Property was filthy and garbage was overflowing in all public areas. Our room had no heat, when we went to check the unit the plug was visibly charred, when we unplugged my husband got a shock. We were moved to another room thankfully, but honestly it seemed like an inconvenience to even to make that request. That being said we will not be staying at this property in the future.

This experience was just terrible.

The hotel is older, and it has a really bad odor when you walk in. The man at the desk took three phone calls before even greeting us.

The room at first glance seemed clean. However, hair in the bathtub, sink, cigarette holes in the comforter, there was food and drinks in the mini fridge left from a previous guest.

When checking out the girl at the desk couldn’t be bothered to look up or even be courteous.
Overall very unimpressive and I felt bad bringing my kids to stay here.

Under no circumstances should anyone stay at this hotel. I used to regularly stay here when I would return to Minnesota. It has been several years since my last visit and in that time this hotel has deteriorated in almost every aspect. The staff are very unhelpful. Good luck if you need any assistance with anything. The lobby, halls, and rooms smell of cigarette smoke. The breakfast is stale cereal, toast with no working toaster, potatoes that are mushy on the outside and undercooked on the inside, scrambled egg bits, and warm coffee. The elevator barely works and it is near impossible to get it to go to the 4th floor. The north stairwell had some crushed crackers on the carpet during the entire 6 day stay. The jacuzzi in the room had a constant drip which no one could be bothered to look at. It was so disgusting that I was afraid I would catch something if I were to use it. There were handprints on the wall above it. The room had to be Febrezed constantly just to keep the stench at bay. There are zero dressers in the room. There are a couple of shelves and a closet for your clothes or to be safe you can just leave them in your suitcase. There was hot water in the shower but not in the sink. Many fixtures in the room are in some state of disrepair including missing light coverings, missing light bulbs, towel bar barely attached to the wall, cracked sink, etc. The parking lot was constantly full despite barely seeing anyone else in the hotel. So much more but I am at the limit

The building shows it's age and the updates that have been done are nice, but in the big picture, the rest falls short. Every time I stay here, the shower head is not functional ie: low water pressure, broken or taped together. The sheets on one bed were dirty or stained which was pretty obvious. A little more investment and upkeep and this place would be pretty nice again.

We reserved a one bedroom suite, as it was my daughter’s wedding day. Upon arrival, we were told that they didn’t have this room. In fact, they blamed Expedia. As I booked through a third party, I had no recourse. I had no options. They offered a Hot-tub room - which was not what we had reserved. However, it smelled of stale smoke. They offered us a different room, same amenities on the 2nd floor. However, NO elevators worked, on the entire property. So, they plugged in a room freshener. When we went to find ice, no ice machines worked and they sent someone out to get ice. We did get some ice
The next AM the police were questioning folks in the hallway. (Which is honestly not the hotels issue) the room was clean. Breakfast as as expected. (You know)
Upon checkout, my husband waited for 10+ minutes to be acknowledged by the one front desk attendant, as she was on the phone.
He simply wanted a receipt. Whereby, he was told they couldn’t give us a receipt, as we booked through a third party. (I mean, sure, that was true, but, to antagonize us further was sort of ridiculous and unnecessary) Wow, we travel the world and this was the worst experience we’ve had. So avoid this property. The holiday inn is across the street. I would have stayed there, but we stayed there for my youngest daughter’s funeral a year ago- and it was too much for me to stay agin. And that is the unfortunate truth.

We had 2 rooms for 5 nights in Oct 2025. Rooms were large and clean. Bed was comfortable, large tv's with cable. Lot of outlets & USB chargers. Fridges but no freezers. Breakfast had 2 hot items that changed daily plus the normal stuff. Guest Laundry worked well although only 1 washer/dryer. Hotel was busy while we were there. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. We appreciated the early check in.

There are better places to stay for the same price of this hotel. Don’t do it. We checked in, my first warning should have been how dirty the floors were at the lobby. We get to our room, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed and quite honestly needed to be shampooed. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and left the next morning and went to the holiday inn in Eagan, which is GREAT, and was the same price. Another family member in our group had the same experience with his room. Floors were dirty, hair in the shower, closet was filthy.

We stayed here strictly because it was closest to visit our daughter & grandkids. The front desk person was hardly there when we needed them and we were not told ahead of time that the elevator was under maintenence repair. We had to walk up the three flight of stairs up & down for 4 days straight. Breakfast was terrible with very few selections. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on, and we had to walk downstairs to the front desk each time we needed clean towels or toilet paper. Shower head could be better with hardly any shampoo or conditioner in the bottles in the bathroom. Seemed like everything was a hassle...got kindof stressed out a bit. We weren't happy with our stay here.

After being there for 3 days we thought we would have our room cleaned, but came back to find it wasn't. We were told by someone at the desk that it would be done the next morning. The next morning I talked with the housekeeper who said she was by herself and would not be cleaning our room. Someone at the front desk he would see what could be done. Fortunately a woman heard our conversation and indicated she was a GM and would see that it was done. And it did get done.
But we were also locked out of our room several different days and times. We had to have our key redone several times and even that did not work. The battery was changed in the door scanner and yet a few days later it happened again.

My TV has no remote, the room smelled like someone smoked in it 3 years ago and it never went away, the super bright lights on the outside that lit up the building went straight into my window all night, my key stopped working on the second day I was there, the elevator went down on the last day, and the entire building was not consistently cooled down during the heat.

Oh, and my mini fridge wasn't stable, every time I tried to open the door I would drag the whole thing out.

This property is very very outdated and it's clear that the owners do not care about investing changing that. Some repairs had been made in my room, with very rough finishes.... Did not look good at all. The shower head was caked with hard water deposit. Knew there was no literature or information in my room and I was not notified upon checking in that you have to request cleaning services to your room. Therefore, I went two whole days without service by the time I found out.
The indoor pool was on the cool side, and the lights were very dim in that area.
Would not recommend. You get what you pay for.

Bit rundown, plenty of signs up, saying they’re repainting areas with notices on multiple floors with damage vandalism on the doors of the lift and signage inside the lift, ice machine on the ground floor out of order.
Hair noticeable in bathroom and on the wall in bathroom and in the bathtub of the shower. Shower-head clogged up with sediment so no pressure for shower. Multiple green stains on the carpet. Microwave in the room had no microwave plate in. I reported this to front desk. And the Front desk gave me a new plate which doesn’t fit. It’s too big. I had to have the inconvenience of stay of using the one down near the breakfast area on the ground floor.
White blind of room has a square cut in it from damage.
Bug crawling on the spare bed spread.
Breakfast is served from 6 to 10 AM. Noticed a very small amount of condiments maple syrup etc not restocked and a lack of cups for using for dispensing the waffle mix.
Waffle mix batter on the walls and other areas of the breakfast counter area that's not been cleaned since my whole stay there.
Regular noise from other rooms and the hallway as well. I mention it to the staff from the front desk. Their response was the owner neglect to take care or doesn’t do things because it doesn’t matter and they won’t listen to the feedback from the staff from guests.

We came from out of state. There was no parking and was asked if we would drop our trailer we had a 4x8 and leave it in ine place and park in another we refused. Hotel smelt like weed there was people in the mIn area and halls drinking and loud all theough the night and as well as outside the building. Want ice? You dont get that either. Food was bare, floor in hotel in front of bathroom was dirty almost like blood and because i am a bug freak i checked our bed for any signs of bugs and found dirty stained sheets . We got one key card for four people. It was very disappointing and a environment sadly my kids have never been exposed to and we will never visit again.
