The Starlight luxury rooms, established in 2013, are nestled in the heart of Split's UNESCO World Heritage site. Offering a tranquil escape from the vibrant Mediterranean atmosphere, the property is meticulously refurbished annually.
Choose from superior double rooms, junior suites, and deluxe suites. Each elegant, air-conditioned room is soundproofed and boasts a luxurious interior, modern bathroom, large windows with city views, complimentary Wi-Fi, a state-of-the-art LCD Smart TV, a refreshment center, and a safe.
Please note: Self check-in via lockboxes is used, as there is no reception. Rooms are located at two addresses 100m apart: Sinjska 2 (superior rooms, junior suites, deluxe suites with jacuzzi) and Sredmanuska 1 (luxury rooms with park views, serenity rooms, deluxe suites with steam baths, luxury suites with balconies).

This location is in a great location. Step outside and there’s immediate shopping and dining. A bus and Uber hub is also right outside the door.

The location was near all points of interests, the sea, restaurants and transportation.We felt safe at all hours. The concierge was available via Whatsapp very promptly and kindly helped us at odd hours when we lost our room card. The rooms are in an old building with stairs. If you have mobility issues or prefer a hotel per se, you might want to take this into consideration. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for exploring the old town
Lovely spacious apartment that is perfectly located to explore the old town. We were a couple staying in the Deluxe Double and it was perfect for our needs. There are no views from the spacious balcony but it was pleasant to sit out on an evening. My only addition would be a Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to music.

Starlight Luxury Rooms was perfectly located! You are far from the crowds but close to everything. Only a short walk around the corner and you are in the midst of the beautiful city of Split. The bed was very a comfortable, the room lovely, and coming from a person who judges a hotel by the water pressure in the shower, Starlight Luxury Rooms definitely gets five stars from me! I would gladly stay here again and definitely recommend it to everyone.

The apartment is on the edge of old city but is still reachable by car to unload baggage. I got extremely lucky and found a free parking for 3 days. We had a spacious room with a fridge so we could have a breakfast in the room (there are two supermarkets and a bakery just around the corner). There is a cleaning service every day. Split in general is a fantastic place to be and we definitively be back!

Both front desk attendants were very nice and allowed us to keep our bags with them until the room was ready. They even put the bags in the room for us. The floor has a really cool stone and crystal floor. The only thing that could be better is the AC was at the lowest temperature and it was still warm. Also you have to walk up 4 flights of stairs but that’s Europe! I really liked this place and the staff and I would definitely stay there again!

The service we experienced here was exceptional! There was nothing more than the host could do that would have made our stay any easier or more relaxed so definitely a 10/10 for customer service. Location is absolutely spot on as well, your a 10min walk from everywhere you could possibly want to go minus the further afield attractions.
Unfortunately during our stay it was quite noisy that night and because we had to be up early for our flight then that did annoy us slightly. As well as this the bed wasn’t quite as comfy as I’d like although I am 6.3 and 95kg so I guess that’s subject to my size.

The room was shown on the web as a large specious room; it was a very small one in reality, It had no real table or chairs. The extension of the sink counter served us as a table. Being in the center of Split, the noise from the outside never stoped. The good feature protecting from that noise was a remote controlled screen that insulated the room from the outside sounds. Starlight rooms are good for couples or singles who are gone for the full day and come back just to sleep and be gone the next day.

This stay was amazing, it was close to everything you need or could want with the ideal location in Split’s Old Town. Not only was the host Mario knowledgeable and super friendly, but he went well above and beyond to accommodate me and other guests as well. He got me in contact with local Croatian people who gave me the experience of a lifetime, as well as helped me out with local issues that made life so much easier.
The room was amazing, and i would recommend booking for only 1 night, and afterwards, if you want to continue your stay, contacting him directly as he will be accommodating to give you amazing deals as well!

Absolutely great, unfortunately we only had one night in Split. The location in more than perfect with 2-3min walk to the city center with the famous historic buildings, lots of restaurangs and bars, another 1-2 minute of walking and you are at the marine. This place is highly recommended!

This place is all about location and value for money. We had a few issues with the room we were intially given as there seemed to be a bit of damp due to a faulty shower. Once we told them, they swiftly moved myself and my wife to a next door room.

Miran was awesome and the rooms were some of the best we have had in Croatia. Location was fairly close to everything in the city and was a nice walk. The only thing I didn't like was parking our car two blocks away in an alleyway but it did not get vandalized, stolen or towed so no harm done.

Split Luxury Rooms is on the second floor without a lift, but located at one of the most convenient places in the city.
Check in was easy, and their staff helped us park the car at their garage - which was a ten minute walk away from the rooms.
We had booked a deluxe suite, and it was a roomy v-shaped room with two comfortable beds; firm mattresses and good pillows. Interiors were as pictured, and it was a lot of space for the four of us, and enough space for all our luggage.
Toilets were clean, good water pressure and responsive heating. No bidet, much like most of the Balkans. Shampoo and body lotion was provided. Jacuzzi spa bath worked well, great after a long day out.
Balcony view wasn't much, but it was nice to have a place to air out our wet clothes after a day at the beach.
Location was perfect, had a lovely gelataria called Gelataria Emiliano right behind it, really walkable to all of the Old Town and ten minutes to Riva. Loved the convenience.
Staff were very responsive - we communicated through WhatsApp prior to check in so we could arrange the timing for the car park. They were also very helpful with some minor requests, and even helped us bring our car from the garage on checkout.
Would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting Split - as long as you have no mobility issues.

