Check in was easy, although no elevator to the 2nd floor which.may sound petty but can be many trips back and forth to your car. The room was clean, bed comfortable. The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was low.. Coffee was good, breakfast ok, nothing spectacular.
Phyllis
Nothing wrong at all. Nice room, pleasant staff, good breakfast, free parking.
Davoud
The hotel is just an average or below average hotel.
Rene
The property and room were very well-maintained and clean. The building was quiet all night. Staff were friendly and helpful providing us with extra towels quickly when we asked. The breakfast was acceptable but nothing grand or showy. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi staying up way too late for our own good! My partner and I highly recommend and know we'll return for our next overnight escape from the chaos at home.
Rob
No elevator. Room was 81 degrees when we arrived.
Richard

Good lady at reception, very helpful. Good staff waited for my son to finish breakfast.

loved it! had a great night for our anniversary weekend.

Clean, simple rooms. It does take a bit for the TV to turn on (Dish TV). Otherwise it's a nice hotel 👍

If your child or you becomes ill or vomits on the floor or bed, a $150 damage deposit will be incurred. Their TVs experienced technical difficulties, and I was unable to watch one show without it glitching same with our friend who was staying in the other room, had the same problem with the TV
Paige
Room was great, we stayed in the king room not a suite but it was plenty for our stay. Pool and hot tub were super enjoyable!
Sarah
Couteous staff, clean rooms and a fun pool and hot tub area.
Shawn
The overall experience of the hotel was amazing! The room was clean, we did have an issue with the smoke alarm being faulty but they helped asap with the issue. The staff was courteous and respectful, helping out with a dispute with expedia charging for the room and the system with pre-check in charging for the room as well.quick and easy matter to fix. Also the atmosphere was peaceful since we decided to come in during the slower season to enjoy a little vacation from home! 10/10 would book here again!
Abhishek
Good place
Teresa
The room was spotless and fresh smelling. The staff were friendly, professional, and available when needed. There is a small breakfast provided with hot and cold items.
Terence
Easy check-in, comfortable and quiet room, personable staff, and a nice breakfast.
Nicholous
The room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was a good option and value, and the bathtub was clean and deep enough for a nice comfortable soak. The Soap dispensers were all full and I liked the products.
The bedding was nice and the bed itself very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful.
No elevator for the second floor, so ask for the 1st if thats an issue.

The hot tub and pool were amazing! The hot tub was super hot! Love that it's open so late. Great stay! My grandkids loved the adjoining rooms! Staff was super friendly! Thank you!
Jane
Staff was very friendly. Location quiet and accessible. Toilets in regular rooms are way too low!
Akhmiri
Staff was courteous. Room was alright. My room mate enjoyed the pool very much
Brian
Was impressed with our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and very inviting. Loved the beautiful colors of the maples outside our window and the fireplace that made it very cozy along with time in the jacuzzi. Staff was accommodating and efficient. And I love that they had historical photos in the hallways. Pool area was clean and inviting. Breakfast was delicious with many hot and cold options. We will be back next year with the kids!

Great customer service
Allison
Hot tub was out of order, if we had known at check in we would have upgraded our room .
Tom
There was hair on the walls in the shower
Scott
Excellent
Everything was just as it should be, which isnt always the case these days. I would have liked an alarm clock in the room, but that is so minor. Clean, well maintained, and friendly hotel.
Jodie

Researched area for room with private hot tub inside room.
Everything led to understand this is what i was purchasing.
Get here, and it's a oh no that's not the room you reserved.
Room smelled horrible
Fridge was moldy, dingy, unkept from decades ago.
TV did not work
AC was a struggling, then began switching , clicking on off every couple seconds.
AVOID THIS HOTEL

The location of the property is good. The staff was excellent. The cleanliness in general was pretty good. The shower had very little water pressure and within five hours of checking in I took my shoes off and realized the floor was really wet and soggy and had a really bad odor
Kris
The staff was AMAZING!!! They were super friendly and helpful. Also, it was nice that the pool was open until midnight

Overpriced
The room was stale smelling, no fan in bathroom or bedroom area. Carpet seemed damp. Bathroom area small. Shower head had little water pressure. Water leaked from the sink faucet. Only good thing was their breakfast. It was kept very clean and well stocked. One of the drink vending machines not working…no sign posted until we reported it. We have stayed at AmericInn before…by far, this was the worst. For the price we paid, very OVERPRICED! This hotel was worse than a hotel 6.
Ryan
Great location. Within 25 minutes to pretty much every major tourist attraction and 8 minutes from downtown Stillwater. Clean rooms and great customer service.

