I arrived at 3:15, and check in was at 3. I was told my card declined, so i had to get on the phone with my bank. They had already charged me at 10 am and when i got there they ran the card again. And a 3rd time. Still waiting on my reimbursement. Rooms were stinky like cigarettes, and falling apart. The hotel floor was broken and lifting up. The contintal breakfast was only waffles every day. We left a day early. Cant beleive this is a Wyndham hotel.

Room was very clean, the front desk staff were amazing in every way. They had no way of knowing how horrible if a day i was having, and they managed to help me out and accommodated my children and i to make sure we were comfortable. It put a smile on my face for the first time in a while. Id definitely recommend this hotel over and over

Best place to get hep C ever! There were feces prints all over the room. It smelled like rotting food/flesh. Basically a corpse smell that was so bad I almost puked all night! The front door had been literally pooped on in a way I can’t describe or understand. They tried to take two deposits and two room fees from myself and the three people in line behind me at the desk whom had the same theft happen to them. There was a self announced Somali gang member who threatened me in the parking lot! He is friends with the owner!!! The toilet was leaking sewage on the floor being held together by small slats of wood so the back didn’t collapse on the floor. The floor was so sticky, I almost got stuck! With this owner, it needs to be shut down immediately or risk infecting every customer who touches anything.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I want a refund NOW !!! The room was dirty the covers had stains the heat didn’t work it was holes in the doors and walls even tho my room was no smoking because I had younger kids with me the room smelled just like cigarettes and marijuana I told the front desk and was told no I couldn’t get clean cover because the ones I had was clean which they weren’t I told them my kids was cold and the heat didn’t work they did nothing and then hours later they brought me a space heater that still did nothing they had people sleeping in the lobby it was trash !!!!!!!

there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, used baby body on the safe green sos pad used on the floor mold around the bathtub, tiles missing next to toilet temp control did not work asked for a late check out and the moring attended was very rude and demding went to get some coffee and a waffle and was kicked out of the room so the gentleman could clean the floors

Lobby was nice in comparison, not good breakfast options.

Burnt outlet near beds, and electrical tape all around the cord of AC unit, though the unit worked well.

Had a smart TV that would not connect to Wifi and couldnt use by itself.

Nice fridge space.

Staff was indifferent towards customers for the most part.

Rooms were devoid of any normal items. There were no coffee pots, clock, wall art, or even a fire escape plan. We had two beds and a TV. Not even cups to drink from. The breakfast bar consisted of waffles and coffee. There was no milk, juice, or peanut butter/jelly. Very disappointed with the hotel.

The place is a dump. Checking in there was nobody at the desk. Had to call him. The paperwork went smooth. Room was dirty. Diet ridges pushed up at edges of the floor. No cups, no waste basket, air conditioner wasn’t running. The room didn’t cool off until after midnight. All the furniture was beat up. Sheets were clean. Towels were clean. Smart TV with limited access to channels. Tub faucet only provided lukewarm water. Parking was limited. Had to park across the street because several contractor trailers were taking up parking spaces.

Front desk was supposed to be 24 hours but was closed when we got there and there was no way to get a hold of them as their phone wasn't working. We got lucky someone came by the desk after we had been there for 20 minutes.

Heater in room did not work. Turned it on it made a bad burning smell then shut down and set off the smoke detector in the room. Breakfast consisted of either pancakes or waffles and orange juice, nothing else. I will not stay there nor will I recommend for others to stay there.

Both nights we were awakened by fighting and screaming. At one point two little children in a vehicle right outside yelling for their mom, and somebody taking her away. Then one of the kids pleading not to kill her.

At 3am on Sunday morning somebody was using what sounded like a table saw in one of the rooms down the hall.

Only waffles and coffee at breakfast - nothing else. Not even water.

Would not recommend.

Hotel called at 4:00 pm and said they had to charge a credit card that was not discover. I booked my reservation through Expedia and used Discover, but they insisted I had to give them another card over the phone or they may cancel my reservation. They said they don’t accept discover. When I went to check in later in the evening, they had a sign on the front desk saying that they accepted Discover. They ripped the sticker off the desk and said I had to pay with another card. They did not have two rooms for me with two beds each per my reservation. Door to my room would not shut. My wife could not get it shut. I had to slam it had to shut it all weekend.

Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to fix an issue before I arrived. They tried calling multiple times and no one called them back.
Every time we went to the front desk, no one was there. They had a phone at the front desk to call the manager. The rooms we were in, the phones did not work so we had to go down to the front desk each time. It did not matter what time of day or night it was.
Free breakfast was a joke. The coffee maker was almost out of coffee. There was 4 of us and we each took a 1/2 glass of coffee. Had issues with the waffle maker and the toaster did not work. Your only option for breakfast was a waffle.
The beds were comfortable.
The air conditioner sounded like it was going to blow up. Horrible noises all night long coming from it.
The towels/washcloths were old and rough.
The first night there our tv did not work. Walk down to the lobby, called the manager. Never apologized for the inconvenience, just said you need to turn the tv on. I said it is on but the remote for the cable box is not working. He never offered to come down and help out. The next day the janitor came in to fix the tv and had to replace the batteries. Still could not get the tv to work, he said that when we got back that he would have the tv fixed. Left and came back 8 hours later and still no tv. Went back to the lobby to call and the guy said well you need to use your phones hot spot to connect and then the tv will work. What a NIGHTMARE!!

Cheap place to stay

Immediately entering the room, there was a strong order that smelled like cheap perfume. The air conditioner was very loud, but it drowned out the noises from the street and other rooms, so there’s that. The bathroom was dirty, there was a hole in the bathroom door, there was something covering what I assume was the thermostat - looks like wet tissues that were plastered on the wall over it. The curtains had holes that let in light. The refrigerator was missing a handle. There were barely enough outlets to plug in our cell phones. Would never stay here again or recommend the place to others.

The property is very unkept. The grass is tall, the floors in the hallways are in need of replacement, the carpet in the room is very dirty, there is an odor throughout the building, the bed linens are stained, the shower tiles are falling off the wall, there is trash everywhere.

We literally checked in at 8:30pm and just dropped our stuff off. left for an event came back at 2:30am and the room was disgusting!
Bed was broken and tipped over when we sat on it, along with human stains and hair on the INSIDE sheets!! dirt and grime on each inch of the room. Stained carpets, ac unit taped in with electrical tape, holes and stains on bathroom door - had a wad of Kleenex stuffed in one hole... and this was just the beginning - we felt completely unsafe and had to leave at 2:45am

no electrical outlets adjacent to the bed or desk to plug in battery operated device devices like phones or laptop laptops or tablets. I had to plug in my tablet next to the air conditioner and charge my phone, wireless headphones, and watch over in the bathroom area. Showerhead is about 5 feet high, meaning one has to duck to rinse off shampoo. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was available in the morning, but I did not take time to get any.

Tldr: if you just want a place to sleep shower and use the bathroom this place is for you. If you care about cleanliness or warm water go anywhere else.
I know this hotel was only 50$ a night so I shouldn't expect anything great, but here is a real review. I showed up on wendsday at 430-5pm. When I get here no one is at the desk. I can hear someone talking in a room down the hall and I try to get their attention and nothing. So I do what any normal person does and look around for a bell. Well they have a phone with a sign that says if no one is at the desk pick up phone. When I did that the phone behind the counter started to ring... then another wait and finally someone helped me. While they where helping me I was coerced into leaving a review, the manager wouldn't let me sign the paperwork untill I left a review.
As I walk to my room the hallways smell like cigarettes and weed(in a no smoking hotel).
Then I get to my room.... multiple holes in the walls random black stuff on the walls and red stuff on the ceiling. The floors are dirty as all hell. My socks where black after walking around the room. Then I go to take a shower and there is no hot water... so long story short I won't be back and I reccomend you spend your money anywhere else

To preface this, we are not super picky about hotels as long as they are clean.

Upon arrival to the hotel, there was smoke in the hallway. The hotel staff did have air purifiers throughout the hallway, but it did not remove the weed smell. The rooms were small, but completely acceptable. They werent in perfect condition, holes in the wall, some screws sticking out, but that wasn't what made this a terrible experience. We were getting ready for bed and looked at the bedding to find one bed with a massive urine spot on the sheets. The other had nail polish or paint, bright pink, across the sheets and top blanket. When we lifted the blanket, there was hair and more stains.
Thinking maybe our room was missed when cleaning, I went to the front desk and asked for new bedding. They were very nice and gave me two new sheets so I could change them. When I got back to my room, I opened the bedding to see they had urine and other bodily fluid stains.

If we hadn't just traveled 6 hours with three kids (arriving about 11pm), I would have packed up and left immediately. We were out of options so stayed for the night. To make it even more dissappointing, there was no hot water in the morning to shower so thank goodness for water rides at Valleyfair.

The resturant across from the hotel was delicious and had amazing breakfast!

This property is in need of some major improvements.
Everything is outdated and it appears no one cares. It's dirty both inside and out. There was a foul smell in the hallway and the room. The bed sheets and pillows were awful. The air conditioner in the room didn't work. You had to slam the door to get it to close. And on top of all that breakfast shut down early and really didn't offer much of anything to begin with.
I do not recommend this property.

