Beds were really uncomfortable.
We booked for 2 queen and looked like 2 full. Bed will sink in the middle when laid down.

3 day stay - toilet broken first day - not repaired while we were there. We had to take the lid off and manually pull up the stopper to flush it. Air conditioning - minimal. Rooms are very dark and dingy. We used to stay here quite a bit, now it is dingy and needs to be redone. No counter in the bathroom to set anything on. sink had fallen off the wall at some point and looked like a 5-year old tried to repair it. Won't be back if we can help it. TV remote worked -- sometimes.
Mathew
The elevators were outstanding--quiet, smooth, and extremely quick.

I Was unaware the rooms didn’t have AC, pretty sure the Expedia description notes AC in every room, otherwise wouldn’t have stayed there in the summer. Room got to be pretty warm and had to buy a fan.
Timothy
Its an older building.
Room smells a bit from old carpets and AC/vent.
Sheets and towels were clean and ample.

We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree Hotel in St. Louis Park. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant place to stay.
Jennifer
Friendly check-in and nice rooms!!
John

The Doubletree was an excellent choice for my trip to Minnesota. The hotel was clean and well taken care of by staff. Everyone was also very helpful and friendly. It was easy to find the hotel and there were places close by to eat.The price was also reasonable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.

We had a fantastic time at the DoubleTree Hotel—it felt like home, and the staff were amazing.

Well the place looked pretty classy inside and out. My room looked clean well kept. I thought breakfast should be free as this is my first time staying in a Doubletree hotel or any hotel for that matter that didn't have free breakfast. This would be the final comment, but the worst part was the room had bed bugs, but it looked clean and was comfortable. The refrigerator in the room was cool but not cold. I know things happen and I understand for the most part. I would stay at this hotel again.
Nancy
Friendly check in staff, pool was so nice! Love the salt water pool..

Front desk staff was attentive and helpful. Nice pool area. Comfortable, clean room.

Great hotel, free parking. The location was perfect for us. They actually had daily housekeeping which I thought was a thing of the past. I will stay there again when headed to the twin cities.

Needs an update.. must be the 80s

Parking, location, and staff were good.
Our room was filthy. Vent in the bathroom and ice machine on 10 and 11 broken. Lobby nice but our room was a dump.

The property was clean, the king bed was very comfortable and the elevators worked well. The bathroom could be bigger and it only had a single sink instead of a double. The shower was very good and they supplied body wash, shampoo and hair conditioner.
Donna
We had such a great stay. Great location, and close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was excellent will be back.
Janis
Rooms were clean and check in/out was a breeze
Katie
Pool area clean and well maintained. Our bathroom must have gotten flooded at one time as the tile under counter was not adhered and leaning forward. Otherwise no complaints.
Rick
It would be helpful and desired if there was complimentary coffee served in the central area of the hotel. Also, adding a continental breakfast as in other Hilton properties would be an improvement.
Christopher
parking was great restaurant was also good .. Morning buffet could be better
Charles

Ethan at the front desk set up a great experience for my stay with his excellent customer service and great attitude. He made sure I was taken care of and answered all my questions. Cleaning staff is on top of everything and I have to say that I did not find anything dirty. Very clean! Thank you for everything and also for the cookie and fruit.

Room didn’t have real shelves or counter space in the restroom and the water pressure on the waaaay light side. The staff had a laundry room CONNECTED to our room and were EXTREMELY loud with music, television and loud bangs against the wall. I would suggest guests not ever stay in a connected room with a staff room. Way too loud and not relaxing.

Always a pleasant stay.

The facility was comfortable and staff pleasant, kind, and helpful. The hotel had a near fancy feel to it, with the lovely smell of the pool area welcoming one upon arrival (I genuinely loved the plants and pool area). Unfortunately, the pool was too cold for even the kids to enjoy. The hot tub was fairly warm and comfortable but could have been hotter . Was more like a bathtub feel than hot tub. Never needed to get out or cool off. Comfortable but just not quite warm enough to feel therapeutic for long. Restaurant and bar was good. Service was wonderful and prices fair

I GENUINELY appreciate the staff. Overall. They are good overall. 👍 thank you to a good group of people from house keeping to desk . During a difficult season of my life they been good to cross paths with. Very quiet and peaceful. Desk folks been good at their navigation of things

Very kind desk staff.!!!$$$$♡♡♡ Cant stand that they have standard check out 11 am for this type of $. And the cleaning staff always waking people up at 8 am 9 am 😢 😭 😿 😢
Jamie
Needs some updating especially in the bathroom and I would recommend duvet covers. That being said staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. A little over priced for the quality.
John
Pool needed to be warmer. It was very cold and there was algae in the spa.
Kirsten
It was a lovely stay. Everything was perfect and staff was lovely.

