I called to say my ex boyfriend was being abusive and would like all hotel keys disabled they disabled it and then allowed him, Kamisha Johnson and 4 other girls come upstairs and attack me. When I asked if I could have the hotel footage the manager said that’s something the police would have to ask for and “she’s sorry but she can’t control my ex” the hotel staff watched it happen and didn’t call the police. Even the police said they were liable. Don’t ever stay at a hotel that doesn’t protect its guest and saftey.

It's a beautiful building but we definitely wouldn't stay there again. We've stayed in many different hotels around the country, some more expensive, some greatly less. We've found that the we get More perks at the lesser expensive places. This place charges awfully high prices for the breakfast, for example if you get toast, cereal and Danish it's $12, if you want to add a hot item it's $18 , if you want to add an omelette it's $23 and a beverage is $5 more!! They also offer Starbucks with Very Limited options.(No Cortado, no specialty drinks). We had issues with the room too. A handicap option was the furthest away from the elevator, the safety bars were loose and not sturdy metal, there was a soiled bandaid stuck to the carpet in the room, the sheets had a dirty piece of scotch tape on them (I didn't look to see If it covered a hole), the room was so cluttered with furniture that the door couldn't open wide and it was a trip hazard. Our view was another hotel 12 feet away. And there were 2 bottles of water in the room with $6 each price tags on them. Oh and the website shows a water bottle refill machine, but the only one I found was in the back corner of the weight room.

Beautiful hotel. Did not receive the room I reserved online. Walls are thin, in my room I could hear the people in lobby along with the music they play over the speakers in the lobby, which was kind of weird. Lots of cute sitting spots around for someone to have a private conversation. Great Starbucks attached to hotel with good breakfast. The restaurant/bar was decent, it did get very crowded and noisy but they have a great outdoor patio. The room was very night and comfortable.

The staff that helped me during my stay were quite unfriendly. The man at the front desk during check in seemed annoyed to have to help me and treated me like he was above me. I paid extra when purchasing the room for a food/beverage credit during my stay and the hotel refused to honor that. They did honor it after I made several communications with Expedia and trips to the perturbed man at the front desk. He gave me a “courtesy” coupon for 20% off my meal (even though I already had paid for it). So I saved less than half of what I spent for the perk. When he gave it to me he told me just how much he hated these third party booking sites (like Expedia). I didn’t appreciate being treated like a second hand guest or like I was looking for a handout when all I was asking for was what I paid for. Expedia has also decided not to honor or refund me for the credit that was sold to me.
I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because the staff in the morning were just as unfriendly and would not engage acknowledge me. I guess if you want good service here you had better make sure you show up in a business suit.

The suite was very spacious and clean. Bed was VERY comfortable. The balcony was rickety appearing and had two basic chairs. For the size of the outdoor space, this was disappointing. Not much of a view… mostly parking lot. Neighbors were loud - thin walls. Close to highway made convenient for getting around and there were a lot of shopping and dining options close by. Super fast Uber location. Staff were pleasant and professional. I would stay again.

The staff was all really nice and the check in/out was a breeze. The room was nice and clean, but it had a funky smell to and needed some maintenance. The bathroom had no working fan, a toilet that barely flushed, a ceiling light that was falling down, and a sideways soap dish. The room was well stocked, the beds were comfy, and the grounds and nearby trails were very nice.

I’ve stayed in a ton of hotels and this one really stood out. The staff was very friendly and helpful, check-in (and out) was a breeze, the hotel was beautiful with great amenities. I was there for a NYE party in the ballroom which was catered and just fantastic. My room was so quiet and comfortable with great pillows and updated amenities. Just really all around excellent!

The biggest problem we had was noise. Our room was on second floor and our windows faced into the atrium with noise echoing around the atrium it was very noisy

Turned the AC on to try and get some white noise but it was terribly noisy- measured it at 67db from the bed. So we ended up tired from poor sleep.