We had booked a deluxe suite, and it was a roomy v-shaped room with two comfortable beds; firm mattresses and good pillows. Interiors were as pictured, and it was a lot of space for the four of us, and enough space for all our luggage.
Toilets were clean, good water pressure and responsive heating. No bidet, much like most of the Balkans. Shampoo and body lotion was provided. Jacuzzi spa bath worked well, great after a long day out.
Balcony view wasn't much, but it was nice to have a place to air out our wet clothes after a day at the beach.
Location was perfect, had a lovely gelataria called Gelataria Emiliano right behind it, really walkable to all of the Old Town and ten minutes to Riva. Loved the convenience.
Staff were very responsive - we communicated through WhatsApp prior to check in so we could arrange the timing for the car park. They were also very helpful with some minor requests, and even helped us bring our car from the garage on checkout.
Would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting Split - as long as you have no mobility issues.

The hotel rooms are located in a third floor (55 big steps) with no elevator. Payments for the room is Cash only without any warning emails or information at Hotels.com website. The girls at the \"front desk\" did not know anything (all question I do not know). Parking from the Hotel is far away and they took me to a parking that was higher price than the one quoted at Hotels.com website.

The room was located right along the edge of the old city which allowed us to walk everywhere and still return easily to drop things off. The staff helped us find the place and also arranged parking in a garage for our rental car. When we left they picked up the car from the garage and brought it out front so we could load the luggage. The amazing city of Split was made even better by the decision to stay at Starlight. Miran, the General Manager was very accomodating and always made sure to connect with us ensuring we had everything we needed. The location of the toom was perfect and only a minute walk to the gates of old town. Rooms were clean and had everything we required. We would definitely stay at starlight again and would absolutely recommend to our friends and family.

Overall it was excellent. Room was really nice and clean, location was superb as it was just few steps away from a touristic area with tons of restaurants, shops and historic landmarks, as well as the port.
Some useful information: Public parking was just few blocks away but not bad and at reasonable price, it was 24 hr operation which was convenient for us. Apartments are located on 3rd floor, no elevator, however staff helped to take luggage upstairs. Staff was really attentive. 100% recommended.

The location is ideal - situated diagonally straight across the park from the statue of Grgur Ninski and the Golden Gate of Diocletian’s Palace.
It’s only a 5 minute walk to the Riva and 10 minutes to the Rail Station and drop off/pick up point from the airport shuttle bus.

In the morning we asked what to do with the ticket and were told to pay for the parking. $7kuna per hour :-/. Cost us $84 kuna for the night. We challenged him on this but he wouldn’t budge. We complained to the website who tried to contact him but he wouldn’t respond to them either. The apartments are neat and clean and have a 80”s disco feel about them and initial impressions were great. But don’t come here if you need parking.... the free valet parking is a sham.

The location is absolutely awsome. Step out the apartment, you are in front of the old palace in 1 min. The room is comfortable and the receiptions are so helpful. Kristina has shown me the parking lot nearby herself which charged 7Kn per hour only. It was good stay with family, indeed.

During checking in we were advised that there was a big foodball game going on. Based on this they provided up free use of their garage - they also offered to drive our car for us to the garage or jump in our car to show us the way. Although the garage is a ten minute walk it was great because it was secure.

While the accommodation was good and the location was adjacent to Diocletians palace getting into the room was difficult The rooms are on the second floor in an alley off the Main Street No one met us on arrival and the parking was also an issue The garage was a fifteen minute walk from the place and when we got there It could not accommodate my car. The plus to this misadventure is I could park and leave the car in the residential area where their garages where located for free and on the way back found a pleasant square where there where great food options.

The location of this hotel is GREAT. It is outside the old city walls but just around the corner for easy access and a way to get out of the hustle and bustle of that scene. There is no view so if that is what you want, you wont get it here. The room was very clean the only reason i downgraded to a 4 was there was a brown spot on the carpet that looks unsightly on grey shag. The staff was pleasant my only reason to give this a 4 was that i kept getting text and phone calls on my phone which was presumptive given i dont have an international calling plan and will likely pay extra. Finally, the location was not really easy to find and the cab driver didnt know where it was so that caused some confusion.

Starlight has two properties in Split. We stayed at Sredmanuska ulica and loved the location. Set on the first floor of an apartment block beside the historic city walls it is a two minute walk through a little park to the Diocletian palace which lies at the heart of Split and the wonderous history of the palace.

