Beds and pillows very comfy. Seems to be an older hotel but a great price and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom in our room was very small and an odd design- the door opened in front of the toilet then right into the sink, so you’d have to stand out of the way to shut the door- not very convenient for more than one person to use the bathroom.

There was 0 towels available for the entire week, didn’t matter what time I went they said they were in the wash… recieved towels one time and they had mascara marks and other yellow stains, gross, we ended up going out to buy our own towels. Rooms were okay but staff wasn’t very helpful.

It was an hour past check in time before we were able to get to our room because the cleaning staff were “behind.” We waited in the lobby because we were told it would only take a few minutes. With little kids, that is a long wait and there was no service recovery.
The bathrooms were designed poorly, the door opens right into the toilet. You have to squeeze between the door and toilet, then shut the door to access the sink. It is nearly impossible to fit more than one person in the bathroom with this door design flaw, making it difficult especially with kids.
Breakfast was minimal, lack of variety. There was minimal seating, especially for a weekend. There were several tables but only a few chairs, most of the tables had no chairs at all.
Pool is very small. No pool towels.
Housekeeping took our dirty towels between nights but didn’t replenish them. When I went to the front desk to ask for more, they were only able to give me 2 towels for a family of 6.
I think the staff had a very hard time handling an influx of guests on an event weekend.

Room was not ready when we checked in, we were offered a different room or could wait. We opted to wait as it had a walk in shower. Disappointed we had a yapping dog in the room next to us half the night. Shower had hot water. Breakfast was adequate. Could have had better fruit selection and yogurt. Waffles were great. Eggs and sausage were good. Overall we would stay here again.

Staff was very friendly, but the TV didn't work in our room. One of the lamps had a blown light bulb. One of the rods to open the curtains was missing. The pool looked better in the pictures. The restroom in the pool area was out of area with the door on its side.

4th time here. One reason we come back is the breakfast. While your breakfast server is a delight, it appears that management is saving money by cutting out the premium breakfast that we have come to expect. Next time we will check the menu before reserving. We expected more than a bagel.

Only complaint was that no matter how hard my husband tried, he was unable to establish wi-fi connection. When he went to the front desk first assistance the first night, he felt the staff was unprofessional and borderline rude. When he asked for a manager he was told the manager would be in the morning. She stated there was nothings he could do about the wi-fi. The second night a different staff was on duty,he again asked for assistance and even brought his laptop downstairs. STILL NO WI-FI. Pretty dad when guest can not sign on to the wi-fi!! At least the gentleman working remained professional.

The hotel is 12-15minutes to downtown Madison. The hotel itself is ok, upon entering the building you will feel the humidity inside, it's hot especiallu in the elevator..the check in is ok, no one is around when I enter the building she somewhat somewhere in the building and waited . The room is ok one lampshade is not working, the lights on the headboard is not working, stain on the lampshade . There is only 2 towels ,1 handtowel and 1 face towel and smell different.Air con is ok somehow the fan don't run continuously. The breakfast is the worst, I travel a lot but this one , wow , don't expect to see scrambled egg or bacon or sausage nothing . They only have pancake with syrup.2-3 Oranges and apple. Cereals for kids and toast with jelly jam. And the worst is the coffee,. Taste awful and water too. We stayed 2 days and not planning to come back. The front desk guy spend too much time in his phone .Thats it.

This was a very minimalist place. No hand soap by the sink. They said to use the shower gel. Then outside their control the power went out in middle of night due to storm. We had no hot water and no lights in stairwell to get down 4 flights of stairs and I'm pretty certain this is a fire code violation. The weather is outside their control and now they are refusing any kind of remediation!! No concern whatsoever. They are blaming the city of Madison. Baymont will continue to hear from me.

On arival there was a man and woman who apeard homeless fighting. We went inside to check in. The man who was running the front desk was outside and stayed out there for quite sometime before checking us in. We then went upstairs to the room. The bathroom light didn't work. We then went down to the pool area. The lights were all off the hot tub was cold and jets didn't work. We then went outside to our vehicle and found what looked like puck all over the sidewalk. I highly can't recommend this hotel. For all this they should have discounted the rooms by a lot.

For a BIG graduation weekend-where you were charging us 3x more then the average price - the breakfast variety was terrible, only oranges for fruit as an option. No yogurt, no healthy options. The coffee was always out. There wasn’t even a coffee pot in our room for an option. How they clean is they “spray” EVERY area with a scent- no real cleaning was done. The temperature was all over the place- some areas where cold and other areas in the hotel were HOT! Would not stay again!!

3. Gym is a joke. 1 partially working treadmill. 1 treadmill from 1970. 1 non working recumbent bike. Non functioning cable weight pull machine. No dumbbells. No kettlebells. No exercise balls or mats.
4. Rooms showed disrepair , inattentive and were dirty.

The staff must be underpaid and under resourced. Time for new owners and new managers. My complaints went ignored.

Do not stay here. The health inspector needs to visit this place. Gross.

Stayed here a few years ago when it was owned by a different brand. Went downhill. Very dark rooms because there is only bedside lighting. Some outlets did not work. There was a hairdryer holder but no hairdryer. A bit dirty but not bad at all. Decent place but not what is was.

Reasonably clean. Lights in my room didn’t work. Most outlets didn’t work. Only bedside lamps were operational. Staff delivered a pedestal lamp with a dim bulb late in the night after raising issue with front desk 5 times. Breakfast was ok. I will avoid this particular property in the future. Maybe other properties under the hotel brand might be ok so I cannot comment on that.