We will find out options in the future.

Front desk folks were amazing when checking us in. We did have to call down to guest services because the room they placed us in was incorrect. They then brought our new keys up to us and asked if they could help us move to our new room. Our new room was amazing with a private patio!!! The only “downside” is that when we walked in the room it was set to 76 and we were roasting alive. Haha.

Beautiful hotel albeit a little outdated in rooms. Lobby areas are great, good little pub with a nice selection of tasty food. Large room, felt it was a good value. Only real complaint was the pool was chilly and my kids couldn’t enjoy it long.

I enjoy going on staycations. I recently learned that it was the birthday of a woman I have been dating. I had driven by this hotel on a few occasions, and really wanted to check it out. So, I got the room to celebrate her special day, and I was amazed by how spacious and wonderful the room was, and the breakfast in the room options were fantastic! And the renovations to bring Kip's Irish Pub RIGHT to the hotel room was phenomenal!

Hotel was beautiful, clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable and loved having a comfy chair in the room. Would have been a perfect stay had it not been for the extremely loud air conditioner unit that kept waking us out of a deep sleep every time it turned on. Made for a restless night, unfortunately. The hotel was nice, but the floors of the room were dirty. I got a queen suite and there were hair balls on the bathroom floor and dried contact lenses on the carpet. It was obvious the floor hadn't been cleaned in awhile.

Not good for business travelers

We choose this hotel for our business trip, reviews, name brand and location were good. We checked in late after midnight, after traveling all day and were given a room in the back. Our neighbors came around 3am and started banging doors, the sound traveling from across the hallway so we could hear their loud conversations.
In the morning, baby crying next door, hotel stuff banging on doors at 9am.
Bathroom towels were not all clean…
Room refrigerator was making crazy loud noises.
I hoped to find a new, nicer place to stay and pay a little extra for comfort, but this is not it.

My booking included food and beverage credit through hotels.com. Marriott front desk said that I do not get the food and beverage credit. I called hotels.com and they said I do, and they called the property, and they would have food and beverage credits waiting at the front desk. I go down to the front desk and had to listen to the gal complain how they had to tell hotels.com that this isn't included in my stay, but they would give me $10.00 which is nothing compared to what I was supposed to get. As a customer, I was stuck in-between the Marriott and hotels.com politics.

The TV reception was awful! My TV either skipped/fast forwarded through some of the program, or just lost signal altogether. Room was clean and inviting. The door for the bathroom and closet was a little inconvenient because I couldn’t go back and forth between both places at the same time when I needed to. Staff was friendly. No continental breakfast?!?! Not a good plan. Pool had too much chlorine.

The hotel was great and the service was excellent. There was an alarm in the next vacant room that went off, and I called the front desk. They came up immediately and turned it off. There was also a loud neighbor, and the customer service came up to tell them they had a noise complaint. The room was comfortable. The only complaint is that there was not a closet or fridge in the room.

Don't stay on Marriott Island. The hotel is surrounded by freeways and not near anything. There is a Starbucks and an extremely generic Irish pub on site but hardly anything else.

I like the friendly staff and that a Starbucks was on site. I got confused twice since two hotels are connected together. The room we stayed in 332 had some stains on the couch, the coffee tabe was damaged, the mini frig made a noise the whole time there and the bathroom sink water stopper was broken.

When checking in at night there were unaware that they didn’t charge for service animals and the guy eventually told me well you can ask someone in the morning and maybe they will give you the fee back. The other women helping him wasn’t nice at all they overly explained why I had to pay the fee. In the end it was refunded

We like the location (close to family). Greatly appreciated the walk in shower (pleasing due to limited mobility) and the fact that the room had an armchair. There come in handy sometimes. Nice coffee service in room and the Starbucks available was handy. All of the USB outlets were great. We also appreciate that we could request NO cleaning. We don’t like anyone in the room. We will be back, I’m sure!
