Staff was great and the room was clean
Ann
Our room on the first floor was damp the entire weekend, bed, carpet…very poor ventilation. Hotel is very tired, inside and out. Good location and nice staff!
Angela
This was just the place we were looking for for just a one night getaway near Mystic and Canterbury. I was actually surprised at how updated and cleaned the property was. Everybody was super friendly. The pool in the hot tub were nice amenity.
Saida
it was good and quiet, great breakfast and nice area.!
LaVetta L
It was terrible all the food was old
Kristen
The room was very clean and staff was friendly.
Jahmal
Everything I expected. Spacious room and adequate parking on site. Close to our event. No complaints. Staff was welcoming and helpful when we checked in. Breakfast was adequate and did the job.
Kyle
Amazing hotel! Stayed with my wife, 3 kids and mom. Room was great! Pool was amazing!!! Even had a kitty pool for kitty slide for kiddos. Definitely best hotel iv stayed at in the cities for the price we paid. Breakfast was amazing as well!!! Definitely keeping this place as our top place to stay at when we come down!
Randy
We enjoy our stay here. Staff was very accommodating with a early check in. Location was convenient to our activities. Hope to visit again soon.
Brian
Room was clean and fairly nice, but the toilet ran and sprayed water all over the floor. Easy fix though, once I took the tank lid off and made an adjustment. Breakfast looked decent, but 30 minutes into the breakfast time, the eggs, potatoes and bacon were all cold. Waited in line to use the microwave for my 'hot breakfast'. Coffee was mediocre. Didn't see much of the staff, only at check-in and when we had 1 towel for 3 people. Didn't use the pool, so not much more to say.
Kelly
Great place! Will stay there again!
Amber
Great experience, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Couch and chairs in room were visibly stained. Floors by side entry door were dirty with spilled coffee/pop.
Shannon
Very nice size clean rooms.
melissa
the tub leaked and water was only lukewarm. hot tub was not very warm.
Foster
I liked the stay, the breakfast was good and it was a quiet stay, liked the exercise room and swimming pool, didn’t get to use them but glad for the opportunity. It was a nice place and thank you.
Tyron
Great stay overall! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. Check-in was quick, and the hotel was quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again.
Peter
Best breakfast in the area
Jamie
The rooms were supposedly non-smoking but had a stale smoke smell, especially on the third floor. There was no screen on our window even though we were able to open the window. There were loose tiles on the bathroom floor, so we needed to be careful not to injure ourselves. The light in the elevator area was out during our stay and others mentioned it had been out all weekend. Then there was the pool area; the chlorine and other chemicals were so strong I could not stand being in the pool area for more than 15-30 min tops. All the kids in our group complained of their skin and eyes being irritated by the water. All of us, especially the kids had a cough that night from the pool chemicals. It was horrible! The breakfast was poor by continental breakfast standards. Overall it was a bad experience, we will not be returning and would not recommend to others.
Alyss
Very good Continental breakfast

The Hotel was ok. Rooms were spacious, shower leaked and the ceiling fan had fuzzys coming out of it. Pool was fun but clorine was high. The staff was nice and accommodating. The hotel was at full occupancy and I saw 1 front desk and1 breakfast room person. Which is a lot to ask.
Tanya
The rooms were so humid. The pool area is not clean. The electricity was flickering constantly.
Samantha
Really nice friendly staff. Pool and slide were amazing. Loved the private hottub. Breakfast had lots of options.
Colleen
The pool is great, the location is perfect for our needs.
Joshua
Our room had a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. It was a nice, unexpected surprise. Friendly Staff. Victor was fantastic! Will definitely stay here again!
Heather
Our room wasn’t ready and it was after check in time.
There were ants in our room.
No shampoo or conditioner in the shower. They were empty but not replaced.

We stayed in what was considered the suite .
It was very spacious...the room was clean..it appeared that it hadn't been occupied in awhile ..and the bathroom could have used a once over.

Pool area was packed and room temperature was extremely warm.
Breakfast was good, but the tables were jammed in the space making it hard to get around to get your food, and the room temperature was once again too warm.