The hallways were worn and had garbage on the floor, same garbage was their the next day, we found a receipt and coins in the night stand clearly showing they don’t clean those after each guest, the hot tub jets were broken, the free breakfast was poor and the coffee was empty. The women working the front desk was annoyed anytime someone came up, she was just sitting on her phone. Our room for 4 guests had 1 washcloth and 1 towel, when we asked for extra she replied they were out and gave us a hand towel and bath mat to use instead. We only had one key card for the room due to them being out of key cards. And an hour before checkout a male housekeeper used his card to enter our room without even knocking! Good thing we weren’t changing at that time! I would never stay here again.

The hot tub was very nice to relax,but the Jets weren't able to go on the switch for them was busted. The room was very nice except there was no light in the bedroom area only a lamp for light which worked fine. Breakfast was good had a warm biscuits eggs and sausage with along with toast. Forgot to pack Tylenol and they had some in the vending machines but it was quite expensive. Overall experience was good except when we went to check in with our name and ID we were told we didn't have a room and had to go to the second Baymont 10 minutes away in downpouring rain, just to be told that the original hotel was the one we were supposed to stay at. Front service ass got snippy with us and she put in the name on the ID correctly and showed that we did have a room Make sure to double check the confirmation email and if it isn't correct due insist that you have a stay.

The property was dirty, it was like it was in the middle of a remodel with paint dripped on the floor in the elevator and in the hallway. Holes in the carpet. Sidewalk was crumbling and missing pieces! The pool and hot tub are TINY!!. the floor in our room was really sticky. The coffee pots and juice machine were leaking. BUT.... the staff were really nice and helpful the breakfast was good and the beds were really comfortable!!

After the first day we did not receive enough clean towels and the room was not cleaned. I asked about that and they said they clean the room every other day. Then the next day did not receive enough clean towels and the room was not cleaned. Then the other guy said that they only clean the room at check out. Then the room next to us played a continual beat of music throughout the night. Could not sleep. Front desk did nothing, so I called the room and politely asked them to lower it and they did. The premises is bare minimum at every level. One of the worst experiences I have ever had in 30 years.

Staff was on computer when we checked in. Took time to even acknowledge standing in front of him. Our room smelled BADLY of weed. Like they tried to febreeze the smell out. If the fan was not constantly running it was horrendous.
The bathroom was dirty. Clearly “cleaning” is the bare minimum. We booked for three people. We had two towels and a single washcloth. Tried calling downstairs for more and there was no answer on any attempted. The walls above the bed are dirty and dinged. I get it’s a “cheaper” hotel but cheap doesn’t need to mean dirtier than the street.

To start when i was checking in I was told i needed tkmpay an extra $100 deposit that was never mentioned when i booked the room. Then the stair way looked like it hasnt seen a vacuum in months. When asked about WiFi i was told I had to sign up for some rewards program to get wifi and when I signed up for that it said that only gave me slow wifi and if i wanted high speed wifi it would cost $5 a day... My fridge in my room didnt work so i had to use alot more ice unfortunately there is only 1 ice machine for all 4 floors of the hotel... There was also abunch of broken stuff all around the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. The only hot option was the nasty waffle maker. This was probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

The lady at front desk was friendly and attentive! I truly appreciate her assistance. The room was nice but the bed was squeaky, I couldn’t turn over without it making noise. The hotel in general was clean and quiet until the weekend, which is understandable. Ample parking, and it’s near restaurants and stores.

The room was decent, clean, but walls are thin. Unfortunately, we were next to loud neighbors smoking weed, blasting music, and had a 3 year old that wouldn’t stop screaming, so the smell and noise was rather annoying. The shower was really nice, housekeeping half did their job- left no hand soap and only had one bath towel though. Staff was very friendly. Not terrible, but would stay somewhere else in the future.

The phone in our room did not work, and the “soundproofing” was nonexistent. We ordered a pizza, and it was left sitting out in the open lobby—apparently the days of hotel staff ensuring guests actually receive their deliveries are long gone.

As a wheelchair user, I received no offer of assistance with bags, and the sidewalks in front of the accessible parking stalls were covered in packed snow. The rest of the sidewalk was cleared, leaving a slick, uneven barrier directly in front of the accessible spaces. It wasn’t snowing. The next day, a guest taking their dog out saw me spinning my wheels in place and offered to help. My wheelchair doesn’t have all‑terrain tires, so it was essentially like trying to move a stationary bike through ice until I could dig in enough to get traction.

We were staying at the motel because my partner was having surgery, and we live quite a distance away. I wanted to be able to get a full night’s rest—which absolutely did not happen—and with blowing snow and drifting adding to the commute time, I needed the drive to be ten minutes, not two hours. I didn’t want an extra two hours tacked onto the trip because of drifting on top of everything else. We had planned to stay through the day of her surgery as well, which is why I booked two nights.

Inside the room, the situation wasn’t any better. The guests above us—at least two older children and an infant—were running from one end of their room to the other, nonstop. It sounded like they were attemp

Sheets don’t fit the bed constantly coming off. Continental breakfast is a joke. Waffles toast and cereal as they don’t do the buffet when there’s to many people in the hotel. If you want to get stoned off the smell of people smoking their pot this is the place to stay as our own room smelled of it since was so strong. Front desk doesn’t pick up when needed. The lobby and elevator consistently smelt of marijuana and dirty mop water. The carpet and flooring in hallways and room had dried paint stains. We asked housekeeping NOT to enter the room, and they did anyway only taking our dirty towels and not replacing them. The A/C in our room was leaking water and carpet was moist near the unit. The “gym” was disgusting with dirty, broken machines. Breakfast options only included waffles, bread, bagels, yogurt, and cold cereal. Worst of all was the locals hanging nearby waiting for guests to leave. One took a picture of our plate and went inside to find out our room number. Once he realized we caught on he waved us off and went away. The area is unsafe, not patrolled, and I would never recommend this place.
