The complementary breakfast was very good. The pool and hot tub area was nice. They could have had more employees for breakfast, food was slow in getting ready. Also should have information for surrounding area restaurants.
Chrissy
The hot tub was not very hot and the pool area was extremely hot. Breakfast was sub/par on quality. Some tiles loose in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and nice neighborhood, safe feeling. Older building but kept up decent. Would stay again.
KRISTINA
The toilet in the room had a broken - semi patched tank that leaked. Ice makers were out of order
Beth
It was a great place to stay! The room was very nice and it was quiet while sleeping. It was nice that the AC wasn’t loud like some can be. The breakfast was great and it was laid out in an organized way. I would definitely recommend staying there!
Scott

Property was fine. The room and lobby looked up to date and nice. Our room did have a hole on the wall from the door knob, the toilet kept running which was annoying. The breakfast did have hot items but was ok. It was super busy and they kept running out of stuff. All in all it was a clean comfortable stay but could use minor repairs in our room. We didn’t have time to check out the pool.

Our room was clean, but it had a damp smell every time we walked in. In the bathroom, there was a crack in the sink and toilet, but everything worked well. I did take pictures with time stamp just incase they said something. The water in the bathroom was nice and hot. The pool/ hot tub was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was alright. A few days, some of the items were cold, like the potatoes and eggs. The only complaint really is the food being a little cold, the smell in my room, and we stayed a week and never had our room turned over. I wish they had done a mid-week turnover. We had to keep going to the front desk to ask for towels and/or toilet paper.
James
The overall stay was wonderful. Within minutes of restaurants and a Dennys was right next door. The only thing that the light blocking curtains didn't shut all the way. Other than that I would stay agin and i recommend staying there to everyone. Oh, in house breakfast is nice also
Amber
This was a nice hotel for a quick trip. Only problem was we were told the pool wasnt working and then was told about closing time, it was open they just didn't take the sign down. My kids were pretty disappointed.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner (behind the toilet) and the knob plate in the shower looked very bad. The ceiling needed to be cleaned above the air conditioner and over the beds. But the floors and carpets were clean and the beds were fine. The staff was really great and gave us a nice quiet room on the 4th floor which we asked for. The breakfast was also very good. Parking was fine.
Angela
Pillows were incredibly flat which gave me migraines each morning, but otherwise it was ok.
Melissa
Clean and quiet, close to airport. Nice stay!
Richard
The elevator floor was very dirty with mud. The hot tub water was dirty and not clear.
Cori
Good location, friendly staff, good variety of breakfast options, room could use a deep clean.

Good breakfast. Lots of small problems in our room. No drain stopper for the tub. Shower curtain rod broken. Bathroom door hard to pull open and shut. Room smelled damp.

We are a family of four. I’ve booked two rooms. The first room the door would not close. My mom got an attention from a maintenance guy. The front clerk, saw it and immediately said “I’m not getting charge for the scratches.” I immediately told hi there are scratches already. He was able to provide a room next to mine.
I was disappointed already with the state of the rooms. The furnitures had scratches, wear and tear. It’s not like it’s new. The bathroom is small. When I used the pool, the towels are not picked up, it was everywhere. I even helped out picked up towels.
When you go to the front counter. There is no one there. It seems the staff are hiding inside an office. I am not sure but the hotel provides takes emergency housing from the community.
This is the worst Best Western I’ve stayed at.

