First for the negative. Had a nice view of the pool, room 208, but was obscured by filthy windows. Most of the dirt and grime on the outside. Since its probably tough to reach from the pool level up I can see how it would be difficult to maintain but you still need to clean at least monthly. Had a few rips in the lampshade by the bed, the outside blanket on the bed had a couple small holes in them and the door hinges in the bathroom are all starting to rust and needs to be addressed. In addition when I walked into the room initially found the door was open and the bed wasn't completely made. Assuming the attendant was called away and forgot to come back to finish. Finally difference between the daytime desk person and night time was really stark. John, my later day clerk was fantastic. Addressed my issues when brought to his attention. Did it with care and professionalism . Also helped me out with a purchase at their store. For the daytime there was a lady who really didn't have any immediacy when I told her my room eventually would need a stopper for the bathroom tub which is missing. Almost like she blew it off. For positive, it was John's service, breakfast choices were varied and good plus I liked both the fitness center options as well as the pool. Overall if more attention is made for upkeep and cleaning this would be even a more desired stop for travelers. Nice location with numerous restaurants within walking distance.

The towels in the bathroom were very worn and frayed. Some even had holes in them. The only curtains on the window were blackout drapes. Since we were on a ground floor we could not have any light from the window except by having the drapes open which then allowed for anyone to look easily into the room. The electrical lighting was very poor, nothing but a few lamps which were inadequate. Also thought the complimentary breakfast was poor. The donuts were stale and the other things served were not very good.

It was quiet. I didn’t like the breakfast m, my bagel was as hard as a rock and the donetts were stale.

I didn’t like the fact that my laundry was locked up after some other guest dominated the laundry for over 2 hours.

My toilet bowl was left uncleaned and my towel had a big hole in it. The sheets and pillow cases smelled stale.

When we checked on, the desk clerk said the rate was $40 more than my written reservation. When I said, “No, that’s not the rate I have in the confirmation,” she erupted and said, “That’s the rate I have in the system and I cannot change it.” Shocked, I said, “I have a reservation.” She replied, “That was with Expedia. I have to follow our system.” Shocked, I said, “But they are your agent where you advertise, I think you need to honor the rate quoted.” She erupted even louder and said, “I said I can’t change it and by the way, this transaction is being recorded.” While I was angry at the mixup, I was more upset with her attitude, but still did not lose my patience. We had just come off of a 15 hour road trip to be greeted with such rudeness and unprofessionalism. This person should be fired if she can’t remember she’s in a service business.

I want a refund of the $40 a night for the four nights I stayed that I was overcharged verses my reservation.

Very helpful getting my room ready early for check in. But hotel doesn’t feel super clean, and it’s showing its age.

Breakfast was good - better than many places. I do, however, prefer small individual milk cartons rather than gallon jugs that everyone touches to remove the cap.

Overall, this hotel is ok.

It was a decent room. However, as I was laying down, I noticed a small fly landing next to me on my pillow. That part disgusted me and made me wonder where it came from. After that, I started smelling the blanket and parts of it smelled musty and parts smelled fine. It just leads me to wonder why? It made me wonder if the sheets were really cleaned or did they re-use some of the stuff?

Walls are extremely thin and parties happening well after midnight and front desk did nothing.
Hotel room was in bad shape. Drapes ripped, tub dirty, holes in sheets.went to breakfast at 8 and came back to 3 maids in room making bed.
Breakfast was horrible. Eggs salty ,no silverware, things not filled at 8am and front desk person who was supposed to fill was busy petting a dog and than never washed hands before she started restocking.
Manager was rude and said if we booked with Expedia than deal with them.about all the charges off and on our card. (Had nothing to do with Expedia ,the desk clerk did it. )when I ask for detailed billing we got attitude. Stay elsewhere!!!!

Seemed like that was no big deal with assigning us another room. A lot of people hanging around. Pool area was dirty, no towels. Questionable crowd hanging out in there so we decided not to use it even tho that was the primary reason for selecting that hotel in that area. There was a table & chairs in the room to dine but the cushions on the seats were so dirty. The area with the bed was better and clean but to be able to relax there was out of the question. The pool looked dirty and needs a resurfacing. No towels were provided poolside. The staff was not professional in the way they were dressed or in the way they address the clientele. The lady who checked us in was sitting and slumped over the counter talking to another staff personal when we arrived, she had a pack of cigarettes sitting on the counter next to her.

My issue was the knob on the closet door was broken, and the end table next to the bed was tarnish, the curtains looked unattached from the top and the heater plate that covers the digital panel was broke. Maintenance did fix the knob and switched the table. I put on the form there was two people staying in the room, house cleaning was stingy with the towels. I need 2-3 face towels a day. One to wash up, one for my face and one for sweating. The last day they gave me one big towel. I use one for my pillow and one to dry off. I get it people still the towels but wow thats not me.

Stayed here overnight to be sure I could get my wife to work in the morning after a big storm was expected -- was sure at home would be snowed in.
Very first impression was that I was ignored by front desk staff who was busy chatting someone up while I stood there at the desk looking directly at them. They finally decided to move (not end) the conversation to the desk, where they continued to talk to someone else while checking me in.
Property was clean and in good condition. Room was spartan but had everything needed. No complaints.
In the morning, found they consider plowing the parking lot to be optional. The Aldi's next door was plowed three times overnight. Here, zero. Got stuck in the lot and had to shovel out myself. After I got my wife to work, came back to work out a bit and relax a bit before I checked out. By 9:30 am lot still had not been plowed, sidewalks not shoveled -- VERY dangerous as there was no way to tell were curbs were. Lot was very slick. Strikes two and three.
Had to wait again to get attention from someone to check out and get a receipt. I know times are tough, but there are minimums.
I actually liked the property itself. The support is where the issues are.

The hotel is very outdated and dirty. I wish I could add pictures. We stayed in a “suite” and the 4 dining chairs had horrible ugly stains all over the upholstered chairs. I actually wiped down the wall in the bathroom that was covered with stains and wiped the baseboard that was filthy. Washcloth was black after using it on those stains. There is a big rust spot on the floor under the toilet that is there permanently but my guess is a little bleach would remove it. We were so disappointed in this hotel and only stayed there because it was the perfect location. A friend told us she had relatives check into this hotel and check right back out the same day. Very much in need of a remodel, new furniture and deep cleaning.

The hotel checked someone else (no relation to me) into our room, under our reservation with all my contact information and possibly my credit card information. They even showed me their paperwork showing all my information with a stranger’s signature. I requested a room anyway as it was very late at night. The room they gave us had stains all over the bed. Requested a new room and it was not very good either. It had ripped curtains and the toilet made a terrible noise every time it flushed. We reluctantly stayed as we were exhausted after traveling from CA to MN. We checked out the next day (1/16 - two days early) due to all the issues and not one of them could help me in confirming I wasn’t or wouldn’t be charged for the stranger in our room/reservation, in getting a refund or an explanation of anything. I spoke to a total of 5 employees and I even returned back to the hotel twice all while attending a family funeral and still never got any help. Very dissatisfied and would like a complete refund.

The parking was tight. I had to ask the check-in guy where our room was located and which door to use, which is usually offered when I'm handed my keys. A quarter of the lights, in the halls, were hanging oddly from the walls and dimmed our out. The wall paper was peeling in the bathroom. I lived the hard mattress and slept wonderfully, but my fiancé did not sleep well at all. The TV was awesome! A guide and showtime/ max made our evening great! Jetted tub was tiny and in the bathroom and, while the bathroom was huge, fecal smells lingered forever!! Of you're on a budget, this place is great!
