Great location. Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean. Will return for sure.
Amy
Nice decor. Friendly staff. Elevator was temporarily not working, but no issues there.
Mary
Breakfast was good. Rooms clean. Staff friendly.

I was really impressed that someone was at the pool and spa when it opened in the morning, checking the water. As a parks and recreation professional, I have witnessed many hotel pools that aren't being monitored and that I would not want to have my family swim in.
Daily monitoring is essential for having a safe and clean facility, and this one is well cared for! I had no issues letting my granddaughter enjoy it!

This was a clean, comfortable property with friendly staff and the breakfast had a great variety of delicious items. Highly recommend!
Sarah
Great location. Even better staff! We arrived at the hotel several hours before our check in time as we just flew on the redeye. We were exhausted and badly needed a nap before a social event we had flown in to attend. The woman at the front desk was so kind. I wish I had thought to have written her name down, but we were so tired, She allowed us to check in several hours early despite the fact that the hotel was packed and she was very busy. We will definitely stay here when we return.
Chad
Great place to stay!

The fitness center treadmill was down

No coffee makers in the room and we had no towels so had to go to front desk at 6:30 am and front desk was on break so had to sit and wait a bit. Floors in our room were not very clean, little pieces of garbage. Housekeeping came in while were gone then and completely turned off the air so when we got back late at night from a wedding it was very warm/sticky in the room. Probably wouldn't stay again, it was overpriced based on overall experience.
Karen
As a person in a wheelchair, it was hard to reach the sink faucet and soap dispenser. There was enough clearance under the sink to wheel under it but then I couldn't reach the faucet and the soap dispenser was too high on the wall. Luckily my wheelchair elevates. All in all the sink configuration just wasn't right.
Jane
Quiet and comfortable. Convenient location and easy to get to. Staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of choices. I would stay here again.

Breakfast was typical powdered eggs and thin meat. Our bathroom floor was not cleaned properly. There were atleast 10 hairs from past guests that were clearly visible.
Bed was comfortable. Room itself was quiet and comfortable.

Jeff
Friendly staff, room was very clean. Decent breakfast. I’d stay here again with no second thoughts
Cari
Staff was amazing and extremely accommodating for our pop-up needs. Room is big. Bed is comfortable. On this trip, they didn't keep breakfast stocked the entire serving window, but everything else was great. Much, much better than another hotel in the area we stayed at last month.
Jeff
Everything was wonderful
Christopher and Laurie
Honestly, this was one of the worst Holiday Inn Expresses that I have stayed at. Everything seemed to be broken or cheaply replaced (maybe they had remodeled it). For example, the door numbers were pieces of paper taped on to the doors. One of the two elevators was out of service. One of the two ice machines was out of service. Most Holiday Inn Expresses rotate some of the offerings for breakfast but it was the same every day. The water pressure and water temperature in the Shower was too weak and never got hot (most hotels hot water on the shower will scald you) and the pressure in the sink was way too high that it would splattered out of the sink. The sidewalks were cleaned off and the parking spots were cleared of snow but they didn't clear the curb at all so you would step in a a small amount of snow which made the parking lot slicker than if they hadn't cleared it. The room did not have a thermostat which made it difficult to keep the room comfortable.
Edmund
Everything was very nice, room was too hot though even with temp set at 63. Heater and fridge were VERY loud. Very clean, good breakfast and comfortable bed
Malcolm
Two issues of note: The pool. It was rather cool in this area, making it uncomfortable. Concerning the room. The bed covering was very warm. It would be nice if there was a lighter weight blanket option in the room.
Jon
Good staff
Patrick
Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was o.k.(some of the food was on the cool side). A little disappointed the hot tub was shut down. Overall a good stay.
Grayson
Room was clean. Facility was clean. Nicely renovated.
Janet
Rooms were nicely renovated. Everything was clean. Staff was very helpful.
Cheryl
The room was very clean, staff was courteous, and we enjoyed the breakfast options, including the warm food on such a cold winter morning.
Barbara

Angie

The room was newly painted and seemed clean. We were placed in a handicap room at the end of the hall which we appreciated because it was a hockey weekend with a bunch of kids staying - and they weren’t quiet. We didn’t get to use the hot tub or pool because they took it over. One of two elevators was out of service and the tv reception was terrible. The screen was flashing the picture as too many people were on the system and the service couldn’t keep up. The staff was a little rude but rarely seen. The breakfast is nothing to be excited about. The meat was overcooked and dry. But parking was free and it was clean.
Nicholas
All of the above.
Steve
Excellent, clean, friendly
Kim
Good place to stay overall. Hotel was getting some updates so there was some construction items about. Did not really affect anything but good to see a property improvement was in process.
Jon
Easy check in, clean, quiet room
PAULA
Place was clean
calvin
Excellent
Dirk
Quiet, clean and convenient. Comfy bed, nice size room and clean.
James
The room was clean and quiet. The water was hot at the bathroom sink but only lukewarm in the shower. Fixtures were updated. A lot of the hotel was under construction. The first floor ice machine was broken. Only one elevator was operational. Check in was right next to an automatic opening door which kept opening and closing while we were checking in. Breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel.
Leonard
Rude person at the front desk during check out time.
Russell
Breakfast was great
Mike
Breakfast is just ok. Staff not very
Pleasant upon arrival. I made a mistake when booking and they did not even try working with me. We stay here 2-3 times a year and the remainder dealing has been going for at least 2 years. Tired of construction material all over the place.

