The room was very clean, but there was black mold around the water spout in the tub. The existing caulk just needed to be redone. The TV did not work because the receiver box was plugged into the wall behind the TV stand so we had to move furniture in order for the remote to communicate to the box. The volume did not work so anything we watched was blaring loud. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal only, so we ended up having to find somewhere for breakfast. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful, but this hotel needs some upgrades.

We had a group of 8 rooms and unanimously agree the beds are old and terrible. Not worth it. The rest of the stay was acceptable. Most important feature of a room though needs to be addressed!

Booked to stay four months in advance. Six weeks prior to going on trip we added a rollaway bed to the room. Day of trip we called them six hours ahead of time to let them know we were on our way, but would be a late check-in. When we arrived, the person checking us in was closing out our account because no one had notified them that we were going to be a late check-in. Also, there was no rollaway bed and what they called a hammock was a chair swing from the ceiling that obviously no one could sleep in.

The hotel and the room was clean from what I observed. The staff was friendly. The breakfast had good choices. The hot tub felt good on a chilly evening.
I arrived in the evening and left in the morning. The only reason I gave a four star was because the mattress felt like it was definitely ready to be replaced.

The property itself and the rooms were very clean. The room conditions were much improved from past experiences from over a year ago. Kudos to the improvement efforts! Staff were very friendly. The location is very close (could walk) to several restaurant options as well as Anytime Fitness.

The only complaints are:
•It would be helpful if staff would let customers know there are no elevators to the 2nd floor (we spent 10 minutes looking for them).
•The beds have very basic/cheap mattresses that are very hard and uncomfortable.

Customer service the worst. Rude demeaning staff. Kids running all day and night in the halls. Didn’t get the conference room my friend had reserved. Beds were so uncomfortable. You can hear right through the walls. Way too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub. No towels for the pool. There’s like a film of grime in the hot tub like it’s not being properly cleaned. We had many rooms for my friends birthday and it was a horrible time for everyone.

This was not a good stay. The staff was not very knowledgeable about anything around the area and the room was dirty. The coffee maker was filthy and had not been cleaned out but the worst part was that our bedsheets were used! They had food in them and black hairs which is disgusting! I have been sick so when I was exhausted and ready to sleep my husband had to go and ask for new bedsheets and we had to change them OURSELVES! Used bed sheets is a major health hazard especially if bodily fluids are on them and could have a disease or illness. Their cleaning products in the hall were disgusting and it was a dirty swiffer that looked like it had been going room to room and never changed out. We had no Do Not Disturb sign in our room and the shower lost hot water when we were showering. When we complained about this all they offered a $20 discount for our troubles. For real?! A $400 bill and they only offer $20. Unacceptable.

The hotel was clean but beginning to show some signs of age. No elevator made schlepping luggage more of a challenge. One guest was smoking right outside the side door and cigarette smoke came into our second floor room. Not pleasant.

The staff started to vacuum the hallway at 7:30 in the morning. When asked if he had to do it at that time he said well I was told to do it. Also, kids were running down the hallway at 7 am. The breakfast room was a mess and no one was cleaning it up or adding more food to the choices that were gone. When we checked o it and said something about the vacuum the staff member just said oh yes that is very inconvenient. She didn’t even care just said goodbye.

The rooms are clean and well cared for. The lobby, breakfast area and public restrooms could be more clean and updated. Staff was friendly and when told the light over our room desk did not work and the bathroom tissue in the public ladies room was nonfunctional, they appreciated knowing and stated items would be attended to promptly.

The hotel was easy to find but it was older. The beds were lumpy and the room fridge had a huge ice chunk in it when we arrived and over the course of our stay, the ice melted and there was a huge wet spot on the floor.

Terrible. No exhaust fan in bathroom so room filled with humidity and the air conditioner could not take it all out. We like to reuse our towels but could not because they never dried. The sheets were so old they were piled will never stay there again. When we first got to our room we didn’t like it as it faced the parking lot. We went back to the front desk and asked for a different room but the girl was not trained very well and didn’t know know to. I’ve us so we were stuck with the room

Disregard for Person with Disabilities

I booked a double queen for my daughter and I. I sent the hotel a message requesting a room on the first floor or a room next to an elevator, due to mobility issues because of my disability. I called the morning of, and verified my booking and room. All was good per the front. When we came in, they had swapped our room with someone else because the other person brought a dog. They had put us upstairs at the end of the hall, farthest away from the front door, where we parked. And they have no elevator. The room they gave us had one queen bed and a pull out couch, which has extremely uncomfortable. The guy who check us in was very kind and offered to help carry things, but it didn’t matter. They gave me a “discount” that was only a $3 difference. There was no correspondence prior to our arrival. Very mad.

Was in the area for graduation at University of River Falls, close & convenient where we needed to go, nice outside patio to enjoy the outdoors rooms could use upgrading as there was a musty smell to them & the mattresses were not comfortable rooms were not real sound proof but it worked for the 1 night we needed to stay.

Hotel definitely needs to be updated. The bed sheets were very used and need to be replaced. Our room looks like it wasn't dusted. The curtain have holes.
Breakfast was lacking. Eggs were terrible and we were told there were a lot of food options, which really only consisted of cereal and breads.

I chose this hotel because it was close to a hockey tournament we were attending. I had a king suite with the hot tub. The night stand had condoms in it from I'm assuming the previous occupants, the TV was tiny, and the pool and hot tub were not open which is why I got a hotel for the kids. The breakfast was what you'd expect. Other than that the hotel lobby was nice and neat and quiet. Easy access to the rest of the town
