Room was dirty. Bugs. Used towel in bathroom. Lighting fixtures torn out of ceiling. Holes in walls. Flooring was coming up. Front desk lady said if someone knocks on your door besides me don’t answer. Not safe. We didn’t stay and they refused a refund. We were in room for 5 minutes and knew we didn’t feel safe staying. Totally gross!

this place is awful! all kinds of junk laying around outside, lawn has not be mowed , weeds everywhere that was all before you get inside !! blanket has stains and holes, sheets and towels are paper thin, paid for two night could not stay there! The room was dirty(examples: stained towels and blankets, hair in the bath tub and under the bed sheets.) wifi didn’t reach or work in my room. Window was gross and looked like it hadn’t been wiped clean in a while. Breakfast seemed to be nonexistent. Fruit and some granola bars. Called property and told them we would be checking in after 1am. Waited at the door for 10 minutes that had a sign to call after 11 pm. The security door was locked so we thought. It ended up not being locked
Called like we were supposed to do per the sign. Finally got management attention. Check in went good. Got to the room and it wasn't clean at all. Window was wide open with no screen on it. They claimed they were airing it out. Room smelled just nasty. They claimed to have offered another room they didn't. I ended up cleaning the room myself the next morning. Then wasn't given proper time with the cleaning supplies. The lake view was great and convenient shopping close. Good for the money paid, but I guess cheaper isn't always a good thing.

Room was dirty, stained sheets, crumbs and wrappers on the bed. The toilet was broke and wouldn't even flush. I was staying with my kids (15 and 7) and I did not feel comfortable with them staying there. They minute you walk into the door it stunk horribly, even my 7 year old couldn't stand it. Asked for a refund as I didn't feel comfortable studying with my kids and the manager was rude.

Only one wash cloth (which that was dirty with like coffee stains on it). The back door was open and what appeared to be a homeless individual inside when we had left for an event. Did not feel comfortable there nor safe.

The pictures of the property are totally false. The whole weekend there was 3 cars in the parking lot. The hostess told us it was under construction, they need to close down and remodel. Old outdated rooms, bathroom fan was held on by tie wire, didn't see no breakfast, towels had holes in them, and carpet wasn't great. The only plus was bed was decent and the shower was hot.

This hotel is a very grim accommodation. We had booked a room for five people and our room had two double beds. One of our teens slept sitting up in a chair. It smelled terrible, there was no toilet paper, hand soap, or shampoo. The sink faucet was faulty, and the “bath mat” was a very worn old hand towel. The bath towel was covered in black stains (hair dye?). We all agree this was our worst hotel stay ever. Honestly. Steer clear.

Room climate terrible. Heat wouldn’t turn off so it turned into an inferno. Had to run the A/C to offset the heat. Both units had to run simultaneously.

Room ok. No coffee maker. Coffee in lobby was pretty horrid.

No Wifi. Was told it was spotty. Meaning it didn’t work.

Breakfast buffet a joke. (See photo) Later told I didn’t even get that because I used a booking service, which of course promoted the free breakfast.

Tried to cancel second night but could not at the hotel. They said I had to cancel through the service. The service tried, but surprise! No go. So I had to pay for a second night I didn’t use. Went elsewhere.

The man at the front desk was extremely nice and toled me about the struggles of keeping good staff. But the rooms where dirty. Shower curtain was moldy the floor had dead bugs and other peoples lint. Fridge still had food in it. The tables hadnt been whiped off and had drink rings on the side tables. The building is old but the bed was comfortable and clean and near the minnesota renaissance festival.

I didn't care for the stay at all. The hotel smelled of marijuana mixed with dirty feet, the room had smears on the wall that resembled feces and the bed had pubic hair in it. The microwave did not have the glass plate and there wasn't a remote for the TV. All in all, it was horrifying and I would not stay there again.

I stayed a night that was very full payed over 100 for a room I couldn’t even fall asleep in as the place was noisy with accessories. There was bugs apparently someone left the window wide open with the screen out and let bugs in guy said it was his last room and I paid before I got up there. He warned me of a stained toilet I understood but the overall stay and appearance of this place was unpleasant. I would have taken pictures but wasn’t in it trying to take photos either.

The manager, Tony, was friendly and helpful. Honestly, I was not expecting much from this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. It was bright and smelled fresh, with a beautiful view of the lake. The bathroom was average and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and so were the pillows! I was not expecting that, I would love to have that bed and those pillows in my own house!

Run down. The air conditioner was covered in dust and cob webs we didn't dare turn it on. No screen on the window so we couldn't open it. The blankets were worn and stained. The smell in the back hallway to the exit smelled so bad I ran to the exit door gaging.We checked out about 45 minutes after checking in. We didn't feel safe (3 women).
The person that checked us in and out was very friendly.

Lobby and hallways have a horrible smell to them. Could definitely use some new carpet. Room was ok, the floors and under the bed need to be swept and mopped regularly. The bathtub has soap scum on the side of it from lack of proper cleaning. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Past upgrades to the rooms were poorly done, i.e. poor install on laminate flooring.

I walked into the room and the only thing clean was the made bed and bathroom. The carpet had not been vacuumed and had small specs of paper or dirt all over the floor. The remote on the tv had a drop of something sticky. The tv had splatters of something sticky. The tv screen had something sticky and only showed 1 channel. The Scripps Howard network. If you like kid science shows in the morning, news in the afternoon, and real crime shows at night, maybe that’s for you. The worst part. I came to recoup from a sickness and get rest and at 12:00 AM woke to someone violently banging my door against the safety latch 10-15 times to get in. The man at the front desk says “Sorry. I gave someone the key by accident. “The system” game them your room. I checked out a day early and the man lay the desk looked hung over and could barely stand up. Absolutely, DO NOT go there.

A motel when you need one.

Set your expectations low.

I've always thought, if you have no expectations, you can't be disappointed.
Upon arrival, no one was present at the desk. The first phone I found just rang the empty desk. After a few minutes, I found a ring doorbell camera on the wall. I pushed it and someone came out to check me in. The hotel is rundown and musty. Very stained carpet. No elevator. Breakfast is supposed to be an option but I never saw it in 3 days. The room itself was decent. However the TV was unviewable due to how dark the screen was. A few hours after check out, I called because I had left something in the room only to be told that it was not in the room. Even though the app stated it was there, they assured me it was not. Oh well...the only thing going for them, they are the only hotel in town.

The property needed to be updated 10 years ago. Surprised Expedia even offered super 8/ Wyndham property in such poor condition. Chaska has a lot to offer and after visiting multiple establishments, this was not up to expectations. Probably will use another search engine for my next trip. Expedia turned a long weekend golf trip into a nightmare.

The hotel itself is dumpy. The “free breakfast” consisted of coffee, a box of granola bars, and a box of prepackaged pastries. The room itself was exceedingly clean. The desk staff was very nice and even went above and beyond by lending me a phone charger as I had forgotten mine and my phone was about dead. So if you’re not fussy about the aesthetics of the overall building, this is an ok place to stay as the rooms were very clean.

I would not recommend staying here. The staff was friendly, but the building itself is dirty from years of wear and tear. The lampshades in my room were ripped, the walls were dirty, there was a huge cobweb on the ceiling, there were 3 Combat insect baits throughout the room, a couple dead bugs in the room, and the electrical cords were set up in an unsafe manner. I suggest you stay somewhere else.
