First of all, the pool was not clean. Nor was the hot tub remind you you can't even have a tippy cup in there. For your toddler, because it's not allowed. They will constantly watch you on cameras until you put your infant's bottles, tippy cups, regular cups anything away. And if not, you are asked to leave the property very pro customer service, I would never stay there in my entire life again.

The room was nice . If you bring a Amazon Firestick or anything to hook to your TV they no longer provide wifi for your television. The Hot Tub in the pool are was Luke Warm at Best and the Breakfast Buffet was SubPar. Both the eggs and potatoes were loaded with red and green peppers which I assume not everyone likes , I know I don't. There is much better places to stay in Shakopee so I won't be going back to Americinn

Had a jacuzzi room. There was dust from fixing the wall I assume all over the one corner by the tub and the drain valve handle kept falling off. Pool was great but really crowded on Friday night. No ones fault of course, just a warning. Only other complaint is the price for nonguests to go swimming for a couple hours is outrageous!

The room was clean, which was nice. There were, however, loose tiles on the bathroom floor next to the toilet. The refrigerator was also wobbly, which made it difficult to open and close. The room did have all of the amenities we needed, with plenty of outlets for charging all of our electronics. Our room keys were deactivated twice during our stay. We had to go to the desk and reactivate them. The staff was kind and courteous when helping with this. It seemed that the keys were set to deactivate at 10am even though checkout was 11am and our reservation was for 2 nights. The continental breakfast was good. They offered a decent variety. The pool was also nice. They kept the water at the perfect temperature and even checked it periodically.

The room smelled like celery and honey. We even opened up the windows to get the smell out, but that didn't work.
My kids pulled out the pull-out couch, and a packet of marijuana edibles came flying out.
The pool area is fine, but do NOT get the late check-out, as they close the water slides down from 11am-3pm. We got the late check-out, and there were about 6 other kids in the pool area, but the front desk guy shut the water slides off anyways at 11:00am on the dot.

The room was dirty and smelled like it had not been cleaned. There were visible stains on the bedding as well as a sticky residue on the desk. My son found a stink bug (alive) in the bed. There was also silly string on the wall and the ceiling. The sink had a leak so there was a puddle under it. I told the front desk when we found it and he said he could switch our room or send maintenance up at that time. It was 10:30 pm and my kids were sleeping so neither of those were options. He told me to put some towels down. Not helpful. He really didn’t seem to care about the leak. The breakfast was mediocre. The water slide (the reason we chose this hotel) wasn’t turned on for part of the time while we were swimming in the evening and then morning even though it should have been running per the “hours” sign in the pool area. I would give 0 stars if possible. Would not recommend this hotel!

Smell of marijuana in my bathroom that came from a different room through the ventilation. Found a tray of cupcakes in one of the drawers and a small empty ziplock bag with powder like substance in it on the floor beside the bed under the night table. The staff in the breakfast area was great.

Room was okay. The windows leak terribly. There was ice and a lot of moisture on the windows. As it melted the water gathered in the window well and onto the inside ledge. Very disappointed in the breakfast. When I arrived for breakfast there was no hot food left. Had to wait for more eggs, sausage, and potatoes to be made. My party stayed on New Year's Eve and knowing the place was booked full they could have planned better for breakfast for all the people that were there. Maybe had more staff on duty New Year's Day to handle the large breakfast crowd. The kids had a great time in the pool area. Very nice pool area. All of the staff were very friendly.

My daughter has in the spectrum she touches other guest water then the person abused me with bad words and screamed at my Ear and yelled at me I tried to explain my child's situation but he was very aggressive I told the front desk man he said I will come there but he didn't come and he didn't say any thing to the man, the guest said sorry for his behavior but what he did was not appropriate.

I reserved a room with a jacuzzi and when I used it the jets didn’t hit the back, they hit the sides. The really gross part is when a used band-aid floated to the top presumably from one of the Jets. The breakfast was disgusting. Probably not staying there again. Very poor experience.

We held a bday party for a 8 year old young lady and 5 of her best friends. A great time was had by all, the pool with slide was a hit. The room fit the bill for an overnight stay. The breakfast selection Sunday was great.
Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful time and party event. I would recommend to any one looking for a great get away!

Staff were not very attentive, asked about a roll away bed and was told oh I don’t think we have one, no we don’t have any available. Room temperature fluctuated, and was not very good. Breakfast was so-so. And the pool… the air temperature was absolutely freezing, pool temps were average, and the hot tub was luke warm bath water.