Fun place for kids with the water park slides
Alisha
First of all, the pool was not clean. Nor was the hot tub remind you you can't even have a tippy cup in there. For your toddler, because it's not allowed. They will constantly watch you on cameras until you put your infant's bottles, tippy cups, regular cups anything away. And if not, you are asked to leave the property very pro customer service, I would never stay there in my entire life again.
Mary
I was impressed by the staff who were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful!!! Our room was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable !!
Whitney
The front desk was not friendly or respectful. Bathroom had cleaning product sprayed and left. Will not stay here again
geoffery
The room was nice . If you bring a Amazon Firestick or anything to hook to your TV they no longer provide wifi for your television. The Hot Tub in the pool are was Luke Warm at Best and the Breakfast Buffet was SubPar. Both the eggs and potatoes were loaded with red and green peppers which I assume not everyone likes , I know I don't. There is much better places to stay in Shakopee so I won't be going back to Americinn
Troy
Pool area was nice. Morning breakfast was decent as well. Rooms are fairly neglected but was clean and comfortable beds.
Samantha
breakfast was great. rooms where clean. Only downfall was the pool area wasn't monitored and it's not a big area, so it was very loud, crowded and our kids where getting hit at the bottom of the slide cause other kids don't wait. Staff was very good and helpful.
Tristian
It was ok
Stefanie
Shower was Luke warm at best,
Rebecca
Had a jacuzzi room. There was dust from fixing the wall I assume all over the one corner by the tub and the drain valve handle kept falling off. Pool was great but really crowded on Friday night. No ones fault of course, just a warning. Only other complaint is the price for nonguests to go swimming for a couple hours is outrageous!
Brit
The room I got was okay, but the maintenence needs to be better. It's like you get the landlord special when you start noticing a few things. Like a loose shower head, door knob loose, and paint jobs.
Ryan
Breakfast was cold, not warm at all, fireplace in the room didn't work, the slide was closed when my kid went to use it at 7:30 pm. Not a great experience by any means for what we paid for the room.
Valerie
Nice staff
Shauna
Pool and waterslide are very enjoyable for kids
Brian
Everything was great
Jenny
It wasn't maintained very well. No hot water paint all over in the room carpet warn through dirty sheet.
Johnny
The room was disgusting and had stains everywhere black mold in the bathroom which we didn't discover until I woke up unable to breathe and checked the toilet and counter it was horrible when I went to speak to the desk they kept ignoring me
Molly
Room was updated and clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. It’s a cheap hotel so nothing crazy fancy but it is super nice for the price.
Debra
The room smelled very bad and it wasn't even the room we reserved.
Kallie
staff was great, room was surface level pretty but falling apart, a timer on the in room jacuzzi was weird to me.
Margie
The room was clean, which was nice. There were, however, loose tiles on the bathroom floor next to the toilet. The refrigerator was also wobbly, which made it difficult to open and close. The room did have all of the amenities we needed, with plenty of outlets for charging all of our electronics. Our room keys were deactivated twice during our stay. We had to go to the desk and reactivate them. The staff was kind and courteous when helping with this. It seemed that the keys were set to deactivate at 10am even though checkout was 11am and our reservation was for 2 nights. The continental breakfast was good. They offered a decent variety. The pool was also nice. They kept the water at the perfect temperature and even checked it periodically.
Samantha
The room smelled like celery and honey. We even opened up the windows to get the smell out, but that didn't work.
My kids pulled out the pull-out couch, and a packet of marijuana edibles came flying out.
The pool area is fine, but do NOT get the late check-out, as they close the water slides down from 11am-3pm. We got the late check-out, and there were about 6 other kids in the pool area, but the front desk guy shut the water slides off anyways at 11:00am on the dot.

Both of the beds had red and orange stains
Bergit
Nice breakfast buffet, waterslide is a plus
laurel
The room was dirty and smelled like it had not been cleaned. There were visible stains on the bedding as well as a sticky residue on the desk. My son found a stink bug (alive) in the bed. There was also silly string on the wall and the ceiling. The sink had a leak so there was a puddle under it. I told the front desk when we found it and he said he could switch our room or send maintenance up at that time. It was 10:30 pm and my kids were sleeping so neither of those were options. He told me to put some towels down. Not helpful. He really didn’t seem to care about the leak. The breakfast was mediocre. The water slide (the reason we chose this hotel) wasn’t turned on for part of the time while we were swimming in the evening and then morning even though it should have been running per the “hours” sign in the pool area. I would give 0 stars if possible. Would not recommend this hotel!
Kathryn
Clean room. Helpful friendly staff and kids loved the pool!
Ben
Staff was nice. Rooms are nice and have a fridge and microwave in them. Would stay there again, price was right.
Robin
room was clean and comfortable. Staff was great.
Amber
The rooms were ok but the breakfast really lacked… only thing that was ready was cereal and waffles the other items did not look edible.
don
Everything went well. Front desk person was very nice and accommodating. Pool and breakfast were very good. Will stay again
brad
Smell of marijuana in my bathroom that came from a different room through the ventilation. Found a tray of cupcakes in one of the drawers and a small empty ziplock bag with powder like substance in it on the floor beside the bed under the night table. The staff in the breakfast area was great.
Benjamin
Nice rooms for the price. Nice looking pool but we never used it. Overall very clean.
Katie
Everything was top notch 😁👍
darolyn
The hotel is great. It's you guys that he screwed up the rooms. What you have pictured is not the rooms that they end up giving you
Judy
Room was okay. The windows leak terribly. There was ice and a lot of moisture on the windows. As it melted the water gathered in the window well and onto the inside ledge. Very disappointed in the breakfast. When I arrived for breakfast there was no hot food left. Had to wait for more eggs, sausage, and potatoes to be made. My party stayed on New Year's Eve and knowing the place was booked full they could have planned better for breakfast for all the people that were there. Maybe had more staff on duty New Year's Day to handle the large breakfast crowd. The kids had a great time in the pool area. Very nice pool area. All of the staff were very friendly.
Zaid
My daughter has in the spectrum she touches other guest water then the person abused me with bad words and screamed at my Ear and yelled at me I tried to explain my child's situation but he was very aggressive I told the front desk man he said I will come there but he didn't come and he didn't say any thing to the man, the guest said sorry for his behavior but what he did was not appropriate.
Shawn
Clean room, large room, friendly staff!
Amber
Very dated, rough pain jobs and rust, not very clean
Jeff
The room was spotless and the pool, food and staff was exceptional. Our family had a great time, and we were very well taken care of.
Paul
I reserved a room with a jacuzzi and when I used it the jets didn’t hit the back, they hit the sides. The really gross part is when a used band-aid floated to the top presumably from one of the Jets. The breakfast was disgusting. Probably not staying there again. Very poor experience.
Paul
Smooth check-in
Angel
clean rooms, nice pool area, great location
Kaitlyn
We held a bday party for a 8 year old young lady and 5 of her best friends. A great time was had by all, the pool with slide was a hit. The room fit the bill for an overnight stay. The breakfast selection Sunday was great.
Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful time and party event. I would recommend to any one looking for a great get away!

