Started out with a ten minute wait to check in. There was no parking in the front. Traveling as a solo lady had to park in the back wich was dark and there was not a near door. The closest door had me carrying my luggage up stairs. Im a 60 year old lady. The place was not your usual nice homey country Inn and suites it was showing it's ware. The toilet struggled to flush. The carpetting stained and dirty. The shower was handicapped with a shower seat that had obviously not been cleaned. No shelf in shower to put soap or anything. There were no towels stocked in the bathroom. When I called the front desk the person who answered said oh ok but didnt even offer any be brought up.( which would have been too late anyhow.

I’ll start with the positives: the staff were wonderful—accommodating, polite, and responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, the positives largely end there. On the downside, we were initially given keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned, and had to call the front desk to resolve the issue. The second room was clean, but the rooms themselves are quite outdated. The bathroom is very small, and the bathtub is in poor condition with peeling flooring that made my kids hesitant to use it due to discoloration.

The amenities and toiletries were insufficient, especially for a room meant to accommodate five people. The beds were uncomfortable, particularly the pull-out couch, which was unacceptable as the springs were poking through the fabric. We chose not to complain again because with two toddlers, moving rooms wasn’t a practical option, and there was no guarantee another room would be better. We simply placed blankets over what I would consider an unsafe mattress.

Additionally, the noise level was a major issue. While it was quiet when we arrived on Friday, Saturday was very disruptive. We were on the third floor, and it seemed like children running back and forth on the fourth floor above us all day long caused a headache and kept my kids awake late into the night, resulting in poor rest for all of us.

Overall, it was not a pleasant stay, and unfortunately, I don’t think we will be returning

Hotel room was spacious. Bathroom, clean. Definitely an older property in need of updates (rickety elevator, old carpet, general wear and tear). Breakfast was unhealthy as are most hotel breakfasts in the US. No better, no worse. OK value. Good place to get some rest before our next flight. However, we waited 1 hour before finally getting a shuttle from the airport (we started calling at 11:54pm, and the shuttle driver finally pulled in to pick us up after 1:00am). It appears that the front desk employee was "helping another guest" for the 8 calls i made). Or, was the driver M.I.A. for an hour? Anyway, our room was quiet, and the morning crew seemed more attentive.

Would give 0 stars but that wasnt an option. Outdated vs dirty are 2 different things but this place was outright dirty. Stained sheets. Moldy dirty pool area which also had ants. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6am but it didnt open until later so by the time our shuttle got there at 6:15 it wasnt open, we were hoping to grab a coffee before the shuttle but couldnt. Toilet in our room didnt work.

The breakfast needs an upgrade, pool area needs work. One hot tub down along with some wall damage. Rooms need to be cleaned better (at least our room did) and the toilet in room 315 needs some serious help (clogged every other flush even if you were simply just flushing the toilet) Hotel I’m guessing knew about the issue as when we went to go to front desk and opened our door someone had put a plunger outside the door for us already. We paid $148 for a night and it was not worth the price. I’ve stayed here before a few times and it was good. This trip not so much. I did let staff know about the toilet when leaving just in case and in hopes they fix it for the next guests or don’t allow anyone to book it until it’s fixed. Wasn’t sanitary and actually pretty gross to have to do it multiple times for a family in there.

The breakfast could use an upgrade. One hot tub was down and the pool room definitely needs some work. Our room definitely could have used a good cleaning. (We did not complain but probably should have said something). We stayed in room 315 and the toilet clogged every other flush. (Even with nothing in the toilet) When we went to go down to the front desk a plunger was outside our door with plastic wrapped on bottom of plunger) leaving us the impression they already knew about the toilet issue. I did alert the front desk regarding the issue just in case upon leaving. We have stayed here a few times and haven’t had a problem but this time wasn’t great as far as condition of room and hotel if I’m being honest. Staff has been great everytime!

My husband and 3 teen children stayed for 3 nights. It was an ok stay, but there were definite issues. The one positive thing is that the staff was always as helpful as they could be. The other things to know include: breakfast was ok but a big frustration was that there was never any caffeinated coffee. Each morning only the decaf container was set out. And, then the 3rd morning my college age daughter over heard the ladies in charge of breakfast saying that they took the decaf sign off and something about it tasted fine so nobody would know, leading her to think they were trying to trick people into thinking it was caffeinated. Also, we stayed in a suite with a sofa bed. We asked for pillows for the bed. They did give us 2, but had no pillow cases. The front desk was creative and gave me 2 sheets to wrap around them which was fine and a first and worked, but was weird. Another thing, we had 5 people staying there and requested enough towels so we each had one. We didn’t have room service come in and so hung our towels to dry. But, by the 3rd morning we needed some fresh towels. My husband went down to ask and was told they had none. He was told they were clean but not folded. The front desk did offer to bring some up, which they did when we were at breakfast after everyone had showered, sharing damp towels as best we could. Also, the pool area was ok, but my daughter said the hot tub definitely needed cleaning. Also, other guests were swimming in their underwear.

