but minimal options.
Mary
The staff was exceptional.
Junell
No hot water, showers were luke warm, our room smelled like smoke when we checked in.
Cheryle
Our room was outdated. Lampshades torn, toilet tank cover was wobbly and didn’t fit the top of the toilet and the carpet flooring was awful. Noise not managed in the hallway late at night.
Twila
Unfortunately we left 3 items in the closet when we checked out. One of the items was turned in by the housekeeping staff. The other 2 (expensive jacket & sweater) were not turned in.
Manager did return my call, but stated the other 2 items were not found.

The woman at check in was very accommodating with our room request.
There wasn't any waffle batter and the iron wasn't plugged in for breakfast but made do with the other offerings.

Christina
Nice restaurant next door, otherwise not a walkable location to much.
Maurice
The only thing is there are no microwaves in the rooms.
Marcus
Great breakfast
Diane
As always, a great place to stay and convenient access off and on the highway. Lots of choices for food nearby and super helpful staff.
Patricia
Very comfortable room, beds, and pillows. Excellent staff. The only problem was that I couldn't adjust the TV to typical stations. It only brought up ESPN. May be my issue, I didn't check with staff regarding the TV.
Stacey
Outdated amenities.
Elizabeth
There was a gap at the bottom and side of the door. This would be quite dangerous in case of a fire and it made the noise from the hall really loud in the room. The TV really did not work at all.
The breakfast was well presented and well maintained.

There was an error in my reservation and had done by best to receive a credit for a charge to a room that I didn’t need. Management was not understanding or communicative. Room is outdated, especially the bathroom. Bed is comfortable. Room smells musty. Fitness room is small and pointless without weights. I will not return.
Bruce
Very helpful counter person, great location with easy I494 access, right next to a very nice restaurant within easy walking distance, and also great walking on the trails nearby the site for some fresh air and exercise. Breakfast was mediocre. The elevator was very noisy.
Jerald
Nice with a decent breakfast, pool and room. There is no longer a whirlpool hot tub in the pool area. Maid service is only every other day. Good location close to everything one may need.
Kathleen
Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, convenient location.
Genevieve
Friendly staff and clean room. Breakfast was good, wish it had been more fully stocked, but it was busy, so I understand. Convenient location made it great to get where we needed to go. I’d stay here again!
Tilla
It was an okay hotel to stay at. The pool was small but not too deep which is perfect for young children. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. The dinning area was small, 1 waffle maker and the batter was way to thick and took forever to come out of the dispensar. The topping for the waffles were mainly just dried raisins. It's not a bad place to stay just some small things to be prepared for.
Janet
Ok stay the bed was very unconverted and made noises when you turned over in bed. Mo clean towels on day 2. We had to call to get them. My thoughts if you stay more than one night the bed should be straightened and new towels put in the rooms everyday. We pay the same price without a fresh room. The breakfast area is small could be a bit bigger. Ran out of food first morning took a long time to get food but was tasty when we got it. Ok stay we would stay again.
Ron
Breakfast was good.
kathy
Our room was pretty clean, breakfast could use an update , i think i had same thing 10 yrs ago, maybe some more fruit choices n better coffee, wasn’t too hot n pretty weak
Christy

Great location and property for a quick stay in Woodbury, very friendly and helpful staff and a well run operation - would stay again!
Taylor
Good overnight hotel. Staff was very friendly. Pillows are paper thin and uncomfortable, only reason I took a star off.

Kathleen
Clean and spacious room. Breakfast was okay. Parking was good.
Jason
Great place to stay
Barbara
Clean room, comfortable bed. Thank you to the nice person who built the steps up to the Southern Social.
Teri
Very nice place. Comfortable beds. Only trouble was the TV’s were a pain to use and had to have someone come up and show us how to use it!
Jon
Very nice room, and liked the grab and go bagel option for breakfast!
Selena
Clean room, good free breakfast
Audra
Pool & hot tub were nice. But no cookies until last day and still wasnt offered any until I asked for some. The room needed to be vacuumed. Its needs noise reduction all I could hear was the humming of the freeway and cars all night long. Breakfast was good but had to pay for that. Pull out couch was terrible to sleep on. Id say like 7/10.

Our first room had a nicotine pouch on the end table and an open bottle of water, they did move us to another room, which was fine, but there was tape holding the vinyl laminate together on the entertainment center. A little dated for a Hampton
Rachel
Fine stay, I will complain a little bit - had a tough time with the hotel keys consistently and when I first checked in I had to wait like 20 min at the front desk to check in. Not fun after a long drive.