Room was clean, good breakfast selection and maintenance of the breakfast area, quick check-in
Hannah
Rooms were clean. Desk desk was great and helpful. Parking lot is on the smaller side, but it's free and we still found a spot to park. Our room was super hot due to the air conditioning unit not working. I was hesitant asking to switch rooms, but I did and the guy working the desk was able to switch our room fast plus he wasn't bothered by switching it for us, which I appreciated. Pool was a nice temperature, it wasn't freezing cold.
bruce
Not enough staff when we checked; one clerk to check everyone in and answer the phone. He was great, but only one of him.
Dustin
Parking was easy. Pool and hot tub were out of service which was a bummer but not a deal breaker. The biggest downfalls were the shower not draining well and backing up immediately, as well as an air conditioning unit that did not perform well. With the A/C all the way down at 60 for 3 days, I don’t think the room got below 75-80. Property simply needs some updates and upgrades. Staff were great.
Paschian
My family Had 2nd floor room. Not enough towels. One stained towel. And a sticky floor near the bed side table. Fridge was not so cold for our drinks. The shower was clogged when showering. The pool was not very clean. Water was not clear at all dirty looking water. Had some paper and hair everywhere in the pool. Small pool and hot tub. Very humid in the pool area. Hard to breath in there. The hallways smelled horrible like trash. Beds were clean with clean lenin sets and comfy pillows. Thank goodness for that or I would not have stayed the 1 night I needed there. Staff was friendly and the Breakfast was decent. Stick to the waffles. Its what was best. Other items were kept full too. So the kitchen guys was doing great on keeping up with the food and coffee. But I would probably not return to this place.
Bryant
Nice breakfast and nice staff the room was mostly clean and parking gets full fast
Jazlynn
nice
Jose
Convenient but not so nice, no house keeping unless you insist.
Elysa Joy
Clean room, we didnt stsy for breakfast so i cant say anything about it. Smelled like weed in the hallways. Staff was helpful and kind.
Susan
Stayed one night. Room was clean. Mattress was nice with lots of pillows. It had all the usual toiletries. Iron and board, fridge. Micro and hair dryer. Very quiet on 4th floor. Staff were pleasant. I missed breakfast. Denny's is next door. 4 stars because the bathroom outlets were not working and I told the front desk when I left.
Richard R
Good breakfast selection. Quiet when in our room. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Property did not enforce their policies regarding children in the pool after 7 pm; we love children but would prefer later in the evening a more sedate hot pool environment.
Felo
Hallways had a weed smell one of the nights. Staff at night friendly and helpful. Morning staff was kinda rude that we checked out 20 mins late. Gym and weight room is very very weak just a couple dumbbells and a bench. Pool had a slight unpleasant smell but not horrible. For the price you get a good clean bed but nothing fancy.
Karla
Toilet wasn’t working…fridge also not working…had to move rooms. Man working front desk very friendly though.
Elizabeth
I would say just some maintenance work is needed.
Mark
It was a nice stay.
Barbara
The free parking and delicious breakfasts are a must when budgeting for a hotel stay. The staff was attentive and helpful. The rooms were comfortable.
Craig H
Great breakfast.
Lisa
I was refused late check-in after an emergent change of plans on my pre-paid room. EVEN AFTER having direct contact with the site manager, letting them know of my situation. When the desk clerk contacted the site manager, she lied on the phone. Hung up, then refused to take the clerks phone calls to resolve the issue. I was left without a room and money, hurrying to find another room before my show started.
I will be going directly to Corporate with this one as well.

The breakfast was good, the pool was fun.
Genna
Management was rude, hotel stunk, mystery stains everywhere, hot tub was filthy and I ended up getting a rash from it. Side door was propped open so anybody could enter the building. Had multiple encounters with creepy men and did not feel safe. Constantly saw police cars enter the parking lot as well. Avoid at all costs, not worth saving money.
Krystal
I enjoyed the breakfast. It included making your own waffles, yogurt, juices, cereal, muffins, bagels, eggs, and another meat.
Staff was nice. Parking can be a little tight but it’s free and has spots for EV. Plenty of handicap parking near the front door.
Room was clean and smelled nice. Housekeeping will come to your room but it will need to be requested. Not a big deal, just thought people would like to know that.
There is a Denny’s attached to the hotel. That Dennys is garbage and super dirty. Was given coffee in a dirty coffee mug that had what looked like was a tomato based sauce crusted near the top.
The beds are super hard (and much I know is subjective because everyone has a different comfort to in bed firmness). It was so hard I continued waking up with back pain and I don’t have back problems.

The pool was so disgusting. It’s as mucky, and there was hair all over in the water and it wasn’t mine or my kids. None of the ice vending machines worked except on the 1st floor. We had the noisiest neighbors and I tried calling the front desk 3 times and all it did was ring and ring, no one answered. Tried to call for extra towels and it just rang and rang. Finally went downstairs to front desk to get more. When I talked to front desk clerk about the Friday night noise from neighbors, all they said was that sometimes the phone isn’t on right so it won’t actually ring in their end and if the people next to us wanted to extend their stay, they would allow them too. Saturday night, power went out in the whole block. No one checked the elevators to see if anyone was stuck in them. 30 minutes after the lights went out, asked the front desk lady if she had heard anything and she was very, very rude to all customers who were in the lobby. She was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do. Once the lights came back on, she started yelling at everyone in the lobby to be quiet and respectful of her working. No one was being overly loud! We will NOT stay there ever again. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel and I travel a lot!
Melissa
Breakfast was ok, sausage gravy, over hard eggs, waffle bar, but was light on any healthier options. The room was clean and neat. Our big complaints were the sketchy, poorly lit, crowded parking areas and the thick pot-smoke in front of and inside the hotel lobby and elevator. Those two things together made the hotel seem less welcoming than I am sure the owners wanted it to be.
Kara
Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Ice machines were broke. Power went off but was turned back on about an hour later. All in all it was a nice place to stay.
Michelle

