I have never had to request a new room until this stay. The room smelt terrible like cigarettes and fried food. We requested a new room as the smell was nauseating. The second room was dirty- stains on bedding, hair in bathroom sink, and looked like soda had sprayed all over the nightstand. The gentleman working the counter was helpful and apologetic.
Susan
Nice place to stay. Nothing fancy, but it served it's purpose. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that the carpet in our room was dirty! Our feet and the soles of our shoes were gray from the carpet in the room.
Gary August
Breakfast buffet was sparse. No bread or pastry products during most days. We needed to ask for wash cloths which were not provided.
Kathryn M
My stay provided a clean quiet and cool place for the night. Even had a quick breakfast before leaving.
Connie
Ice machine did not work has to go down two doors. The pool needed to be cleaned and the filter room was dirty. The pool was cloudy and could not see the bottom. Did not use it. It's on whirl pull did not work and sand in the bottom. Did not use it. Service and food was excellent.
Laurie
Quick efficient check in. Clean rooms. Good overall selection for breakfast.

We come to Hudson at least once a year and normally stay at another hotel. However, for this trip we decided to try this hotel. Upon arrival, there was a drink in the fridge, some type of substance on the air conditioning unit, and hair throughout the shower. Thankfully, once calling down to the front desk, they sent someone up to clean the bathroom. This hotel is very run down and needs to be updated. The carpet is gross, the bathroom shower has ONE little tray which holds maybe a bar of soap (and it’s a walk-in, so no ledge) and the pool is itsy bitsy. However, the staff are wonderful, and I was so impressed that the housekeeper cleaned our room while we were downstairs for breakfast. What a treat! We probably won’t come back here, but we’d consider it if they did some renovations.
Shayla
The staff were wonderful my whole stay. However, the entire building beyond the lobby smelled like pot and neither of the ice machines in the building worked by the time I checked out.
Mark
A/C in our room would not cool it below 75 degrees. Nice place but in need of upgrades
Paul

Location was key; easy access off of the Interstate. Delicious breakfast options. We had a very comfortable bed to sleep in.
Brittany
The room we booked through Expedia wasn't available upon arrival but we were flexible and made what they had available work for our group.

Convenient location, clean, quiet, and great staff!
Randy
This was one of the best \"Best Western Hotels\" we've stayed at. The pool was nice, clean and near the front desk for good observation by staff. The breakfast bar was typical but nice. Best tea selection I've seen- not everyone drinks coffee!
Darrin
Excellent breakfast. Lots of nearby stores.
Kristiann
Very friendly staff clean rooms and comfy beds

Many other options at this price point in the area- book elsewhere! Desk clerk was extremely rude, did not listen when I was reporting an issue with the room- empty beer can left on bathroom towel rack in our 1st assigned room. 2nd room, bathroom door needed repair, bath faucet was so short, I couldn’t brush my teeth or wash hands without bumping back of dirty sink, and the sheets on my bed had large holes in them.
Also, only 2 parking stalls in the lot that were supposed to be for handicap were illegal ones- did not meet statutory requirements of sign in front of stall & handicap emblem painted on the ground in the stall.

Elisabeth
The staff was excellent. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. Hot breakfast was really good. There was a nice large breakfast area and many options for food. The cheese and sour cream should’ve been refrigerated though. They were left out on the counter. Lots of condiments. There were even grab and go containers. I thought that was nice. They had a high tech coffee/hot chocolate machine. Plenty of drinks. They even had a waffle maker.
Overall, it was a great experience. I was disappointed that the pool was a bit chilly though. Also, was no bathtub for my preschooler. They are trying to update the property and pool area. It was a really nice and quiet hotel. I would stay there again.

The coffee maker was missing from our room. I let the staff know of it. Our overall stay was excellent.

The overall property is neglected, in need of better cleaning and updated linens (thin towels). Breakfast bar needs improvement - stale bread and expired milk. The door to the fridge in our wouldn’t stay closed,
Alexander
Smelt a bit of stale ciggaretts, they refused to give me a final bill, random people walking through hotel with heavy coats on from front to rear exit, and hot tub didnt work and was dirty
Jon
Room was clean. Heater did not work.

I was there for a family funeral. They provided me with a quiet room that was VERY comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was walking distance to numerous eateries. It was a good choice.
Matthew
The room was clean Shower had very little water pressure
Christian
Hassles over my reservation.
Karen
The room was stuffy, we slept with air conditioning on, the temperature outside was in the 40’s. No house keeping for one of the days. Some confusion about are room, both by maintenance and the person at the desk.
Ofer
Great place to stay when in Hudson, WI. Clean, pleasant, and safe. Access to coffee and tea 24/7.
Sophie
Not pleased with this location. Walking down the hallway of the hotel to my room I could smell mold, it was worse in my room. The air conditioning unit was nastily dirty. I will never stay at this location again.
Jeremy
–Main lamp in room did not work.
–Constant stomping in room above ours; stopped for a while after we contacted front desk at 10 p.m. -- resumed again at 5 a.m.
–Dog barked throughout night on our floor.
–Hot tub was really just hot water; jets were not powerful at all.

