The room smelled Strongly like powdered carpet freshener- it caught in our throat when we entered the room. We never heard a vacuum cleaner during our entire stay even though cleaning staff were in the hallway. Luckily we could keep the windows open and the bathroom fan going which helped a bit. There were some bolts hanging out of the wall in our room and near the elevator the wall’s paint was scratched off. What used to be a hotel’s name we trusted has gone down in our opinion.

We didn't have towels in our room upon arrival- and when we asked for some they only gave us 4 even though our room was set up for 6 and that's how many travels we had. We asked for a later check out and that was denied. They said there was an issue with my deposit and if I didn't give them my card number again it wouldn't be returned. Our shower didn't drain properly either. Bedding was stained and had holes in them.

First two positives, the male employee at check in was very pleasant to work with (wish I got his name) and the bed was comfortable after I cleaned it off. However, the young lady who was at the counter, was more interested in her tablet and phone than acknowledging when guest spoke. Never in my life have I stayed a more safety hazard prone hotel. The elevator button is smashed in, myself and another couple were stuck at the door wouldn't stay open. There was piles of trash left out in the hallways, which already smelt of mold and just old air. My shower and bedding were dirty, found hairs and nail clippings. Random people loitering in the lobby, assuming friends of the staff. My microwave looked like it had been burned multiple times on the inside. One outlet was completely busted by the window and had exposed wires. Multiple stains on the carpet and furniture. I am all understanding of outdated but this is the worse Wyndham property.

Guests were smoking weed and vapes openly in the pool area and staff refused to do anything about it which meant no one in my party could enjoy the pool or hot tub. When I asked them to stop smoking they screamed obscenities at us and once again staff was useless.

Rooms were dingy with:
-stained bed skirts
-water spotted ceilings
-a closet door that was pulling entirely off the drywall
-a remote with no back just tape over the batteries

I’m incredibly disappointed and frankly disgusted at the lack of management and that they label this as a smoke free property when clearly they couldn’t care less about it.

Stayed in King suite with jacuzzi and fire place.Building in need of major updates. Hotel does park and fly for the local airport so if you are flying and need a place to park very convenient, if you are staying at the hotel hard to find a convenient parking spot. Goods: Staff was friendly, good price, room was nice sized, pretty clean, breakfast was good but limited options. Bad: common areas old and outdated, bed hard with cheaper sheets, small pillows, fireplace didn't work, jacuzzi wouldn't hold water and buttons broken, stains in carpet, hole in closet doors, mirror cracked, toilet seat look like it had burn marks. Online photos are not accurate to the conditions of the hotel. Ok place to stay for a night if just looking for a bed for a quick stay, could find better options though. I am not a very picky person but I was very disappointed with the conditions of this hotel, has potential to be a very nice place.

This experience was just terrible.

The hotel is older, and it has a really bad odor when you walk in. The man at the desk took three phone calls before even greeting us.

The room at first glance seemed clean. However, hair in the bathtub, sink, cigarette holes in the comforter, there was food and drinks in the mini fridge left from a previous guest.

When checking out the girl at the desk couldn’t be bothered to look up or even be courteous.
Overall very unimpressive and I felt bad bringing my kids to stay here.

Under no circumstances should anyone stay at this hotel. I used to regularly stay here when I would return to Minnesota. It has been several years since my last visit and in that time this hotel has deteriorated in almost every aspect. The staff are very unhelpful. Good luck if you need any assistance with anything. The lobby, halls, and rooms smell of cigarette smoke. The breakfast is stale cereal, toast with no working toaster, potatoes that are mushy on the outside and undercooked on the inside, scrambled egg bits, and warm coffee. The elevator barely works and it is near impossible to get it to go to the 4th floor. The north stairwell had some crushed crackers on the carpet during the entire 6 day stay. The jacuzzi in the room had a constant drip which no one could be bothered to look at. It was so disgusting that I was afraid I would catch something if I were to use it. There were handprints on the wall above it. The room had to be Febrezed constantly just to keep the stench at bay. There are zero dressers in the room. There are a couple of shelves and a closet for your clothes or to be safe you can just leave them in your suitcase. There was hot water in the shower but not in the sink. Many fixtures in the room are in some state of disrepair including missing light coverings, missing light bulbs, towel bar barely attached to the wall, cracked sink, etc. The parking lot was constantly full despite barely seeing anyone else in the hotel. So much more but I am at the limit

The building shows it's age and the updates that have been done are nice, but in the big picture, the rest falls short. Every time I stay here, the shower head is not functional ie: low water pressure, broken or taped together. The sheets on one bed were dirty or stained which was pretty obvious. We reserved a one bedroom suite, as it was my daughter’s wedding day. Upon arrival, we were told that they didn’t have this room. In fact, they blamed Expedia. As I booked through a third party, I had no recourse. I had no options. They offered a Hot-tub room - which was not what we had reserved. However, it smelled of stale smoke. They offered us a different room, same amenities on the 2nd floor. However, NO elevators worked, on the entire property. So, they plugged in a room freshener. When we went to find ice, no ice machines worked and they sent someone out to get ice. We did get some ice
The next AM the police were questioning folks in the hallway. (Which is honestly not the hotels issue) the room was clean. Breakfast as as expected. (You know)
Upon checkout, my husband waited for 10+ minutes to be acknowledged by the one front desk attendant, as she was on the phone.
He simply wanted a receipt. Whereby, he was told they couldn’t give us a receipt, as we booked through a third party. (I mean, sure, that was true, but, to antagonize us further was sort of ridiculous and unnecessary) Wow, we travel the world and this was the worst experience we’ve had. So avoid this property. The holiday inn is across the street. I would have stayed there, but we stayed there for my youngest daughter’s funeral a year ago- and it was too much for me to stay agin. And that is the unfortunate truth.

There are better places to stay for the same price of this hotel. Don’t do it. We checked in, my first warning should have been how dirty the floors were at the lobby. We get to our room, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed and quite honestly needed to be shampooed. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and left the next morning and went to the holiday inn in Eagan, which is GREAT, and was the same price. We stayed here strictly because it was closest to visit our daughter & grandkids. The front desk person was hardly there when we needed them and we were not told ahead of time that the elevator was under maintenence repair. We had to walk up the three flight of stairs up & down for 4 days straight. Breakfast was terrible with very few selections. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on, and we had to walk downstairs to the front desk each time we needed clean towels or toilet paper. Shower head could be better with hardly any shampoo or conditioner in the bottles in the bathroom. Seemed like everything was a hassle...got kindof stressed out a bit. Room for improvement

After being there for 3 days we thought we would have our room cleaned, but came back to find it wasn't. We were told by someone at the desk that it would be done the next morning. The next morning I talked with the housekeeper who said she was by herself and would not be cleaning our room. Someone at the front desk he would see what could be done. Fortunately a woman heard our conversation and indicated she was a GM and would see that it was done. And it did get done.
But we were also locked out of our room several different days and times. We had to have our key redone several times and even that did not work. The battery was changed in the door scanner and yet a few days later it happened again.