Remodeling going on made it hard to give review. Chairs in dining area make terrible noise when moved. They are doing well during a remodel.
Thomas
We were meeting friends
DAVID
Hotel is under substantial remodel it room was clean and comfortable
Wavie
Property is being remodeled however this was NOT disrupting. Always enjoy our stay and the breakfast served in the morning. PS: Missed the waffles this year, they had pancakes.
Bob
The hotel was going through some remodeling and need to keep the construction debris to areas being worked on and clean areas that need to be used by their guests. The rooms were spacious and clean and quite which was all we really needed for our 3 night stay. the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had and I do a lot of traveling for work around the USA. Once the remodeling is complete, this will be one of the best places to stay.
Shelley
Property undergoing renovations, but my room was updated and exceptional. Hopefully they won't start working on hallways / etc before I wake up and breakfast will be a great experience as well.
Debbie
Had pool and hot tub, was convenient location for our needs.
Joseph

LIKED THE QUALITY OF THE BREAKFAST

Sandra
Our room smelled of mold and mildew. There was mildew on the wall under the sink in the bathroom.
The breakfast options were disappointing, and were either cheap substitutes, or were designed for those in poor health. Chicken sausage, egg white omelettes, etc.
I did enjoy being the only person in the pool and hot tub, or should I say \"warm\" tub.
Staff were friendly and helpful, location was great, but we expected better overall from Holiday Inn.

Breakfast options good. Quiet and comfortable. Room clean.

JOHN
Just your average room in an average hotel surrounded by average parking lots. And those very average powdered eggs for breakfast. You guys can do better.
Patricia
Comfortable
Dean
Property is under renovation. Construction supplies on multiple floors.
John
The only thing we couldn't understand is that there was one person at the desk during check-in. If check-in time is at 3:00 then put two at the front desk to assist with answering the phone... checking people in... answering questions from people already checked in. I expected better from Holiday Inn.
Eileen
Room was very clean
Angela
The room and property were very clean. Staff was great!

Michelle
Smooth and friendly check in, clean room.
Diane
Nice hotel, conveniently located. Great breakfast.
Rosita
Clean hotel and rooms. Staff is very friendly

I entered first room and fumes from constuction were so bad I requested another room. Second room had 2 men inside who are workers. When i asked for refund they declined stating they would have 20% off room. Not to mention construction was advertised as being over online.

Under Construction
Was under massive construction during my stay. Was not told about it
Richard
The hotel was being remodeled, which had I known, I would have stayed elsewhere. There was no disclaimer when I booked the room, and no sign outside the hotel saying it was being remodeled. Just bare drywall and carpet tiles peeling up in the hallways once I got upstairs. If the room had been refundable, I would’ve moved on and stayed elsewhere. Construction noise, unloading trucks, etc started early, which was fine for me as I was up early for work, but maybe less appealing to those who were trying to sleep in. I appreciate trying to improve the property and understand this is not an easy thing to do without being disruptive to guests, but people should be made aware of the fact that major renovations are underway before booking a non-refundable room.
Megan
This was a decent stay for the money. Had everything a person would need. Decent breakfast, clean rooms, pool and hot tub.
Check-in was easy, host was super nice and friendly. parking was easy.
This hotel is right by the Arboretum which was great.
The room smelled a little like weed when we arrived, but we were able to open the window and air it out.
The facility appeared to be undergoing some renovations.
I’d stay again.

Comfortable and clean
Only downside was the hot tub wasn’t in service during their remodel. That may no longer be an issue now.
Christa
Very clean and friendly
Michelle
It was very nice in an average way. They had a nice breakfast bar, but we were surprised to learn that it was an additional price, pay as you go - either for the entire buffet or as an individual priced order. The location wasn’t perfect for us and seemed a little off trail, but it worked for our needs.
David
Great overnight stay
We had a great overnight stay. Facility was in the middle of making improvements. Surprisingly, it didn't effect the quality of our stay. Front desk was very helpful and polite. We look forward to staying there again.
Sandy
Hotel under construction. Will be nice when done. Parking is a little challenging with a larger vehicle.
Marcia
Excellent Holiday Inn Express
Everything was excellent. Comfortable bed, bathroom and shower. Room was very nice. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was very good also.
Leann
Very pleasant stay — were there for a play. Room was comfortable and loved the pillows!!
Tamara
Very nice.
Kima
We only stayed one night, disappointed about hot tub not working but my kids had fun in the pool that was for their height.
Laura
It was under remodel. The window was broken. It was dirty. I could kick the dirt and debris down the hallway. I was so nervous. I was ready to sleep in my car.