Yes!
Megan
Staff were not very attentive, asked about a roll away bed and was told oh I don’t think we have one, no we don’t have any available. Room temperature fluctuated, and was not very good. Breakfast was so-so. And the pool… the air temperature was absolutely freezing, pool temps were average, and the hot tub was luke warm bath water.
Katie
Staff always super nice, hotel is clean
Lee A
Friendly front desk clerk upon check in. Very clean, comfortable room.
Kim
I think they need to update the rooms. Our first room had a very bad odor so we changed rooms which was a smaller room but didn’t get any compensation. We wanted the bigger room as we were celebrating our family Christmas.
The breakfast Saturday morning was cold and didn’t seem fresh.

Pool area needs a bit of TLC. Run down - so humid and overpowering chlorine smell. Kids can see passed that and loved the wateralide. Everything else was lovely. Spacious room , nice lobby - we hung out here a lot. Good area to let dogs out. Walking distance to Culvers with a bonus 10% off your total when showing your room card.
Tiffany
Unfriendly staff, poor service and early closed breakfast on holiday
Brenda
I like this hotel for its price it’s a decent hotel. It’s fun for the kids the breakfast is okay nothing to brag about but you also won’t go hungry, pretty clean breakfast , the rooms are a bit outdated. But we still always enjoy our stay here. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Aryanna
Staff was rude when we requested more towels
Marlisa
room was great
Ricky
It was a nice room
jesse
This place was awesome. The breakfast was delicious. Service was excellent. I’d recommend this place 100 more times.
Lujean
Room was clean, staff freindly, pool area was very nice
Sheenun
The room was very comforting and clean. Love the workers and the hospitality
Kathryn
All was fine!
JoAnn
Clean, comfortable room. Enjoyed having the Jacuzzi.
Ashley
The bathrooms were not clean, the staff didn’t seem to care, there was never anyone at the desk to ask for help. Went to breakfast, there was no coffee, they said it would be done in 5 minutes and I waited over 10 minutes. The food options were terrible, they had cereal but no bowls! And none of the staff seemed to care. Never going back
geoffery
The Room for the most part was in great condition . The sink stopper wouldn't open or close. The sheet on the bed had what looked like a small blood stain . I had the eggs and sausage patties for breakfast and both were disgusting. The eggs tasted instant and were watery. The sausage tasted like it had been boiled in water .
Kaitlyn
Amenities - lacking Crib and pack and plays for babies/toddlers
Ashly
The room and pool area could have been cleaner and a few staff seemed bothered to be there. But very fun and some really nice staff.
Mark
Everything was great
Brett
It’s fine. Not bad, not great
Jacqualyn
Staff was friendly. Our bed was broken when we got there (unsure how it was previously missed) but they fixed it right away. The bathtub was peeling and faucet was dripping, but otherwise the room was clean.
Bernadette
Very clean room ,easy key card access,

Room could have been cleaner. Floors needed mopping in the bathroom. Elevator floor was filthy
Samantha
Staff was super friendly. Room was mediocre, you could tell the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. There were things left in there from the guest previous. Hair on the shower and walls. Lose tiles on the floor. The pool was the worst part. Since it was the reason we booked this hotel we were very sad. Kiddie pool was absolutely disgusting and the second day it was out of order. We didn’t let our child swim in the pool because of the way it looked.
Donna
Nice room
Brian
This was a great hotel for the price we paid! The waterslide was fun for the kids! It really was the only place that advertised the slide was open 7 days a week so that was a huge selling point! Staff was friendly! Great location.
