Our bathroom did not have any grab bars which made it very dangerous for me when taking a shower. The pictures on line showed grab bars with the tub/shower units. We put grab bars in our 1928 old house and they are not that expensive. Please consider these updates to keep your guests safe and continue to stay at your hotel.

Overall great stay. It was just a short stay. Had family coming in from out of town, and getting together with family in town but not enough room for everyone, and not everyone wanted to drive home late at night after a get together. So my brother in law and I split a room.
The good: clean, reasonably comfortable, quiet (minus my snoring I'm told lol), late check-in, breaksfast smelled great despite we were in a hurry and didn't partake, friendly staff.
The improvement suggestions: really only thing that wasn't perfect was the beds were very firm, and the A/C unit was a little tricky. But we made it work.

Stayed here for a girls’ trip and it was perfect! The hotel was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were comfortable with plenty of space. We had no issues at all during our time here, which made the trip even better. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free getaway!

This is the second time staying here and from now on I will stay here whem I come to Hudson. The hostess was very nice and knowledgeable about a few things I asked her about. Very clean room from top to bottom. Comfortable bed and the whole night it was very quiet.

I wiped it up and it did not return. I did not report, seemed like a one time thing. Second night i got up twice for bathroom, and both times i got wet feet. We looked closer and there seemed to be a hole drilled in thecenter of the old lamp.
I reported it to the front desk. Instead of the apology i expected, i was chastised for not reporting it immediately. The front desk person was rude and made me feel like it was my fault it leaked.
Will never stay here again, nor will i recommend.

We were on the second floor, but there were no elevators, so we had to lug our suitcase up (and down) the stairs. The free breakfast was minimal, but satisfactory. It is conveniently located next to shopping areas which we made use of. It seemed like the bed was smaller than queen size--possibly full?

We were very happy with the two nights we stayed here and would stay here again if we travel back that way! It was quiet, the rooms are small but seemed to be clean. For the price it was a good experience. The only drawbacks were 1. The breakfast was extremely limited. Just a toaster with some breads, apple and 2 cereal. 2. The house keeping came through our room even though we had a \"do not disturb\" sign out on our door. 3. Though there is no kitchen or restaurants nearby the whole room got filled with the odor of maybe onions being cooked, unsure of where it was coming from but I had a cold at the time and I could still overwhelmingly smell it.

No elevator so all stairs if you’re on the 2nd floor which is fine but it would be nice if they would give you a heads up on that!! Check in was fine. First room we were put next to a room with a loud barking dog. Switched rooms. Second room had a bleach smell that was VERY overpowering!!! We had to open the windows as my eyes were burning. It was hard to breathe.

The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful, and our bed seemed updated and decent compared to the rest of the room. The chair in our room reeked like urine, however, so we just pushed it far away from the bed and tried to ignore the sour smell all night. We only stayed one night for a short sleep otherwise we would have asked for a different room. It was an off season so there weren't too many guests, and the ones that were there were quiet and respectful.

The window lock had actually been drilled out, and the window was not closed when I called the front desk to tell them such he told me it should be OK. The windows only open 10 inches people can’t get in. I asked for a different room. He gave me a different room. I felt so uneasy the place was dirty. There was only one other guests there they had their room propped open. I tried to stay. It was so uncomfortable. I had to leave. I contacted hotels.com. They said they were going to call to verify with the motel. They said the motel would not answer. I went to the front desk told him I was too uncomfortable to stay there with the window and the cleanliness of the room I sent pictures of the dirt in the hair and the black mold in the bathroom to Hotels.com. I am still waiting to find out if they’re going to credit my account since I had to leave a single woman traveling alone and felt very uncomfortable
