Beds was stained up/looked old and they have cheap blankets with what feels like a curtain on top but it’s really a duvet kind of thing.
. Didn’t try breakfast.
Room was way smaller than expected.
Easy to check in & out.
Staff were nice & helpful. Easy to talk to.
Could use new beds but other than that it was a good place to sleep. The rest of the hotel was updated it seemed like.

Both rooms we had reserved had dirty floors and walls. They were not very friendly when asking for more towels. Beds were not very comfortable either. I definitely would not stay here again. The pictures make it seem nicer than it is.

Everything was great (room, staff, cleanliness, quiet) except the breakfast. Quality was not up to par with other Super 8s where I've stayed. Had a variety of bread and muffins, but by 8 am they were out of butter and jam and didn't replenish. Line was too long for the waffle machine so the only other option was Fruit Loops or Cheerios. No yogurt, no hard boiled eggs, no sausage or cooked egg options. No fruit. This was very subpar considering they posted that breakfast was included with the room.

I liked the lobby and the staff. But, I was very unhappy when I got to the pool and spa wasn't working. It was out order until tomorrow. But, I'm checking out tomorrow. Also, was disappointed on bathroom floor and bedroom floor they were dirty. They need to mop the floors better. No pool towels in the pool. The parking was bad...need more parking spaces! On top of it I had to get a new card when we came back from Chanhassen because it didn't work. I think it was too expensive to stay here for one night because it wasn't what I expected.

I would have given 5 star for staff until the lady at the front desk Monday morning/afternoon (7/7/2025) Calling corporate on her for sure. She was so rude. Also it was 9 AM on my check out day and the cleaning lady was knocking on my door when I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door. Internet was horrible and was not able to even call down to the office since the actual phone in the room does not work.

The morning people were horrible and I went to go get breakfast and there was nothing and it was before 9 am. You can only use cash for the vending machines so make sure you have 1s

ATTN: Phone in the room didn’t even work. Internet sucks!! And I mean SUCKS!!!!

Overall a 2 out of 10 stars.

Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the late night worker was super nice and he actually tried to fix stuff but couldn’t due to the actual hotel being **********

The linens smelled like smoke. We had people partying in the hallways all night long and management didn’t do anything. It was so loud and we couldn’t sleep. Window screen had a whole in it. Didn’t feel safe at all!

The property looks like it was remodeled fairly recently. The outside could use a refresh though as it's cold and somewhat uninviting. The people were very nice, especially the woman that checked us in. The rooms were nice, although lacked cups. Towels were extremely rough, so I highly recommend bringing your own. Pool area was nice. Breakfast was a bit lacking with just waffles, toast and cereal.

I'd stay again for the price as it's completely fine for a night or two with no frills. Not somewhere I'd bring the family for a getaway though.

An Okay budget stay in Shakopee

Staff were very friendly.
Housekeepers are very nice & do a regularly check if you need anything.
The room was small but very clean.
Overall, the place is more on the noisy side, inside & out.
The parking lot is not spacious & was nearly full every night.
During the weekend, a family group made an argument ruckus in wee hours of the morning on my floor but the overnight staff were aware and handled it very fast. It sounded like there was a police officer who arrived to make sure there would not be any further incidents.

This was a really rough stay. Let me start by saying I didn't have high expectations but I certainly don't think the room was worth what was paid. First off our room smelled like cigarettes, lampshades were stained in nicotine. There were also several cigarette burns in the blankets provided. Dead bugs on ac and in windowsill, our window had a huge crack running across the glass. The room was filthy otherwise unidentified white spill all of the bed frame a layer of dust over everything and the bathroom had hair left over from the last stay. Would not recommend I was uncomfortable and no one in my party could get a good sleep. The only nice thing I have to say is that the staff was kind.

The room smelled so much like old cigarettes and other smells that we had to purchase allergy medicine, room deodorizers and fabric sanitizer. Luckily we were able to open a window to air it out more. The tv was also in poor quality with 8 lights constantly lit under the screen obscuring the show. Probably should have asked for a room change, but decided to deal with it for the short while.

Staff were pleasant on check in. This is the only good thing I can say about our stay. The room smelled musty and like stale cigarette smoke. The AC unit added to the smell. The hot tub water was green/brown. Looked like a health hazard. Our hallway smelled like weed. There were men tailgating in the parking lot with liquor bottles and smoking at night. I was traveling alone with my child and felt very unsafe arriving back late from our outings. I inquired about changing rooms or getting a refund because the reviews did not align with the accommodations I was given. I received no reply. If you are traveling with a family I would not recommend this hotel!

Guest services actually asked me if we preferred to be on the main floor or the second floor, which never happens. The hotel was clean and updated. The pool was nice and having a hot tub was a nice option. It took two cycles for the hot tub to heat up. There were signs of its age in a few places in the hotel, specifically the exterior (side) doors, draperies and bathroom ceilings. Apparently Marijuana is legal in Minnesota, we could smell it in the hall.

We did online check-in but had to do the whole process over again. The hotel states there is a coffee maker in the room but there isn’t. The bathroom and floor could have been cleaner—hair on the floor. Everything seemed decent.