Clean establishment and friendly customer service

Propery was clean. Breakfast was good. Pool was freezing cold- my kids hardly wanted to swim. Ice machines were broken on multiple floors.
Richard
The breakfast is awesome.
Zachery
Only issue was bathtub drain was slow. Everything else was ok
jay
Room had a huge hole in the wall making the idea of a suite pointless. Breakfast was good. Pool was about the same temp as the lake was out side in northern Minnesota.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Not far from the Mall of America. Parking sucks but it’s free. Our 1st room door didn’t “hatch” but they quickly switched my room. I love that the pool is open until midnight for adults and 10 for children. Breakfast was delicious and hot. Definitely worth your money and made my experience even more enjoyable!
Richard
The location was convenient for my work, and I like the Denny's on the property campus.
Alecia
The room I stayed in the dresser drawer kept opening up. The cleanliness wasn’t the greatest. There were cobwebs everywhere in the corner ceilings also the bathroom door was peeling off the door. The tub and sinks drained really slow and clogged up alot. The beds weren’t very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The pool area was overcrowded and the hot tub had a bunch of kids invading it. While grown adults were trying to relax. Also the back to the remote was missing as well.
Paige
Breakfast was good, rooms were clean. Great price especially when we had to book at the last second.
Angelique
Staff was awesome but I didn’t understand lack of towels …… 3 days lack of towels
Taylor
Breakfast was great. The pool was pretty cold but the hot tub was nice
Heather
I would not recommend this hotel
Lisa
Just stayed one night. Rooms were fine, semi updated. Outside needs an update. Breakfast was good! Hot tub was cloudy and had stuff floating in it, very gross and cold. Was a bummer as we were looking forward to the hot tub
Paige
Front desk staff was unfriendly. Towels were out in the pool. The television did not work. The room was in great condition, tea and coffee were appreciated, and breakfast was good.
Brian
The breakfast was fresh but closed down early and there were a few people that loaded up on the breakfast (had about 10 plates stacked up) and cleared out what was left before it closed
Tessa
Staff was great and super sweet. Large breakfast selection of quality and snacks were good too. Pool and hot water tub nice and clean well maintained
Laurie
This was a decent hotel for the price. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast good, and it's very close to shopping in Edina/Bloomington. They also don't charge for parking which is nice. There is a Denny's Restaurant connected. I'm pretty fussy, but wanted a reasonable price. I'd definitely go back.
Valarie
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was plentiful. Would stay again.
Jessica
Very nice hotel. Didn’t have any issues just wish I could close the curtains so all the light wouldn’t be inside. Staff was nice and friendly.
Melissa Ann

All was good

We booked a room for two nights at this Best Western because we were told they had a WORKING hot tub. The first night’s stay it was ice cold and the entire pool room was flooded. The second and last night’s stay, the hot tub was operating, but was not even bathtub warm. We were NOT the only guests commenting on its temperature and unclear, murky water. Extremely disappointing and a refund of some kind would be appreciated!
Nick
Tv had no power cord to it.
Anna
The whole hotel smelled like marijuana.
Seems like the staff try to keep it organized and clean. I was surprised there was so many guests there.

We ended up booking two rooms since we arrived a day earlier than planned. Unfortunately, both showers backed up, and the bathrooms were extremely small. Overall, the rooms themselves felt very cramped.
The stairwells could definitely use more attention when it comes to cleaning. There was gum stuck above the light fixtures and what appeared to be dried fluid on the first-floor stairwell, which was unpleasant to see.
Breakfast was average for a typical hotel offering—nothing special, but adequate.
On a positive note, the hotel is very conveniently located and within close proximity to many popular sites, which made getting around easy and enjoyable.

Clean room, comfortable bedding, great heater (needed in Minnesota). Breakfast was adequate with selections. Staff were professional and courteous.
Brian
The staff was courteous, the room was clean. Free breakfast left a little to be desired, but that's not uncommon for a hotel breakfast. Watery scrambled eggs, mushy breakfast potato's. It could use a little improvement. Parking spots were hard to come by on the weekend. Hotel was all sold out I believe.
Veronica
It was clean.
Getahun
My room was clean
Jennifer
My room was nasty and not clean after I check in the room somebody dirty panties was left underneath bathroom sink and made me feel nasty staying there but nobody could check me into another room on the time I got back from my event never want to rent from there again
Kimberly
The room smelled like smoke and the bathroom floor needed a good scrub.
Jennifer
Heater was very loud when kicking on. Front desk could have been more friendly. But otherwise did the job for one night.
Salena
The room was clean. You should bring back the shuttle service.
Zaria
Service and room was perfect
Anastacia
The staff were friendly and helpful, very clean rooms, spacious pool and hot tub.
Patrick
It was a nice clean room at a good price. Ty

The bed was as hard as a rock, the towels felt like sandpaper, the bed linens lit up like the Fourth of July when they were moved because of all the static, and the “highly rated” breakfast was a complete joke. The eggs were dry and the sausage tasted awful, very fake. And don’t even get me started on the coffee! It tasted burnt! Worst I’ve had at a hotel. The woman at the checkout counter came out of the back looking at her phone and wasn’t the last bit friendly or cheerful. And the toilet in my room … it ran and ran and ran. Yes, the rooms were inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Never again, Best Western!!
