I was skeptical upon checking in. When I saw the room, there was a hole in the sheet on the bed. The air conditioner didn’t work.
The Lobby wasn’t clean or welcoming.
My husband and I decided we wouldn’t stay and requested a refund. The only positive thing was the girl who checked us in. She was pleasant and helpful.

I really wanted to give this place a two start review but when all of my clothes smelled like smoke after staying in this hotel for two days I had to give them one star. I am going to be detailed just so people know what they are getting into. First the good things. The bed was clean and nice and there were no bugs. The location is easy to get to and from (although the neighborhood seemed questionable). Other than that just about everything else was bad. I arrived at the hotel at around 3pm and the small parking lot was already crowded. There was no handicap parking (not that the space was taken up, there just was none). The front desk had a notice that all guests needed to present photo IDs for check in, there was a sign next to the desk that anyone that was not a guest and had not checked in with a photo ID would be considered trespassing under Florida's laws (this hotel is of course not in Florida). The hotel lobby smelled funny, like a combination of mold and old cigarette smoke. When I got up to the second floor to my room the odor of cigarette smoke was much stronger, the hallway reeked if it. Our room smelled a little bit better but I suspect they had just sprayed some sort of deodorizer spray in there (the cigarette small came right back). Everything I had smelled like smoke when I got home.

First of all, the staff were friendly and nothing to complain about. The girl who checked me in was especially nice. That's about where the good ends here. The property is old and dated but as I went to my room I thought that the room must be nicer. I was definitely mistaken. The pictures online are nothing like what the hotel looks like at this stage. There's a TV and a bed in the room and that's about it. I realize that it's a motel 6 but I have stayed in plenty of them and this is by far the worst. The paint on the walls is pretty rough and overall the walls and floor were dirty, there's no adjusting the temperature in the room, holes in the curtains, and there were random hairs places. I was staying here by myself and was gone all day so I didn't need much but even so, I don't think I would have made the same choice when it came to choosing this place. There is NO WAY I would stay here with my family. So with all that being said, if you're wanting a hotel with a decent location and you're really wanting to save some money, MAYBE this is a okay option. Now if you're in the city and you really need to save money, I would probably still try one of the other places that were very close in price. Now again, the staff was pleasant enough and I would say that they are making a pretty rough place into...well, slightly better.

The whole hotel reeked of marijuana, our room was missing the advertised fridge and microwave, and the overall atmosphere was unpleasant. What was supposed to be an affordable place to stay felt more like a hangout for long-term residents than a hotel for travelers. Definitely not the experience we were expecting, and we won’t be back.

The one positive aspect of our stay was the staff. They were understanding and accommodating when we expressed our concerns. Although we had originally booked three nights, they allowed us to check out after the first night without penalty and refunded us for the remaining two nights. We greatly appreciated their professionalism and customer service.

The motel is located close to a couple of gas stations, McDonalds, Arbys, etc. and it's very close to the interstate. My room was clean, no soft chair, looked like it had just been painted as there was still blue painters tape around the towel rack. TV and wifi worked well, loads of hot water, smaller towels, vinyl flooring (no carpet or rugs). Bed was adequate. Motel room was not sound proof - I could hear everything. The neighborhood is fairly quiet though. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay for 1 evening. The night auditor was very nice and helpful.

Awful place. The TV, AC and phones didn’t work. Our bed looked like a grade schooler made it, it was dirty w/make up stains on it. The floor was super dirty along with the hallways. It smelled wicked bad. All the esthetics were horrible & that wasn’t even the worst of it, when I reported it to the front desk clerk did nothing to reconcile any of it, instead he told me that because we waited a couple hrs after we got there to report it that essentially they didn’t really care, he tried to tell me they would kick me out because I complained about their dumpy hotel. Putting the blame on me for their disgusting, dusty hotel but then when my husband went down to talk to them he told him I smelled like alcohol!! I don’t drink alcohol so it was a low down dirty accusation. I was living. I can’t believe someone in customer service was that terrible. DO NOT GO THIS HOTEL! Spend the extra money to be somewhere of quality.

I wasn't aware there would be no refrigerator or microwave. It is my fault for not looking at everything on Expedia's website, I've just never stayed somewhere that doesn't offer that. The people staying there were very sketchy and I witnessed an arrest while I was there and later in the fire department showed up. I really didn't feel safe having my mother there so I didn't stay the following evening and we got another hotel in a safer area.

I've been waiting to do this review since February. I got a room here because Im pregnant and was going through homelessness. I got there and the lady at the front desk assigned me to someone else's room, we went in and thank God no one was in the room ATM, that would've been weird and uncomfortable. We got to the room we were supposed to have, there were roaches, room was barely clean. Some staff goof around a lot and talk about the costumers while on stift, very unprofessional. The walls are thin so I can hear EVERYTHING. WIFI doesn't work and if you have a Xbox or PS forget about because you can only use the Internet on your phone and it makes you log in every 30 minutes, sad. I was there 3 years ago and things just got 10 times worse. They need a inspection.

My stay at this Motel 6 was very disappointing. I rented a queen‑size room for one person to stay overnight, and the amenities were extremely limited. There was no chair in the room, which made it uncomfortable to sit or work. There was no microwave, no refrigerator, and not even basic utensils available. The room felt empty and unfinished, and the lack of essentials made the stay inconvenient.

The price may be low, but the comfort and setup do not meet the expectations of most travelers. This location needs major improvement in room furnishings and basic amenities. Although there was no waiting during my second stay, the limited amenities were still a major issue.