A very short walk from the palace and surroundings. On 2nd floor of the building, we managed very well as we only had cabin bags. Would have struggled with heavy luggage, most accommodations are old builds without lifts due to UNESCO protection and no alteration. Room and bathroom very nice and clean. Barely heard any noise once windows closed. Air condition worked well, some might feel bed a bit hard, we were comfortable. Pillows were too soft as was the case in all three hotels we stayed in Croatia. Manager Mirin was very polite and helpful, answered all our queries. I would highly recommend family and friends to stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Starlight and Kristina was so helpful. She provided a map of the area with recommendations of where to eat and what to see. She also helped us if we had any questions and was easy to get hold of by text when we needed.

A great hotel! Had a lovely stay there. The room was very spacious and had all of the amenities that we needed. This was towards the end of our trip, so we were very tired and they had a TV with a working Netflix which was a savior. It's also very centrally located in Old Town Split - a little more removed from the heart of it, which is good because it has easy access to taxi pickup. Also, it's a very short walk to the center of town - 5 mins tops. The hostess was lovely. A wonderful experience overall!

There was no one there to check us in when we arrived. For a few minutes we started to wonder whether this place existed or not until a girl came out from the building and we asked if she could help with ringing the contact phone number in our correspondence emails. She did and was shocked by the poor attitude the man answered the phone..Finally someone came, didn’t show much sincere apologies for the bad experience we had. We can’t imagine how badly our holiday would be ruined if without that girl helping ringing the property, as our mobiles can’t make calls in Croatia. The room is actually in third floor due to the ground floor, so there are lots of stairs to climb. If you have big heavy luggages, or got week legs or knees, then better look for other places.

Miran was really helpful, pointing out where to eat that was away from the tourist crowds of the old city, which beach to go to, etc. He also went downstairs and carried our luggage up, which was most appreciated. The other staff were great, as well. And the location was perfect -- just outside the wall of the old city. Room was clean and very nice. All in all, a nice find, and we were very pleased.

The room we had was great but if you're looking for privacy there are better options. The door to the hotel and the front desk were literally 3 or 4 feet outside our door, meaning we heard every person coming in and going out. The gentleman running the place was beyond kind but I don't know how he kept a straight face when he told us our room was sound proof. We could hear everything in the hall and on the street outside. Great location overall, though, with good amenities and a comfortable bed. Everything you could want is within walking distance and that's the real value, just be prepared to deal with a little noise on the streets at night. Also, the hotel is on the 3rd floor of the building so be ready for that if you're doing more than backpacking.

Really nice room, had a big covered balcony but not much of a view as we could only see the side of the hotel next door. The spa tub was great and the bed was comfortable. The outside of the building the hotel is in and the stairs up to the lobby were a little shabby but once inside the small lobby and hotel corridor everything was very clean and well presented. The desk is only staffed for guests checking in and out.

I stayed in Split at the start and end of my trip to Croatia. I stayed here on the first two days and and an upscale, full-service hotel on the last two. I preferred Starlight, and would choose it again next time. It's actually a group of rooms in a charming apartment building. You get a set of keys for the front door, the door to Starlight's set of rooms, and a key for your room. I felt like a local living in Split! The room is deluxe, the bed was super comfortable, sheets and towels of excellent quality, soundproof windows and the shower was modern. I especially appreciated the airport pickup.

Our stay at the Luxury Rooms was absolutely magical. Damir and Miran were fabulous hosts. The Hotel is located in Old Town Split and is a short walk from all of the major attractions. Additionally, their communication was superb. We drove a car and they met us and helped us park overnight in a local garage for a minimal (15 Euro) fee. Additionally, Damir and Miran provided fabulous suggestions about visiting wonderful Split. The rooms are completely state of the art. We highly recommend Starlight Luxury Rooms. This hotel is so great- doesn't look like anything special from outside, then you get in and find a big, modern lovely room! I sprung for the one with the jet tub and patio and I think I took 4 baths in like two days. The staff is really wonderful too- they contacted me before my trip and gave me good instructions on how to find them, and they speak English which made my life easier. I also used their service for a ride to the airport and am really glad I spent the extra to have a clean car arrive on time than lug my stuff around looking for a cab at 6am. It's super easy to walk around old town from Starlight as well. Highly recommend and I'd stay here again!

I take maintenance and cleanliness very seriously - I clean the rooms and change towels on a daily basis, which is appreciated by my guests. My name is Danira Bašić and I am the owner of Romantic Luxury Rooms.
I am a also trained in various types of massage, some of which are based on eastern medicine traditions. I love what I do and I see helping people as my life mission.
Holistic approach is being used in my massages, which means I work on the harmony of the psycho-physical body. I run my business very responsibly and I am at my guests' disposal for any advice and help.
Kninska street is surrounded with the pedestrian zone on the one side, and motor traffic zone on the other, so there is a city parking lot and a taxi stop nearby. The Diocletian's Palace is in 3 minutes walking distance with Marmontova street, which ends on Riva, just a minute away.
The neighborhood is very quiet and calm, especially at night, unlike the Old city core with its numerous bars that run late into night. The outer walls are 50cm thick which provides a solid sound and temperature isolation.
