5/5 Stars – Perfect Choice for Big Families!

An Exceptional Stay for Families Needing SpaceFinding a hotel room that comfortably accommodates a family of five can be a major challenge, but the Staybridge Suites in Maple Grove nailed it. The rooms here are incredibly spacious and easily provided enough breathing room for myself, my wife, and our three kids. We never felt cramped, which made our vacation so much more relaxing.

What Makes It Great for Travelers:Excellent Layout: The suite design gave us the perfect balance of common space to hang out together and enough privacy to unwind at night.Great Location: Situated in a fantastic, convenient area of Maple Grove with easy access to local dining, shopping, and family-friendly activities.

Top-Tier Amenities: The fully equipped kitchen in the suite is a lifesaver for families traveling with children, making quick breakfasts and snack times effortless. If you are traveling with a larger family or just appreciate having plenty of square footage to stretch out, I cannot recommend this property enough. We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip to the area!

In theory, this was a great spot. The pictures looked lovely, the amenities were generous, and it was in a good location. The first experience walking up to the entrance where people smoking right outside the front door, and the smell of smoke as we were getting checked in as well as throughout the hotel made a terrible first impression and followed throughout our entire visit. It felt like it was an old hotel with a facelift and even though it had very nice looking updates, it’s still felt outdated. The bathroom was also not cleaned as pristine as to my liking. I never really felt comfortable and left disappointed.

I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others. The guest staff were cheerful and helpful. The room was very nice. There were a lot of families staying at the hotel and I could understand why as there were lots of stuff to do. The pool area was very nice. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub. The courtyard was very relaxing. Several kids were taking advantage of the basketball court.
Our room was very nice. I like the fact that there was a door to close off the sleeping area from the rest of the room. The kitchenette was stocked with everything you would need to cook in the room. Full size fridge with ice maker.
Fresh fruit on the breakfast bar in the morning along with the normal breakfast items.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The hotel is beautiful, conveniently located, and easy to get to most places from. There was plenty of parking, which made things very easy, and the common areas and property overall were very well maintained.

We stayed on the third floor and the room itself was great. The only downside was the noise. It seemed like we could hear every door opening and closing, along with quite a bit of noise from the neighboring rooms. The walls or doors may not be very soundproof, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind.

There were also a couple of small maintenance issues in the room. In the bathroom, there was a loose floor tile that honestly made me nervous because it felt unstable. Additionally, the soap dispensers did not work properly, which I mean is a minor thing.

Since it was a short stay, we didn’t feel these issues were serious enough to bother the limited weekend staff over, especially because they were relatively small concerns during a holiday. We did mention them at checkout so the hotel could look into them for future guests.

Overall, we still had a very pleasant stay and appreciated how clean, beautiful, and well-kept the property was.

Stayed 6 nights arriving on a Monday for check in. The weekday breakfast included a variety of gluten free and dairy free options. I was very impressed with the choices available for me. I was disappointed when Saturday/ Sunday arrived and the breakfast options were all gluten AND dairy based. I understand differences in weekend guests but the area where the hard boiled eggs, and fresh fruit had been available all week was not in use on the weekend.

The hotel was very quiet throughout the week even with the influx of travel sports families on the weekend. The hot tub was spacious and relaxing.

Overall, I would recommend with the advice that breakfast on the weekend is not allergy friendly.

We had a great visit! We were so happy with the room and having a kitchen so we could make our own coffee in our room. We had zero complaints about this hotel’

There was no one at the front desk when I came to check in. I waited about 10 minutes for someone to finally show up. Then the keys he gave me didn't work so we had to walk around the building in frigid weather (4 degrees). Of the replacement keys he gave me only one worked. There were no towels in the pool area. When I went to the front desk to request some, he said he would bring some. It took about 20-30 minutes for him to bring some.
The room was comfortable and the stay was relatively pleasant despite the initial hiccups.

The room was clean and the staff polite, but not exceptionally welcoming.
We booked a two night stay, and left the first morning to take care of business. Upon arrival back in early evening of that night, our keys did not work. Back down to the front desk, where we were told a maid had been in our room and told the desk attendant we had checked out and left all our things. He didn’t look happy with us. When I asked him to recheck our reservation he agreed we were indeed scheduled for a two night stay. No apology, just rekeyed our room.
The next morning there was a knock on our door. After checking the peephole and seeing a housekeeper, I unlocked and opened the door. She was gone. Where she could have gone in that short time, I have no idea. She did not answer when I called to her. The two incidents were disconcerting, and although the room was comfortable, happy hour was relaxing, I’m not sure we will return.

I selected this hotel as it had EV chargers. I needed the nonTesla charger. I tried after my meeting to connect. Tried again after my business dinner. No luck either time. Finally, I went to the front desk. The breaker was off for only that charger. UGH. What a lot of aggravation and stress worrying before that I wouldn't get fully charged overnight to get home.

I travel a lot for business and leisure, and this was by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. My room, the common areas, and the pool and hot tub were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The evening receptions were thoughtfully planned. Staff was always available if I needed anything at all.

The refrigerator did not work properly. I addressed it with the front desk, but nothing ever came of it. Premade meals were tossed because the refrigerator couldnt hold temp. It was disappointing as this was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel for my four day stay. This is also the reason I will have to book a different hotel for my next 7 day trip in October.

We had a one bedroom suite which had two beds. A little while after we \"moved in\", we found that the toilet was not working properly. Management quickly came to fix it only to find out a plumber was needed. Since there was not another one bedroom suite, they found two rooms next door to each other & we were quickly moved to those.

Great place, staff was very helpful, great room and amenities. Only reason I could not give it 5 stars is the daily service. Staid a week and first few days were great, after I never received any coffee (had to go to desk each day and ask for it, and the last couple of days, they picked up the trash but didn't make the bed or change the towels. Small issues but paid good money and was the only thing to not score 5 stars but will admit I would stay their again.

Hotel is very clean and updated. The room layout is very conducive to a long-term stay. The biggest complaint we had was the smell in the room. It hits you as soon as you walk in. We called the front desk to ask if there is an air freshener we could unplug, but were informed it is the smell of their cleaning products. We could have asked that they not use it before checking in - but we had no idea. Thankfully it was not as strong in the bedroom, so we slept fine. Just recommend that they discontinue use of that product! It is very strong!

Great location in Maple Grove. Excellent value - hotel has full compliment of amenities at a very reasonable price. Staff is attentive and very nice - typical Minnesotans.
(Side note - the mattress is noticeably more firm than most hotels (my wife and I didn't care for the pillows either).. but if you like a firm mattress and overstuffed pillows, this is the place for you)

Meh

The room had slight inconveniences such as loose toilet seat, shampoo/soap dispenser in shower was broken, trash cans were tiny and need to be upsized along with placing a recycling bin in room. The guide on the tv was not interactive. You had to turn the tv off & on to get to the guide, and then had to remember the channel numbers to punch in on the remote.
