The room was clean. Hotel is newer and modern. The remote in my room didn't work. I called the front desk and they gave me a new one.

I'd recommend it if you need to stay in the area.

Positives: comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine. Plenty of choices. WiFi worked well for work and streaming.
Negatives: Strong hospital smell in room and corridors from cleaning chemicals which was very unpleasant. Towels were paper thin. Fresh coffee grinding was very slow (one cup at a time) leading to lines waiting for a simple cup of coffee. Front desk staff we met were mixed. Some pleasant, others disinterested. Couch in our room was very dated, uncomfortable, and had a sizable rip in one of the cushions.

Overall - we won’t be back.

Breakfast was very good.
There was no guide in the room which told the guest about certain amenities. I had to call the main desk to find out whether breakfast was included, and what the hours were... Finding channels on the tv was by trial and error, silce there was no channel listing..

We’ve stayed here many times over the years snd always been satisfied, The room was nice but the people next door were very loud. They had small children who were very loud. I understand that but they were constantly slamming the door over 20 plus times. It was 10 at night. The front desk lady was very nice and called them and went and talked to them. It didn’t help. We finally left and went to a different hotel. We lost out money for that night. We’re over 79 with health problems so looking for another hotel at 10 wasn’t good. Once again the front desk person felt bad and did all she could.

A comfortable clean place to stay

It was an excellent stay. I was able to have my dog with me for a minimal extra cost. The beds were very soft and comfortable as was the bedding and pillows. The hotel was clean and the staff were mostly friendly. The pool was smaller than the pictures show you but it was clean and well kept. Breakfast was the usual pre-cooked fare. But you could always go to Perkins next door for a good breakfast. Overall an excellent experience. I will use them the next time I'm in town.

We didn’t end up staying here because our reservation was cancelled when the hotel couldn’t reach me by phone, while my family and I were mid-air on a delayed flight. I attempted to resolve the issue through the online chat, but the virtual agent was unable to help. No one from Expedia followed up or contacted me to fix the situation. Thankfully, another hotel was able to accommodate us for the night.

This hotel is okay but the worst Holiday Inn Express we’ve stayed out and was not worth the price. The rooms are super small and the beds are right next to the door. I heard everyone’s door clicking down the whole hall. If this is the best location for you, it’s an okay hotel. But we won’t be choosing this one again.

Decent Stay

Since our flight arrived at 1100am, we asked for an early check in that was declined. The agent said he’d call if we could check in early but never did & we checked in at 3p. Room was clean, carpets in hallway were worn, countertops on the furniture were dusty. Proximity to the wedding venue & Mall of America was 20minutes & in convenient location.

The property was very clean. The manager was very polite, respectful, and professional. The building and rooms were very fresh and clean. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The food was fresh and included a nice variety of foods. The breakfast area and dining area were clean and well kept. It was conveniently located by a highway and freeway. The price was reasonable. The only issue would be the additional $50 incidentals fee which could possibly cause an issue for someone on a tight budget since the charge is assessed right away and then refunded.

Interrupted Employee

Isiah was such a friendly and kind person, whom we met when we checked in on Friday the 14th. Then the confusion with our room and the young lady working the front desk, who when we entered wasn’t seen, we had to return as we were locked out of our room and she was hiding in the office so we waited, she wasn’t as kind. It was as if we interrupted her. She abruptly returned to the office before we even left the desk. Really felt like we burdened her.
