I dint get the chance to use the kitchen but I’ve restroom did noticed the hair dryer don’t work at all and the room had its little touch it needed but the think that effected me the most was the smell was horrible smelled a lot like cigarettes. The staffing etc was great other wise of the smell and hair dryer no issues everything else was perfect for the prize

The whole thing was a fiasco to say the least I booked on line as we were attending an event and I prepaid online. When we got there around midnight after our event the staff was absolutely horrible and worked harder to try not to have us stay there than it would have been to simply check us in. Online it did not say anything about needing a credit card to reserve the hundred dollar deposit. It did say something about the cleaning deposit but since I didn’t have quite enough money left on my card following the event to cover the damaged deposit and she refused to take cash. When I asked where there was a nearest ATM to deposit two or a gas station that was open she simply said she had no idea what I was going to do because Walmart was closed now. I had to drive around for at least a half an hour as I don’t know the area to find a gas station that was open and loaded money on a card. When we got there, she first gave us the key to a wrong room that was locked and we tried barging out someone else then on top of that We had booked a kitchen suite so that we would have utensils and things that said online they were included in the stay because we had brought some snacks. I called down to ask where the utensils were at and she said that was going to be another $25-$30 when I mentioned the fact that online it said these things were included with the room. She simply said they were no longer under the same company as they were listed under and that stuff was no longer valid.

The maids knocked on the door (with do not disturb on the door handle) kept knocking and then after my husband said no thank you they proceeded to walk in. Stuff was stolen and the manger kicked us out the room for 3 hours claiming i had gotten a flyer saying they were doing pest control. Came back at first specified time and was then asked to wait an additional hour. Mind you we have a toddler, the two women who were at the front were rude, unapologetic and proceeded to gossip about us while waiting for the elevator

Was not impressed at all! Staff didn't go out of their way to accommodate you. Was pulling teeth to get bedding for the hide a bed. Strangers trying to get into our room at 3AM. The facility book them the room that we were already in. Was scared to open the door at that time of the night to who knows on the other side. Had to make our own bed for the next people to accommodate the room..doubt if the sheets are washed in between occupants. Had to take our own trash out before leaving. Housekeeping only cleans rooms once every 2 weeks!! Will never go back again!!

Wouldn’t recommend very run down

The room definitely could use some tlc as did the rest of the property. Shower wasn’t very clean nor was the rest of the bathroom. An old moldy bag from Burger King was found in the kitchen cabinet and the counter edge was peeling off. Paint chips everywhere in the room. Beds were hard as rocks and the pillows flat as pancakes. Unfortunately will not stay here again. On the upside the staff at the property was very kind and friendly.

This was the most filthy place we've ever viewed. We couldn't get in the back door as the card reader wasn't working. The carpet was soiled so bad it was flat and black. I wanted to wash my dog's feet! We then couldn't get in the room we were assigned. We called from the hall for another hotel as our neighboring room had a rotating door of people coming in and out and weird containers being brought into their room We were to wary of the area, filth and habitants to stay

For 120 a night it was not worth it. The place smelled bad. I was next to the trash room. I had flys and other bugs fly around the room constantly. It may have been due to being short staffed. I would pass the front desk up in the halls working in the rooms. The whole building needs some love.

If you want something cheap. This place will be it. Our room was pretty bad. Needs a whole new remodel. Re-paint is not enough. The bathroom needs remodeling. Old 15 year tv. So I know this room needs help. Other rooms might be remodeled but our room needed help. Pretty bad. Our room smelled and the hallway smelled. Odd smell. Not mold, but something terrible. Cannot put a finger on it.

No ice machine. You must use your freezer and make ice. Never seen this before. The fridge was normal big size. We had a kitchen room. The HVAC system was half working. At times, it worked. At times the fan did not work. All night the heat/ac was on/off. I had to adjust it about 4 times all night.

Over all the hotels in St. Paul, this has to be one of the bottom worst. Just outdated room. The price is the key. Breakfast?
Not really. They only have \"Continental breakfast\" - Danish and coffee.

My wife complained about everything. I guess the price justifies the shape of the hotel. Maybe 2/5 stars. I’m not going to post any bad pictures. The owners know the issues. FYI, the lamp looked dirty, dusty, oily, just old. Even a light lamp at the local Flea Market would have been cleaner. Oh, washer/dryer is $4/each. That's pretty expensive.

Lastly, when we left, I found a leftover shirt/underwear from someone else. Nasty. It was behind the recliner. Nasty. As you can see, the room was not fully clean.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to crash for a few hours after a flight that arrived too late to drive home. This fit the bill perfectly! The room was spacious, clean and in reasonably good condition. Beds were comfortable and it was just what we needed at a great price.

Area is okay. Hotel is kind of ran down with unpainted plaster on the walls, had at least 10 ladybugs in the window dead and alive. The window screen in my room was torn.
They say the lobby is locked during the night hours but wasent. The plastic corner wall protectors was falling off the wall. But it was a cheap hotel so i get what i paid for.

The floors looked dirty. The ones in front of the elevator on the main floor were especially dirty, including food and drops of blood. I was also locked out of my room and had to wait roughly 30 mins before I was able to get in contact with someone. The room itself was okay. The TV remote didn’t work well, and it didn’t help that the battery cover was broken so the batteries kept trying to fall out.