Amanda
The room was clean, but the heating unit was loud, the staff was very friendly, i was pleasently surprised that there was breakfast, tbe waffles and the choices of toppings were my favorite.
Diane

Room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. Properly condition seemed a bit run down in areas. It was ok, but we won’t return. Staff was very friendly.
Stephanie
The rooms smelt good/clean, bed was comfy and squishy
Lori
Television did not work
Douglas
Bathroom was updated. Room furniture was terrible. Broken laminate on desk and cabinets. Room door didn’t fit properly. Breakfast was mediocre.
Marlee
Got there in the middle of a snow storm and was told they overbooked and had no room for me. Had to spend an hour and a half in a chat to ask for a refund from hotel.com. Will never use again.
Jerome
Entire hotel was spotless!!!

Ron
My review is that I would stay here again!!
Ashley
Nice basic room. Bed was super hard. Very nice pool area.
Donald
The bed that I slept on was sooooo UNCOMFORTABLE that I woke up
With the worst back ache ever, I tried sleeping on the couch, then back to the bed, to no avail.
I told the front desk and all they said was that’s unfortunate but have a great day.
I’ll NEVER SLEEP THERE AGAIN, o was hoping that either all of my money or at least half of it would be returned, but NOTHING.
The table had black tape holding the side to the top, this place definitely was NOT WORRH THE MONEY!!!

We spent two nights at the hotel and we had a good stay. The room is big and clean and has everything you need. The breakfast was good and had gluten free bagels that we loved to find since I’m gluten free. Location is good, next to a lot of fast foods and close to the highway. The only thing we didn’t like was the elevator, really old and scary and the pool is nice but it would have been nice to have a hot tub
Michael
Perfect
Morgan
It's a decent place to spend the night
Aron
The room was in disrepair and not the cleanest. The pool was small and the hot tub had been filled in.

We called at 11am the day of check in to confirm our room and advise we'd be checking in after 9pm. We were assured our room was there and available waiting for our arrival no problem. Got there to check in at 9:30 and were told thay pur room had been sold. The poor girl had no idea wjlhat to do but she said she didnt want to turn us away. I told her she couldnt as we were 2 hours from home and no rooms avaliable at any hotels any where near by. She was able to put us in a handicap room. Luckily it was just myself and daughter due to a last-minute change my husband did t join us or this would not have worked. While the girl working the counter was winderful.....dont book with a 3rd party. We could have paid 97.00 by just booki g with the hotel direct i stead of 137.00 and our room being reserved wouldnt have been an issue. Never again.
Mary
Clean rooms, FRIENDLY staff and safe area

Nicholas
The staff were super friendly and great service, the continental breakfast was surprisingly really good and the bed was super comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay!
Dana
Nice hotel, close to the Twin Cities but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. I love the Woodbury area; Trader Joe's and Costco are nearby, perfect places to grab groceries on my way home from the airport to Wisconsin.
Jessica
The hotel & room clean! The furniture in the room was delaminating. Not.only did it look awful, the sharp corners put people/kids' safety at risk. Between 4:30 -5 a.m. a woman was stomping down the 3rd floor, banging on doors. I was 2nd floor & soon she was on my floor, repeating her behavior. Then sat down 10' from my door, talked on the phone and to a police officer. Needless to say, sleep was not happening. Very diappointed, as my husband had surgery and i had to be back at the hospital early. The night manager was professional when i called down to report what was happening. He really was superior in his customer service role. Many thanks to him for calming my nerves. I would gratefully accept a refund of what we spent to stay at this establishment and are willing to try another stay another time. I do have photos of the room furniture if you would like to see them. Thank you for the opportunity to express my feelings.
Michelle
staff was great, room was clean
Ruth
The room was very comfy and clean.

Everything was neat and clean. Very pleased
Pamela
Room was clean but required repairs (laminate on the counter tops peeling off in several spots). Difficult to cool the room down, even at the lowest setting.
Staff was friendly and courteous. Admission was efficient and offered various amenities.

Great service, great staff, easy parking too!!
Even tho we weren't there long enough to eat breakfast, was nice they offered a to-go option.
On a side note and, upon finding clothing from past customer in our room behind a wall curtain, staff promptly removed.
All in all was a great stay!!

Great bed and bedding, expansive selection of tv channels. Comfortable room but does not have a microwave. Tub with shower needs a good step over.
Negative- if you have a bad back some amnenities are harder to access.. coffee/tea supplies on bottom of tv desk, bathroom towels on low shelf of vanity, bed height was waist high for me - had to leap, but im 5’1”.

We stayed in room 218. If I would have been the manager of this hotel, I would have been completely embarrassed to have rented this room to any paying customer! I feel, because I booked through Travelocity, this is why I was given this room! On top of it all, there was a dirty pot lid just on the side of my bed and anyone who would have vacuumed that room WOULD have seen that! COMPLETELY gross and unexcusable!
Bridget
I like the easy access to the property and it has the Hampton Inn standards!
paul
Room was clean staff was polite
Pauline
Clean, renovated, and convenient! We were passing through the area and had a nice stay. Breakfast had good variety and was nicely presented.
Joanne
The breakfast menu was just okay. The eggs used in the cheese omelets... were gritty, not fluffy or creamy
Joe