Pretty Good Place to Stay
There was no elevator but the view outside our first floor wind was not the parking lot but plants and trees. The breakfast was ok and the coffee was probably brewed.
Vince
Kinda crazy lots of people not sure if it was a wedding or graduation party.
Kathleen
I would rate this whole experience as excellent if it wasn't for an experience we had with our room. We had been checked in for about an hour and a half, resting before we got ready to attend an event, when someone opened our door & started to come in. About 10 min. later, the desk clerk came to our door and said that someone else had requested this room (online?), as it was larger, and they asked us to move to a different room. We really weren't given an option and were consequently moved to a smaller room. No compensation or options were given to us. As it was our anniversary celebration that I had booked 4 months in advance, it was very disappointing. I felt they could have done better!
Michael
Very friendly staff and nice large very clean room.
Ann
Nice pool area. Overall the smell in the common areas was very strong-like air freshener or cleaner. There was a big bald patch in our carpet and the room smelled musty and kind of damp.
Andrew
Ac sounded like a jet engine when it kicked on. Very noisy doors slamming g throughout the night not great for light sleepers
Ryan
Great comfy hotel. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was amazing. Bed were comfortable too. My son and my nephew had a great time swimming and relaxing.
Elizabeth
Good location to all of Stillwater. Have to drive to down town but nice place to stay
Elizabeth
Good place to stay always
Elizabeth
My go to place to stay in Stillwater. Always look forward to it and haven’t been disappointed
NICOLE
Very well maintained and clean property.
Adam
Paid for a mistaken booking. Thought I had booked the Hudson property, and only found out when getting to Hudson.
Scott
Location was a bit off the beaten path
Duane
Not the best
There is no elevator and my wife couldn’t do the stairs. We were offered a room on the first floor but was two queen beds instead of a king. The first room had an issue with the door that couldn’t be opened, so then had to get our third room. The room was quiet but we passed on breakfast. The coffee we threw out as well.
Melinda
Super nice hotel for the price point!
Would definitely stay again.
Would definitely stay again.
Manas
I liked the convenience, comfort, and quietness of the property.
Perry
In room refrigerator was noisy and had to be unplugged at night. The fitted sheet on the bed was inside out.
Kevin
The person at front desk was very accommodating with our requests
Carol
Nice hotel for the price. A little hard to get to.

AWESOME hotel in every way!!!
Everything was so awesome, and we can't recall when we had everything so great from the time we registered to when we left. The customer service, cleanliness, vending machine choices (and prices), breakfast, getting an accessible room for my husband, water pressure, etc. was wonderful. We were in the area for a family Wake/Funeral. We definitely will be returning to the AmericInn-Stillwater/Oak Park Heights on our next adventurous stay in Stillwater this Summer/Fall.
Erin
Clean rooms. Nice staff. Quiet.
Kimberly

I liked how simple the process was and how kind the staff was. The room was clean and the hotel well kept. I would definitely stay again.
John
Pretty decent for the price - front desk was helpful and accomodating. Nice little spot!
Ben
Staff is polite and helpful.
Sandra
The price was a bit much but it was a weekend. Because i didnt let thdm know i couldnt do stairs, they had to upgrade by $100. I really didnt want to spend 350 for a room for 8 hours
David
Clean property, friendly, professional staff. The only negative, they don’t have an elevator to get to second floor.
Jason
Great experience! Very clean. Well maintained. Breakfast was well stocked and the tables were cleaned as soon as people left.
Cassandra
Our room was spacious and clean, and we really enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi. The staff was courteous. Breakfast was standard, and the food was readily replenished by the staff when needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hotel was quiet and a good place to stay when visiting the Stillwater area.
Steven
Nice place
Kristal
There was mold in our mini fridge. Breakfast was the same each morning. Staff was friendly.
Kay
We had a pleasant visit here, very cordial staff! Nice breakfast was provided. Shopping and dining options were great!
Heather
was conveniently close to stores for easy shopping. But felt like a quite neighborhood.
Holly
It was exactly what I needed in the area I wanted. Easy check in, good hot breakfast and nice hot tub for a reasonable price.
Sandy
The bed was a bit hard. The room's were clean and the staff was friendly. I was a bit disappoint in the fact that i could not get a king bed when i got there as i accidentally booked two queen beds, since i booked with Expedia they are not able to make any changes
Helen

Everything about the stay was excellent except when you walk on the carpet in our room and bare feet, it felt sticky and dirty

Musty smell throughout the hotel…floors were dirty and covered in dog hair…there was a dog barking in one of the rooms…and hotel just has an overall dirty, outdated look. Will never stay there again!
On a positive note…staff was friendly and helpful.

The beds were a bit hard and the linens a bit rough and scratchy.

The staff and overall the hotel was very nice and we had a great stay. The only problem is the very poor wifi connection. If you are dependent on wifi during your stay I would consider other hotels in the area. If not this is a great place to stay.

We had a very comfortable 3 day stay in Stillwater at the AmericInn.

difficulty with handicap shower area
Only concern was for the shower; which was difficult for my wife in a wheel chair... the soap dispensers were on the wall high up so she could not reach them from the handicap seat located across from them....