Kitchen sink had a drip that wouldn't stop. The carpet was moist and sticky. Our feets were constantly dirty from it. Cant forget the dog hair on the carpet too. Dogs barking in the middle of the night, which constantly woke us up. Our hall way smelled like weed the whole stay.

The front desk receptionist cut me off everytime I spoke and tried to ask a question. I had to repeat my question multiple times because she didn’t shut up long enough to hear the question to answer it properly. The first room assigned to me the air didn’t work. The 2nd room the key card wouldn’t work I made 3 trips to the front desk before she came up to room and open the door herself. Then while sleeping I was bitten multiple times in my sleep that woke me up. Needless to say it was one of the worst stays I’ve had in a long time.

The stay was pretty decent. Was a little upset when we found out they did a grab and go breakfast instead of a hot breakfast. Other than that there was a problem with the microwave buttons being worn out, some of the lights not working, drains not draining right and the water temp not getting hotter than maybe warm, it was a cheap place to sleep when at the mall, and I pretty much got what I paid for.

It turns out this is not a safe area... But the worst was my refrigerator didn't work and I didn't get offered another room. The curtains wouldn't close, and the toilet was eco-friendly, which meant it kept running at odd times... In the night. Stay at one of the two other Extended Stays in the area!!

The staff was always friendly and kind. If you are loooking for a clean environment, then this is not for you. Nothing else after my next comment will matter. They have ROACHES, and know that they do. I checked out immediately after seeing it and then them. They barely take out the trash or do any housekeeping. This is not fair to take peoples hard earned money and screw them with an infestion to their property just so the hotel can make money. The entire building should be shut down and i recently heard that most of the Extened Stay hotels have ROACHES. SO SAD for an already run-down property.

The front desk staff, a young gentleman who shared he'd only been there a week - initially told me he couldn't check me in because the system was doing an update. I had called earlier in the day to notify that I was going to be a very late arrival and was told the message would be passed on. The young guy then told me that he didn't see my reservation, then he told me that he found me under the no show list. However, he was amazing at swiftly correcting the issue and getting me checked in. I appreciated his professionalism and assistance.

Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen

I didn’t stay. I have never in my life checked into a hotel and been so completely disgusted I couldn’t stay. The lobby floor, entry floor hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped in quite some time. However I trusted it would get better. Getting off the elevator there was literally trash all over the hall, pieces of chips or crackers, wrappers from food, lots of crumbs, a cup - clearly the hall hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I kept going, hoping. The room was so bad I didn’t want to set my bag down. The tub and toilet were absolutely gross, the bed was made but not neatly like you expect, the night stand was sticky from a spill and had crumbs. With all of it this bad I had no confidence the sheets would be clean. I was horrified, cried, called my husband back home. He told me to leave, so thankful for him. I don’t have courage for such things and felt bad, the desk lady was kind and I didn’t want to offend her but I couldn’t stay there. Years ago I stayed there often, never again. I have seriously never seen anything like this in a hotel. Now I’m watching my credit card statement to see if I have to fight to get my money back, but even if I lost the money at least I felt safer and cleaner elsewhere. Wish I had taken pictures to post here.

This has to be one of the worst place i've stayed. When I reserved it online, there was nothing noted about unavailable ready rooms. When I arrived, the front desk guy said they do not have ready rooms. The only rooms they have available that fits the 3 of us are 1 uncleaned room and 2 other rooms that has something wrong with them. After trying to figure out what to do he finally gave me one of the room that was cleaned but had some minor issues in the room. We decided to stay anyways because it was already 1 midnight and needed to crash. When we got into the room, it looks clean and it as a nice size room but the beddings were not clean at all. We know because the pillow and bedsheet's got hairs all over it. Called the front desk to get new linens so we can put it on. Went downstairs to get the new linens, and they don't even have enough. There's 3 of us and we needed new linens for both queen beds, however all he was able to give us was 1 blanket, 1 fitted sheet, 3 pillow case, and 2 flat sheets! He says they don't have any and wont be available untill they are washed tomorrow! OMG what kind of hotels would be so poor here they don't even have enough linens or extra linens? No wonder they didn't even change those linens! I would not recommend this place to stay for the price that I had to pay, close to $200 per night.

Didn’t have the room I reserved. Put me in 2 different rooms same floor but at the different end of the motel. Was expecting a hotel but it was a motel. Toilets ran the whole time, my hair dryer didn’t work and didn’t replace it till the day before I checked out. My room was dirty leftover food in fridge. I will not recommend This place. The hotel is in a safe area and parking is free and abundant. Bedding was new and clean. Those are the positives. Reception staff was unwelcoming and dismissive. Cupboards in rooms were full of crumbs and leftover food from previous occupant. No ice machine in hotels -was told that there were ice cube trays in room fridge which was true, but they were empty. Breakfast consisted of a mini muffin or a granola type bar, coffee. Very disappointing considering the cost of the room I paid.

Tiolet didn't flush like it suppose to had to ask front desk to bring the olunger, phone didn't work even though it was plugged in, the hot water at night was cold. If I'm ever in the area again I probably wouldn't waste my time booking this hotel.