Room mix up after paying for a different room with no refund. Staff was friendly enough. It's a Best Western, you get what you pay for. We stayed here because wedding party picked this hotel for location.
mark
Refrigerator was not cleaned out.
Our refrigerator did not work and the last person who stayed there left a box with pizza in it that was very moldy.
rachel
Room was nice and big. Beds were wonderful. Toilet was very wobbly tho. Other then that, staff was wonderful as well. I accidentally forgot my Birkenstock sandals there, I called them, they made sure I was able to get them back. Front desk was great to work with.
Melanie
Hotel is okay, good enough for a quick stay or emergency. However I was unsatisfied with the cleanness and customer service. The bed sheets and pillows were dirty had dust and hair still. The shower and sink was still dirty. It is supposed to be a non smoking building and our room spelled like pure cigarettes. We requested a high floor and still could hear people banging on the walls and walking etc late at night. Customer service was horrible when calling and in person. Will definitely not be coming back!
Phillip
The breakfast was rather poor. Wish there was yogurt. The
biscuits were extremely hard, the milk in the cartons were frozen. The sausage was of poor quality.

Kathy
We had a 2-room suite which was nice and spacious. Hotel was clean and employees were personable. Breakfast was average hotel fare; eggs, sausage, cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurts, juices, etc.
Craig
Respectable and affordable.

The management on staff was welcoming, knowledgable and very helpful. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Richard
The staff was exceptional, especially Sam at the front desk. Anything we needed he took care of. He was also very nice and friendly. the only negative would be the washing machines did not work and the Ice machine on our floor was out of order. Breakfast every morning was very good for a free meal. When we go back to see our kids this is were we will stay.
Robert
Whoever is on the third floor cause I was in 322. That room stinks extremely bad. It smells like Indian spice and it does not go away. It made me sick and I smelled like that for two days.
Jessica
Staff was wonderful
Debbie
Was not all that clean and did not smell good! I would not stay there again.

Some great, some improvement.
Clean hotel, breakfast area was clean and stocked during the serving times, and tasted delicious! Our biggest dispointmemt was our king size bed which was way too hard for us. It was painful getting out of bed in the morning for me. The floor also creaked when walking on it, hopefully we did disturb people below us.
Lourdesita
The staff are very hepful and accomodating
Brandon
Had a king bed was way too firm for us. Hot tub and pool were great! Great location very convenient
Jean
Ice machine on 3rd floor did not work. No out of order sign. Hot tub would not turn on so maintenance turned it on. Jets extremely weak. Very difficult to unlock the room door handle.
There is a Keurig in the room which is very nice
There are numerous eating places in the area

Lot of dining options in the area. Pool / whirlpool was fine. They did have alternate milk options which were greatly appriciated.
Craig
Staff was great, nice clean hotel.
Jeff
It was nice

Found out you have to ask for cleaning. It’s not done daily. We stayed 5 days. I was wondering why they didn’t come in daily to clean. It’s in the fine print and wasn’t told about it. That’s one of the places you have to initial.
Veronica
The breakfast was not what i was expecting. The hot tub did not work and nothing was posted to let us know.
Anna
The bathroom was not very clean and the window shade would not move up or down. It looked broken and was very dirty. There was dust and cobwebs on it and the metal piece that holds it in the track was broken and bent. We couldn't see how to get the shade all the way down. Did not feel we had very good privacy.
The only thing we liked was the beds were very comfortable.

Room are accessed by a magnetic card. We got locked out twice. The toilet in our room was not bolted down to the floor. The security lock was missing. The refrigerator did not work properly. The coffee maker did not close properly. Microwave oven buttons didn’t work only the on button worked. When taking a shower if the unit above flushes the toilet the shower goes cold. They moved us to another room the next day. There was missing molding in the room. The shower floor was dirty and there was pink mold. Told the cleaning person on the floor and he said that was clean enough.
For the staff asked the receptionist how to get to Downtown Hudson and she was not helpful.
When we talked to the manager he had an attitude and then said don’t ever reserve a room with them. Trust me we will never book with that hotel. This property is not up to BW “plus” standards.
After reading the reviews from other people they are all true and wished I read them before booking. Just the way the hotel responded to the reviews is the way they responded to us when we pointer out what was wrong with our stay, and we have pictures for proof.

Steven
Easy and quick!!
James
It was an ok hotel
Dan
Hotel had a lot of very odd smells from the entrance into the rooms. The lobby area smelled like someone dumped a body of cologne to mask the smell of something else.
Terry
Exactly what I was looking for
Pamela S
Great
Trevis
Very nice location. Rooms and property could be updated. Pool was not heated like it says and the hot tub was not working. That would have been nice to know prior to booking.
Renee
Overall the property was neat, clean, and safe. It was a bit noisy with sirens and vehicle alarms going off outside, and loud voices in the hallway.
Fred
Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Very comfortable bed and a relaxing quiet evening.
Karen
Third floor ice bone dry. Vending machine not stocked, water bottles look like they have been there for months. Hockey tournament this weekend yet not noisy at all. Didnt receive a receipt.
KRISTENE A
The staff was very professional, friendly and accommodating. The property was clean and felt very safe. I will definitely stay here again.
