For what this place costs I expect a better breakfast. Cold sausage links and powdered eggs is sub optimal.

Also, before I went through Expedia the front desk erroneously quoted me $4,000 dollars for the stay. When I asked her to repeat the cost each day she would not.

Finally, housekeeping stole cash from my jacket.

I love Residence Inn. We've stayed at this location multiple times while in Woodbury visiting family. The staff is always helpful. The rooms are like our own little apartment. Having a warm breakfast before starting our day is great. The only let down for me is that the last two times we've stayed, the hot tub has not been operational. While they do allow you to use the hot tub at the hotel across the parking lot (Courtyard by Marriott), when it's winter in Minnesota, you don't want to be trekking across the parking lot in a wet swimming suit.

Woodbury was beautiful, location was very convenient. Unfortunately front desk was not trained properly & I was charged for three days which I had already paid. When I told the front rest of the mistake I got magnet different responses & NOTHING was solved! I was out that extra money for my trip! They showed no remorse! I was offered 10,000 Marriott points but that was for the molded sheets & pillow case I showed them I was sleeping on!!! Like please do better!!!!!

The room I got was a one king size sweet non-smoking. It was a corner room on the first floor so it was easy access and very private. I did not hear any noise from any other rooms and I felt like I was in my own little apartment with a full size kitchen. The king size bed was the farthest away from the door so I did not hear any passing hallway traffic. Stuff were helpful and nice. Staff made it easy to book another night without having to leave the room. This will be my go to place if I ever need to rent a room again in r twin cities.

Door to outside open to the public (broken) most of the stay, felt unsafe. Couch dated, bed was comfortable. Only cleaned every other day and missed many things when cleaning. Slow check in but location is great

Check in at the front desk was very slow should be able to check in Via an app. Good place otherwise . Texas road house and sushi with in walking. Check out the cutest breakfast place called Sweet Paris crepes 😍. There is a Cub foods grocery across the road if you need stuff to cook or that you forgot. Lots of places around to grab a snack .

Booking expectations a major disappointment!

They didn’t have my room. Sent to the hotel across the parking lot to another hotel owned by the same group where the room was an additional $80. I didn’t get a king room or a suite, and my room was right against the noisy highway and I got no sleep. I need to be refunded for my room, and compensated for the additional expense at the next hotel, as well as inconvenience.

Utterly Disappointing-Sometimes Infuriating

We've stayed at this property on multiple occasions from 2016 until Covid in 2019. This was our prior go-to when coming back to visit my hometown. Our first stay in 4 years was a horrible letdown. With the exception of one industrious young man who seemed to be the only one working at check in, and the kitchen staff, service was horrible to non-existant. Upon our arrival, a young lady who we later found worked the front desk was parked in a handicapped spot to save herself steps. As a disabled person, who was forced to park and walk further away, I was infuriated. When we came down to the desk early New Year's morning, she had a sign on the desk that she was helping a customer. A few moments later we saw her stumble out of a guest room, fixing her hair, clearly having just woken up from a nap. This person needs to be terminated immediately. Overall, between the employee from hell, the reduction in services and personnel (we came back to the hotel in part for the daily Happy Hour, which is no longer), the hotel is a shadow of what it was. To top it off, we came back from dinner NYE to find that the elevators did not work and that we had to take a long walk up flights of stairs. I have one lung and less than 49% breathing capacity, so this was not a minor inconvenience. The only staff in the hotel was the night auditor, who was clearly overwhelmed. We paid a premium price for our stay but received a low budget experience - dismally disappointed

Our stay was fine - nothing that really stood out as extra special. I was really disappointed in the response of staff when we had an issue arise. There were kids running up and down the halls and they pounded on our door multiple times. We contacted the desk to share our concern and their response was we have some soccer players staying here, then said she would see if she could send someone up to do a walk through. I understand that they don't have control over a soccer team and what parents allow their children to do. However, it would have been nice if the response would have been - I am so sorry, we will look into this and if it continues please let us know. Rather than make excuses and a sense that there was no care or concern that it was going on. I am sure that we weren't the only ones that were having issues.

It takes a lot of balls to charge me $200 dollars for a room and then charge a “parking fee” for a lot that is massively oversized and shared with several other businesses. Be better than that Marriott. Staff was fantastic. Stay was nice.

One of the main reasons that we chose this property was the pool and hot tub. When I went to look at, there was no water in them. No info on the website about the closure, no info from check-in. When I inquired, I was told that we used a third party for our booking and could expect no compensation. I was told by the manager that if Hotels.com would call, they would give me a credit, they didn't. Very disappointing behavior from a Marriott facility's staff.

Covid seems to have become an excuse for disgraceful under staffing. One person at reception trying to deal with a very large hotel and its guests: not fair on her or any of her colleagues.
And really, a Book of Mormon in the bedside table, in addition to a Bible? I know the owner of Marriott is a Mormon, but can we just dispense with ALL \"holy books\" in hotels, please. It's creepy.
One additional observation about the staff: they all seem scared, like the management are awful to them. Not a nice atmosphere at all.

I rented one room from Thursday to September 2 and another room for my granddaughter overnight we had a brand new case of REDDS in the refrigerator we asked about it and I was still in my room they said they threw it out !!!! Brand new we only had two truly when the person who rented the room is still there why not give it to them I will not come back to your hotel after how far the laundry is from rooms and truly unfriendly personnel at front desk plus they aren’t at the desk you have to stand and wait for them.

This hotel was new and had all necessary amenities. Location was perfect with many nearby restaurants and grocery store. We stayed in 2 bedroom king suite. It was great for our family of 4 while we enjoyed our 5 night stay. The only “ding” was that some dishes in cabinet were not totally clean. But that was extremely minor. The basketball court was fun for our teenage boy. The area was great for morning walks. While we did not travel with our dog, this hotel is very dog friendly. We noticed many furry friends coming and going, but never experienced any problems with the pets. If I hadn’t seen them, I would have never known they were there.

Was a stressful family trip as we drove 3 hours to the hotel, stayed there because it was conveniently close to where the family dog was having a big surgery the next day, and were not made aware until checking in at 9pm that there is also a room fee over $100 for the dog to stay, which basically doubled the room charge. Pull-out bed was extremely uncomfortable and the underside of the toilet seat was dirty upon entering the room.

Show has an awful design with this large metal slab over the drain- dropped all night and made the most obnoxious sound. Bed sheets were not soft and the bed in general was terrible. There were stains on the couch and walls when I arrived.

I’ve stayed here at least 12 times now and it’s always been a great place to stay. I don’t like the waiver that must be signed at check in now. It shouldn’t need to be signed by frequenters. It’s a bit uncomfortable and intimidating. I was also a bit uneasy about my stay for the New Year in which we were told to limit our noise in the lobby because another party didn’t like our choice of music. I felt it was a bit racist and insulting not to mention the music wasn’t loud or disrespectful to the other party in the lobby. The staffperson apologized after the party left and I was alone cleaning up after our party. Still a great hotel and a great staff but some loyalty to those like myself who’s brought thousands of dollars to the hotel would go along way.

With just a little more effort...

The only negative was that I could not get my computer to connect to the free wifi. It was a problem with the settings on my tablet. But instead of having me come to the desk to get it working properly, they gave me a number to call. How off-putting. Aside from that everything was quite good, except there is no neighborhood to speak of. Restaurants are not walkable, especially during the minnesota winter. Some will deliver, however. Groceries are also a ways off. The upside is immediate access to Interstate and a very nice pool area.