Whenever I need to book a hotel, I make sure that I can stay here if possible.
This is a hidden gem.
They’re simple but that’s what I want..
the restaurant Dover, is fantastic! Super underrated. The food is delicious! The drinks are great too.
The staff that I have encountered have always been kind and respectful. They’re genuinely nice and not fake.
They have a smaller pool but it’s nice, it’s salt water.
The hot tub is also great because it’s right there. Not across the whole building.
It’s always quiet too. It’s centrally located to major highways and lots to do with in walking distance.
The beds are comfortable and rooms come with refrigerator and microwave. Huge TVs and some have balconies. You don’t smell a bunch of chemicals in the halls either. I hate that.
It’s just a nice place to stay, all around.

Peaceful quiet great food (a bit expensive but still amazing) great room and amazing view
The fact that we got a room on 15th floor
That was also the reason we stood an extra night
The front desk on point
Employees always respectful and nice

The room was clean and spacious. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Can't really think of anything wrong here. It's a good location, close to shopping and restaurants and only about 20-25 minutes from the airport.

people were friendly

Clean comfortable room. Bathtub faucet was a bit outdated and finicky to adjust.
Michelle
I’ve never been to a hotel that did have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby
Room is run down.

All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
The room was a bit dated. The bathroom trim was very beat up. The pitcher above the hot tub was filthy. Overall cleanliness was good. Hot tub drain was broken. Could use a good update.

I have stayed at the Double Tree for 30 years. The mattresses have become uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The ice maker on whatever floor I’ve stayed on never work. The coffee maker in the lobby never works. I did
Not get room service one day and was told I had my do
Not disturb sign on my door which was not true. Had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service were lousy. The parking lot needed to be better cleared of ice as it was treacherous.

Rebecca
Great staff, clean room with a beautiful skyline view of Minneapolis!
Matthew
Took over a half hour to check in, room was on the top floor with no temperature control other than “open the window” which didn’t help.
Jeffrey
Check in smooth and clerk was delightful. Super clean, well run. We stay here every time we come to town
Lisa
The staff was professional and hilarious. The entire facility was well kept and very clean. We will absolutely be returning!
Sherri
Staff was very friendly as always, and the commons area is always kept nice. This time I was put on the executive floor and I was a bit disappointed with the room. I’ve stayed at this location numerous times through the years and this was the first time I was on an executive floor and the room seemed a bit more outdated than other rooms I have stayed in at this location.
Aaden
Room was falling apart sheets falling off and it felt very old. Bare minimums. Kind of gross overall. Breakfast was not included it was $21 which we did not purchase. The lady working the front desk when we checked could hardly speak english. Never staying there again much better options in the area.
Lynnette
Clean, quiet and quality.
Taylor
The staff was so sweet an understanding and super helpful, I had an issue on my end upon arrival. But the staff was super understanding and patient with me, which I deeply appreciated.

The staff was courteous. The cleanliness of the room was ok. We did find an undergarment under the bed when we arrived. The bathroom was clean but very worn.

We were not told when checking in that the heat was not turned on in the rooms just the hallways! It was chilly outside! Check in Thursday, Friday night room was cold, they brought up a space heater! Saturday I requested maintenance look at it. Saturday night at 10pm was really cold in room, maintenance had not checked it out, so one came at that time. Unit was broke. We needed to move rooms at 1030pm. I requested a room comp! That was taken care of at check out Tuesday! Not sure we will return!
Marissa
No breakfast included but the market is good, staff was amazing and gave us free cookies at check in

The bathroom sink had a lot of plaster, it looked like was going to fall off the wall. Walls were scuffed in need of painting..I payed 200.00 dollars per night in the executive room. My expectation were much higher.
Juan Jose Roberto
It is an older property, but good all around service. St Louis Park is modernizing. Staff cleaned room without needing a request. Friendly professional staff
Kay
Noise from an adjoing room, not of our party, was evident. I don't recommend those rooms.
Tammy L
Property was very well maintained. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the restaurant staff were extremely attentive and friendly
Jarrod
Parking was great. Outlet didn’t work on the wall for the desk and lamp.
Joseph
Fantastic location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Plus you get a cookie when you check in which was one of the best cookies I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend.

Nice Place to Stay
I really enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree. It is a vibrant neighborhood with plenty to do and good restaurants. The person who checked me in was very friendly, efficient and professional. Cookie was yummy. The room was spotless and smelled fresh. Linens were bright white, soft and warm. Beautiful elevators and hallways. My only complaint is that there were obvious signs of wear and tear in the room that could be easily remedied. Such as scratches on the wood armoire, sink cabinet and tables, a furniture marker would work great. Missing caulk/cracked tile behind the toilet, yellowing on ceiling and bath door. A hole next to the sprinkler head. Staying at a doubletree I would never expect to see these things. But, overall my stay was great and comfortable, and I would stay again.

Not worth it for stays over two nights. I spent a long work trip here (ten nights) and I wish I would have looked closer at what the rooms actually offer. I would have gone elsewhere for a stay as long as mine. No microwave, barely any counter space in the bathroom, no on site laundry for guests, AC was terrible, extremely minimal grab and go food offerings. The attached restaurant has only a small menu with overpriced items. The free parking is nice and the staff was kind, but I won't be staying here again.
Vanessa
The room was clean and the staff were very nice and friendly. Great hospitality!!