Night was prepaid (via hotels.com). I requested a room close to a door or elevator (emphysema and HEAVY suitcase), with no stairs. Front desk found me a room on first floor, but charged me an extra $15.00. Room had non-functional TV, one burned out bulb in bathroom. Although there was an ice machine down the hall, the room had no ice bucket or glasses. The soda machine next to the ice maker was non-functional, although it did eat 8 quarters without complaint. My stay was only one night, so I did not bring these shortcomings to the attention of the staff -- but couldn't wait to check out and get to my next (much better) location.

Check in is 3pm my room wasn’t ready till nearly 8pm. Then my room smelled like people had been cooking food in there. There was numerous holes and cracks in the walls. The deadbolt on the door was screwed back into the door after what looked like the door was kicked in. I didn’t not feel safe. I do not recommend and I will never stay here again.

Booked the room. We were able to get to Shakopee Mn by 1:30pm. I realized check-in wasn't until 3pm. Was told room was cancelled and the price went up over $20.00 more. Than we walk into the room after our concert at 1am. One towel. Bed spread was dirty. Floor was dirty. No TV remote. Very little toilet paper and the sweet smell of pot being smoked in the hallway. Go to the night clerk to get towels and toilet paper and got nothing. I realize this will more than likely end up getting deleted by hotels.com. that's okay. I have over a million looks on my Google maps reviews.

The lobby was nice, the person at the front desk friendly. I had to put a $100 deposit down in addition to payment for room. The room wasnt so great. The floor tiles were coming up and we kept tripping over them. The pillows were very thin, there was really no blanket on the beds it was so thin. There was barely any lights in the room. No cups or the usual items except shampoos, etc. Very few thin towels and one was very dirty! The toilet wasnt bolted down and there were many spots they missed when cleaning. On a good note, even tho the tub was slippery and my friend got hurt, the showerhead was amazing. When we checked out i asked if they needed to look at the room to give my deposit back. We left it in great condition. The owner said no. He asked if i had a receipt for the deposit but noone had given me any paperwork. I has to show him my online bank account to prove they had taken it. He then made me scan a qr code and give a review before he would refund my deposit. I told him i was a reviewer and would do it later because i was late for an appt. He wouldnt let me leave and give my deposit until i reviewed the place. I wrote a quick review. He then took my phone and added to my review!

I booked my room with them based on some nice looking online images, but once I arrived I found the room to be filthy and very poorly remodeled. There were multiple stains from who knows what on the walls, it smelled funny in the hallways, the flooring was coming up, outlet covers were missing, and I found a wood tick crawling on my pillow, which initially freaked me out because I thought it was a bedbug. When I called the front desk to ask for another room they were annoyed and said \"well, what do you want me to do about it.\" It's a slum.

Good experience

Honestly it was better than most hotels. I was shocked. The only issue I had was the noise in the morning. Some guests decided to play with doors it sounded like. From 5am-7am. I don't what they were doing. The breakfast shocked me also. They had pancakes, waffles, orange juice, oatmeal, ect but no meats or scrambled eggs. It was clean and have a diner right across the street. 20mins from mall of america

This was a place to stay no carpet in room beds mostly just frames bedding not clean stains everywhere bathroom had crack in ceiling wereheat had eaten through sink had cracks and stains everywhere before we cleaned it broken outside window heating was a space heater had to clean the bathroom and sink before use huge crack on toilet seat that was almost cracked all the way through day and night after a nice clean we took pictures of before and after there were people living in the third exit door way all their stuff spread out like it was their living room e bike plugged in close drying I noticed a few minutes after check in went to get ice ran into a vagrant kid in the kitchen breakfast nook doing something I startled him he immediately took off for the door no pop in any of the vending machines or snacks we had to get towels for our room again check making me think they never cleaned it I paid for a king bed and got two twin beds too instead everything was just off at this place from beginning to end they need a major overhaul of all the facilities we had trouble finding workers at all after check in until check out very strange stay we have been to dozens of place throughout Minnesota we visit hotels every other weekend for years the freight train horn from 3 am to 5 am or so was not soothing either

Sink backed up when brushing teeth
One bed in room had not been changed
Hole in bathroom door was patched terribly/cheaply
“Breakfast” was one waffle maker and Tang OJ
Would never willingly book this hotel again

One of the most disgusting hotels I've ever been at. The room I went into was dirty there was pee on the toilet the walls were dirty as well. They did not offer much for breakfast. I would never come back here again.

You get what you pay for. There are no bells or whistles, but if you’re not wanting to spend a lot and still want something clean, it’s a good place to stay. I’ve stayed here twice and will again if I’m in the area.

Bedding was stained and had hair on it. Toilet had a lot of pubic hair on the rim and urine. Not cleaned at all!!!!!! Breakfast only had a waffle maker, coffee, and weird Kool aid orange juice, no fruit or cereal or milk or bread options. Will never stay again!!!