I think they need to update the rooms. Our first room had a very bad odor so we changed rooms which was a smaller room but didn’t get any compensation. We wanted the bigger room as we were celebrating our family Christmas.
The breakfast Saturday morning was cold and didn’t seem fresh.

Pool area needs a bit of TLC. Run down - so humid and overpowering chlorine smell. Kids can see passed that and loved the wateralide. Everything else was lovely. Spacious room , nice lobby - we hung out here a lot. Good area to let dogs out. Walking distance to Culvers with a bonus 10% off your total when showing your room card.

I like this hotel for its price it’s a decent hotel. It’s fun for the kids the breakfast is okay nothing to brag about but you also won’t go hungry, pretty clean breakfast , the rooms are a bit outdated. But we still always enjoy our stay here. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms were not clean, the staff didn’t seem to care, there was never anyone at the desk to ask for help. Went to breakfast, there was no coffee, they said it would be done in 5 minutes and I waited over 10 minutes. The food options were terrible, they had cereal but no bowls! And none of the staff seemed to care. Never going back

The Room for the most part was in great condition . The sink stopper wouldn't open or close. The sheet on the bed had what looked like a small blood stain . I had the eggs and sausage patties for breakfast and both were disgusting. The eggs tasted instant and were watery. The sausage tasted like it had been boiled in water .

Staff was super friendly. Room was mediocre, you could tell the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. There were things left in there from the guest previous. Hair on the shower and walls. Lose tiles on the floor. The pool was the worst part. Since it was the reason we booked this hotel we were very sad. Kiddie pool was absolutely disgusting and the second day it was out of order. We didn’t let our child swim in the pool because of the way it looked.

Key card issues after check in and next day. No towels in pool area. Low temp in hot tub. Sub par continental breakfast. First night, no hot water in shower. Staff friendly. Clean rooms but the magnet closure on the cabinets/doors/drawers for storage not properly installed so they were extremely difficult to open. Stayed 2 nights and total was over $400 after tax/fees - for $200/night, quality should’ve been way better!!

The rooms were small but adequate; beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom did not look clean; the tub looked dirty. Also the bathroom had no exhaust/vent fan and felt wet/damp and smelled stinky all the time because towels and swim suits did not dry out. We chose this facility because of the location and the pool/slide. The chlorine levels in the pool seemed very high. The chlorine caused some discomfort on skin and eyes and smelled strongly on suits and towels. The pool area also got very rowdy at times (NOT the young kids) but not sure staff can do much about unruly and rude guests. We wanted to be close to the Renaissance Fair which we were—fairly easy drive to and from the fairgrounds. When I called and asked if there was a shuttle to the fair I was told “No” but what I wasn’t told was that there was a shuttle available within walking distance. That would have been very helpful to know and would have saved us a bit of money.
We had a good stay, however, I don’t think we would choose this facility again.

Don't stay here!

Our stay started with us getting into our room that was awfully humid. We thought they might not have gotten the sheets dried all the way so no big deal. A few minutes after being in the room we couldn't stand the smell of it so we went and bought a scent plug-in. When we returned I was in the bathroom and noticed dripping water from the ceiling. It was ceiling tiles so i was able to remove the tile and inspect where the water was coming from. Upon looking for the leak above, i noticed a bunch of mold above the ceiling. We have a 1 and 3 year old so we immediately decided we wanted a refund. I went to the front desk and was told they would have to ask the manager if we could have a refund. At this point our children were wanting to swim at the water park (the only reason we picked this hotel), so we took them down to the pool. Coincidentally, the hotel told us we could have a refund but saw the kids going to the pool and told us we have 20 minutes to pack up amd check out. The worker at the front desk was very confrontational and unprofessional. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. Ive also seen from other reviews we're not the only ones to find mold in our room.

The pool and waterslides were amazing. the room was nice and roomy as well. Loved that they had a mini waffle marker in addition to the big one. Didn't care for the hot food at breakfast much. Also seemed a bit short staffed, when I called for more toilet paper, they said it'd be like an hour before they could bring it up to us. But overall, I'd give it a solid 8 and we would return again!

Breakfast was great for amount of people I had with. The dining area was too small for the amount of guests and we were forced to eat in the lobby. There was only one highchair for children so guests took turns using it. There was loose tile in the bathrooms of our rooms. There was a large water leak from the ceiling in one of the rooms. It was wet totally in that bathroom and in to the living area. Cribs were advertised as available. Requested one each night and was told none were available. So I had to order a crib from Walmart. After paying nearly $800 for 2 rooms for 2 nights this would not be a hotel I would use again.
And lastly the slide in the pool area at the property was shut down.