We have stayed here 2 other times before and were happy with the accommodations. This last trip though was not great- the hot tub was out of order and the wall next to it was cracked with mold all around it. The pool was not enjoyable as it was extremely cold. Our hotel room needed some fixing as the cabinet and draws were falling off, the bathroom sink took 10 mins to drain after just brushing teeth, and the toilet handle was barely hanging on. Room 318.
Will choose a different hotel next time.

I was told I was going to have a bathtub in the king suite and there wasn’t one.. the only reason why I paid that much for the room. In the room, half the lights did not work. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper. and there were sticky wet spots all over the carpet in the room. Also the stick to pull open the blinds broke off. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and the water from the shower made my ears itch.

Check in was smooth, but the elevator and hallway of floor 2 were very smelly, sort of a mixture of cigarettes, weed, and stale humans.
Thankfully the room was clean and odourless.

Pool area did not have towels, but we went later in the evening so it was not too surprising. One of the two hot tubs was out of order and roped off, the hot tub that was available was clean and HOT. Did not get in the pool, but it looked clean and there was a family happily playing in the water together.

Breakfast area was clean, selection was the usual basics like waffles, cheese omelette, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, yogurt and dry cereal.

I was disappointed by the breakfast as there were very few options for my dietary restrictions, so I did need to buy my own food at the grocery store.

The Minneapolis-St Paul area is, of course, under "Operation Metro Surge" right now, but this hotel seemed ICE-free, thankfully.

Room was not clean... on check-in we didn’t have any toilet paper, washcloths or cups in the room; there were handprints above toilet in bathroom, dirty splash behind vanity under mirror; crumbs on counter when we entered and floor not vacuumed. Couch we didn’t even want to sit on and under couch there was an empty box for a sex toy and spoons, tons of food crumbs like it hadn’t been pulled out to clean under in a long time . Pool area was not available hot tub closed for part of our weekend stay; elevator had the same spilled cereal and dirt in the corner the whole weekend. Check in worker was very friendly, and another worker was quick to bring us the missing supplies but will never stay here again nor recommend.

People jumping line at checkin. Overloaded a very nice counter man. No parking on site. Hotel offered parking for long stays but didn’t move vehicles to separate lot. At least 25 to 30% were snow covered . Many people illegally parked, some in fire lanes and others on the road entering the property.
We have stayed at this location for many years before flights from MPS. Never had this problem before. Have reservation in Feb that I will probably cancel. Will not recommend this property to friends again.

When we first checked in we were not provided any info-- no WiFi password, no info about breakfast, no directions to our room-- you get the point. The first room we were assigned didn't have a functioning heater. We got switched to another room pretty easily. For the rest of our stay, we didn't have any service-- we had to empty our own trash and get towels from the front desk. It was even our job to hunt down toilet paper.The location of the hotel was excellent for our reason for being in town, other than that, everything was at best Ok.

Check in was fast and simple. No directions after handing me my room key (easy enough to find the elevator and room etc, but typically the attendant will let you know about breakfast hours, etc.)
The room was disgusting though. The bed was made with probably clean sheets but all surfaces were dirty from the last guest. Rings from the glassware, greasy handprints on bedside tables/tv stand, water/toothpaste/soap left on the bathroom sink/surrounding counter. The floors had not been vacuumed. I didn't use the shower but it looked ok.

Everything about the hotel was a really good. Unfortunately, I couldn't give it 5 stars because it just had two minor flaws: 1) it needs an emergency backup attendant - I understand that sometimes the check-in attendant might be short handed but at least have someone be able to inform the guests that he/she is attending to an important matter and to have the guests come back at a certain time, 2) I don't know about the other rooms, but my Rm 218 had rusty grab handle bars in the bathroom, and I accidentally put a bath towel on it only to see that the rust had stained the towel.

Other than these two things, I thought that the hotel was worth the stay. I thought the breakfast was good for what the hotel provided. I'll consider staying again but hopefully, the hotel can remedy these suggestions.

Since we were attending a family wedding in Eagan, it was a bit difficult to get ready because our suite didn’t have a mirror and the lighting was not very bright. I called twice to ask if hot tub and pool were up and running and both people said yes. One hot tub was out of order and the other didn't have working jets. The light bulb in the mail. Entrance of the room was nearly burnt out. There must have been animals allowed in the room we were in, I think allergies.

Only one hot tub running sorta jets wouldn’t work and tub was dirty/ hot water in rooms were sub par They had to move us rooms and then get maintenance to fix the new room hot water
